In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Taking a seat outside the café, the former soldier sat, arms folded across his chest as he leaned his back on the comfortable chair. You could say he had just been striken by a Deja Vu feeling, having his mind sent to that night at Traverse Town's café. Hmm... it seemed like a long time ago... the Guardians had sure been growing strong since then.
The man he had been waiting for... this Shiro. He was good; not just good, really, like really really really good. You didn't see people with talents and skills every other day and Mikhail was sure determined to take this opportunity versus letting it go to waste like countless others.
He looked back at his watch.
Three o'clock in the evening.
A soft sigh escaped his lips as he glanced arround, bringing the mocha frappuccino he had bought moments earlier to his lips. Hmm, delicious. Now the real question was: would he take the challenge? The journey ahead would be hard and many people would choose to flee rather than face the trials along the way. It was time for the brave ones to emerge and fight for the rest of humankind. These were other times, full of darkness, distress and turmoil.
It was time to lighten them up a bit.
Moments later, his wish would come true. The raven haired man would notice a human-like figure approaching the café, and he couldn't help but feeling a bit relieved. A soft smile graced his features as he eyed this skilled warrior. Mikhail could only hope he would succeed in touching this man's heart, flying around in his thoughts...
A strange phone call in the morning was something Shiro did not expect. Oh well... The person on the phone told him it was very important. Normally, we wouldn't follow a stranger's orders, but he knew if it was a evil person or anything like that, he could defend himself.
As he was walking to the café, leaving V's side worried him. V could've been attacked by the heartless or something, and he wasn't there to help her. But then again, Shira could probably handle it. Though, he was still a little worried.
When he finally got to the café, he saw a figure sitting on with his arms folded. He looked like he was waiting for someone. Maybe he was the one who called him? Who knew? Well, he was about to find out. Though, he was thirsty, so he decided to enter the cafe and buy some tea. When he walked out the café doors with his tea, he walked over to the man he saw. He stood infront of him, and then he took a sip out of his tea. "You called?" he asked while setting his tea down on a small table outside the café.
"I find it sad... that you've forgotten so quickly, Shiro."
Rutherford brough the drink to his lips once again, taking another sip before he turned to eye the newcomer. This boy... he was a talented wielder of the dark element but lacked a real connection with darkness. Mikhail personally had not expected to run into him at the Radiant Garden rather thinking that he had stayed behind at Traverse Town along with the rest of the Lost Ones. Regardless, it made no difference. Both of them would have had a chat sooner or later and the pyromancer was not taking "no" for an answer.
"However, it is not of great importance. What truly matters is what I am about to say so listen carefully." Indeed, Mikhail was not much older than Shiro but he still acted as if that was the case. Training under Jadis's wing had really taken his wisdom to a next level and he now believed he was capable of guiding the chosen flock. "I am here to propose to you the possibility of joining a group of fighters I'm gathering and the chance to make a difference in these times."
Thinking about it, the man finally decided which tactic to use.
Or reuse.
"I'm curious though... about your opinions. Tell me, what is your destiny, your purpose in life?" The million dollar question had been set on the table and Mikhail was sure curious about the hand Shiro carried along. Just to make sure he wouldn't be so hesitant to answer, he focused on the energy flow traveling around his body with speed and attempted to slow and calm it down. One didn't need to be blessed with powers to sense the elemental energies to know something unusual lurked around. By exposing Shiro to a calm, warm and sleeping aura perhaps he'd be able to open up with ease.
(Darkness? Now I'm confused... Could you explain to me about the darkness in Shiro?)
What had he forgotten...? The comment puzzled him. Though, he did not think about it much, since the man talked again...
A group? It did seem interesting, since this group would be used for, as the guy said it, "a chance to make a difference in these times." So it was group of fighters who battled darkness. Though, he would pass on the offer. He had nothing in his life. No happiness. No anger. Nothing. Until a girl came into his life and changed that. He belonged with her. Not a fighting group.
His destiny? He never really thought about it before. Hmm...
"I don't have a destiny. I also do not plan on joining your group," he told the man with his calm tone. "Its not that I want to. Its just that I belong somewhere else."
He could have left right then, but something in his mind told him to stay. Oh well, he would leave soon, unless this guy had something else to say.
((Apologies, gravity magic is normally considered a branch of darkness, but we can pretend the observation was never made if it's such a problem (: ))
"I don't have a destiny. I also do not plan on joining your group, it's not that I don't want to. It's just that I belong somewhere else."
"How can you belong somewhere if you're not destined to be there? If you lack a destiny, then you don't belong anywhere in this world. You feel that being... somewhere else is what your supposed to do in life and yet you claim to not have a purpose?" Sad, quite depressing actually. Mikhail hadn't thought of The Gravity Controller as one of the REALLY Lost Ones. The thought of dismissing him crossed his mind for a moment... but no, he would not give up just yet. He just needed to enlighten the boy some more. "If you really love this place you'll eventually be forced to let it go. You'll surely return to it if you are destined to be there."
Rutherford sighed, closing his bright eyes of sapphire as he continued to speak. "Times have changed and now we must go and face what threats to destroy us all. We cannot go through life living in a comfort zone for long with all this chaos roaming around. Facing these enemies will give us peace when our time to perish comes as we will know we contributed to create a new world safe enough for our loved ones. However, if we keep hiding and fleeing from this great stench it will eventually cause more pain and suffering to all living creatures." He had to admit that he was getting a little bit discouraged, but not all was lost... yet.
Mikhail eyed Shiro once more, waiting for his reaction. Deep down, he knew he'd reject the offer once again...
"Or maybe I decided not to tell some stranger my destiny," Shiro instantly replied after Mikhail finished speaking the first thing. Sure, he knew Mikhail's name, but they were still strangers to each other. He had only seen him at Halloween Town and that heartless infested hotel.
If he meant this world when he said "place", that was false. He didn't love this world, but he did love someone on it. And he wasn't planning on leaving her.
After listening to Mikhail speak, Shiro nodded. He did have a point, but he still wasn't convinced on joining his little group. "I agree, but I wonder... What is the enemy? Is it just the heartless?" he asked with his usual calm tone. When Shiro finished speaking, his words sparked an interesting question in his mind. "Who are the figures in the black coats?" he asked, adding on to the questions.
"Or maybe I decided not to tell some stranger my destiny."
Taking a defensive stance, aren't we? But Mikhail didn't mind being faced with hostilities at the moment as he had sure seen them coming from a far. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he looked at the boy once more, sensing a certain reluctance to leave the Radiant Gardens just yet. He could feel it in his aura; faint, with deep roots... yet strong, unbreakable. It would be a bit harder to convince this one...
And then, the Million Questions Parade begun as usual, Shiro's curiosity being shown as he threw query after query. And this was just the start, as Mikhail was sure there were many many other questions waiting to be asked. His brow furrowed as he looked away, fishing around for the right choice of words.
"I am glad you do, but regarding your first question... it would be a yes and a no. As you probably know, there are two different kinds of hostile creatures in this universe." He extended both hands toward the boy, a small flame dancing peacefully dancing in each hand. Both of them would soon begin to be shaped, twisted, molded until they reached the certain formes he desired them to take. "I assume you know this one," he spoke, the image of a simple Shadow Heartless floating on his left palm. "A Heartless, the weakest of their kind. I am sure they mean no trouble to you by now."
The illusion disappeared, leaving the empty flame while the one dancing on his right palm focused the image it beared within. "This one, however, might be unknown to you." A clumsy Dusk was able to be seen, wiggling his arms in a futile attempt to intimidate both humes. "This one is commonly known as Dusk, the simplest variation of a race going by the name of Nobodies. When a rather strong heart succumbs to Darkness, it produces both a Nobody and a Heartless. The former is a representation of both the soul and body left behind. They are creatures of Nothingness, ones that were never supposed to exist." The image changed shapes once more, this time taking that of a cloaked humanoid. The fire on Mikhail's left palm took the shape of a red maned male and both illusions looked at Shiro with empty eyes.
"As for your other question, the men sporting black coats are known as the Organization XIII. They are a group of thirteen nobodies, all lucky to have their bodies intact, remaining just as they were when they were consumed by the darkness. To my knowledge, however, they are quite disorganized at the moment and are not a real threat to the universe as of yet. The other ones, however..." His voiced trailed off as he closed his right palm, consuming the flame. "They are known as a Dark XII, a similar group made up by twelve humanoid Heartless and their subordinates. These beings are what threatens the galaxy right now. They are organized, deadly and have started to target many of the worlds."
The gravity controller observed as Mikhail created flames in his hands. He wasn't impressed or anything, but he was interested in what he was going to do. When he showed the heartless, he simply nodded, since he knew what it was. But then, he showed the mysterious creature known as a "nobody". He had gained knowledge as he spoke. He never knew what would happen if his heart was to be consumed by the heartless. Though, that would only happen with the beings with strong hearts. A puzzling question appeared in his mind, "What would happen to me if that happened? Would I become a being of nothingness? More importantly, do I have a strong heart?"
Though, he said nothing, since Mikhail couldn't answer the question. Shiro knew that himself was the only one who could answer his question. Though, he decided not to think about it. If he did, he would only confuse himself, plus ignore Mikhail's words.
Then, his other question was answered. So they did look human, the first thought appeared in his mind when he saw the one with the messy red hair. Interesting...
So they were an Organization... So there were more of them? He sighed with relief when the man told him that they weren't a threat at the moment. But then he introduced him to the Dark XII. So they were a threat, not the Organization XIII. Damn.
"How powerful are they?" he asked with his calm tone. Though, he wanted to make it more specific. "Do you think I could defeat one?" He finished his question. That answer that Mikhail had was one Shiro really wanted. The gravity controller wanted to know if he could protect someone from them.
"Another question, probably not important, but why is there thirteen members in the Organization XIII, but only twelve in the Dark XII?" he spoke to add onto the series of questions.
The man looked away, trying to find the right words in order to describe their power. The Dark XII's strength was not something to face lightly, specially when one tended to have a humongous ego; he had faced them more than once and he had sure learned not to underestimate them.
"They have truly given in to the darkness, seeking unbelievable power. However with that power comes a great weakness and that is what we must seek to exploit. Light seems to be the only thing that is really effective against them, though light itself can be extinguished by darkness..." he answered, his voice trailing off as he wondered what would happen if the light turned out to be weaker than their darkness. He took another sip from his drink, wondering if he'd be able to stand in such scenario.
His own heart had been close to giving in to the darkness in the past, and though Maverick had been there to save him that time the pyromancer doubted he'd be there to save him a second time. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he looked at Shiro once more before answering his next question.
"I don't know if you'd be able to face one of them on your own... maybe, maybe not. I must say, however, that one requires a strong will versus the usual strange supernatural powers to defeat them. They are quite... capable with words and may try to manipulate and turn you on your allies. As for the organizations' member count, I'm afraid I do not know. I do have a theory that places the Dark XII as the Heartless counterparts of the Organization XIII... perhaps there was a Dark XIII at some point, before a number thirteen was defeated."
But of course, this was mere speculation. Mikhail really didn't know the "why"s behind their member counts.
(I probably should have made it a little more clear, but Shiro never asked the first question, he simply thought it. Thats why it says he said nothing.)

Makoto watched and listened in a corner what the two men had to stay. Standing rather attentive as she served some orders to their clients, not that it mattered, everyone's attention seemed distraught by the vaguely fascinating but also, terrifying possibility that a greater evil force than the slain Organization XIII was at work. After all, to the common folk, all was set and right except for the occasional heartless and nobody attack. Or rather, that's what Makoto thought the public opinion was.
Breaking out of the trance from which she had been incited, she pushed her palms outward and sent the trolley filled with empty plates, straight towards the kitchen. The chef would deal with the rest, just as he always had. Catching the Manager step out and glare at her from Café's entrance, she knew what she asked to do. After all, she was the only one that knew how to fight.
Moving her hands behind her back, she lied to the world and smiled innocently. Straightening out her dress and preparing her hair as quickly as she could before she had to make her gambit.
Walking towards them, she stepped besides their table and spoke with calming towards.
"Excuse me, could you two leave? If you didn't notice, you're getting everyone's attention and making our customers leave with all this 'Dark Thirteen','threat to the worlds' and 'human shaped heartless and nobodies' talk. If you want to do something involving your cult do it elsewhere."
Standing prepared for their coming actions, Makoto had proposed to herself that these men would require a bit of a "push" if she wanted them to leave. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she concentrated herself fully on unraveling the mysteries of her crystal and the true nature of magic. Drawing herself closer to the answers, her mind grasped what it could and caused the Crystal embedded in her chest to glow brightly. Forced out from the world beyond her understanding, she opened her eyes and whispered...
"Crystal. Gravity."
Expelling her powers in a diameter around herself, she unleashed her Gravity powers on the two strangers and everything on the table. Manipulating gravity to an extent beyond normal means, she increased gravity's pull thirty-time folds. Keeping her composure, she eye'd the two and waited... even if she could only hold her spell for so long, if it brought down the two-men to their knees and forced them to leave, it was enough for her boss. Seeing as Makoto herself held no ill feelings, but rather, wished to inquire more. But perhaps, this is why she said this after she released her spell.
"The spell you're looking for is Holy, and the only known ways to cast it are to equip Fire Magicite and Life Magicite or to be a Crystal Bearer whom was born with the ability to cast such a spell. In my case however, I suspect I would only need to be attacked or exposed to the Light element for a long enough time for my Crystal to copy it's power. Even if my Expertise is with Gravity, I doubt it's unreasonable if I could use other magicks and master them in due time."

That sounded like a reasonable possibility. The Dark XII being the Organization XIII's heartless counterparts seemed likely. He must admit, he was now very interested into this subject. But one question puzzled him... Taking another sip of his tea, he commented, "Don't you think if the Organization XIII is disorganized, we would've tooken them out by now. You know, like take them out one by one. So my next question is... How long have they been here?"
Sadly, that question was the last question he was going to ask at the moment, since somebody didn't want them there. He turned his head slightly to see a girl telling them to leave. Really? He then payed attention to his surroundings and realized that the others were actually leaving. Hmm... He never thought their conversation was a big deal.
"Alright," he told her while standing up. After picking up his tea, he looked at the girl once again and realized she was closing her eyes. Why? Then when she whispered something, he knew. Right after she said it, his tea instantly pushed its way out of his hands and broke at impact on the ground. She owed him another cup of tea.
His eyes widened as he felt the gravity added onto him. Instantly, he concentrated on himself so that this gravity wouldn't apply to him. Returning himself to the normal amount of gravity, he shook his head at the girl. "Surely, you should know never to use gravity against another that controls it," he said with a smirk.
"Now why use gravity before we even have a chance to leave?" he asked while looking at Mikhail to see how the gravity affected him. Returning his attention towards the girl, he walked a little closer to her. "You used a spell?" he asked her with confusion as she finished speaking. Huh. He never knew gravity was a spell. Weird.

((Sorry for the delay... and expect a pissy Mikhail))
"Don't you think if the Organization XIII is disorganized, we would've tooken them out by now. You know, like take them out one by one. So my next question is... How long have they been here?"
Well, even though they were disorganized, the Organization members weren't idiots. They were aware of their current condition and were thus hiding from any potential threat. The realization of this fact now picked up Mikhail's interest; where exactly was the Organization XIII hiding? If he managed to get that single lining, the Guardians could remove them before they turned into a threat once more...
Suddenly, before the man could find a suitable answer, another one spoke. At first he thought it had been Shiro, throwing more questions around the air. However, he soon realized the voice was high pitched... a female's...
Rutherford looked up, his eyes meeting those of a deep blue sea as she stood before them, quite... calm. The girl was dressed like the rest of the cafe's waitresses and the fact that she worked there was quite easy to guess. For a moment, the pyromancer could sense the image of Saga Matsuda, the bunny-loving waitress/scientist, coming back to him.
The child's request was quite... strange at the least, mainly by the way she had stated it. Mikhail looked around, noticing that the people sitting near them had left. The shapeshifting flames had probably been what grasped their attention; oh well, the frightened humes had been less than ten and were possibly too terrified to speak about what Shiro and he had been stating. Plus, the rest of the people were too far away to know what they were talking about and the pyromancer hadn't been -exactly- shouting, had he?
However, when he noticed that Shiro had left his seat Rutherford decided to yield and do the same. There was no need for him to repeat what the other one had said. However, before he could grab his drink and leave, Mikhail noticed the faint glow emerging from the waitress's chest. When her aura changed its intensity, he knew it was time to get away...
..as soon as possible.
Reacting with haste, the man jumped away from the ground, focusing on the ground below him as he created a disk of hardened lava. Mikhail landed safely on the floating vehicle just as the girl unleashed the spell on them.
"Crystal. Gravity."
Making good use of his skills, Mikhail attempted to float away from the girl. Her spell's effect was almost immediate, however, and he started to feel the gravity pulling him down becoming stronger. Fortunately he was able to escape the spell's range, much to the amusement of the other civilians. Really... this had just ruined his day.
The man turned to look at Shiro, who had been saved by his own mastery of gravity. He launched a glare at the hostile waitress, angered by her rash action. Really... to strike without giving them a chance to fulfill her request... quite foolish.
"A single spell will not stop the Heartless, you should know that. True mastery of the light will be needed to actually stop their stroll throughout the universe. But of course, your abilities were unable to submit mere humes like us so I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up slain by one of them, hm?"
Rutherford looked back at Shiro, who seemed to be confused by the girl's magic. His question was quite unclear but the pyromancer decided to attempt answering it.
"While gravity isn't an element by itself, it is a living branch of the darkness, much like magnet. One can choose to either bond with the element and master it or just create weaker links with it via spells. Each method has its benefits, though."
"However I believe it would be best if we went back to my friend's first question, shall we Thumbellina? Why attack us before we had a chance to fulfill your request?"

((Why do I see Shiro and Shun being pissed off at me for taking so long to post. @_@,Sorry if I ruined the topic in any form or fashion))
================= "I was just curious to see if you were the real thing, or if you were lying. So many stop here and so many of them seem strong, but really aren't. So I made this little test to help me see through their lies." Makoto answered in a humble tone.
Bowing her chest down, she tried to assert her feelings into them. A near panicked expression showing off of her face. "But, I can't justify my actions. So I plead, Please Forgive me"
Unsure on how the two customers would respond to her apology. She cleared her mind and soul of any impurities, and whimmed her crystal to glow brightly. Using her mastery over gravity to mend what she had broken as her eyes turned towards the two customers.
"I attacked cause I wanted to test if you two had the power you speak off. I wanted to convince myself that you were being honest to not only yourselves, but the crowd that curiously draws their ear. But, I also wanted to show that I have the power to fight against the enemy you speak off. I wanted to see how strong you were by comparing your reaction to my strongest of my attacks that bears no drawback. Or rather, the strongest attack I am capable of using this very moment."
Baring a moment of pause, she stepped back a little. Waving her arm towards her front in case one of them decided to attack. Having deemed her cause, unworthy or unjustified.
"I'm alot more than just a Waitress and I wanted to prove it. Please, let me accompany you and learn more of the evils that trouble the worlds. My only wish is to learn how to restore my own world and bring peace to the unknown."
