In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Once again Shira never failed to Impress Ryu. As soon as she was away he turned to look at the impatient man. Just looking at him slightly irritated him, and it wasn't because of the man's persona, but rather his fighting style. Normally Ryu would have no quarrel with how anyone used their weapon, but this was different, the man used ''Nitouryuu'' ( the two sword style). If he was serious about it....then his current way of handling it wasn't good.
He didn't put away his weapon, but instead simply inhaled once before speaking to Brendan.
'' Silence! Listen to what I have to say, you use two Katana correct? Earlier you decided to throw them leaving you open, Katana are close range weapons meant to test a true power of a warrior....why do you throw them!!! If you desire a ranged weapon....several options are available.....but Katana....a weapon solely meant for close combat....should not be treated in this manner'' Ryu said to him.
If he refused to trust in his weapons and stop disgracing them...perhaps they would continue....otherwise....he really wasn't worth fighting.....at all.
Shiro couldn't believe it. Shira actually smiled!? Where the hell was he!? A different universe! For some reason, he hated it when Shira smiled. Though, he loved it when V smiled...? Odd. Probably must be that Shira's smile was similar to V's. It seemed that this "warrior" liked to give people advice. Maybe he could get a few tips before he left? Who knew? Though, it seemed that he was going to tick this person off. They both look familiar... Hmm... He got it, he remembered the "warrior" guy. Kyriu. V talked about him earlier when they were getting ice cream.
His eyes widened at a disturbing thought. Shira seemed to like Kyriu... Maybe a bit too much. He could make her smile! He never knew someone could do that... If this whole "friendship" thing got too far... No! He stopped thinking about the thought. She wouldn't actually fall for him, would she? He knew she wasn't V... But same body? It didn't look like his "stop thinking about it" plan worked. Okay... Shiro now hoped that Shira didn't have emotions, though he told her before that she had them. Cause if she liked to fight, and he was good at fighting, that could be a connection between them. No connections. No connections. Please, let there be no connections. He loved V, but... No, no regrets. He loved V and would stick with her to the end. Would it be hard? Hell yeah. Though, it was kind of hard for him to see Shira liking anybody... So maybe he was just worrying about nothing. He hoped that was the case.

( You all replied quick 0_0 )
He was right Ryu said that he didn't use his katana's properly well it was true, he hadn't had them for long and was really fighting with his own style what the swordsman said made him think for a while was he really disgracing his weapons?. He knew that he threw them a lot but he was able to control them with his Wind element, but it did always leave him open for an attack maybe it would be best to take Ryu's advice.
Brendan gave a small sigh but he was still determined not to give up and if Ryu had what it takes to make him a better warrior, then he would have no choice but to listen.
"All right know it all...what do you reckon I should do then?, I'm able to control my katanas with my Wind element so I don't see what the big problem is." Said Brendan he knew he was being cocky but he didn't appreciate it when someone underestimated him, he jumped back into his battle stance and he had a new attack to use.
He stood sideways slightly and moved both of his katanas together to behind his legs and began channeling Wind energy into them, creating a breezy twister around him after a few seconds, it his katanas began to glow and the wind became heavier when he had enough energy he jumped towards Ryu and span around once creating a vicous wide cyclone of wind around him, with his katanas he was ready to slash Ryu with both of them this would do a serious amount of damage if he hit. It was a wide ranged attack so the wind around him may hit Shira but Brendan expected her to avoid it, his true target was Ryu.
Well...this was clearly going nowhere. All he was trying to do was explain why his style wasn't very good, but the man still decided to remain ignorant. And yet for some reason Ryu was about to be attacked by the man...even while he was explaining. So his answer was that he could control the katanas with the win element? Was this man born naive or just brought up that way?
No matter. His lack of will to listen, and the fact that he dared attack this way.....allowed Ryu to make up his mind. He tightly gripped his blade as the wind spell was cast, and simply sheathed it. Once that was done he merely stood where he was and waited for the attack to hit .
The samurai waited for the gust of wind to settle. It tore Kyriu's school shirt a bit, but that was a small price to pay since moving would hurt him. He was still waiting for something. As soon as he heard the sound of steel moving though the air he spun around and blocked the incoming Katana's.
This was a bit hard since he blade wasn't out...but it still worked. Now that was something that was really Unnessasary.
He stood up straight and walked past the man.
'' A katana is a close range weapon that is meant to test a warriors power. The blade trusts it'self in it's masters hands, and are meant to fight for and with you. Allowing them to roam freely....and leave your side. That is an utter insult to the blades...therefore'' Ryu stopped and resumed his traveling stance which involved him carrying his weapon near his hip.
'' I prefer to fight real opponents.....not arrogant and simple minded ones'' he said.
That other person was bothering him..he had to be somewhere...so therefore addressing this person would be best...but not now.
He wanted to see just what kind of bandit was hiding here.
Watching the whole fanasco happening with Ryu and Brendan, Shira started to get bored. Yet there was still that feeling of someone watching them, and that for some reason annoyed her.
She looked behind, but once again saw nothing. She sighed, "Maybe I'm over thinking things..." she thought. She looked up at the sky, it was strange...though their were many worlds they all lived under the same sky. To many people this would be irrelevant, but to Shira...she found it quite facinating.
All of a sudden she heard Ryu speak.
"I prefer to fight real opponents...not arrogant and simple minded ones." he said.
Shira was surprised, did this mean Ryu wouldn't fight at all? She looked at Brendan, then at Ryu and disappointed sighed. "Well that's it for my afternoon I guess..." she thought, putting away Hibiki.
She was then, about to turn around and walk away; but...for some reason Shira just couldn't. She was so looking forward to fighting with Brendan and Ryu. She thought for a moment, and stepping forward asked.
"Well...if you won't fight Brendan, how about me?"
Ryu didn't have any intention of leaving, there was still another reason he came out here anyway. However he was still bothered by the unknown person that was still around here somewhere. Despite this Ryu turned to answer Shira, after all she was the other reason he went for a walk.
'' This is most fortunate....I was about to challenge you to a duel, however you surprise me as usual. '' Ryu said. Somehow he had a feeling that this would draw whomever was watching out. Besides they needed an extra eye to look around the area, therefore there could be another use of this match....aside from personal enjoyment.
He looked at the Brendan before speaking. '' It would be best If you observed our duel, you will learn something. I must warn you, If you interfere with our battle, I will not hesitate'' Ryu said.
Misuse of the Katana was bad enough, but disturbing a battle...was by far...much worse.
'' Very well Shira...If you are ready we can begin'' he said to her while drawing his weapon. While he didn't really show it, Ryu was looking forward to fighting Shira. Why so many warriors this age rely heavily on magic was a mystery to him.

( Since Shiro hasn't posted for the past few days, I'll reply next. )
Brendan was outraged by the way this warrior treated him underestimating him was one thing, but making him sit a fight out that just ticked him off. Though he didn't loose his cool he simply shrugged and shiethed his katanas, This was only a meaningless sparring practice..all I wanted to do was fight..something seems odd about this one. he thought glaring at Ryu, it's not that he didn't like him it's just that he didn't like not being able to fight.
There was definately something odd about Ryu he was unusually strong and knowledgeable how did he know exactly what fighting style he was using?, but then again he did use a katana too maybe it would be best if he just watched the fight, though sitting around doing nothing wasn't his thing. Brendan again felt like someone was watching him, he knew he was going against Ryu's wishes and he'd probably regret it later, but he couldn't just stand there and do nothing he had to scout the area.
When Ryu turned to face Shira a mischevious smile appeared on Brendan's face, he could tell that their was someone else among them and he was determined to descover who it was before the others did, Brendan flipped on the path to where the hotel was and began searching the district. He almost reached the clockworks when he could see a shady figure standing on a nearby roof.
Hmm...I wonder who that could be.. He thought and began to walk he made it look like he hadn't spotted the stranger yet, it was unwise to recklessely attack someone and so he continued walking towards the rooftop where the guy was, though he was still looking at the fight which was about to commence through the corner of his eye.
(Oh! It was Shiro's turn! Hehe, I gotta start paying attention... )
Shiro watched as the warrior ticked off the guy. Hmm... Oh well. Atleast he would get to see Shira fight. He watched as the other guy walk away, waiting for him to spot him. Odd. He was on the building right next to the upcoming battle. Well, atleast he wasn't found yet. Though, he was going to turn his attention away from the battle and simply watch the man walk. "Wasn't he supposed to observe the battle?" he thought. "What is he doing...?"
He followed the boy, staying up on the roof tops. Watching Shira battle would be great. But he would like to know what the boy was up to. Then, finally, the boy looked like he saw him, but then looked like he didn't see him. "I'm not that dumb." he muttered. Shiro broke off into a sprint and jumped off the building he was on, back to the ground. He then looked at the boy(wherever he is) saying, "I'm guessing your not going to watch the little fight?"
Shira was slightly distracted, as she saw Brendan jump behind Ryu and her. At least one of them could check out who the watcher was, but now was not the time to be thinking about that.
She couldn't afford to let her gaurd down, not with Ryu fighting against her. She was pumped up, for years she'd been hoping for a fight like this. And now...
She took out Hibiki, and waiting for Ryu to make the first move breathed in slowly. "heh...your move." she said smiling. She was going to enjoy this.

(Mine )
Ooh, a sword battle! How fun. Chinzo himself had had some in the old days, as a child, fighting with long sticks on a stone bridge with his friends... Ah, good times. But swords were beyond him now, or rather, he was beyond swords. Magic was just so much more useful.
But these people wielded their swords(katanas, specifically, though Chinzo couldn't figure out why - Foils, Sabres, and Epee's were so much longer and more useful) with such expertise! One even used wind magic with them. That was just plain cool. Another one was just good at wielding them, and was explaining to the one who wielded the katanas with air magic(the more sophisticated, in Chinzo's mind) that the swords were being disrespected or something because they were thrown. Stupid fool. But, he did offer some flashy gold - argh, I mean silver! Stupid negative vision! - entertainment.
It seemed as though he wasn't only fighting with the air mage, but with another person, a woman. Interesting. He gave a speech to the air mage about respect, yet he willingly fights a female? Disgusting.
Chinzo was actually watching from afar, on the street. He'd just slain a couple of Soldiers with a pretty strong Thundara, and he was proud of it, so he thought he deserved a break. Showering rainbow sparkles on people, of course, was his kind of break.
And so he took his break, and shower rainbow sparkles he did, all over the two people who were about to fight. A couple of jets of flame burst from the cracks in the road around these people, and lightning buzzed around the air, raising the hairs of spectators. Exciting.
( I believe the correct person was me...but anyway welcome aboard..I might be a bit slow in posting due to school guys but please bear with me...really sorry I'll make sure not to let you down)
While he simply wanted a plain a simple duel...things started to get more and more complicated. Ryu wasn't quite pleased that Brendan decided to take off....but at least he would find whoever this mysterious bandit lurker was. He decided to focus he mind on the battle ahead like always...but just as he was about to start....a strange display occurred.
Several sparks and cracks of lighting swirled around the two...and it was quite obvious to Ryu that yet another person had joined them....wonderful...however none of the sparks hit him or Shira......very well. This wouldn't stop them not at all...If anyone tried to interfere with their duel....they would regret it.
Ryu took the usual drawing stance of his blade and decided to give Shira a word of advice before they began. '' Ignore them'' was all he said as he fully drew his weapon and stood up straight. He kept his eyes trained on Shira's....he wasn't going to waste his time testing her either...he knew exactly how skilled she was.....this would be his first...actual duel since he arrived here.
Without wasting anymore time he quickly started slashing his Katana at V, with both extreme speed and skill. He expected her to deal with all of them accordingly...he wasn't going to decrease his speed either. He slashed quickly at V with several blade combo's....and what made this even more surprising was that Ryu still held on to his weapon's sheath....after all he needed it for now.
While his primary focus was on Shira he was still ready for anyone who decided to step in.
While Brendan was walking he kept his eye on how Ryu fought with a katana he battled with immense speed and power, but that was how he fought? though he had to admit that throwing his blades may have been disrespectful, and he would promise himself not to treat them that way again unless he needed to attack an enemy that was out of reach.
He prefered to fight in close range anyway, and he was fast he knew that already but he didn't like Ryu's attitude towards him, there was no need to comment like that about how anyone fought, everyone has their own unique fighting style Brendan thought as the newcomer on the roof jumped down, and they can improve their skills too with plenty of practice which is exactly what Brendan needed more of that was why he set up the duel and look who wasn't the one fighting, him!.
He let out a dissapointed sigh though he never let Ryu get him down he would one day prove that he was stronger, and he realised that he had found a decent rival. He smiled at the thought he had been looking for someone strong enough to fight all along, so he appreciated Ryu for that he now had a reason to take up his blades.
Brendan was lost in thought that he didn't notice the newcomer until he spoke.
"I'm guessing your not going to watch the little fight."
He looked at the newcomer and said I am just keeping an eye out for strangers such as yourself, what're you doing here?. My name's Brendan as you probably overheard earlier." His placed his hands on his his waist casually and gave him a freindly smile, he decided not to jump straight into a fight and besides the boy didn't have a weapon though he did notice a strange glove on the boy's hand, he gave it a quick glance and then looked back at the boy waiting for his response.
Shira smirked as Ryu automatically went onto the offense, she dodged some of his attacks and blocking his combo attack stayed focus. She swung her scythe with quick persision, and strength.
Then parrying one of Ryu's attacks she laughed saying, "You are indeed a formidable opponent Ryu! This is going to be fun."
Suddenly she disappeared, and flash-stepping to the side of him attacked with-out hisitation. Of course she drew back her weapon a little, so to only skim ryu's skin.
Meanwhile, now awake V watched the fight through Shira's own eye'. "What?" she thought confused, "Whats going on!? Why is Shira fighting...wait is that Kyriu?"
She squinted her eye's, and seeing that the man's eyes were blue gasped. "Its Ryu..."
Still this made her even more confused, perhaps they were just sparring for fun. But...that's kind of hard to believe when she knew Shira fought for the death. So why did she draw back Hibiki? It was all confusing. Well, all she could do was watch, and see the result of the battle.
