In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

[talking about Combustion Man] Sokka: "I think I've come up with a name for him. What do you think of "Sparky Sparky Boom Man"? ...Just think about it."
...the show's over. T'was an f'ing epic finish, and a part of me feels good that it got such a beautiful ending... but still, it's over now. I'm just gonna kinda miss it...
Well, there's still the live action movie to look forward to.
It'll be called "The Last Airbender". It shall be directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It's scheduled to come out July 2, 2010. It's the first of a trilogy of live-action Avatar films, each film apparently covering the events from each season.
Plus, the 2 creators of the show, Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, are going to be at San Diego Comic Convention where they shall promptly be asked more questions about upcoming Avatar stuff.

Unfortunately, I live on the east coast... Note to all (excluding Mutoman since he knows): I need an active and creative group of staff for the Avatar RPG Mutoman, a friend of mine (maybe), and I may create. Please PM me if your interested.

I know, it was completely depressing when the last episode came out. WHYYYYY!? *sob*
Well, anyway, top three favorite parts of the episode:
1. the birthday thing 2. When Katara saved Zuko's life 3. The very ending, where all the 'good guys' were in Iroh's tea shop and looking forward to a bright and happy future...though Sokka's haircut bugged me somewhat. >>
