In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

After bandaging his hand (due to a heartless attack) Zetsu decided to find something to eat. He looked around the area, and ended up in front of a cafe. There were lot of people inside which Zetsu found weird because where he came from, there would most likely be only two people inside.
He entered the cafe and found himself a seat. For a few brief moments Zetsu remembered the death of his friend, shaking his head he asked the waitress for cake and water. When the cake arrived he only got to eat half when he saw something very interesting.
The voice cut across the chatter of the cafe. At a table by the window, a woman in a blue vest was pointing dramatically (though apart from the pointing and the voice, they both sat easy, even lazily, in their chairs) at her companion - dark ponytail and a chunk of pointy rock around his neck - who responded to the apparent challenge by producing a handful of bright rubber balls and slamming them on the table.
Lily and Shiru had spent the last forty-five minutes making life difficult for this one waiter --
I want a sugar cube. On a plate.
Peanut butter, please! No, no bread, just peanut butter. On a spoon.
Can you bring less water? --
who had totally deserved it. She had clearly expected them to be horrible, after all, she'd said as much. And it would only make her feel bad if they proved her wrong.
Thud, thudthud, thud, thudthudthud.
The balls bounced off the table, higher and higher, as the two snatched them out of the air and tried to hit the ceiling by hitting the table.
Among the list of rules posted that were outlawed, there were no pets, no paddleballs, no fighting patrons, no pogo sticks - a list long enough to warrant standing and reading it all, wondering just wasn't outlawed. Bouncy balls were not. Neither was trying to hit the ceiling.
Shiru didn't actually intend for one of the balls to get away from him - he'd just had three come down at once when he expected two. Two, he managed to get, but the third his hand knocked aside, and sent flying into someone else's half-eaten cake.
Zetsu stared at his now destroyed cake wondering what to do next. Rage filled him and his heart was beating fast! 'That was my CAKE!' He thought in his mind. His hair rising up high and turning blood red.
He stood up and walked to their table. 'MY CAKE!' Zetsu stood in front of their table, pulled out one of his blades and stabed it in the middle of their table. "Yoou...are...too...loud!" Said Zetsu stressing each word. He just lost a friend of his so some quiet and cake would do him real good. "That was my cake!" Zetsu bellowed at the top of his lungs. His air still floating and now was bright red.
((Just to clarify, Seph and I are collaborating on these posts, so we aren't really power-playing each other when we say what the other is doing.))
Lily and Shiru looked at him in unison, the balls falling off the table and bouncing to the floor, hazards for the unwary.
"No," she said in her very best very best Kirk voice, and never mind that the guy across the table from her was the only person the local group who would get it, because really, this sword guy had started it with his ellipses. "You are. The one being. Loud."
She rubbed her ear with a theatrically pained look.
Really, he'd over-reacted. Shiru could understand being angry at it, but stabbing a table is where he drew the line. That was uncalled for.
"Stabbing the table is an entirely illogical action," Shiru followed up, fighting down a grin and almost completely managing it - at least for that first sentence. He was pretty sure that grinning killed the visual impression, but continued in his best voice anyway. "Your ... uh... your reaction is not proportionate to the event. --and put that away before you hurt someone, sheesh."
"Your luck I didn't stab you!" Zetsu exclaimed. His hair slowly falling and changing to it's original color. He cut the table in half with his second sword on his left has because he really didn't feel like drawing it. Sheathing his blades Zetsu stood upright, suddenly looking very friendly. 'I shouldn't give a bad first impression. It would ruin my chances of meeting a this place's king.' He thought to himself.
"I'm Zetsu! How about you" He said with friendly a smile on his face. "Who are you and what are these balls?" His grin fading and looking slightly confused.
With an exclamation, Lily grabbed for the table before it could fall on her knees.
"Oy, have you got something against tables?" She dropped the line, trusting Shiro grab the setup line.
Amused - but then, she always was - she shook her head at her companion. "He comes over and tries to crack our knees, all to ask about bouncy-balls." And back to the stranger, "They're all over the floor is what they are."
"Yeah!" Shiru demanded, keeping his end of the table up with one foot. "What did a table ever do to you? Did one bite your sister once?"
He rolled his eyes back at Lily, this time keeping the grin off his face enough to look annoyed. "Tourists... What can you do."
This kid certainly had one easily provoked temper. Shiru wasn't worried; his reflexes were good enough that he wouldn't be caught off guard - and he had a certain arcane artifact that would help ensure that. Lily... she could take care of herself.
It wasn't every day, either, that you saw someone with hair best befitting a certain show wherin the characters did nothing but power up and scream for overlong sequences. Rather impossible to take someone seriously after that mental image.
"I don't have a sister." Zetsu replied calmly looking at the boy. "So can you tell me what you were doing when I was busy eating? These balls, What are they? And can I have one?" Zetsu sounded like a little kid with these sentences. He really liked balls and was in desperate need of entrainment.
There was a light in Lily's eyes that Shiru knew too well, and while it was usually awesome to see where it would lead -- when she opened her mouth he grabbed her arm and pulled.
"Do y--" she started.
"We need to talk for a minute, excuse us."
"but--"
A few yards away the conversation happened in emphatic undertones. "Let's not bait the serial killer?"
"Awwww........ But it's fun!"
"Lily... look around."
".... Oh."
"Remember how much you hate collateral damage?"
"Okay, yeah. And we don't what to pay for repairs. My bad."
((Co-posts; great for getting out those segments.))
And with that, Shiru left money on the tiny gap of floor between the two halves of the table -- even a tip that practically equaled the cost of the meal itself to make up for their rotten behavior to that waitress since she did put up with their antics and served everything they asked for.
"Sure - you can have any of them," he told the other guy cordially, grinning widely while casually making his way to the exit. "I've got more, it's no big deal."
His collection of the things was ever-renewed anyway, and he wasn't about to see how long it took for this guy's mood to flip back to murderous. Being in a constant murderous rage was one thing, but flipping between the two that quickly was what one really had to look out for. One never knew what that might lead to.
And that's why they were leaving the area that begged for collateral damage. He'd be more than happy to continue running this guy in circles -- but somewhere that others wouldn't be dragged into.
"Wait a minute." Zetsu said looking at Shiru. "You haven't told me what these round bouncy things are." Zetsu had no idea what balls were since he never had it on his world. He crouched and picked one up. Examined it for a moment and then threw it directly at Shiru's forehead.
