In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Luna had just told her parents the horrible news about her older brother Mick. She had to suffer tears from her mother and the taken back look of her fater. And now she was going to leave home again in the middle of the night. This time however she decided to leave a small note saying she was leaving; unlike last time where she just left without a word.
Luna quietly closed her front door. Her neginata was strapped to her back like it should have been and her long hair was pulled up. She backed away slowly from the shop and looked out at Traverse Town. It was dark where the dim lights didn't reach. For her it was a good way to leave without being noticed.
But at the same time it wasn't the most safest thing in the world. Heartless, even thought it was very few, still roamed around at night. Luna wasn't scared of that. Her calm battle nature would kick in and things would level out. The only thing that worried her was getting caught by her parents as she left without saying goodbye for the second time.
Insomnia plus living underground for a while makes someone like the night. Saxen had both of these. He had come to Traverse Town on word of a quest, and he, being who he was, had decided to come early to look around. He was leaning on a wall in the First District when he heard some very light footsteps. He looked in their direction and saw a girl about his age sneaking out of a house with a sword strapped to her back. She looked like she was worried about getting caught, but it didn't look like she was stealing anything. He decided to keep track of her. He climbed up the wall of the building he was leaning on and quietly followed her from the rooftops. He wanted to make sure that she stayed out of trouble. People sneaking out of houses in the middle of the night is usually cause for concern.
Luna had stopped for a moment. Something about this didn't sit well with her. She knew her parents weren't up yet, so it had to be something else. She looked around the allyway she was in. What she saw wasn't people. Nope, a few heartless happened to sneak up on her and surouned her.
Luna pulled her neginata and got ready. "Looks like I should be more carefull when doing this..." she whispered to herself. She had both hands on the weapon and held it behind her. She didn't seem worried in the slightest bit. Luna let out a small sigh and waited for the heartless to move first.
As Saxen was watching the girl, he saw some heartless pop up. "Dang heartless..." he thought as he jumped down to help the girl. He drew his gold sword and his wieghted-tipped, curved sword and started to attack the heartless. As there were only a few and he was bonded with Deathblade, he was able to dispatch them rather quickly. Even though the heartless were gone, he didn't let his guard down. He was used to fighting a lot more than a few heartless.
"Are you okay?" he asked the girl. "I'm Saxen, and you are?" He waited for a response before continuing. "What are you doing out this late?" He put the curved sword back onto his back and slid the gold sword back onto his right hip, but he kept his right hand on his katana, just in case more heartless showed up.
Luna looked at Saxen. She didn't expect for someone else to come in and kill all the heartless. Her calm express turn a bit cold as she thought for a moment. "You didn't have to come and kill them for me. I could have done it myself." She looked to the side for a moment to make sure no more heartless were trying to sneak up on them. "I'm Luna."
She sighed and put her weapon on her back again. She looked up at him with a blank stare. "I'm trying, or rather I tried, to sneak out of my house without being noticed. The question here is why are you here out at this time?"
"I'm trying, or rather I tried, to sneak out of my house without being noticed. The question here is why are you here out at this time?"
So, she was leaving home. "I couldn't sleep and I saw these heartless, so I decided I'd get in on it. Sorry if you didn't want my help." He answered her question quite plainly and responded with a couple of his own. "So why are you sneaking out of your house? Where are you going? If you want, I'll go with you to the gate. Everyone needs company." As he talked, he relaxed his grip on his weapon and put his hand back at his side. He adjusted his weapons to more comfortable positions and started to walk around a little bit, staying close to Luna.
Up on the roof tops, blue eyes watched the strange person defeat the heartless. He growled quietly. Anything with a weapon was a threat to him. This was the probably the last thing the experiment would expect in the night. The little experiment was walking on the rooftops, staying away from everyone, looking for his Ohana. Then he saw the girl sneaking out of the house as he walked by on his six legs. He decided to stop and watch. That was why he was there.
The humans seemed interesting, maybe he could follow them to see what they were going to do... He didn't like this Saxen human for some reason. Maybe he was keeping one of his cousins in a cell. If he did, he would rescue his family, no matter what.
He liked seeing in the dark. No one could see him, but he could see everyone. He wanted to keep it that way. He simply stood there in the shadows, waiting for the humans to move...
Luna sighed and started to walk aawy from him. "I'm sneaking out of my house because I need to. I'm going somewhere not here. And you can walk where ever you want, I can't stop you." She glanced around the corner quickly before she coninued to move. "But why do you want to follow me? I don't think more heartless are coming anytime soon..." Something cought her eye on the roof. Luna looked up but didn't see anything so she continued to walk in the dim lit city.
Saxen listened to Luna, and when she finished, he heard some footsteps from a small creature. He dismissed it as a squirrel or something, but there was something odd about it. It sounded like it had six feet. He still ignored it. He kept walking with her. "I want to follow you because you're the only person I know here and I thought you might want some company as you start your journey. Besides, I'm sure you could deal with any heartless." Saxen started to think about what had just happened. Something had to have happened for her to leave home. He had left because he had been kicked out, but he would have left anyways. This didn't seem like the same situation. She seemed like she was either leaving to prove something or to find something. "I'll ask later," he thought.
The experiment listened as the two humans talked. The conversation sounded interesting. It looked like the female had a secret... What was it? "It better not about my cousins..." he thought. The blue eyes watched the female leave. It was now time to follow. Wait, it looked like the male wanted to follow the female. Hmm... What was he up to...? Maybe he wanted to take her far away and hurt her? Well, he didn't want that to happen, because maybe the female's secret had to do something with his cousins, if he did that, he would never find out. He silently started to walk on his six legs on the rooftops, following the strange people.
Luna stopped. The feeling of being watched was starting to bug her. She glanced back at Saxen. "Do you feel like you're being watched right now? I can't tell if it's bad or good right now." She looked around again. Her eyes shifted up to the roof tops and scanned them. She couldn't see anything again. "So Saxen...am I really the only person you met here? Or is there someone else you aren't telling me about?"
Saxen saw Luna stopped and so he stopped. He was just about to ask what was wrong when she answered that for him.
"Do you feel like you're being watched right now? I can't tell if it's bad or good right now."
Saxen thought about it for a minute. The only other thing he'd heard was the six-legged squirrel that he wasn't really sure about. "If we were being followed, I'd hear their footsteps. The only thing that I've heard is some small, six legged creature. It may have been following us, but I haven't been paying enough attention to it." He watched her look around and decided to do a quick scan of the area. He went a little too quickly and totally missed the creature.
"So Saxen...am I really the only person you met here? Or is there someone else you aren't telling me about?"
Saxen laughed a little at the second part of her question, but answered it plainly. "Yeah, you're the only person that I've met here. The only other person that I know is here doesn't really count, because he came with me. We share this body most of the time. It's a little bit wierd, but we got used to it." He felt very strange trying to explain the connection between him and Deathblade, but he wasn't going to lie. He kept his ears open to listen for any unwanted guests, especially after what Luna had said about being watched.
(Okay, so I'm gonna make my last post before I leave, then he will keep following them, but don't find him yet till I get back(Monday), otherwise you guys will have to wait till I post again. P.S. Splodyhead is on the roof tops, not on the streets. You probably know that though. Anyways, it would be hard for a person to see a creature on top of the buildings.)
"If we were being followed, I'd hear their footsteps. The only thing that I've heard is some small, six legged creature. It may have been following us, but I haven't been paying enough attention to it."
Hmm... It seemed that the male knew that he was there... How? It was a puzzle. Though, he didn't care. He wanted to find his cousin, that was it. He just hoped they wouldn't find him yet.
Then they stopped. What now? They were probably looking for him... Though, he doubted that they would find him. It was far too dark to see him. Oh well... When they would move, he would follow. He just hoped they would move soon.
Luna dismisted it. She had to keep moving but need to find things around the town first. Things that she knew that were conected to her brother. Even if it was in some small way she still need to look at it. Her first place was in the middle of town.
It was one of her favorite places to go with her brother to watch others fight one another. He had always loved to take her down whenever they could. It was here that Luna wanted to find a clue as to why her beloved older brother Mick went the way he did.
She looked around the dimly light town and sighed. "It doesn't matter....Anyone would come here and watch..."
