In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Just watched Dr. Horrible for the 1st time earlier this evening. It inspired me to go on and view some of Ms. Day's other internet works.
Allow me to say right now that I just sat through 6 episodes of "The Guild".
I did not laugh.
At all.
Was laughter the intention of The Guild, or was it to serve as a series of awareness messages as to how immolated people get into MMO's and such? I didn't really see it as funny. Though I've digressed.
She's cute.
Any other thoughts/comments on Ms. Day/Dr. Horrible/The Guild?
I actually found the guild funny, but it was a situational funny sort of funny. My own guild is even worse; we rip on each other even when there's nothing to rip on.
Plus, for a actual player, it's like a "oh, I've met that kind of person before" and only now do you realize how ridiculous he is. You meet plenty of Zaboo's on WoW. Plenty of Codexes, too, although most aren't as pretty.
Yeah, but it wouldn't be bad to meet someone like Codex. But still, I just never really got into The Guild. Maybe it's 'cause I never really got into WoW or Guild Wars or some other major MMORPG.
Dr. Horrible is a fantastic work of amazing. I have the songs from it on my iTunes and I listen to them a lot. Terrific story.
The one thing that always amused me about Felicia Day is that she actually IS a gamer. The Guild was her brainchild that stemmed from her playing an abundance of MMORPG's.
But yes, I think it can be universally agreed that Dr. Horrible is amazing. And I can understand why you people like The Guild. I'm just not feeling it, though, y'know?
