In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Outside, in the courtyard was Disney Castle’s Captain of the Guard, Goofy.
He had just returned from a month long assignment in Radiant Garden, aiding the Restoration Committee in their efforts to rebuild the World to its former glory. He enjoyed the work. With Leon and the gang, they were able to raise a new school building for the children, as well as a community flour mill. Despite a few mishaps (and one particularly stress-inducing prank by Yuffie), they managed to accomplish quite a bit in thirty days. Little by little, Radiant Garden was beginning to blossom.
Still, Goofy was glad to be home around familiar sights again. The shrubs were greener somehow and the sky was a softer shade of blue. Maybe he loved it because it was beautiful or maybe it was beautiful because he loved it. Either way, his heart swelled with the joy of returning home. He couldn’t wait to see Max again and catch up on all he had missed…maybe next time he could come along with him! He was getting to be such a big pup after all.
With long, ambling strides, he made his way towards the throne room to report to King Mickey, looking forward to the meeting. It always put him in a good mood when he had good news to report.

With her companion in tow, Minnie gracefully bounced down the hall towards the courtyard, and never did she suspected that she would be graced with not two visitors, but three. The Queen didn't even realize it until after she nearly ran into him; surely her ears would've picked up sluggish sounds of his 'typical' walk.
"Oh," she sounded alarmed as her nosed bunched up into a who knows what. She stepped back giggling," I'm sorry I-I."
When she finally looked up at him, one would've thought there was an actual mouse in the room with how she squealed with delight; although she was queen, Minne was quite down to eart and isn't particular with royal formalities. The Mouse surely didn't held back from giving the Dog a tight hug.
"GOOFY! It has been so looong," and from happiness, the Mouse was able to switch gears to a chastizing worried tone, "and where have you been? I haven't gotten a letter or or.."
Seeing that she was about to ramble and rant in an unqueenly manner, she stopped herself in mid-sentence; this was definately not an ideal greeting, but she was in all happy to see him and filled with anxiety to know of his whereabouts. Afterall Goofy was like family to her, since they've known each others for many many years. Also her profound flip of emotions could be explained by the twists and turns of this world.
It was too unsafe for people to live in the castle with the cornerstone gone, especially once their lack of security of discovered. The people had returned to find their home nearly in ruins forcing them to bind together and pick up the pieces after they concluded that they were tired of running, hiding, and waiting. There's been a few heartless attacks that had shakened people, but all in all they have risen from the debris and ashes. Still throughout those days, she had wondered what came of Donald, Goofy, and the King.
“Minnie!” Goofy grinned a grin so bright you would have seen it blazing in the dark, “Ayuk, I sure did miss ya!” He hugged her just as tightly, his great big lanky arms lifting her right off the ground—only for a moment, mind. Minnie was still the Queen of this realm.
“Gee, I’m sorry, I must have forgotten to write! I was in Radiant Garden on the King’s orders, helpin’ Leon and the gang. The place is startin’ to look awful nice.” He took a step back as he spoke to her. Goofy was tall this was true, but he never made Queen Minnie feel her lack of height by standing too close and making her arch her neck to stare up at him. He may have been a clumsy mass of limbs who frequently forgot where he put his hat, or which way was North, but he was always very polite to the people he respected and cared about.
“Anyhow, I was a’ hopin’ I could catch Mickey and give ‘m my report an’ then go see Max!” He had been away for an entire month and was not aware of the comings and goings of Donald or the King…or the Cornerstone of Light for that matter. He hadn’t seen any other part of the World, nor had he witnessed any of the damage. As far as he was concerned, everything was on the mend and moving in the right direction.

"Oh," Minnie said in a gloomy tone, even her round ears dipped a bit before perking back up, "the King has been away too and hasn't come back yet."
She held her tongue from expressing or even thining the worst, but her concern was all-in-all consistent. Of-course once upon a time, she was angry with him for disappearing without notice, but anger was just worry in it's brash form. After getting the world in order, she didn't have the energy to be upset, since she had to stay strong for the kingdom; the least she could do was to have faith that all is well, since in the end Mickey always tend to know what he's doing.
To lighten up the mood, she smiled with news of Max, "Oh and Max has been wonderful Goofy. He's even apart of the Royal Guards; Horace Horsecollar has been mentoring him, and he's doing swell."
She briefly informed him of all the nightly watches and patrol throughout Disney Town to fend off heartless and how the young Goof stood is ground in it all. Sure she has been skeptical in permitting someone so close and so young (in her eyes) to enlist, but the pup was very adament. Who was she to deny him, especially when he looked up to a father who was a defender of worlds?
“Gawrsh, I didn’t know the King was gone…where’d he go?” Goofy inquired, concerned. He certainly hadn’t counted on this! If Mickey was away, who was left to guard the castle? He had faith in the power of Minnie’s Light, of course, but he also knew it wasn’t enough to stave off the menace of the shadows with their yellow eyes and fierce claws. He wouldn’t have just disappeared without telling anyone his plan, would he? Unless something bad happened…something unexpected and dangerous. He hoped it wasn’t that.
His eyes lit up at Minnie’s regaling of his son’s deeds and adventures at Disney Castle. His chest swelled with pride to hear that he was following in his Dad’s footsteps. And if a tear came to his eye, what of it?
“I’m so proud of him.” He sniffed, “I’d like to go and see him right away, if you don’t mind. But I’m worried about the King goin’ missing. Did he leave any orders?”

[D: Nope, o3o I just moderated him for a thread previously as a moderator]
"Oh by all means, go see him; I know he'll be happy to see you. As for the King, I'm worried too; there wasn't any notice or letter, and I haven't seen a hair or tail of Pluto either. I suspect his departure have something to do with the Organization; I thought they were all gone, but I had a visit by one in particular, Marluxia. He wanted an alliance, but I refused his offer; something's certainly fishy is going on."
There were buzzes that they were back and alive, but Minnie only spotted one of them.
"But I would add we're not completely alone, I've been visited by numbers of young men, who are following the path of light, Mikhail Rutherford and Jack Styx. If I recall they were last in Traverse Town, but they are traveling to a world called Atlantis," her brows dipped in quizzically, but she accepted that there will always be more worlds than one knows," Also I heard that Sora maybe joining with them. Also not too long ago I sent Tidus, a young boy from Sora's homeworld, to seek out Riku and Kairi, since they left the islands as well."
"He haven't alerted Chip and Dale of his findings, so he's probably still looking for them," Minnie informed. Thus far Disney Castle had attachments and affiliates circulating, so if danger was to come of it, someone would surely know about it.
“The Organization! You mean Organization XIII is back? Gawrsh, I thought we were all done with them! Maybe I ought to go out there and help the King.” Goofy said, after taking in everything Minnie had informed.
Things had certainly not been quiet. It sounded like something was about to happen. And if Sora was involved, he could be sure that “something” was going to be big. Whatever happened, Goofy wanted to help out anyway he could. He had become close friends with Sora, even as he was close friends with Mickey and Donald. They weren’t alone in their struggle of course, but he if he could lend a hand, he certainly would.

[Why did it took me so long to realize you posted? *headdesk* blarg]
"I was thinking the same Goofy. The worlds can use more eyes and ears; in times like these, you can always expect the unexpected," darkness lurked at every corner and lingered in every world. The sense of security was thinner as if everyone sat like sitting ducks just preparing and waiting for the inevitable, a strike. It was unlike the Organization, especially with their objection, to not make an act sooner or later.
"From time to time, I still wonder how they even manage to resurface, but I doubt the worlds have time to dig up mysteries," she personally doubted they would even let them ponder on the 'blessing' they had came across, "still even in uncertain days, we still need to to keep our chin up and keep what's important close to us; we all must have faith and stay close. So please be sure to visit everyone before you leave and do say goodbye before you go."
When it came to family, one really doesn't want to let them go, especially when they've been gone for so long, but duty called everyone at some point and time. It was a silent sacrifice that everyone had accepted or rather learn to accept.
Queen Minnie always knew the right thing to say. He felt honored to be a knight in her service. She was more than a queen; a friend and confidante, wise and good, patient, and caring.
Goofy nodded. “I’ll be sure to do that. I hate to say goodbye already, but I suppose it’s all for the best.” He managed a smile, “Take care, Yer Majesty. I’ll see ya again real soon.”
