In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

||Plot||
Everything was still moving despite if its rate wasn't so admired. The new tasks and missions were dealt out like cards in the hands of fellow members. One task was becoming quite annoying, the recruiting. Seed had found one; Elaeus took him into the corridor of darkness to head towards the Castle of Abyss, and the weak was nowhere in sight. Either Titan never stepped inside or a heartless quickly claimed his heart. The Earth Titan never thought he would have to babysit the recruits, but what must be done have to be done. Recruiting was under Ansem's orders, so if babysitting and protecting were what it took to bring them to him, then so be it.
Luckily the next recruit didn't need such services. Kuja was quite anxious to be a heartless, and by Ansem's demands, he had lost his heart and succumbed to darkness. It took much longer than usual with an interference of another entity, but the heartless was reborned in the realm of darkness safely. Regardless, Kuja could stand on his own, and Ansem made it seem that he would keep an eye on him, so Elaeus didn't bothered or hesistated
Now the Earth Titan was in his room at his desk. When he have the chance of solitude without much work, the Heartless generally thought and plotted. His thoughts were in the general directions of Radiant Garden. Ansem had planned to sent Era there to sabotage the Ansem the Great's computer. Elaeus never doubted it would be completed quickly, which gave him more time to think of what to do next. It was the inevitable; the former Radiant Garden's residence were going to walk back home and claim the world. It would be refreshing being back at home with the access to the castle he often worked at and where all the chaos began.
Still going back wouldn't be simple as it sound. In Radiant Garden, there were other residents who tried to restore and protect it. Surely they wouldn't give a warm welcome to those like the Dark XII. So the Earth Titan had to prepare; he rather not go full out on them. He never admired the idea of anyone being able to study him and learn his full extent. Thus far in his mind, the battle would only be between the Dark XII and the residence, but life had showed him that the most obvious to occur is the unexpected. There would always be something to throw them off, and with that worry, the back up began.
'What would throw them all off guard?' Sure the sneak attack of the failure of the defensive claymore system would shock them, but Elaeus knew they all wouldn't go in ultimate panic mode.
"Hopefully Ienzo would be done with his analysis soon," as now Elaeus was facing a thick wall, a block.

A shadow slowly crept along the floor, a familiar shadow, and one that would be known purely for its aura. Dilan. It crept, slower and slower under Elaeus’s desk, stopping behind him for a few seconds before it formed up as the man emerged from a small dark void.
“Elaeus” the man smiled “ it has been far too long my old friend” Elaeus and Dilan go back from before they where heartless, those memories far too thin to remember but the fact that they did know each other beforehand was all they needed.
Dilan knew all too well what was coming next, if Elaeus was in one of his moods he was in for a lecture, he could imagine it already //Where have you been memememe blah blah blah you’re a very naughty heartless\\ However, at the minute he looked like he was really concentrating on something, it was true, Dilan had been gone a long time, what would of changed to make him so thoughtful, mind, Elaeus was always thoughtful. One of those minds that you could just poke and be bombarded with information. He wasn’t one to divulge information easily though; you needed to know which buttons to push. One thing was for sure, Elaeus was no idiot.
Dilan slowly took himself in front of Elaeus’s desk, circling like a shark around its prey, until in front of him. Slowly placing his fists down onto the table and taking a seat.
Dilan, however uncaring he may of seemed was interested in Elaeus’s well-being, he was one of the few in this world or any other that he did care so much for, he would never admit it but Elaeus was the closest thing that Dilan had ever had to a friend. The only one that found out most of what was going through Dilan’s strange mind and moods was Elaeus, whether or not her knew it was a different matter however.

The Earth Titan's eyes narrowed at the smell of darkness. He didn't remember ordering any Gaias or other heartless to come here, but the thought changed when he concentrated on the particular aura. Fingers ran through his hair with a sigh. Of all people, he would appear and disappear randomly. Again the obvious was the unexpected. What an unexpected visit he would have..
Elaeus, it has been far too long my old friend, A brow quirked at the statement as his fingers twiddled a pencil. Yes, it was indeed Dilan, the Typhoon Angler standing behind him. He didn't say anything just yet as he contemplated on Dilan's arrival. He would disappear for so long then return like he just had. His eyes remained glued to the desk until seeing a pair of fists on his desk.
"I don't know what to say. I'm stuck between 'so you finally stepped out of the darkness' or 'what do you want?' Regardless, you know the inevitable question, so might as well answer it." Finally, Elaeus looked up at Dilan, who sat in front of him, wondering about his whereabouts this time around. "Also you better have a good alibi; you know Xe-," the Earth Titan paused, "...he could be quite irate, especially with seemingly inactive members."
I wonder if he knows Dilan is here now...probably
"No matter, it's good to see that you can proove that you're not amongst the dead. So how are you, Dilan?" Lacing his fingers together, the Earth Titan rested his chin on the created platform of his fingers.

Dilan was expecting a lecture, instead a question was given, one that he knew would come. “Where have I been?” was Dilan’s immediate response, he loved answering questions with more questions. Even if it wasn’t used correctly. “ Well, you’re asking all the wrong questions friend. You shouldn’t be asking where I have been more so of what have I been doing?” Dilan smirked at this answer; it was an acceptable one. Dilan knew himself well, he knew that he disappeared spontaneously and would appear again sooner or later, it was his nature, he didn’t like working with others. Elaeus might have been the only exception to that rule… most of the time.
“ Well as for where I guess you could say here nor there. I’ve merely been busy. However, it pains me too see that the first thing I am greeted with is where have I been? I was expecting a /how are you/ or maybe a /anything interesting you’ve been doing/” Dilan frowned at Elaeus’s obvious annoyance. Dilan knew that Elaeus hated him disappearing like this but hey; it was just what he did. He wouldn’t be Dilan the Typhoon Angler without it would he?
The Angler’s gaze eventually met the titans, staring up into his eyes at the final question of how he was. “ I’m doing fine thank you. Maybe a little bit homesick if you could call missing out on a few fights homesickness” With this he smiled “ And how are you? You seem… Perplexed? Anything I can lend a hand with?” Dilan knew that Elaeus would know what that meant.
Dilan’s idea of lending a hand was different from most. When he said /lend a hand/ what he really meant was /anyone you want me to kill/. Then again, that was just how he worked.
“ What has got my dear old friend so confused as this I wonder?” Was his final statement before his hands retracted to his hood, bringing it down from his head and letting it fold onto his shoulders. His black dreadlocks and perfect purple eyes finally revealed.

Elaeus allowed the aero manipulator have is moment to speak. But like Dilan, the tables turned towards a new focus, The Earth Titan. Elaeus wasn't ready to go on about himself for Dilan was carrying a questionable variable. When he finished and removed his hood, Elaeus made it sure to take controll of the conversation and made sure that everything he wanted to say was out in the open.
It seemed as if he didn't hear a word of Dilan's chatting, because what he said next wasn't related to the present subject. Instead he sighed and continued; it felt as if he started in the middle of a previous conversation.
"That's why, I didn't ask much of any questions. You already know what I want to know and that I want to hear it. Which is why I gave you a chance to do so. Still you haven't answered the inevitable question, which is an all of the above. Or do you want me to ask the same questions before 'what mess are you getting yourself into?'"
Collecting the papers, he started to arranged them neatly as he continued,"Why is it a mess? You come to me out of nowhere; you disappear doing who knows what...definately not training or secret mission. Actually you've already told me that you're mingling with someone else, this greater darkness. So it seems that I'm not the one who needs a lending hand. The true question is 'why are you here' and 'what do you want'? Everytime you come back you're asking of something. Or is this one of the blue moons you are concerned for another?"
Tapping the stack of papers on the desk, they all aligned neatly before he placed them back down on the desk. "As for me, I'm just thinking, the usual. I'm at a dead end, but I feel the one who can answer the question is busy, Ienzo. He should be in Radiant Garden, back at home. Hopefully his task isn't becoming difficult. We should drop by to see him soon...if you aren't too busy."

Dilan didn’t like being ignored like this, especially when it was Elaeus. He was his one and only close friend. The only thing that tied him here was Elaeus and Master Ansem, however that was born from pure loyalty unlike Elaeus who earned his trust. A feat very difficult to accomplish.
“ Mess? What makes you think I as in a mess…” He paused a moment, inhaling deeply and then sighing it out. “ Am I that easy to read Elaeus?” His eyes now shined with a lust for revenge. “ I met an embarrassment. A thing that I thought impossible for me… I fell in battle.” Dilan was a very big person when it came to pride, he despised the idea of losing, but was always looking for a way to test his strengths. He was… cocky to say the least. “ I would rather not speak of what happened, or who, but afterwards I managed to save myself and go back into the darkness for a long sleep. Regain my strength. Then I went back, surprise attack, poor fool didn’t see it coming. Just shows how much strength you can gain from almost dieing eh?”
The next question hit Dilan hard, like a slap. / Why are you here… What do you want…/ these words scrambled through Dilan’s head. His hands bawled into fists once more. “ Well, nice to know I was missed” He put on a brave face, but it would have been obvious to someone such as Elaeus that these words hurt him inside. “ And as a matter of fact I am concerned about you” Dilan’s glare so intense that it could of pierced skin and flesh.
Dilan was quite happy however when the topic changed. Even if it was to one such as lenzo. “ So what is it that you hope he can help you with?” Dilan was still trying to change the topic. And hoping that he could help Elaeus in some way.
Although Dilan may of seemed soppy to most at this point. It was merely the fact that it was Elaeus he was talking to, had it of been anyone else, master Ansem included, it would have been a much different story. He would of lied, yelled, and used force if necessary. But that is what was great about Elaeus, none of that was needed. " See him soon? Sure, i've got plenty of time now. I don't intend on going anywhere for quite some time."

Brows furrowed seeing a pair of fists tightening together. He wasn't expecting such reaction from Dilan of all people. He wasn't one to wear what he felt so clearly. Then again, the Heartless has been around him for years to be able to detect it. His eyes softened at the harsh glare he recieved. He would apologize, but the transition of talking made it close to impossible.
"We are mobilizing...obviously. Ienzo is supposed to gain some information from home, Radiant Garden. There's another of us down there as well. All of it serves its own purpose of permitting us to walk back in there without too much to worry about. I can't say it would be peaceful; I doubt that's hardly our intention when it comes to reclaiming what was lost: our studies, those labs, the place of our previous lives, that castle."
"It's clear that we won't be welcomed with opens arms since we are Heartless now. I guess you can imagined what may come. I can already see a little war breaking out; I just don't want too much work and effort to come to waste, so I want to be a step ahead. That's why I want to know what Ienzo knows now. I doubt his little research and Era's task would happen quickly, so I would rather have a back up planned formed before we all head towards Radiant Garden."

Dilan was happy about this. It sounded like there would be a nice big fight. Dilan’s ears perked up even further when the mention of “war” was said. “ I hope you are right. Chances are they wont take us back with open arms. Alas it can’t be avoided, guess we will just have to kill them eh?” After a few seconds it went through Dilan’s mind about what was going on. “ So if we are attacking them…. Does that mean your organising this attack?” If this was true, it meant that he might be able to get his way.
“ Elaeus… I’ve been thinking. As usual you are right, I shouldn’t have gone. So to make up for it I will come on this mission for you. Just put me on the front line and ill make amends” Elaeus would probably catch onto what Dilan was trying, the Typhoon Angler wasn’t known for his subtlety. He was however known for his fighting ability – or so he always believed. The plan was if he was on the front, Dilan could have as much fun as he wanted, and no one would care, so what if a few extra people died, on a mission like this, sloppiness would be fine.
“ So formulating a plan eh? Plans… Plans… Plans… Hmmm yeah, I guess that’s you and lenzo’s department.” Its true, Dilan wasn’t exactly stupid, far from it, he was quite intelligent, the only problem was that he got carried away and knew that if he formulated a plan it would something along the lines of /hit them with shiny swords so they fall down/. Inside he chuckled slightly.
“ As for lenzo, why not just call him here? I could send a Snag propeller, and with that a small jellyfish like creature spawned next to him, tentacles twirling to keep it afloat in the air. This was Dilan’s heartless. “ Oh, I don’t know if you’ve met my little companions or not.” The snag propeller floating lightly awaiting a command.

A brow cocked at the fact that Dilan has been...'thinking' to formulate the proposal of being at the front of the line. "You are getting quite excited for something that even haven't occured yet. In the end of it all, it isn't for me to decide and you know that. If you're so anxious I'm sure Ansem won't mind too much to listen. Perhaps it may redeem you; he's been a bit testy lately, especially with the sudden recent attack."
Scratching his head, the Earth Titan looked towards the heartless Dilan had summoned. "Hmm, you have meantioned it, but never revealed. The name suits it. As for now let's not disturb Ienzo; knowing him, he would be off to assist Era. Also you can't go the way you are. Your presence would trigger Radiant Garden's defense system."
"Have you seen anyone else lately or am I the first? Perhaps we could summon Even. I'm sure he can find the answer to the question that's been plaguing me."
(My Seed is needing to move his own little mission on sense is telling me to post in here)
Bored, bored, bored. Not good words to use to describe Seeds emotional state when all this exciting actions are needing to be made, especially Seeds own little mission. Recruiting, which always seems to elude the Heartless' grasp. The person he had recently acquired, Titan, had been swallowed up by the darkness. And here Seed thought that this person would actually make a good addition. As always his perception of people, humans to be exact, was myopic at a first meeting.
"Hmm, Elaeus is off being Elaeus, Even is making stuff in his lab, Braig.....is gone haven't seen him in about a week. Ansem.." Seed gave a shudder at the sound of that Heartless' name. Never had Seed been so intimidated by a dark aura, not even by Elaeus'. Shaking it off Seed wandered around the Castle of Abyss in search of things to do. He found a couple of Shadow Heartless rolling a ball of...of...something around with their tiny heads. Strange how such a simple being can be amused so easily by a ball.
He rounded a corner and a arrow from Sniper Nobody that had accidentally crawled out of the darkness in the wrong place. With a heavy sigh Seed drew his wooden staff and made an illusion around the Nobody to confuse it. The white creature swung its sniper gun in an arc in an attempt to get rid of the illusion, but Seed made a somersault in the air, twisted his body to go around the swinging gun and struck the head of the Nobody, an impact of a Fira spell diffused as the staff made connection. The fire engulfed the being of Nothingness and it faded back into the realm it belonged in. Seed however, was already down the hall while this happened, still searching for something to do. And there he found it, Elaeus and Dilan.
Putting his usual smile on he walked up to the two, "Hope I'm not interrupting anything boys." Seed let out a small, but familiar, chuckle.
Post by darkunslint on Sept 18, 2009 12:34:46 GMT -4
“ If you think we should leave lenzo to his own devices then so be it, that’s what we shall do. I’ve learnt that bad things happen if your console is ignored” Dilan let out a small audible chuckle. He had mentioned the radiant garden system of defence “ Claymores” he stated the obvious here, more of a recognition of the word than anything with meaning. “ So, is that what we are trying to remove? That could prove a problem, if they go then that means the nobodies could move in as well. I doubt our other halves would stand around and watch.” He felt like spitting when he said the words “ Other halves” But that’s technically what they were; they was the two sides of the same coin.
Then Elaeus asked a question that he did not expect. "Have you seen anyone else lately or am I the first? Perhaps we could summon Even. I'm sure he can find the answer to the question that's been plaguing me." This question troubled Dilan slightly. For reasons that he would not mention as this was neither the time nor place. Especially considering what aura he was feeling drawing near. “ Of course you are the first, you think I would trust any of the others? You know you’re the only one that I trust in this place.” This was all true aside from Master Ansem; Elaeus was the only one to ever earn his trust. “ As for Even, do as you will. However beforehand I would like to know what the pro” Hope I'm not interrupting anything boys." He was here. Seed…
“ Your still alive then?” he said with a grunt, man, this guy got under his skin at times. Dilan however, would never show it. The heartless wobbling next to him disappeared slowly back into the world of darkness. “ Tch, thought someone would have gutted ya by now.” He said this with a laugh, more of a joke than anything, although Dilan didn’t particularly like Seed, he didn’t like anyone, but seed was bearable. He sat there waiting for some kind of response, which he presumed would be a cocky one.

Elaeus had a feeling Dilan would ask about the removal of the claymores, which indeed the Heartless had the answer. With coming up with the thought, it would be obvious that Elaeus would double check it thoroughly. The possibility of influx of nobodies was down to none. After all they weren't removing it, but modifying it. They can select who to keep in and who to keep out.
Opening his mouth to answer, another voice that didn't belong to him answered. Seed had came in at the center of the conversation leaving the two elder Dark XII members in silence. Dilan was the first to recover taking the initiative to be the first to greet Seed whether he wanted to or not.
"It's good to see you Seed. Hopefully the recruiting isn't becoming unbearable, especially with them all be to unstable to survive a trip through the realm of darkness. So what brings you here."
Seed snickered at Dilan's words, he knew Dilan didn't really like him from the start and Seed was going to use that to get on his nerves throughout his stay with the Dark XII. Rolling his eyes the green haired maniac responded in kind to the insult.
"Yeah, yeah. I know it would pain you to see something happen to me. But alas, I have not been gutted. For the longest time it was I who thought you were the one who had been gutted, given that you've been AWOL for awhile."
Seed looked over Dilan, he could never pick out what made him a part of this organization. He didn't look very strong, his ego got in the way (from Seeds perception), and his weapon, from what Seed had heard, looked even weaker then the Heartless himself. Nevertheless, Seed knew better then to underestimate people. He learned that from his fight with Lexaeus. Speaking of which, Seed had forgot to mention this little sighting of his.
"Well, Elaeus, it's been getting quite boring. Everyone I find in Twilight Town is either to stupid to follow orders or they end up getting their heart taken. Like Titan, it really annoyed me to hear that he got attacked by the Heartless. There was one very interesting meeting I had. Not with a potential ally. But with your other, you know. Lexaeus."
Seed cocked his head to the side a bit in anticipation of Elaeus' response. Seed knew that there was some bad blood between the two, after all. Who would like someone who is trying to kill you?
Post by darkunslint on Sept 20, 2009 15:06:45 GMT -4
(Sorry for shortness, not much to reply to this time.)
Dilan turned to seed slowly, listening to the response before opening his own mouth to retaliate. However, he thought it was probably better left as it was, there was no point in arguing with him, and it would accomplish absolutely nothing.
Dilan looked at Seed, he had never really been interested in him, the only thing that he had been told was that Seed was quite powerful, this did interesting him but Dilan had never followed it up. It was a note to self that he should remember in the future. Although from looking at Dilan he didn’t seem all that powerful, with an only just over average size and bulk, he didn’t look too intimidating, especially with his fisherman’s trench coat on. Dilan was good at concealing his power; he really got a thrill out of fighting, but wouldn’t fight a weakling unless he had to. So he rarely allowed his entire power to be shown. As for Dilan’s weaponry… few had ever seen it, Elaeus, Master Ansem and Dilan himself where probably the only living people left that had seen them.
For now, the conversation did not include him, Seed was speaking to Elaeus so he would just bide his time and wait. Maybe one day him and Seed would spar or even go on a mission together. Then all would become clear.

"What about him?" Elaeus brow arched wondering why he would bring up the nobody. He really didn't find Lexaeus to be interesting, especially a meeting with him. Typically he was silent, but when he started talking Elaeus would wish he was a mute.
"What could be sooo interesting about this meeting in particular?" His chin remained resting on her folded hands waiting for Seed's reply. The last time the Earth Titan saw the Silent Hero was in this castle, the Castle of Abyss. The rock head thought that he and the flower prancer could waltz into other's territory without a rough roadbloack.
