In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Traverse Town always had many different people living in it, and not all of them were good ones. But that was life, it never went the way you wanted it to go. Still that wasn't much to be worried about, which exactly what Kyriu told himself as he dared to leave his house to buy a few more groceries. Unfortunately he started day dreaming and ended up in the third district.
The student wasn't sure why but these days random people kept showing up and asking him for help. Weather it was a delivering something, helping clean out a few things or even watch a pet. He earned quite a bit of money that he was going to put to good use...it was kind of irritating.
Kyriu walked passed a few bystanders and decided to take a rest and sat on a near by bench.
Suddenly a blinking object caught his eye it was lying in a corner behind the bench. Without hesitation he picked up the object only to find out that it was a brand new silver gun. Printed on it were the words ''St1 Executive''.
'' The things people leave lying around here'' Kyriu said.
V entered Traverse Town third district, she had been looking for Kiryu for quite some time now and was getting worried. "I really hope he's not mad at me." she thought, as she walked the streets. She recalled the image of her leaving him to go see where the winged girl Zephyr was going.
Her curiosity got the best of her, and even though she did have a great experience in Halloween Town, she still felt bad about leaving Kiryu behind. She sighed, then suddenly Shira's voice entered her head. "your being an idiot." she muured, "I'm sure Kiryu will understand if you tell him what happened."
V nodded, "your right..." she said. She then looked up and saw the sun beaming across the town and smiled, "the sun is wonderful." she said suddenly reappeared, "nah! I perfer the moon." V laughed, "oh Shira so shady." she murmured, she then looked to her right and to her surprise, saw Kiryu sitting on a bench.
"Kiryu!" she shouted, she was about to run to him but then stopped herself. What if he was mad at her? Maybe she shouldn't have come to Traverse Town. She paced a little, then seeing a bench to the left she went over and sat down. What should she do?
Kyriu looked at the gun for a while. It somehow seemed so familiar to him, he wasn't sure why though. He simply shrugged then tossed the gun onto the roof....that way no one could try and use it for their own means. He suddenly remembered that he was not here to look at weapons at all. '' Now why am I in the third district?'' he asked himself. Instead of trying to figure that out he stared walking while looking at the sky for some reason.
Unexpectedly he tripped and landed right in front of V.
'' Oh V!! Um..'' he quickly got up and dusted himself trying to ignore the sudden red color of his face. '' I haven't seen you in a while, well after that strange cafe event with the odd people. Anyway I'm glad your alright'' he said.
Kyriu gave V a quick hug then realized something.
'' Something wrong you look worried about something?''
V was confused on what was happening, one minute she was sitting at the bench thinking to herself. Then another minute, Kiryu falls right in front of her! What was even more confusing was, the moment Kiryu saw her he hugged her! "wait..." she thought, "this isn't right shouldn't he be mad!?"
She was truly shocked. She was in her own thoughts until, "Something wrong you looked worried about something." she snapped back into reality, she had to remember Kiryu was here.
She looked at Kiryu and shook her head, "no! Nothings wrong! I...." she looked down at the ground sadly, "Im sorry..." she murmured.
The next thing V said confused him. The last time he got a chance to talk to her it was interupted by so many people. He forgave her then, but what was she talking about now? Anyway it didn't matter very few things did these days.
Kyriu sat next to her glanced at his watch then spoke.
'' I'm really sure what your talking about but it's fine Now why don't you tell me where you've been all this time?'' he said to her.
Strangely though he suddenly felt like he was forgetting something. It took him about 2 seconds to remember though.
'' Oh yeah here I have something for you'' Kyriu said as he took out a book from the brown bag he was carrying with him.
'' I thought you might want to recored anything interesting that you come across'' he said.
V looked up at Kiryu, then at the book. It was brown with designs all over it, she took it from his hand and smiled. "He's not mad..." she thought, she looked at Kiryu and smiled. "Thank you!" she said as she gave him a hug, all of a sudden she remembered something.
"oh!" she said, as she got something out from her bag. "Tada!" she said holding out her hands, inside was a bracelete with all different wierd charms. "ik guys don't usually wear jewlery." she said laughing, "but I found this in the world I wad just in." She then took Kiryu's right wrist, and putting the bracelet on she smiled.
"This is for when you go off and have your own adventures, and need a little bit of help it'll protect you." she looked up at Kiryu and looking back at the book he gave her grinned happily.
Kyriu blinked for a while then looked at the bracelet on his arm. It was strange he could have sworn that once she put that on he felt a bit better, in fact for some reason it reminded him of their first meeting. Now he had two bracelets on his arm, what else could make him feel better? Well...hopefully no one will notice that he's wearing them.
'' Thanks V...I really like this one....odd though I don't seem to mind the small skull in the middle.'' he said with great happiness.
Just then he felt a very large foot stomp. He wasn't sure where it came from but he decided to forget about it though.
'' Um...V I have a question, why do you keep traveling from place to place?'' he asked.
He honestly wished he had a means of traveling himself.
As Kiryu asked his question, V was a bit surprised. "why do I travel from place to place?" she repeated. She scratched the back of her head and thought for a minute. Why did she travel? She had never thought about it before, "maybe it has something to do with my past." she thought.
She tried to think back, but just came at a blank. She sighed, then smiling up at Kiryu she said. "You know! I don't really know, I think because I want to explore new places and meet new people." She laughed, hopfully that was the case.
'' Hmm...well If you say so.'' Kyriu said. He didn't want to press the matter further seeing as how it wasn't that important. Meeting new people was always a nice feeling, but he rarely left his home these days, in fact he might be able to spend a whole week over there.....not that he minded. Judging b V's laughter he could say that she was in a good mood, this made Kyriu want to improve it further...but he wasn't sure how.
He suddenly remembered a problem that he had been having.
'' Hey V, um..can I ask you something it's really important'' he said.
Kyriu took hold of his katana and laid it infront of him while waiting for an answer.
V was confused by his actions, taking out his Katana. She pondered, "hmmm...I wonder what he wants to ask." She looked at the Katana then back at him. She smiled, "yeah sure what is it?"
Kyriu looked at the Katana that hadn't been drawn. He had been having problems with it for quite some time now, and he thought that V could help him somehow. He needed to make it easy to understand so that she wouldn't get confused.
He concentrated hard to figure out exactly what it felt like, remembering the times when it happened.
'' Sometimes whenever I draw my sword and forget to sheath it, something happens to me. It's not like mind control but like a become a completely different person. I mean it's me, but different. And I remember now the first time I picked it up....I felt different like I was holding something of extreme value'' Kyriu said.
V nodded, she knew exactly what he meant. She looked at the katana and touched the blade, there was a strong aura resonating from it. She picked it up and held it to her face, then closing her eyes she concentrated on the sword.
Suddenly she was in the soul of the sword, and there began to be some sort of light blue glow in her mind.
She looked deeper into the aura, and to her surprise she saw a figure of someone. It was a man alright, and was he...smiling at her? "Who are you?" she asked. But the figure was silent.
She tried to get closer but, something wasn't allowing her. The figure then began to move towards her, frightened V lost concentration and the figure vanished. She opened her eyes. "that was wierd..." she thought, she then looked at Kiryu.
"Kiryu?" she asked, "where did you get this sword?"
The look on V's face didn't help Kyriu's mood at all. '' Um...I found it in...ah some old man's store went it was abandoned'' he said then took hold of the sword. ''He always liked that one...I wasn't sure why.'' Kyriu said. It was weird though he never thought that it was strange until now, but why would someone leave something so important on the floor?
He then noticed something in the sheath '' Hey whats this?'' he said as he took out a small paper that for some reason seemed to grow bigger as he unfolded it.
Kyriu started reading the writing.
DEAR OWNER OF THE BLADE, IF YOUR READING THIS RIGHT NOW THEN YOU MUST HAVE DISCOVERED THAT SOMETHING IS NOT QUITE RIGHT WITH THIS FINE WEAPON. YOU ARE CORRECT..IT CONTAINS THE VERY SPIRIT OF AN ANCIENT WARRIOR. I TELL YOU THIS BECAUSE I MUST WARN YOU TO NEVER READ THE WORDS BELOW.
BODHI ( Awakening)
SATORI ( Enlightenment)
MAMORI ( Protect)
'' Wait didn't he say not to read them?'' Kyriu said out loud forgetting himself.
He was too busy pondering that he failed to notice Aura crawling onto his hand.
When Kiryu looked up at V, she was shaking. Not from fear, no from excitment! She smiled widely, "Kiryu!" she shouted happily. "This is awesome, I knew I was right! The sword is haunted by a warrior, so that must've been the guy I saw when I was checking the aura."
V then became silent, she saw the look of confusion on Kiryu's face. "oh I forgot to tell you, when I touched your sword I sensed an immense amount of energy so I looked inside of it and saw a strange figure. That must be the ancient warrior."
V jumped up and spun around, she was just too excited! Suddenly she stopped, she sensed a familiar aura. "Kiryu?" she said questionably, she turned towards him and gasped. The aura frrom the sword was going onto Kiryu's hand! "Kiryu!" she shouted, "drop the sword."
'' Eh?'' was the last the thing he said before the sword suddenly turned bright blue. Then after a few seconds it stopped. The student's eye color suddenly changed to blue, and his body relaxed. Instead of saying anything the student remained motionless for quite some time just sitting there without any problems.
Several minutes passed without any reaction. Out of the blue the student suddenly stood up then swiped his sword from the ground then sheathed it with deadly accuracy, as If he done it a thousand times.
The last thing the student did was look in the direction of the stomping he heard earlier.
'' Forgive but a battle awaits'' he said with complete determination, in fact he said it so casually that it sounded like he was going to take a walk in the park.
Without much hesitation he sprinted deeper into the district drawing his blade in the process.
There was only one thought that passed through the Kyriu's head.
