In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

( Welcome kero to you're firsty thread i shll helps u muchly as i can!)
Agianst Lakuri's better judgement, earlier she had decided to go off by herself, but only for a little while... nothing could be bad this time.... right? It had definantly been a while since Lakuri was out by herself... it was kind of weird. The darkness of Traverse Town seemed to be a bit more scary without Kyriu.
But it was ok. As long as Lakuri stayed in the first district she would be safe. no scary heartless!
She was started to get a little tried of walking around, so she decided to stop and take a break. There didn't seem to be that many people around so no one would really care if she sat a little weird. She Originally had tried leaning agianst a wall and sit up like any normal person; but.. Lakuri is no normal person! so she ended up slidding sideways until she was looking up at the sky and laying on her back.
She stayed like this for a bit, then a thought came accross her mind. I should really be getting back... Kyrii is probably worried. She was about to get up... but then her body failed her and wouldn't alow it...somewhere in her mind... she really didn't want to move.
Mari sat, staring blankly up at the night sky. the lights from the first district of traverse town dimmed the stars a bit, but she had found a quiet corner to herself, and was enjoying the cold air.
She was perched on a the roof of a building, dangling her feet off of the edge. she thought back on the day. It hadn't been too bad, if you didn't count the butcher's aim.
He had caught her trying to steal bits of bacon from his shop and had nearly taker her head off with a carving knife before she had managed to ump a wall and escape. careless... she thought since when do I get myself caught? Oh well, she supposed she would have to work on her methods.
She looked down, and to her surprise she saw a figure in what she had thought was a deserted street. it made its way slowly down before slumping against a wall. Mari was about to leave, her peace disturbed, when the figure suddenly slumped all the way down till it was on its back.
Odd.... she thought, people don't normally lay in the middle of streets. She considered the figure. Quite small, probably female, maybe drunk, based on her posture. and drunk people made easy targets for robberies.
Mari slid carefully down the wall and dropped soundlessly to the ground, creeping closer to investigate the state of her unknowing companion.

( kuri + drunk... oh jesus that would b insane XD )
Lakuri was still battleing with herself on wheteher or not to get up, when she had an odd feeling come accross her... There had been no one around before... but suddenly she felt as if she was being watched. Quite a creepy feeling. She looked around and saw no one, then closed her eyes, to try and get the feeling to go away.
When she opened them agian.. it was still there.... maybe it would be better to get up now... Lakuri didn't need anything weird to happen! She lifted her head and started to push herself off of the ground when she then saw someone behind her. This caused Lakuri to jump up and quickly turn around, quite frightened. But she saw that it was only a person and called a bit down... although, this girl was quite intimidateing, being that she was at the very least half a foot taller than Lakuri.
"Hi there." she said, still feeling a bit jumpy. "You nearly scared me to death!" Lakuri said and then started to straighten out her dress since she was now standing.
( *stares* oh dear I feel quite small now compared to your posts)
Traverse town was always so pleasant. Nothing much was troubling the simple people, they continued about their lives as usual. The only odd thing that the towns people were worried about was the boy walking down the street holding a katana. His hair was tied upwards which looked strange to some, his blue eyes and fast paced walking didn't help his image either.
Before any of this happened Kyriu was sitting at home, but he couldn't help but worry about Lakuri. His mind told him that she would be fine, his heart wouldn't let him rest though. After several failed attempts of walking outside due to complete fear, his body was once again taken over.
Every woman, man, elder, and child was questioned about the pink girl's whereabouts. Anyone who decided to act foolish enough to make fun of the boy, or waste his time found themselves on the floor. Those that did waste him time however, usually looked like trouble makers.
'' I was going to go look for her obviously!''
'' Silence!! this is not the time for arguments''
'' I'm just-''
'' I will not sit by as you cower in a house!!''
The conversation ended there as the boy kept walking though the streets eventually reaching an area where the streets were quite empty. It was very quite here and no one was around except two figures.
He easily made out Lakuri's shape yet there was another person with her. He already knew that several people were probably irritated with him, and would possibly pose a threat...this however didn't stop him.
He continued walking in his usual fast pace until he stopped directly behind the two.
'' You know I really think that I could handle this better'' Kyriu thought wishing that he left the house before this happened.
Ryu simply analyzed the woman who was taller than Kyriu.
Instead of saying anything he simply folded his arms in a similar fashion to when he first had to deal with Lakuri.
He remained silent still standing behind both of them.
Mari jumped, she had not expected the girl to move that quickly, and how had she known Limari was behind her? The average person wouldn't have even seen her until she was breathing down thier necks.
"well.." thought Mari, "I suppose this puts an end to my hopes of an easy, drunken robbery." still, who was this strange girl who lay in the middle of streets at night, seemingly harboring the same ability for stealth and sense as mari had gained from her years of mischief and thieving in her old world?
Limari, however, asked the girl none of this, keeping her curiosities in her head. She instead chose to say "So I suppose your not drunk then? Dang, and I had thought you an easy target. Ah well, sorry I startled you, guess I should go now."
She once again had just turned to leave when her eyes widened, another figure, this time a male one, though not a particularly tall one, slipped down the street to stand just behind the girl, glaring at mari.
They made an odd pair, those two, if they did in fact know eachother. The girl with her bright green eyes, similar to mari's own, had brown hair and obnoxious amounts of pink adorning her body. The man also had short brown hair and bright blue eyes piercing her under his brows. he however, lacked the colorful appearance of the girl, and the katana in his hand made mari measure him a bit more carefully.
Now her curiosities about these people got the better of her and suddenly her body would no longer move away. "Hullo there," she said to the boy, " and who are you, her prince charming, coming to rescue her from little old me?" she had a sense that it was probably best not to reveal her ability to fight and use magic to this knew sword-bearing stranger. He looked to be a formidable opponent.

Lakuri simply laughed, Drunk? Lakuri had never even tried alchohol before, reason being that she wasn’t old enough. But Even then… she didn’t really think it would taste good… since it smelled very weird. The other thing that the tall girl said however, made Lakuri a bit more caution of her…. A target.. for what exactly… and what did that have to do with being drunk!? This seemed awfuly shady too her…
"No no, I'm not drunk" she said and smiled. "I'm not even old enough to drink silly." she said... Lakuri needed to seem friendly, although she was still being cautious... but there wasalso somthing about this grl.. that made her very curious, and agianst better judgement... she didn't really want her to leave just yet. She was about to say something to her, when she suddenly heard her speak again.. but not to her. Lakuri peeked around the tall girl and saw that she was speaking too… none other Then Kyriu! Although.. he seemed a bit strange. She simply stared at him for a bit, until she could tell what was up. By looking at how he was presenting himself, and a quick glance at his eye color, she knew that it was Ryu, and not Kyriu. The question was… what was he doing here??
The second thing that the girl said to him made her laugh. If it was Kyriu then what she said… would have almost been spot on. But since it was Ryu… it just made her laugh.
Lakuri shook her head and then spoke. "What are you doing here Ryu?" She asked This really did confuse her... She looked at his face, which seemed a bit angrey. She walked up to him and patted his head lightly and smiled. "Lighten up silly Ryu, you look like your going to kill the next person that says a word to you." She said and then turned her attention back to the taller girl. “ What is your name by the way?” she asked still with her same friendly smile.
Kyriu remained quiet after hearing the woman's comment, and Lakuri's laugh made it worse. Now that he thought about it, maybe it was best that Ryu was handling this. Once Lakuri patted Ryu's head it merely increased his irritation. It seemed that Lakuri was unaware of what she did....no matter something else had upset him. He once again started looking at the woman still not changing his position.
'' Maybe I shoul-''
'' Quiet!'' Ryu said suddenly. He then grasped his weapon and started walking towards the woman still looking as upset as ever. He stopped directly in front of her then folded his arms once again.
'' Committing and act of thievery on an unsuspecting person........a despicable act! Have you no same! Or do you lack all sense of morality!?'' Ryu said to her.
To him even an attempted robbery was a serious crime.
Mari stood rather awkwardly while the girl teased the boy. How could she be so openly goofy? It made Mari embarrassed and frustrated just to watch her. And it surprised her further when the girl turned and asked for her name. Perhaps she had the same curiosity about Mari as Mari had about her?
Mari was intensely interested in anyone who might have the same background as her, one of rejection and thieving for a living. Since she lost Russet, her only friend in Meright (her old world), she had been searching for another with which to share that same bond, and while the pink girl seemed a bit to perky, she decided she should stick around.
"My name is Limari Edenest" she said cooly, "and may I inquire what you-" she didn't get any farther that before the boy stepped in and interrupted, standing right in front of mari gripping his sword.
His words were so filled with contempt they hit mari like a slap. How dare he talk to her this way? She stepped closer to him so that she towered over him and swung her staff in lazy circles in her hands, "Don't you lecture me about morals," she hissed at him " I have my morals, even if I am just a thief. I wouldn't have stolen from your girlfriend here if she had had barley anything, and I wouldn't have taken all her money either. I only steal from people ho have enough to live on already. And as for being unsuspecting, I had thought she was drunk, in which case it would have been her own stupid fault for presenting herself as an easy target. And I kindof have to steal to live seeing as I have nothing myself." that last part wasn't completely true, even if she had enough to live, she still would love the thrill of stealing from people to greedy to give anything away, which from her perspective, was alot of them. She loved any form of adventure or rebellion.
She didn't back away from the boy, in fact she kindof wished he would challenge her, because she wanted an excuse to hit him.

Hearing what Ryu has said to the girl made Lakuri... acctually very angrey. Because what he said to the girl, also applied to Lakuri as well, and she didn't want to sit her and listen to Ryu being a compleate jerk.
Then, she heard what the girl had said. For starters, her name was Limari, which amused Lakuri because they names sounded extremly similar. Then somthing that had really come of no surpirse was the next thing she had said, that she was a theif, cause as Lakuri is. Yet agian, she did find it hilarious that Limari would have tried to rob her, Lakuri had no money or anything of any value on her in the first place, there was nothing tooo steal. This fact however, only made Lakuri madder at what Ryu had said.
" Ryu, stop being a hypocritical jerk." she said and placed her hands on her hips and nearly glared at him. then she turned her atention, agian to Limari. "Nice to meet you Limari, my nme is Lakuri." she said and then looked back at Ryu for a moment, still mad about what he had said. "And he isn't my Boyfriend, hes just someone I must deal with from time to time." she said then looked to see his reaction out of the corner of her eye.
" And just so you know Limari, stealing from me would be quite pointless. Because you see, I am a theif as well... and I don't have anything on me to steal." she said and smiled. "We seem to be we are in sort of the same situation, exept I think you definantly have more morals than I do." she had said the last part a little louder than the others so that Ryu would obviously hear it.
Ryu simply kept staring at the two of them. He kept quiet for quite some time, a normal person however would have their jaw on the floor. Firstly he didn't like having to have to babysit Lakuri, and unfortunately he had to put up with her until Kyriu was quite happy...the way things were going he didn't think that would happen soon.
'' Ha Ha! Nice''
Cancel that , nevermind Kyriu this was irritating him therefore he would deal with this his way. Since he got here the only person who showed him the proper respect was Shira he wondered where she wondered off too. Now wasn't the time for day dreaming!! he still had to deal with this matter.
He completely ignored Lakuri's display and turned his attention back to the woman.
'' Such impudence! There is no excuse for thievery! Every belonging whomever it may belong to has history with it's owner. You may see them as just items......but to rip them away from their owners grasp, the arrogance!'' he stopped to give Lakuri a sharp glare.
'' Even If the act is committed have some form of regret.....would you take a child from from it's mother's arms!!!'' The same apply to each and every thing a person owns.'' Ryu said getting quite irritated.
Mari smiled impishly as Lakuri, she now knew that that was the pink girls name, came to her defense. She supposed it wasn't really done on her account so much as it was for lakuri to protect herself, but it still made her feel less alone.
"pink girl actually has some backbone." Mari thought as she heard what lakuri had to say to her swordsman friend.
She was just getting a little smug when the annoying swordsman started talking again. Mari sighed, there was just no consoling this guy. She let her anger go, it would probably be better to be rational.
"fine, think what you want, but I do have morals and scruples, whether you choose to think so or not. And I do feel shame, just not as much as you, mr. Holier-than-thou, seem to think I should. I'm not gonna let my shame consume me and I'm not gonna let you shame me about stealing for a living." Mari exhaled and, with some effort, turned away from the swordsman and back to Lakuri.
"So," she said casually, " you were a thief once? Be choice or just because of circumstances? Personally, I take a little guilty joy in stealing money from people who have alot, but that's probably just because of where I come from."

Lakuri made a fist with her right hand as Ryu still spoke to Limari like that, because still, Lakuri took this sort of offensivly as well. "SHUT UP RYU!" she yelled at him. She noticed that he was also glareing as well which was quite scary... so she did really the only thing she could think of to get him to stop... she slapped him.
"I know that stealing is wrong, no matter the circumstance, but everyone has there own reasons for doing it. and guess what buddy. If I wasn't a theif then I wouldn't be alive, which would make you're sitiation a bit more difficult, don'tcha think? So even if it is bad, you shouldn't be so damn hard on us!" she yelled and then simply stared at him for a few more minutes, with tears starting to fill her eyes. "I.. I hate you ryu!!" she said and then turned around, and crossed her arms. She didn't want to have to deal with him anymore.
after a few minutes, She heard Limari ask her somthing. She whiped her eyes and then looked up at her, she took a deep breath before speaking. "I still am acctually, just not as much anymore. but its by circumstance. I don't really like stealing... but its just how i was raised since I was about six years old.. If I didn't steal things I would be killed... so its really the only way I know how to live..." she said a bit more calmy then she had been speaking to Ryu, lthough she was still upset.. even thouh it wasn't quite angrey upset.
Everything happened so fast. One minute the woman was finally accepting reality the next Ryu was suddenly slapped by Lakuri. This was completely unexpected, so much that he lost his footing and fell down. He did manage to hear every word Lakuri said but somehow when he attempted to stand up he fainted instead. One thing was for sure he had no idea why she did that, but it did make him think about what he did.
Kyriu body laid there not moving for a while then suddenly without warning sat up suddenly. He looked around at the two people in front of him then suddenly felt a stinging pain on his cheek. ''' OWWWWWWWWW, remind me not to make you mad mad Kuri.'' Kyriu said then rubbed his cheek.
Once that was said he managed to stand up despite the redness and pain of his cheek. '' She really knows how to slap people my whole head feels numb, I'll be lucky if I'm able to[/color] move tomorrow.'' Kyriu thought.
He turned his attention to the surprisingly tall woman that was next to Lakuri. He walked till he was directly in front of her, then simply bowed his head in front of her. This did completely scare him since he was afraid of being hit with her stick.
'' I-I'm s-sorry miss Limari. If you steal things you must have a good reason, people can't be judged based on their actions alone. I'm very sorry for any offence miss'' Kyriu said still not lifting his head.
If he stayed there any longer than he would fall over. He just stayed there expecting to feel something come down on his head and break it.
Mari stood, a little suprised by the Lakuri's suddenn outburst of emotion. Mari had barley finished her statement about ignoring Ryu, that, apparently, was the swordsmans name, when Lakuri had exploded at him. Mari supposed she did have a more personal connection and thus a more justifyable reason for acting like that but did she really have to be so teary and emotional about it? It was giving mari a headache just listening to her. How could she stand to be so transparent about her feelings?
Mari was suprised when the man fainted, he seemed a little to tough for that, and to her further suprise, when she asked Lakuri her questions the pink girl answered like she didnt even care that there was an unconsious man behind her.
So, lakuri had had to steal from a young age too huh? Mari wondered if she had come from the same situation as her, though from the way she said "or be killed" mari though it might mean forced againt her will. aqh well, whatever it was, it wasnt really her place to intrude further.
she was about to ask if they should do something about the fainted swordsmkan when he sat up, said something suprisingly friendly and went over to mari and bowed. bowed...after he ahd just been so hostile.
Mari was further confused when he started speaking. what the hell was wrong with this kid? bipolar maybe? nah, seemed to extreme for that. he sounded like he had two people inside of him, but as far as Mari knew there was no magic that could do that, unless it was very old magic....
"what's the matter with you?" she asked the bowing swordsman, a bit flustered and extremely confused by his sudden....shyness? he seemed to be afriad of her now. "I thought you hated me for stealing" she pushed his head up with her index finger, and motioned for him to step back a bit, his closness invading her space a bit. she wasnt sure whether she liked the old him or the new him better.

(kero is on the hyperness, dun mind heeerr XD)
Lakuri was still being upset and sniffly until she heard one thing that made her perk up agian. From behind her.. she heard.. the name Kuri... Now Ryu didn't call her that... that was just.. KYRIU! Knowing that he was back made her very, very excited. She was about to plainly tackle Kyriu since she was so excited... but when he started bowing infront of Limari, she knew she had to leave him alone for the moment. She heard him speak and knew for a fact, this was definantly Kyriu.
However, Limari's reaction, made Lakuri protectivenes of Kyriiu kick in a bit. SHe could really careless and Ryu and what would be done with him.. but Kyriu... that one was her boyfriend and she wasn't going to let anyone else change that. She as Limari lifted his head, Lakuri casually slipped her hand onto his so that she could hold it. Unlike Limari, she quite enjoyed haveing Kyriu close, which probably was a good thing. Lakuri did keep quiet though.. she was going to just alow Limari and Kyrii to tlk a bit before she started too... it seemed sort of rude to just interupt anyways... even though she really wanted to apologize to Kyriu for his cheek that was now in pain. Since she felt bad, she simply lightly traced a heart shape with her thumb on his. Lakuri really needed to stop being so darn girly somtimes....
