In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Felicity gasped as the blade of the butcher knife spun farther than she had intended and knocked over the candle.
She was less worried about the candle when Chopsuey jumped up on the table and started to yell, his voice unlevel. "St-St-zzzzzz-STOP mehk-mehk-eengh fun of meh-m-mee! STOOPEED HUMAN!" His arms were back out and the weapons were leveled at her. He cursed and yelled in a language she could not understand and stuck one weapon right up next to her nose.
Felicity was very surprised, her eyes wide. She was caught between anger and fear as Experiment 621 began to laugh manically. If the novels she had read were any indication that was not a good sign.
HAHAHAHAHHAAAAA! SO THEN!!! HehHA! You theenk you cood mehk mee loook like an eedeeot? I HEHTE YOU! I HEHTE YOU! HEEEHEHEEE! I've beeen undermined ehnd deesreespected for TOO LONG! ..... HEARTLESS? MAGEEK? BAH! .... You are treateengh me like I ehm steel a leetle behby hehtchleengh ..... WEECH I'M NOT EHNY MORE!!! You treat me like meh FEHMEELY! Those stoopeed LOW LIVES!"
The creature waved one of his blasters around wildly and Felicity flinched as he shot a beam of light out towards his own ship. She had wondered what those could do and how much peril she was in. Now she had the answer and realized that this had been a worse idea than she had originally thought.
Her gaze was drawn back to Experiment 621 and then at the ship again. Four clouds of sooty smoke with drawn on faces had come from the ship and Felicity felt suddenly very worried.
"Oh looky here, eh few of those - what you call - HEARTLESS! Heheh!" said Chopsuey, his attention on them.
Felicity stared down at the butcher knife that had been knocked on the ground. Could she really use that to kill these things? She couldn’t fight smoke. She was not a fighter! Perhaps Ex-Chopsuey would deal with them with his weapons with the light beams. Maybe she wouldn’t have to defend herself.
She looked at the rabid experiment and decided that she should be better prepared next time she came to traverse town and not have to rely on the abilities of half mad furry creatures.
The heartless, if that's what they were spread out. One seemed to be heading for a lamp post and one stayed nearby to the ship as if uncertain whether it wanted to leave that spot. Felicity watched closely, waiting for the creatures to do something other than fly around. (we do them ourselves, or should a mod?)
621's twitching eyes spied out the one Possesor soaring overhead towards a lamp post. He merely growled at the orb of smoke before firing his blaster at it, still keeping one other blaster on Felicity's nose. The heartless managed to skillfully swerve its way around the green goopy plasma, but the misfire shot at and destroyed the lamp post that the heartless wanted.
The lone possesor now stared at Chopsuey and Felicity with empty yellow eyes, then the other three nearby the ship did the same ..... Chopsuey didn't like the looks of it ..... "Okeh, leetle human girl. I ehm STEEL hehteengh you for mockeengh me, but I weell need you alive ez a human shield." Chopsuey grabbed the girl by her hands and jumped over behind her, pointing one gun at her back, and another at the heartless. He peeked from behind her legs at the four masses of smoke, who were all making a swift charge towards Felicity ....
((I kind of trust you guys to play the heartless without help. If you really want it, I can - though it's kind of Tifa's turf, not mine - but you're free to do it yourself.))
(either way.) So much for the creature dealing with the other creatures.
Chopsuey was hiding behind her skirts like a small child. Grr. Felicity didn’t like it when human children did that! Her opinion of Chopsuey was plummeting. He couldn’t even hit one of the smokey heartless. If she baked cookies he would get none.
No more being nice. Felicity grabbed the candle stick and threw it at the heartless. She spun, kicking Chopsuey into a table and grabbed one of his weapons. One two three blasts at one of the creatures and it seemed to wobble.
Come on. Come on! thought Felicity and took aim again. All of the creatures were approaching. She needed to know that this thing could kill them. She took one more shot.
(she could have grabbed a blaster with his hand still on it or he could still be on the ground and have dropped one. If it doesn’t seem plausible I’ll work on something else.)
(Yeah, whatever u want Serif. However, it wud prob'ly be more fun with someone else playing the heartless)
Chopsuey was flung head-first right into a table, easily snapping one of its legs in half and knocking it down. His head didn't hurt much, but it was still enough of a shock to make the little alien growl while rubbing his skull. "Grrr ... Stoopeed human! I'LL Tehk care of you!" He yelled while leaping back up on his feet.
The green experiment clasped his right hand as if he were grasping a weapon, and aimed at the girl's back ..... but immediatley gasped in surprise as he realized Felicity had stolen the gun from that hand! Not only that, but she was succesfully blasting away a Possesor heartless! Felicity was very amateurish with the shots, but she was still good enough to keep one of the heartless at bay ....
As the heartless advanced, Chopsuey's first insinct was to use this distraction as an oppurtunity to jump at the girl and steal back his gun. However, he stopped himself upon seeing the one weakened Possesor flee back to the experiment's ship and disappear into its red, metallic side. A gurgled snarrl was all he could express when his ship's own rapid-fire laser blaster was activated! What was truly disturbing was that the gun was slightly modified into some kind of twisted, demon face, pointed at Felicity and Chopsuey.
"Keep fire-eengh, woman!" The experiment yelled while readying to aim at the now heartless-possesed blaster. "Yoiks!" He suddenly felt himself pulled up in mid-air! One of the more agile Possesors had grebbed hold of him! The shadowy orb notably smiled as Chopsuey groaned in enough pain to make him drop his remaining gun. The experiment was slowly being drained of his strength ....
The wounded heartless made a retreat into the ship. Felicity tried to fire at it once more as she was sure it was on it’s last legs, so to speak and she had a bad feeling about letting it reach its destination, but she missed.
Felicity glanced around. Chopsuey was up. He seemed torn between going after her and going after their real adversaries. He finally aimed at his own ship which she now noticed had a face a face that seemed to remind her of the weapon she held. Felicity decided that if it was anything like the weapon she held in her hand, given the size it was certainly something to worry about.
Oh, no. One of the creatures had gotten close and was… attacking chopsuey? He seemed to be in pain. His features twisted even more so than what she had come to view as normal in her brief acquaintance with him. No time for that. Felicity shot three shots at the second heartless and five at the third to keep them at bay. Only two of the three shots landed on the second and two on the third.
Oh! Felicity stomped her foot. Darn! Good thing that didn’t count, she hadn’t said it out loud. She was getting worse not better.
Felicity glanced back at Chopsuey who was a looking a pale, well, whatever color he normally was and at the three heartless in front of her. One of which, was apparently the ship and looked just about to shoot. They needed to get up the steps or into the buildings but Felicity couldn’t figure out how to attend to Chopsuey. If she grabbed him, would the creature do to her what it was doing to him? She considered leaving him and then dismissed the idea as silly.
Hm, what to do? She wasn’t comfortable shooting the creature and the two free heartless were approaching again. She held out the weapon and shot wildly. (one shot landed on the third heartless .)She pulled out the hilt of her grandfather’s butcher knife and, with barely a thought as to how preposterous this was, stabbed the creature with the broken bit of blade still attached. The heartless turned to her and she stabbed it again this time jerking the blade, what there was of it, down and bringing it back up so that she made an x. The heartless disappeared.
Felicity grabbed Chopsuey’s hand, took two shots at the three remaining heartless. One of the shots hit the second heartless and one hit the possessed ship which was fortunate since it seemed about to fire.
Felicity noted none of this and dragged Chopsuey along behind her up the stairs into Sid’s accessory shop the one remaining heartless, save the ship at her heels. The ship finally got off a shot, hitting right side of the stairs where they had been only moments ago and blackening the steps( I don’t remember how powerful the blaster is but I think these are really tough steps. I'm pretty sure you're weak enough to be dragged. If not, tell me.)
(I was going with four blaster shots to kill a possessor heartless. I have no idea about the ship)
(i suppose no response for what, a month? was my answer.)
Felicity stared down at Chopsuey and only just managed not to make a face. This little one had threatened her and tried to use her as a shield. More than that, he had acted so tough and then proved that he didn’t know how to deal with anything. She stared down at the blaster speculatively and then set it down beside the stunned creature. She wouldn’t have theft on her conscience but she didn’t think the creature deserved much from her. She’d already rescued him. She had done so because she did not abandon a person in danger, no matter how rude or treacherous, not because of any obligation she felt towards him as a person worth saving.
Felicity carefully stepped to the door. It didn’t matter that those creatures probably couldn’t hear her, she felt better doing so, and carefully, slowly opened the door an inch. They were still there, or the ship was. Felicity gulped and slammed the door.
She thought it out and looked down at herself, her torn dress. She adjusted the hilt of her butcher knife, well, hilt really and then grabbed Chopsueys’ other blaster and opened the door, shooting at the ship. It was a large target so it was hard to miss. She managed eight shots and ran for it. Chopsuey was on his own.
