In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

I’m currently working on giving new staff positions. I’m trying to figure out who would work best where and how many/which staff positions we should have. This a ‘mock-up’ list so far. None of this is permanent; it’s just an idea I’ve started working on.
Administrator/Keyblade Master: Roxas Yuffie
Overlook the jobs of each staff member, answer major questions, gain affiliates/add topsites, moderate boards where needed (includes locking, deleting, moving, modifying threads/posts, cleaning boards, reviewing profiles, organizing announcements, etc.) and more.
Global Moderator/Overseer: (needed or not?) Kaze Nella
Assist admins in overlooking staff and boards.
World Moderator/Historian/Organization XIII & Dark XII Leaders: 11 - 1 per world. Leon ? Tonaki - The World That Never Was (Heartless Side) Lirix - Destiny Islands Larxene - Pride Lands
Moderate assigned board, create and manage a thread of the world’s history and current plots, create current plot for world which connects to main site plot, keep plot threads active by taking on the roles of unclaimed characters and heartless/nobodies, etc.
Academy Instructor: 3 or 4 Sephiroth Velum Leon ?
Review all profiles, update character lists, reject inexperienced/potential problem members, help/teach less experienced members in the academy, etc.
Welcome Committee: 2 or 3 Sage
Welcome all new members, answer questions, show new members around, show important threads, etc.
Just a quick question: in regards to World Mods, will worlds be assigned to us, or do we get to pick the world ourselves? The reason I bring this up is because someone may be more familiar with the layout and history than they are of another world. Just throwing that out there just because I believe if we put someone in an environment that they are comfortable with would make them much more effective in that position.
Lin: The moderators will be able to chose, yes, but there can only be one moderator per world so some may end up with a world they don't really want. It just depends on how many people go for a particular world.
Lirix: Yes they will be. I just summed it all up with 'moderate'.

Ideas please!
Admins: Fine by me.
Global Mods: I suggest adding... I'm not actually sure on this one. I guess just bump Larxene or Lirix up if you even want 3. Not sure which. >>; I think it's needed, but the definition needs to be edited a bit.
Perhaps the admins could handle the questions members have, the overlooking the staff part, adding topsites and affiliates, moderating and modifying. But, perhaps the Global Mods should instead work on things like announcements, competitions, and if a thread starts to get out of hand with powerplaying and such, then that person should go to us, or a world mod/historian could contact us. Something along those lines.
World Moderator/Historian/Organization XIII & Dark XII Leaders: Leon (For Org. XIII part of TWTNW) Tonaki (For Dark XII part) Larxene/Lirix Sage And some new people here. I would suggest Ren, Shiay, Kairi, Kioku, Shore, Demyx, .::MMB::.... Fmeh. Was it obvious that I just sorta clicked on top posters and scrolled on down, picking who I thought was active? Still, it makes more sense to me to divide TWTNW. Maybe have a poll among the staff to determine who of those bunch we choose?
Academy: I think it's fine the way it is, I've seen academies on other forums and we have one of the best I've seen.
Welcomers: Mutoman (He welcomes anyway, so why not?) And here's where I'm stuck. I think Sage should get to move up if she wants, mainly because she's been part of the staff for so long, but I guess perhaps one of the above mentioned names could go down here?
Yeah, two cents. *flops over*
EDIT: Whee, once again people post while I'm typing~

With regards to Seph's post, I'm fairly certain that he'd make a good admin. If he wants to move up, I think he certainly deserves it. He's done plenty for the site.
I... actually can be convinced to retract it. It is something I do feel, but it was a statement made of blatant emoness...
Somewhere along the way, I believe I lost sight of something important -- not in regards to anything regarding Aryn, or that incident -- something more. I took my job for one specific reason, and I volunteered to make the move I did here for the exact same one. Namely, to make a difference, to help, to improve, and to teach.
There was a thrill I had for a job well done, a pride in watching those I took under my wing flourish and grow, moving on to become something great from something that drove others away. It was a genuine love of what I did, and knowing that my actions influenced not only the one person, but all that one person interacted with.
Time passed, and I grew bitter -- for reasons I cannot even begin to express, with my life, with routine, with the feeling of being trapped in something I did not even completely begin to understand. I grew resentful of others, but mostly on account of my feeling that since taking my position at Apple I could not be what I needed to be. Somewhere along the way, panic set in, and a prolonged time wore away at my resolve until I finally reached the breaking point, pushed past it, even, determined to pull through.
I can, and I will. I understand I am ranting at this point, but I do have this to say.
I take great pride in this site; I call it mentally home. The last thing I ever want is for it to do poorly, and what others feel is right for it may outweigh and oppose what I want. That is the nature of things, and I understand that. It's partly immaturity and partly injured pride that makes me lash out, even if minorly.
There have been moments I am not proud of, but there are others I completely am. In the end, it is the site that matters, far more than any one individual in the same sense that a community thrives on account of the whole, not just one person. In that right, I acknowledge that I may be selfish in this regard, for I know my strengths lie in what I have now.
I can and will do what I can for the site, no matter where I am. That much I need not even swear, for I have said so and acted upon it since my arrival. That much will never change; how could it?
Being an instructor has been one of the best things that I have been involved with here, for being able to act as an 'application nazi', or being able to show people how they could improve, talk ideas over and help their originators refine them. I am truly honored to hold the position I have, and will accept remaining in it due to that. In short, I think what I need to do, and have needed to do for a long time, is to take a step backwards and evaluate my situation from an outside viewpoint.
Lately, I have not done so, and it probably shows.
So for this, I apologize -- well, this, and having to listen to a long, probably random rant. Then again, I'm well known for being long-winded. In this case, I am merely rambling, and not saying things in the way I would like to... but feeling I have to say it anyway. Forgive me for this fact, and if need be, feel free to post/say/IM the equivalent of a pat on the head and a 'that's nice, now hush'. I can understand why.
In short, wherever you feel I would best be placed, I will gladly do so to the best of my abilities.
Indeed-- I don't think it's selfish. And I don't mind where I am either. Regardless, I would like to put in that, no, I don't want to moderate TWTNW. Why? Because although I hold Xemnas as a character, much effort I have was put into RG. I feel more at home (and less obsessive) when I can be on what most would call home turf.
I don't mind taking up both, but... yeah...
As far as nominations go... I think I need to think on it. Maybe have something more coherent later.

I never said anything was final. Mine was just a first draft, many things I will revise and many things after this, I'll try to take everyone into account.

Yes, I've decided to post after a long time of being silent.
I do not mind Kaze's suggestion on me moving up. However, I feel that if my moving up causes a member that doesn't want to move down to be assigned the job as a welcomer I will gladly keep my current position. I understand Roxas as to why you left me at Welcomer, considering my absence from posting here and the fact I may not appear active enough for another spot.
I would never say that I am unhappy with the job I currently have on this site, because, let's face it, welcoming people is something I enjoy to do. Even though I may not get to help people with problems as much as other staff members on the site do I still feel proud when I help someone with a question they had. Keeping that in mind, I would not be angry if you left me as a Welcomer.
So feel free to put me where you want.
But there are a couple things I would just like to mention, hopefully they will be heard.
And some new people here.
Some of these people you picked, Kaze, seem like a good choice to become a part of staff. Though with others I disagree, not saying that there is anything bad about those I disagree with, just that there might be others that could do a better job than them. I would agree with Shore, Shiay, possibly Kioku, and possibly Mallory. Ren does seem like a good choice, however, I feel that with the given situation that's happening to her right now, it may not be such a good idea.
Other than that I will say that a poll might not be a bad idea, but you'd have to see what other staff say. Also, I do agree that Sephiroth would make a good admin, so yes for that.
Anyways, that's all I had to say, choose to ignore it if you wish...
In all honesty, I only want one other Admin and I personally feel Yuffie is the best choice for the job. There are many reasons as to why I feel this way and I do not wish to explain myself, but I just hope you all respect my decision.
Seph, I understand that you want to move up, but I would only feel comfortable with moving you to a Historian or Global Moderator position because I have already chosen Yuffie for the Admin position. I am also wary about moving you from the Instructors...I understand that the position is not exciting all the time, but you do a fantastic job there and I just feel your skills are best applied there. However, if I can find another member who is qualified to take your place, I will consider it.
Leon, as of now you currently really hold two staff positions - one of being leader of the Organization and being an Instructor. I would really like you to chose one job so you can focus particularly on that one. I understand you'd like to moderate RG, well in that case you would have to give up both positions and just become a Historian. Because you are the RPer of the leader of the Organization, who would be better to be the Historian of TWTNW? I certainly cannot think of anyone else. Tonaki, yes, but I plan on already having him keep track of his own land there.
The reason I want everyone to only have one staff position is so they can focus solely on that position and do the best they can. If I need to fins a new Xenmas, I'll hold auditions, if I need a new Instructor, I will hold auditions. Please let me know what you decide.
... alright, I'm sick of sugar-coating everything. I'm sick of being nice. I honestly don't care if this ends up costing me some sort of position. It needs to be said.
Basically, what the fuck? Unless I am horribly mistaken, the whole reason this mess of revamping the staff in the first place came up is because you, Roxas, were planning on stepping down. I was certain that's how we started on this track. So why are you suddenly back on the roster? Honestly, if you had a change of heart, that's fine. But - and this is important - if you're going to be one of the admins, you need to step up the amount of work you're doing. Being unreachable and absent for months at a time isn't going to cut it. So either step up, or step down.
I honestly feel that if you want there to be two admins working, then those two should be Yuffie and Seph. I /still/ think, always /have/ thought that those two could work together as a team well to keep this forum together. Maybe the staff would actually be halfway effectual then.
Long story short: I respect your decision to have Yuffie as an admin. However, I question your ability to be an admin of this site. And if this isn't the sort of place where I'm allowed to do that, then what the hell am I still doing on this site?

Because I created this site and because I own it! If anyone has the right to be an admin on this site it's me! If it weren't for my hard work and dedication this site wouldn't even exist and wouldn't even be here! As you may not noticed, running a very busy RPG is hard as hell and it takes much of my time and much of my focus.
I understand that I had a long period of absence but that was not my fault! I do have a life outside of this RPG and I do have my future to think about, so school comes first. I'm sorry if your priorities are screwed up and you think I should put this site first, but I know you're wrong and this place is not on the top of my list.
I am doing all of this because I feel it is the duty of the owner to turn this site around. If I would have just left like i was originally going to this site would probably remain the same for the most part and none of this revamping would ever get done. I know I don't deserve a thank you for sticking around and getting this stuff done, but I do feel that I deserve much more respect than you just showed me!
I need to step up the amount of work I'm doing?? I'm doing a damn crap load of work right now if you haven't noticed! I am stepping up for the time being and may step down once EVERYTHING is completed, or I may not. I don't know how busy my life is going to be the next few months. How can I predict that?
So I have just as much right to voice my opinion as anyone so I really don't appreciate you for ripping my head off because I gave an opinion. Like I said, this IS MY site and I have the right for an opinion.
I really do not appreciate what you said...I'm not going to remove your staff position or let that get in the way of you moving up. But you do need to realize what I am trying to do and how difficult it is for me to do it.
I mean look at all of the things that are getting done now? Without me this would not be happening!
*sigh* I would like to start by apologizing for the phrasing of my previous post. I was very tired, and likely judgment impaired. I was somewhat out of line with how rude I was, I'll admit.
That said, I'd still like to point out several things. We have staff members that have no clue what they're doing because they were never given a job description. We've got holes in the staff that have been there for several months. What about the plot addition that was introduced so long ago and yet never implemented?
*sigh* On top of all that, it's very frustrating, as it feels like (to me at least) you're wishy-washy about leaving the site. What's really the point if we're just going to go through this mess again in a few months? I understand that you have a real life outside of this site. So do the rest of us.
I realize that yes, some things have gotten done. New skins, new boards, etc. Honestly? That's great. But perhaps that's the wrong first priority. Perhaps getting the dark keyblade plot implemented first would have been better. Or filling holes in the staff.
... I'm going to stop myself here before I flip out again.
