In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Jason Arilani "The Wandering Nobody"

"The power of lightning at my command, strike down my foes!" Shouted a voice from a distance as lightning rained down upon the heartless that were near Milo, Mole, Jack, and 627. Jason quickly ran down the street, the line of writing that he just recited stopping its glow as the lightning would soon disappear. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he had seen the crash in his crystal ball earlier. After seeing some of the people moving into the other districts, Jason decided to further help the people that found themselves here in the First.
As he reached the group, Jason looked at the four that were before him. None of them had been recognized, yet when Jason looked at the red "dog", he didn't pay it's strangeness much mind. He knew that there were some strange creatures among the worlds, and figured this was probably just another one of them. So he didn't worry too much about it. As he looked back to the group, he said "Are you guys alright? Something must be drawing the heartless to you. Strange that they would randomly come after you as compared to the other people here." He looked around, knowing that the heartless could come at any moment. As much as he didn't care to fight anymore heartless, he still held his staff to do so, just in case.
627 was ready slice up the curious little shadow heartless with his bare claws, but the little beast just suddenly vanished in a dark explosion! Suddenly, bolts of coincidently placed lightning rained down upon all of the other shadows, sending each of them back into the darkness ..... 627 squinted his black eyes as he turned his attention to a new human approaching. Someone with oddly silverish white hair.
The red experiment felt like scoffing at this foolish human. He would have probably told the human to beat it, but he couldn't let the others know of him .... not yet .....
627 paid little attention to Jason and simply crawled past him. The red creature instead apprached Milo and Mole's hiding place and barked at the two of them. He started panting and wagging his little tail like a dog while his large gumball nose was bobbing up and down with sniffs.

Jack, also, was surprised at another sudden appearance. When he used the thunder spell, Jack scowled. Thunder was his specialty, not that of some ball-gazing dork. Oh well, at least the Heartless were gone.
Like the red dog, Jack called to Milo and Mole. "We're good, guys. You can come out," he said.
Looking the dog up and down, Jack decided he liked him. He'd keep it if Mikhail'd let him. But the new guy... Jack wasn't sure he liked him. He waved at him.
"Welcome to the club. I'm Jack Styx. Y'know, if any more people come flying in, we'll need a name. Oh, and thanks for the help- both of you," he added with a look at the dog. However, he made a discreet, dismissive gesture toward Jason that clearly said 'showoff.' He was sure the guy wouldn't see it, so he was sure he was safe.
With the last thunder strike, the remaining Heartless were vanquished and the area was safe once more. Slowly Mole emerged from the pot full with dirt, still suspicious and shy of its surroundings.
Milo also rejoined Jack and the newcomers. Amazed by the fact that there were no bodies left of the Shadows. They literally dissipated into thin air. With no evidence remaining the linguist was even doubting his memories. Did the fight just really happen? Holding his palm against his head Milo said: "Wauw... this is just... unbelievable... So those were Heartless? I hope the rescue missions doesn't stumble on to much of those. Well Jack, thanks for deciding to stay with us. I don't even want to think about what could have happened if you hadn't stepped in. And of course thank you as well, with the lighting and the psew and pugh and ... euh..." Milo addressed the grey person that had just invoked thunder upon the Heartless and realized he had not introduced himself. Following Jack's example Milo also handed over his name: "And I'm Milo Thatch, from the Ulysses expedition crew."
Meanwhile, Mole was crawling on all fours over the ground. Slowly sneaking up on the strange red dog. It's eyes fixed on the creature while glaring at it with a distrusting look. Even growling softly.
The group was then quickly disturbed again, this time by one of the Ulysses crew mercenaries. Reporting to Gaetan and Thatch that they were ready and moving out to the first district like Lieutenant Sinclair had ordered. Milo responded with: "Right! Seems we are going to move. This world is truly fascinating but we actually have a mission... and... Mole why are you...?... could you leave the dog alone?"
Mole had brought out it's pliers and was trying to stealthily obtain a spec of dirt from the red creature's fur as Milo called him on it. With an angry expression Gaetan hissed back: "Ceci n'est pas un chien!" Milo just rubbed over his face in embarrassment for the geologist as he gave Jack and Jason a nervous laugh.
Behind them, the soldiers were marching out of the Zero District, carrying all the supplies that were left. Seeing them leave spurred Milo and Mole to quickly join them. Milo concluded then: "Well we're off, you can join and stay if you like. Surely until the others come back. Hopefully that will not take long." After that Milo and Gaetan speeds over to the parade as all the troops ventured into the First District and started to occupy the main square.

Jason was pleased to not see the heartless returning and listened to the words from the group. Jack seemed displeased almost with Jason's arrival, even giving him a strange look. Jason was used to it by now. As long as they did not know his nature as a nobody, he was perfectly fine. He listened to the introduction, as well as that of Milo. Inadvertantly he also heard the introduction of the other "man" off to the side playing with the strange dog like creature. Jason gave a nod and said "Jason Arilani." To introduce himself.
The group was visited by someone who informed Milo that they were to regroup to the first district. After the soldiers had gathered up the supplies, they were invited to come with him if they wanted. Jason gave a short nod and said "I'll join you guys. The heartless could return at any moment, and one more person to help defeat them would most likely be beneficial. We shouldn't have much to worry about in the 1st District, however. The heartless usually stay in the 2nd and 3rd." He said, informing them of what he knew. This trip might be helpful after all. But if they managed to continue their voyage, then it was up to Jason to decide if he would continue forward and join them or not.
"Heheh ..." 627 snickered at the silly fat human ... oid? Whatever the case, he loved it when people didn't like him. It would mean more fun and competition. Still, the red experiment was on a mission, so he can't be having too much fun causing trouble.
627 gave Jack a friendly, goofy bark before he ran off after Milo, Mole, Jason, and the rest of the marching soldiers.
Jack swore to himself. Like he and the red dog needed another person to defeat Heartless. The things were a dime a dozen, right? And all this Jason had done was finished off what they started. So really he had stolen their kill. It wasn't like Jack had been doing bad to start, and the dog only helpled him. But Jason was overkill. There was just no fun in it that way.
Shrugging it off after shooting a glare at Jason, Jack sheathed Isabella and walked with them. After glancing at the soldiers and how they marched so... unified, in sync, Jack remembered one of his childhood fantasies, where he would become a great soldier and rise above the rest. From there it became more wild, with him becoming the leader of his world. On some days, he would be a peaceful and just ruler, but on others where he was angry or sad for whatever reason he would be an evil dictator, crushing anyone who dared oppose him. Obviously, his friends weren't too fond of this game.
In any case, Jack found his way back to Milo. "So, Mr. Milo, you were saying- about your mission?" he asked, wanting to know the answer.
Milo and the group started to walk over to the First District. Following the military men. Milo first tried to match their marching style and rhythm but failed miserable since he was never trained. Along the way he responded and answered to the comments and questions stated by Jason and Jack. "Yes I've heard that but aren't they suppose to not appear at all in the Zero District? So I'm really hoping your right about the First District. And yes, our mission. I'll recapitulate for our newcomers. We are on an important expedition to discover the lost city; no world of Atlantis... as soon as we can get back on track that is."
And so they passed the gates into the first district
