In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. Kyriu slowly opned the door to his home and closed the door when he came in. His walking was a bit stiff, and he looked quite pale as well. Aside from this he forced himself to stand up straight. He didn't want to worry Lakuri at all with this new problem, he didn't want to look like a freak either. He slowly walked into the living room and stopped at the center still feeling a bit weak.
'' Um...Lakuri...are you there?'' he called out. Hoping that he didn't look half as bad as he felt.

Lakuri had been resting in the bed room when Kyriu came back. Although she was very excited to see him, she was still a bit tired so she wasn't quite as energetic as she usually would have been.
She walked out into the living room, stil wearing her tank top and shorts... se found no real reason to go change first since it was just Kyriu. "I'm here babe." she said happily then walked over to him and greeted him with a kiss. "I missed you while you were gone." she said " Although i did fall asleep for a bit of it." she said innocently and smiled. She was just happy to have Kyriu back. it wasn'r fun being alone.
Kyriu came back to life when he was kissed by lakuri, unfortunately he was greeted by that heartbeat again. '' s-sorry about it won't happen again'' Kyriu said to Lakuri. He waited a few seconds then simply hugged her and held her close to him. It was the only comfort that kept himself from breaking down. Just bing close to her made him feel better. He decided that it was best if he didn't tell her anything just yet.
He kept holding on to her till he realized that he was being weird. ''' Ah sorry I just missed you soo much, sorry for taking so long.'' Kyriu said after h e pulled away from her.
He simply gave her a warm kiss then spoke again. '' I'll be right back ok? just need to change'' Kyriu said as he went into the bathroom.

Lakuri couldn't help but be giggly when Kyriu apologized for hugging her for so long. It was just so like him that it made her very happy.
"Its all right silly Kyriu, I love hugging you, you know that!" she said playfully.
Lakuri simply nodded when he said he was going to change clothes, like Lakuri had any complaint to that. she simply layed on the coucher with her head propped up on her arm, which was proppe up on the arm of the couch.
"Why am I so tttiirreedd??" she moaned to herself. For some reason this was randomly very frusterating for her. probably since she didn't want to be infront of Kyriu.... esspecially not after he had just gotten back.
Kyriu slowly closed the bathroom door and locked it. He didn't do anything at first he simply stood there for a while and remembered all the things that he had just done. His mind traveled to the strange heartbeat and suddenly realized what it was. Kyriu sat on the edge of the shower and buried his face in his hands. '' why do things like this happen to me?'' he thought as he stood up to look at himself in the mirror.
He suddenly banged his arm on the nearby wall out of complete frustration.
'' Is it so wrong for someone to want to live in peace? Why is it that something seems to complicate things for me?'' Kyriu thought to himself.
He he slowly slid down the wall in bitter defeat.
Instead of saying anything however he simply started weeping. He was able to contain any sound that tried to escape from his mouth. Aside from the fact that his second meetinh with V went horribly wrong due to the strange people in the cafe, now this. And worst of all...If he told Lakuri she might just think he's some type of freak.
Kyriu simply stayed there still trying to regain control of himself. He knew he would have to come out soon, but he just wasn't ready yet.
Surprisingly though he didn't have any panic attacks.
Kyriu was still unsure of what to do...he couldn't see any good options, at least not yet.

Surprisingly enough, despite her usual unwilling less, Lakuri nearly dozed off agian.... that is, until she heard a loud noise come from the bathroom, she made her jump.
Then she started hearing more noises.. that weren't exactly normal for chageing.... Lakuri got up and quckly walked over to the bathroom door.
"Kyriu are you alright?" she called out to him in a very worried tone. she was very scared that he might have slipped or somthing and hurt himself. But she figured shed at least ask first instead of going to the extreme... maybe he had just dropped somthing?
Kyriu quickly snapped back to reality when he heard Lakuri's voice. He had to get it together if he was going to tell her what was going on. He simply washed his face so he wouldn't look too suspicious. He then quickly changed so that he wouldn't look like he was doing something odd. Now the trick was coming out of the bathroom and talking to her, it was going to be hard.
'' You face a critical moment''
'' What do you want?'' Kyriu snapped back.
'' Be quiet and listen!!. Are going to remain a coward and refuse to face the difficulties in life? That will never change!! If one wants to win a battle, then one must fight!!......do not hide in same...If you truly love this woman you must be honest in your speech, now go forth!!'' Ryu said to Kyriu.
''' Now he's giving me speeches?'' Kyriu thought.
It was probably the biggest moment of his life.
'' Um..yeah one minute'' Kyriu said as he stepped out of the bathroom. He wasn't sure how to tell her without freaking her out though.

Lakuri sighed with relif when Kyriu came out of the bathroom. He looked alright to her, just possibly a bit tired, since his eyes were sort of red. "You scared me babe!" she said and then hugged him again. "I heard a loud noise and thought you might have gotten hurt. I'm sorry for bugging you." she said and then playfully ruffled up his hair a bit.
"You feeling alright?" she asked him curiously. "Cause you look a bit tired, maybe you should chill for a minute... afte all you just got back from where ever you went." she said happily
Kyriu was glad that she didn't suspect anything just yet. But it would soon be time for him to explain it to her. ''' Your probably right'' Kyriu said to her as he sat on the bed. He really wanted to tell her, but something still held his mouth shut. '' Speak up!!!! o r you shall lose this battle!!'' Ryu commanded. This put some more pressure on Kyriu but he knew what he had to do.
He took hold of both Lakuri's hands then made her sit down next to him. '' Um...Kuri I have to um....tell you... something . Well first of all I figured out what the problem was with my sword!!'' Kyriu said with a smile then continued. ''' It was a special sword you see I just figure it out today'' he said hoping that she was following.
Of course he didn't act sad or tired at all he appeared to be quite happy

Lakuri was getting a little bit worried when Kyriu said that he had to tell her somthing... but it wasn't just that... it was how he positioned himself..... this couldn't be very good....
Lakuri listened to what he had to say however.. an could only laugh, she wasn't extremly awaare that there was somthing wrong with it in the first place, but Kyriu apperently figured somthing cool out, cause he seemed excited.
"Your so rediciolus." she said playfully. "is that why you were gone for so long? because you were investigateing your sword?" For some reason Lakuri suddenly felt the need to Hug Kyriu agian. so she simply leaned over and did so. "I love you silly Kyriu." she said and looked up happily at him. She was perking up a bit now that she had astablished more that she had to be awake now.
Kyriu didn't completely like how things were going but he had to take it slow. He didn't want to scare Lakuri off, that would be bad. So instead he simply returned Lakuri's hug. '' I love you too, very much'' Kyriy said before continuing. '' Well I also found out that my sword a bit magical, which was weird seeing as how it seemed pretty normal. So a friend of mine examine it to see properly, and they discovered something.'' Kyriu said again hoping that Lakuri was following.
He stopped talking and kept quiet waiting for an answer.

Lakuri simply looked very confusedly at Kyriu. He was takeing this a little to slowly for it to be no big deal... and this really worried her. she linked up her fingers with Kyriu before she spoke to him.
"Thats pretty cool, now you can be all magicy like me." she said happily. But her mind started to wonder when she thought about where this was going.... Did he kill someone by accident or somthing? Cause, she could forgive him for that.... but she really didn't know... cause really anythin could come of this... all she had to do was keep calm and not let whatever it was affect her to badly, or surely, all hell would break loose.
Kyriu started feeling a little stupid all of the sudden. He didn't understand why he was being so secretive. He never lied to her before, and he wasn't about to do it now. He had to tell her sooner or later, so it was best that he stopped being so afraid. If she wasn't going to like him anymore, he would have to try and live with that.
Anything was better than lying to the person he carried for the most.
'' Um...no'' Kyriu started then stood up and faced Lakuri. '' I'm sorry for dragging it for so long, but here's what happened. My sword actually possessed the spirit of an aincent warrior. And for some reason.....he's now sharing my body'' Kyriu said to Lakuri expecting the worst.
If she wasn't going to be ok with this he would understand..but at least she would know the truth.
He couldn't bring himself to look at Lakuri because of how scared he was

Lakuri did not expect one bit to hear what Kyriu had to say... Howwas it even possible for that to happen.. How, Why, Why Kyriu? Why did this happen so suddenly... A million questions raced though her head....What was she suposed to do?! Lakuri imediatly got up and then ran to the door. That was it.... all of this was over. She had to run away... that was the only way she knew how to get away from her probblem.. was to run away! Now, her life was going to return back to how it was.... back to normal. Where everyone seemed to just hate her and use her.. and she had to steal things to survive. What had she even been thinking that anything could change. how coud she ever possibly find someone that she could be with... everything for her just constantly gets screwed up!
Lakuri grabbed the door knob and opened the door... but she had to look down to do so. Then, she caught a glance... of her neckace. This imediatly stopped her in her tracks. She knew what it had and possible still represented. Lakuri dropped to her knees and started sobbing. How could she leave all of this behind... it wouldn't even be possible for her... and even if she managed it... Lakuri.... didn't want to leave Kyriu... she still loved him, very much... but now there was someone else in his body as well... Lakuri sat and thought about this, next to the door, for some time. Could that really be worse than her previous life? Sure... it would definantly be a bit weird to deal with... but it couldn't be somthing that she couldn't get usd too.... and who knows.. maybe there was even a away to fix it.. and then she would just have Kyriu agian.... which is all she had wanted when she was without him, even for that short time... there was no possible way she coul leave him....
Lakuri then stood and without even thinking about it she ran back to Kyriu, and then hugged him as tight as she possibly could. "I'm sorry!!" she said as she sobbed into him. "I trired to run... but I can't do it. Kyriu I love you far to much to just leave you, even if it is a little weird that you have another person inside of you, I don't care!! I don't want to go back to how my life was before! Because you make me so happy an i feel safe to be around you!" she said and then started panting agian, because that whole time she haddn;t taken a single breath.
When she felt like she could talk agian, she started too. "Kyriu if you'll alow me too... I still want to stay here with you... and be your grilfiend." she said and hen finally went as quiet as she should when she was already sobbing.
Kyriu didn't expect Lakuri to suddenly run off like that, he thought about it but never expected it. That was it, he ruined everything. After everything that they had been through, and how loved each other..he had to tell her one thing to destroy everything. He couldn't move breathe think or do anything at all, in fact his right hand started shaking uncontrolablly. It wasn't long before Kyriu realized that he was about to reach his breaking point.
His mind traveled to the night his world was destroyed, and how everyone he knew died. He remembered the panic attacks he once had, and he even recalled his farther's disappointment in him. At that moment nothing was right for him, and his head felt heavy. How was he going to live his life now? He lost everything that meant something to him.
For a few seconds he felt his last moments of sanity summed up in memories summed up in 5 heartbeats.
1....everything he failed at.
2....everything he lost.
3...his weakness
4....the panic attacks that still haunted him.
The fithith beat never came as he suddenly felt Lakuri wrap her arms around him. At first he thought he was dreaming. But when he heard her voice he was convinced.
Kyriu held onto her hand then tired his best to speak.
'' N-nothing would make me happier Lakuri, I understand if feel that you have to go, but please please Lakuri Syaoran.....stay....'' Kyru said before passing out.
