In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Powers: Amneris looks good in everything she wears.
Weapon: None. She does have a sharp hairpin.
Appearance: Amneris is a beautiful specimen of woman, and knows it. Raised as a princess of Egypt, she has been told this time and time again, until it is no longer something she questions. She simply is.
Her hair is a long, thick, honey-blond, and worn coiled in elaborate hairstyles. Her face is finely chiseled, with high, delicate cheek-bones, a perfectly sculpted nose, full lips, and thick eyelashes that frame stunning blue eyes. Her frame is slender and shapely, long legs and ample breasts.
She takes full advantage of her stunning looks, by wearing form-fitting clothing, cut to accentuate and draw attention to her figure. Hats, turbans, boots, silk, lace, damask, any and all clothing and fashionable accessories are at her disposal. In high society, she is hands down, the best dressed beauty ever to grace Egyptian court.
Personality:
Words that have been used to describe her include: ditz, dumb-blonde, airhead, and upon rare occasion, bimbo. She has informed all of her friends, family, slaves, and flunkies to, “Forget the inner me. Observe the outer. I am what I wear and how I dress.” (My Strongest Suit, Act I). She finds that “fashion keeps [her] smiling” and therefore, there is never a need to put herself in a situation where charm or quick wits are necessary. She generally comes off as a sweet, spoiled princess (which she is) who doesn’t have a clue about anything that actually matters (which is true). Her slaves report that she is kind to them, occasionally sharing beauty tips or allowing them to try on one of her hats.
Contrary to popular belief, Amneris is not stupid. She doesn’t think much, true, and rarely has an opinion outside of the world of fashion, but she does have a fairly firm sense of identity. She knows who she is, and how she stands in her World. The difference between her and the truly idiotic? She is aware of her empty-headedness. She knows she takes the easy route, and has found satisfaction in it.
She is frequently dismissed as a court butterfly which flutters to and fro for amusement, eventually destined to sit by the next Pharaoh and bear him a son. Let her have her fun and her amusements. Let her have her trappings and belongings. Hers is to be healthy and idle, and give birth. A sad existence? Perhaps. An easy and delightfully sensual one? Absolutely.
History/Background
Amneris was the only child born to the royal Egyptian family, making her the sole heir. She grew up, learning all that befits a princess, including their laws, gods, rituals, etc. As a child, she was good friends with Radames, the son of the Chief Minister, and is presently Captain of the Egyptian army. She also had many friends about the palace, though none she could truly confide in beyond the subjects of the weather and, of course, fashion.
About a three years ago, Radames left to conquer lands and explore in the name of the Pharaoh. Upon his return, it was decried that they would marry. She had always loved her friend and looked foreword to their wedding day but what she had not counted on, was his distant and almost cold attitude towards her when they met once more. Oh, he seemed kind enough, gifting her with a Nubian handmaiden, named Aida, but never ventured to show any warmth, or interest in her as a woman and a person. On top of this, her father’s health was mysteriously failing the closer they got to their wedding date.
She quickly made friends with Aida, being able to talk about her insecurities with her and her desire to understand her husband-to-be. Unfortunately, before anything else could conspire, the Heartless invaded and poisoned her World into oblivion. The princess was flung into a whirlwind of Darkness, eventually awaking in a strange new world, foreign in every sense of the word.
Note: I am fully aware the historical accuracy is pretty much nil in this application. The character is a direct product of Disney’s Aida, the musical with music by Elton John and Tim Rice. Any complaints may be taken up with them.
Umbrella explanation: In this World, blonde fashion gurus are perfectly acceptable in ancient Egypt.
