In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

... I seriously hope you're happy... *choked on her granola bar after reading that*
*coughs*
But anyways... the conversion is a little insane, methinks. It seems more kind of like conversion of USD to British... Um (£) < whatever that thing is... pounds; not ¥en *shot*
But not really...keeping it simple isn't such a bad idea and considering the fact that there are probably very few people here who are actually keeping track of the amount of munny their characters are holding...by the by I'm not one of those people. I just assume Sora's loaded by now. Yes, the concept on the whole is not going to be perfect, but I think it's believable if in Radiant Garden if the conversion rate is two dollars to one munny. After all, even the dollar is worth more in some states than others. Heck, my dollar is worth more on Greenway than it is on Scottsdale Road. And they're not exactly far apart...Tifa can probably afford to bump the prices because she has virtually no competition. In Port Royal however...different story.
Munny can be sibstituted for gil in this case, which there also is no conversion rate for. I am reminded here of how a samurai would price things - in according to his estimation of the thing's value.
If you look at it, it does not make a terrible amount of sense. A ship ought to, as stated, cost more than a new shield or accessory; yet it doesn't. It's partially priced on availability, and gummi ship parts seem almost as common as gummi bears in this world. It's a completely different set of rules, largely, in response to Velum's post, set according to gameplay. I highly doubt it's that way in actuality.
The truth is just that - the amounts were balanced for gameplay purposes, not according to actuality. Pricing, therefore, is something we'll never have a clear grasp on, unless we create our own pricing charts - and it would vary from place to place. Some places have no use for munny whatsoever - Pride Lands, Atlantica - and some, like Traverse, have much use for it.
I still say this - the Moogles have control over all of it.
Any one can simply post what ever they want about the thread and have no correlation with making it into an argument. Therefore, it's only an argument if "you" make it out to be one.
I posted my idea of the conversion rate because all open opinions are allowed (unless stated otherwise) and I thought a completely logical conversion would help this thread with available information. I didn't post here so some one could say that my assumption was some sort of entertainment to them.
it would be nearly impossible for them to come up with something along the lines of a euro. Especially considering that there was no way to communicate between them before the gateways were opened.
