In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Rose was slightly taken aback. Normally, when she yelled at someone, they took one look at her gun, and backed down. Very few people actually fought back. Of course, that was probably because she had a scary reputation in the Wasteland. But this guy? Either he was extremely strong or extremely stupid. And he didn't seem very stupid at all. Which only meant the alternative was probable. So maybe it was best to apologize. "Look, I'm sorry. The only life i've known is what I knew in the Wastes. And even though this is someplace brand new, I'm having trouble letting go of that." She would have went on, except she was interruptted by a rock falling off the top of the cliff wall. She looked up. "Um, hey, what are those things up there?"

Arlan listened to the apology and stopped. He didn't expect that at all. He expected her to continue yelling at him and they would eventually start fighting, or they would just flat out start fighting. But she actually apologized. He was happy to hear it, to say the least. He turned around and was going to say something to her, but then she asked a question about something happening with the cliff behind her. He quickly turned around and noticed the rock she was looking at, but then he looked past it and noticed black... And a lot of it...
"Great... Just what I needed... Heartless..... Tilanis! Transmutation!" He said, pulling the cards from his pocket again, summoning both the wolf and the sword once more. He then looked behind him and said "This could take a little bit of time. Hopefully you have either another weapon or more rounds..." He said, watching as the heartless would start to approach the town. He hoped the security system would kick in with the mass of heartless, but if not, was it up to the two of them to take care of all of them? It was hard to say...
"Heartless? But, there are so many!" She whipped out her gun, as Halen rose from her shadow, his white lines glowing red. She quickly checked her ammo, and saw "I only have fifteen rounds! I haven't had a chance to make any more!"
Halen felt anger blazing inside him, as his fellow Heartless jumped from the cliffs above. He leapt up to meet them, flinging off bursts of Dark Lightning.
Rose took aim, and blasted a trio of Heartless close to the wall. "Arlan, if you've got big guns, now's the time to use em!"

The heartless had finally reached the group, and Halan and Rose had already started their fight. Arlan looked to Tilanis and nodded as the wolf growled before lunging toward the group. He looked to his card holster and said "The luck of the draw!" With that said, a card appeared in the slot as he he grabbed it and looked at it. The card revealed....
[Dice roll to choose card. Dice from 1-52. Dice roll result... 45, Card - Illusion]
.... an Illusion card! Arlan smiled as he held the card up. "Illusion!" With the word said, the symbol lit up before lifting off of the card. Both Arlan and Tilanis glowed a purple color before they seemed to duplicate, leaving 5 Arlan's and 5 Tilanis' on the field. There was no differences between them, so Rose wouldn't be able to tell which was the real ones, but they knew. All the Tilanis copies lunged at their individual heartless targets, while all the Arlan copies charged toward the heartless with the swords, effortlessly striking some down. He was doing what he could, but he didn't like that she said she only had 15 rounds. He wished he could help, but didn't know how. He figured he could help protect her and maybe get her a sword after this. But the heartless needed to be taken care of first.
"Screw this!" As the heartless landed, Rose spun into action. Pulling out her PVC pipe hammer, she began using it and the shotgun as dual bludgeoning objects, smacking and smashing her way through the horde, carving a small swath around her.
Halen kicked off a knight, and blasted it with Dark Flame, then charged a Morning Glory. He slashed his hand sideways, and his sword sprang into existance. He stabbed it deep into the Heartless, then lifted it and swung it at its companions. He yanked hard on his sword, and the Heartless detached from it and bowled into more.
Rose was becoming overwhelmed. She dropped her gun, and unsheathed her sword, and began swinging the hammer and sword in unison, smashing and stabbing and bashing and cutting.

Arlan looked to Rose as she looked like she started to get overwhelmed. She even dropped her gun and used a sword and hammer of sorts. Arlan looked to Tilanis and let out a sharp growl, telling the wolf to go help Rose. The 5 copies of Tilanis all rushed toward Rose as the copies of Arlan jumped into the mix. Unfortunately, the main Arlan's growl to Tilanis revealed him, and he was quickly hit by an Armored Knight, causing all the fakes to disappear of Arlan. "Damn...." He cursed as he swung his sword around, hitting more heartless in the process.
Meanwhile, the Tilanis copies would make their way over to Rose. One was hit along the way and disappeared, leaving 4. One chomped down onto a heartless and swung it around before throwing it, allowing it to hit another one. The others continued to make it to Rose and helped her out, clearing out more heartless around her. They kept coming faster and faster, and it seemed there would be no way out. Arlan growled to himself before hitting a button on his card holster. All of a sudden, the cards in the holster released and Arlan sheathed the sword. He held out his hands as the cards floated in mid-air. It was one of his few abilities that didn't come straight from the cards.
As he did this, he spun around, slicing through the many heartless around him with the card's edges. He extended his hand forward, slicing through the heartless in front of him as the cards extended forward in a straight line. He could feel himself getting weaker as he did that, but he knew this would be the easiest way to get rid of mass amounts of heartless until the Tilanis clones were gone and he could use another card. He continued to spin around, acting much like a graceful dancer, all the while his ring glowing as he did this. He just hoped that he could hold onto his strength while doing this. He hoped that Rose was doing better now that Tilanis was helping out with her.
Rse was starting to worry until 4 wolves came to help her. As he(they?) bit through Heartless after Heartless, Rose picked up her gun again. Halen felt her concern, and his emotions began to boil over.
Rose pumped the shotgun, and as she did, her entire body was suffused with a black glow. Halen's heart, reacting to hers, began overflowing with light, and Halen began glowing white.
Rose took aim, feeling power rushing through her body from her heart. "Take this!" she shouted, pulled the trigger. A beam of pure dark energy lanced out from her gun, cutting a line through the Heartless. At almost the same moment, Halen released a beam of pure light. The two beams of energy cut through the main body of the Heartless horde.
Rose collapsed. Halen rushed to her, batting Heartless away, trying to wake her up.

Arlan continued to spin around, slicing through heartless after heartless. He looked over to Rose as he heard the gun shots again. But it wasn't gun fire, it was a beam of black energy followed by two beams of pure light. Arlan then watched as Rose collapsed. "Rose!" He shouted as he looked to Tilanis. He nodded and attacked the other three clones, causing them to disappear. The green light on the holster lit up, showing that he could use another card. But now it was too late.
He rushed forward, running toward Rose and Halen. Growling, Arlan said "Back... OFF!" With that said, he spun around very quickly and pushed all the heartless away from the group with the exception of one that Tilanis attacked, and Halen of course. He spun his hand around as the cards turned to their sides, still spinning and slicing through the heartless in a giant circle. The quicker he spun, the faster the cards moved, and the more heartless were destroyed. Tilanis whimpered as he could see how much it hurt Arlan to do this, but he knew he couldn't stop his friend.
After several spins, he finally stopped, noticing only a few left. He quickly sliced with his hands at the remaining heartless as Tilanis took the last one out. His hands flicked to the holster as the remaining cards returned to his holster. He looked to Rose before falling down to the ground. "Rose... Wake up..." He said, panting throught it before finally passing out as well. Tilanis ran over to his friend and whimpered again. He didn't expect it, but hoped that the two would be okay.
(short post, sorry, halen isn't very useful with rose out.)
Halen began sifting spells in his mind, but he knew no healing spells. The only way he knew to wake someone up was to electrocute them. He kneeled at Rose's side, and keened, trying to wake her up. He looked over at the wolf kneeling over Arlan, and whispered Wolf know heal?

Tilanis looked to the two as they laid on the ground, and whimpered, nudging Arlan. He heard the words that came from the Heartless, and shook his head. He didn't know any spells like that. But he knew they would be okay... They had to...
Rose's eyes snapped open. She blinked at the sun, directly overhead. She sat up, and shook her head, looking around, trying to remember what the hell was going on. Blue stone walls... construction equipment... Arlan lying onn the ground, with Tilanis next to him... The castle reconstruction area. But... there wasn't a single Heartless around except Halen. "Halen...? I just had the weirdest dream..." Not dream. Halen there to. Rose Dive. "It was real? You were really there? But... Arlan, wake the hell up!

"Arlan, Wake the hell up!"
Was all arlan heard as he slowly opened his eyes. He could barely move, and the worlds seemed like it was spinning, but it was just his mind trying to settle from the spinning he had done to take out the heartless. He sat up a little bit, Tilanis licking his face. Arlan laughed, wiping it off, then growling toward Tilanis "Were you there too? Was it all real?" Tilanis nodded, growling back "Yes. I was... Strange to have been in my real form. But I am glad to be back here. Something about that world confused me." Arlan laughed in agreement.
"Seems we all were in that strange world. Tilanis just told me he was there too. But now... My head is spinning. Lets hope I never have to do that again... So what now?" He said as he looked to Rose, wondering what her thoughts over what had happened in that strange world was. It was definately weird to be back. Seemed like they were there for days, but it couldn't have been that long.... Everything was the same as when he had passed out. So what really happened?

"I have no idea... Halen says it wasn't a dream. I think he called it a Dive." Rose shook her head. "More importantly, what was the message that Voice was trying to send? Did you get a Voice? And who the hell was the guy with the two swords and the body armor? He seemed... Familiar..."

Arlan listened to what Rose said and thought. Yeah, he had gotten a voice, but when he heard the mumbling before Rose left, it must have been the voice she heard. He couldn't make out a single bit of it except the last part that said "You are not alone"
"Yeah, I got a voice too. But it was different then yours. We couldn't hear each others voice. I know because at the end before you left, I heard a slight mumbling. And right before you left, it said 'You are not alone'. But after you left, the voice spoke to me about Tilanis and friendship. He showed me back when I first met up with Tilanis a long time ago as well as the witch forcing Tilanis to be a wolf. It was when I called Tilanis my brother as compared to my friend. But... a Dive? Whats that supposed to mean? And I don't really know about the man with the silver armor and twin swords. But it must have something to do with you and Halen as it was on your side. Say... Didn't it have the same silver color as the creature we fought?" He said, even more confused then before.
"Yeah... Which reminds me... My Voice mentioned something about 'the three beings.' What's a Nobody?" Halen glanced up at the song of the hated word. Nobodies empty... Nobodies nothing... Rose gave Halen a look. "That doesn't really answer my question, Halen." Rose looked back at Arlan. "Maybe there is a reason we shared a 'Dive'. Maybe there is something we are ment to do."
