In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

It was another dull day in Traverse Town and Brendan a young warrior wielding two Katanas was getting rather bored, he had been slacking off his training for a while and he decided to visit the second district and hone his skills, maybe even find a sparring partner or two. He had been staying at the hotel which was reasonably comfortable though the room service was very poor, since there was nobody working there anymore, due to contsant heartless attacks but it was still open for residents who were brave enough to enter.
Brendan put on his clothes and gathered his equipment and shiethed his katanas and strapped the shieths onto his back, he left the hotel with a confident smile on his face as usual he was ready for some serious training. He stepped outside into the cool night air and drew a katana, as he expected when he leaped into the center of the district several Neo-Shadow heartless appeared four of them to be exact, and several Soldiers.
Brendan smirked as two of the Neo Shadow's leaped at him with their claws beared, he rolled sideways and bent backwards until his hands touched the ground and then kicked both of the Neo-shadows into the wall near the hotel. Then the other two Neo-shadows attempted to strike him down while his feet were still in the air, but Brendan was too quick he spun around while balancing on one hand and kicked both of the neo-shadows into eachother and they vanished.
After executing his acrobatical attack he flipped up to a standing position and dashed towards the remaining soldiers, he was only using one katana and swiftly took them out with a few agile and quick slashes. There were only two of the neo-shadows left now those of which he kicked eariler he ran towards them and then threw his katana like a boomerang, the blade struck them down and Brendan won the battle he felt himself get slightly stronger as he reached for his blade.
"Looks like I still got it, I wonder if their's anyone strong around? maybe if I stick around long enough surely someone skilled will show up, in the meantime i'll keep training." Said Brendan looking thoughtful but then resumed training by practicing with his katanas, and developing new combinations.
Shira leaned against a lamp post, as she looked at her surroundings. Finally V allowed her to come out, and was now able to have some time to herself, since V always sleeps when switching over.
She sighed, "Man...I'm bored..." she thought.
Who could blame her? There was nothing to do in this world, and for some reason the heartless were just not as active as they usually were today. She closed her eyes, at least she was by herself. No one to bother her...how wrong she was.
Suddenly she heard the sound of metal not to far away, she looked towards where the sound was commong from. And to her surprised saw a man killing some heartless that had suddenly shown up. She watched in awe as the man skillfully attacked the heartless, his technique and skills were quite impressive from what she could see.
Instantly, Shira had a strange feeling for some reason she was really excited now. Did she finally find that person that she'd hoped to fight? Her excitment grew, at the thought of her dream actually happening. Unfortunately, her thoughts were cut short for at that moment a Neo-shadow appeared in front of her.
Surprised, Shira jumped to the side trying to get some distance from the heartless. She quickly then flashstepped behind the Neo-Shadow, and taking out her scythe sliced it in half.
The heartless, then disappeared and as it did Shira began to relax. A big mistake. Cause as Shira was about to turn around, about 6 other Neo-Shadows appeared. "great..." Shira thought, "more weaklings."
She sighed, then closing her eyes waited for the Neo-shadows to make their move. At first the heartless just stood there, but then gaining the courage three of them jumped at her, their claws extended. Shira then opened her eye's, and twisting her body around, did a 360 slicing the heartless into bits.
She then charged at the rest of the heartless, dodging all of their worthless attacks Shira slashed at them one by one until they were finally all gone. Shira smirked, "well that gave me some entertainment at least..." she said letting out a short chuckle.
When Brendan retrieved his katana which he had thrown at the last two remaining Neo-shadows, he didn't notice that more heartless appeared nearby he was completely unaware until he heard the sound of a scythe slicing a heartless into peices. He turned around with his blade at the ready but the threat was already taken care of by a mysterious girl, who he had never met before.
He was impressed by how quickly she took them out and had rarely seen someone wield a scythe with proficiancy and skill, despite how heavy the weapon must've been she seemed to handle it with ease, it would be interesting to see how well her strength could match up to his speed.
With a curious look in his eye Brendan approached the girl lowering his weapon to slightly but not completely in case she decided to attack, it wasn't that he was afraid to fight the fact was that he didn't want to lower his guard, so if she did attack he would be ready for it.
When he was close enough he smiled and said in a casual and friendly tone of voice.
"Hey there it seems your pretty good at using that scythe I personally prefer using lighter weapons, but were all different I suppose." He smirked as he introduced himself.
"My name's Brendan, what bring's you here?." He began twirling his katana while waiting for her response.

Shira was surprised, she had not expected the mysterious man to start talking to her. She smiled, and just like the man was doing with his katana, she twirled her scythe around extending it away from her so that she wouldn't get hit.
"I was bored..." she replied, she then stopped twirling her scythe and putting it back in it's holding place, walked towards the stranger.
She extended her hand towards him, "Im Shira..." she said, "Nice to meet you Brendan."
( hope no one minds If I join I couldn't resist, u can kick me out if u want though)
It had been quite a while and Ryu needed some fresh air, and since Kyriu was sleeping, there was no better time. He walked though the streets, and decided to remain hidden until he felt like moving again. The swordsman simply placed himself against an alleyway wall and remained there.
The sound of a drawn blade woke him however, he watched the male, and familiar female dispatch heartless. What other way to spend his time then to instruct them? He removed Kyriu's tie and used it to require his usual Samurai hair style. The only reason he kept Kyriu's usual hair was to walk around without a fuss.
He stepped out of the ally and started walking towards the two.
Instead of saying anything he almost passed them before stopping suddenly. '' Skilled as always Shira.'' he said then turned sharply to address the man.
'' You have potential, but you left yourself open for attack, this shows lack of constant training...change your ways quickly.'' Ryu said to him and with that he began to walk.
While Shira was talking Brendan couldn't help but feel as though someone was watching them..he couldn't explain it but he could definately feel that someone was nearby, maybe he was just being paranoid he wasn't always like this, but ever since he had been on the run from the soldiers which were also from his hometown, because he had stolen the legendary katanas, that were meant to be for the mayor of his hometown he had become slightly more paranoid, than usual and could often tell if someone was watching him.
He tried to shake the feeling off as he smiled at Shira and accepted the handshake, she seemed friendly enough and seemed eager to fight just as much as he did, Brendan respected her enthusiasm but as he was about to reply someone approached them, it seemed that he already knew Shira and he also looked like a warrior Brendan was surprised to see two people out in the second district. They were probably both out for training which was the exact same reason why he was out here.
"Thanks for the advice..you both seem pretty strong wanna spar?, I've been looking for a good fight these heartless can get boring after a while." Said Brendan he knew it was too soon to ask but he was eager to test his strenght against these two.
Shira knew their was someone watching Brendan and her, though she couldn't sense aura's like V, she always had great instincts that had helped her a lot during her adventures.
She was calm though, she didn't expect the person behind them to attack, and even if they did Shira could easily counterattck it with the knife she was secretly hiding in her sleeve. You can never be too careful. She listened, as the footsteps of the person behind them come closer, as they passed by she recognized who the person was.
"Skilled as always Shira." said a familiar voice.
Shira was surprised, it was Ryu. She smiled, "Ryu...long time no see...how've you been?"
Shira was happy to see Ryu again, even though she didn't show it. Ryu was the first, and only person Shira ever respected. He was a great swordsmen, and an honorable man.
Suddenly she heard Brendan speak, "Thanks for the advice...you both seem pretty strong wanna spar? I've been looking for a good fight these heartless can get boring after a while."
Shira was surprised, "I guess minds do think alike sometimes." she thought.
Her smile widened, looking cold and twisted. "Sure..." she replied, "I could use a good fight...How about you Ryu?"
The young looking general stopped in his tracks when he was spoken to. '' I've been well Shira, unfortunately that unnatural smell still covers this town.'' Ryu said answering her. He listened to what they both said about fighting and had an idea, it had been a while since he even drew his blade...and now wasn't a bad time...especially with Kyriu alseep.
But the battle had to be planned. He looked at the man, then at Shira. He had a different reason for wandering about however, Ryu was actually hoping to run into Shira especially since he hadn't seen her for a while.
'' That is an excellent Idea...'' Ryu simply drew his blade and faced them.
'' Both of you will face me..I'm eager to test your skills...have no hesitation'' Ryu said waiting for a response.
To his surprise the swordsman drew his blade and agreed to fight, but they weren't having a free-for-all instead it was him and Shira versus the new guy, Brendan smiled and drew his katanas and jumped back into his battle stance he hoped that Shira was willing to co-operate otherwise this could end badly. He was eager to see what the swordsman could do he seemed confident in his abilities, he had confidence Brendan could appreciate that but he would make him regret challenging them both.
He held the katana in his right hand up to his face and the other to his knees, so that he could attack and defend whenever he needed to, he looked at Shira and said "Get ready as long as we do our best it doesn't matter who wins or looses, i'll be counting on you." He smiled as he said it, Brendan was always a good team player and had no trouble with helping out and ally if they needed it.
He then turned to face the new guy he nodded confirming that he was ready to fight, he decided to let the swordsman make the first move he wanted to see what he could do.
Shira was dissapointed, as Ryu suggested Brendan and her fight against him. She was never good with fighting alongside other people, and tried to avoid to as much as she could.
She stared back as Brendan looked at her, "Get ready as long as we do our best it doesn't matter who wins or looses, I'll be counting on you." he said.
Shira looked at him with a questioningly look, then letting out a short sigh she nodded. Then taking out her scythe, she spinned it between her hands, she calmly looked at Ryu and smiled. "well if we're all ready shall we begin?"
Shira let out a laugh. Then flash stepping away, she disappeared for a secound only to reappear right next to Ryu. She swung her weapon, and jumping back only cut into his arm minorly. She then disappeared again, waiting for her "partner" to move.

Once everybody was ready it was Shira who made the first move by somehow appeared next to the new guy, Ryu he was called their wasn't much of an introduction because Brendan was too eager to fight, Shira who was swinging her scythe at the swordsman who would most likely avoid it by ducking or rolling around her. Making his decision Brendan swung the katana in his left hand which was at his knees for defending or striking low, and aimed for the lower half of Ryu's body.
Even if he did manage to escape Brendan would throw the katana in his right hand at Ryu he expected him to leap over them both and appear behind them, he held his katana in his right ready to throw it as soon as Ryu escaped. Brendan was interested to see what Ryu did to get out of this tight spot he made sure that the only exit for Ryu was up, and moved his left katana closer to his legs he would cut him slightly, unless he moved and Shira had his upper half coverered.
This could be exciting.. Brendan thought as his blade reached closer to his target.
Ah, Traverse Town... It was almost time to leave this place called home. Though, he couldn't leave until he found Shira. Where the hell was she...? Honestly, Shiro was getting annoyed. He looked almost everywhere for her, but he couldn't find her... He was about to give up, and simply wait until V took over and hopefully she would look for him. He stood in the middle of the street so it would be easy to find him.
He stood there for a good half hour, and then he heard a sound. It sounded like people were talking. Maybe Shira was there. Shiro broke into a silent dash, running towards the noise. He quickly stopped when he knew the battle was very close. He didn't want to be seen, so he concentrated on himself to raise him to the roof of a building near him. When above the roof, he stopped concentrating and landed on the roof. Shiro slowly walked over the otherside of the building and stopped when he saw what was going on in the streets below. Shira, finally he found her, but with two other guys. He recognized them both, but just couldn't remember the names. He probably only have saw them once. He sat down on the roof and watched the battle. Maybe he could learn some of Shira's battle strategies. Maybe he might learn some sword moves from the two men. Oh well, he didn't have a weapon, so pebbles and trashcans probably wouldn't help him against them. So it was probably best to stay unseen, and just watch them fight. It was entertainment.
(I would be glad if you didn't see him for a couple of rounds, just sayin.)

Well this was a tight situation...and all he wanted to do was test there level of skill...since a two on one fight was never honorable. Fighting them one at a time was and option, but still this way was much faster..and overall more exciting. Now since the strength level was done, it was time to move on to the second level.
Ryu used the blunt side of his katana to block Shira's scythe and prevent it from hitting him. Then he pushed on it and jumped a few feet above the floor to land on the blade of the man's Katana....since jumping straight into the air was never a good idea( which he learned the hard way), he decided to jump slightly to allow him to avoid the low attack and still land on the weapon.
Now the man had two Katana's so Ryu was still open to an attack, but he wasn't interested in that right now, he had another plan.
'' Well done...both of you, I still have one last thing to observe...Shira If you would allow me...I would like to have a word with this man.'' Ryu said while still dealing with her weapon.
She could refuse...and so could the man..but then he would have to fight them seriously...which would mean..someone would get hurt.

( That's fine but we need a posting order, it'll be me first then Shira, Rex and finally Shiro, that's the order until someone else joins alright?. )
It looked as though there was a slim chance for Ryu to escape Brendan was getting ready to throw his other katana, but the swordsman managed to block Shira's scythe and push against it so he was able to jump and land his foot on his katana, causing it to be stuck on the ground. But that didn't matter Brendan was always planning ahead though Ryu was about to speak and he didn't do anything for a moment, to hear what he had to say.
''Well done...both of you, I still have one last thing to observe...Shira If you would allow me...I would like to have a word with this man.''
It seemed that he wanted to speak with him?, why would he stop? they had only just started Brendan moved his katana out from under Ryu's feet, and returned it to his side. He hoped that the talk would be quick, once he started fighting their was no stopping him but he knew that this wasn't an all out battle though he couldn't help but frown slightly because Ryu stopped him from continuing his attack.
He gave Ryu a puzzled look and asked "What's the deal?, I was just getting warmed up."
[/b] he said in a impatient tone he knew he hadn't done anything wrong unless Ryu was stopping him for advice, he probably didn't need it. [/blockquote]
"Well done...both of you, I still have one last thing to observe...Shira if you would allow me...I would like to have a word with this man." he said.
Shira, flash-stepped to the front of Ryu. Then smiling nodded, "Sure!" she replied. "Take your time." She didn't know what he wanted to say to Brendan, but whatever it was it didn't concern her. She put her hands behind her back, and whisteling waited for the other two to talk.
She heard Brendan, as he lowered his katana's. "What's the deal? I was getting warmed up."
Shira could hear the impatience in his tone, whatever Ryu wanted to talk about it was probably important. However, there was something else that was drawing her attention. She looked behind, she couldve sworn she felt someone's eye's stare at her. But there was no one to be seen.
Shira let out a sigh, and turning her head towards the other two listened patiently to their conversation.
