Name: Xiarnaq
Nickname(optional): Unit
Age: Unknown (Created in a lab recently)
Gender: Male (Assumed due to voice, but has female voices installed onto certain protocols)
Species: Nobody (robotic)
Position: Organization XIII (Works under Vexen, referred to as “Creator”)
Powers:V.A.C (Variable Armor Changing) Systems: Being a robot, Xiarnaq can change his armament to suit the purpose designed for him. Although no appearance change really occurs, Xiarnaq’s weapon load out and statistics may change to match his purpose. He has a default state that is lightly armed, it gives him strength, reflexes and speed superior to that of a human (although only to the level that he can perform basic ninja feats such as jumping across rooftops and acrobatic flips and such), but he only has his other abilities to rely on in a fight. This default form is usually taken when Xiarnaq is not on a mission. Xiarnaq then has battle mode which enhances Xiarnaq’s physical capabilities to the level that he can perform advanced ninja feats, even to the level that he can defy gravity itself by running up a wall. Xiarnaq gains two weapons in this state, a katana that lacks a cross guard, along with a tanto knife. The katana is wielded across his back while the knife is at his left hip. The next form is known as chasing mode. This mode removes the katana and decreases Xiarnaq’s strength to that of an average human. In exchange, his Scan Eye can analyze objects much faster and he can move fast enough to appear as a blur on most people’s vision. This mode is usually used to hunt down and assassinate targets or when an object must be stolen for Vexen’s research. The last mode Xiarnaq has is heavy mode. Xiarnaq loses much of his speed and his Scan Eye can no longer provide analysis of an enemy. Xiarnaq also looses much control over his Origami Constructs. In return, he gets a massive gun known as the Despiro and his strength is enhanced to deal with the firepower and recoil of using it. The Scan Eye can only pin-point an enemy’s location and give Xiarnaq better accuracy in using the Despiro. It is wielded at the hip and fires rounds powerful enough to burst through most armor, but it’s fire is in short semi-automatic bursts. Xiarnaq must almost reload the Despiro manually after 30 shots which can take awhile as he has to request ammunition from Vexen’s lab and then port it over. Ammunition is also expensive to make at times, but in case Xiarnaq needs to fight without it or at close-range he can violently launch the massive spike located just below the barrel of the Despiro which can skewer an opponent with ease. The spike is a one-shot function though, as it must be manually pulled back into position and it jams the gun if not in its prone position.
Origami Construct: As a "member" of Organization XIII (switch Member for Lackey if you would like to) Xiarnaq controls a single element. In Xiarnaq's case, he controls the element of Origami which lets him create and control paper. Xiarnaq refers to techniques as Ninpos (specifically, NINPO.EXE) as some allusion to his past life. Using his control of paper, Xiarnaq can mentally shape and fold as much as he needs into weapons such as kunai and shuriken. The biggest contruct he can form in battle is a shruiken about the size of himself. Xiarnaq can also create clones of himself using paper and switch places with them or any of his constructs at any time. Clones take much energy to run though and are not kept out for very long. Clones are also easily defeatable as when attacked they shred into their original paper form. Any weapon Xiarnaq makes on the other hand will act as if made of solid metal and will not burn if exposed to fire. Xiarnaq can control the color of the paper made as well, and thus can turn invisible for short amounts of time for stealth missions by wrapping himself in paper and constantly shifting the color of it to match his background and obscure his image completely. In battle, Xiarnaq can use his paper control to enhance his speed by creating a trail of paper in the chosen path and then quickly displacing himself across it. The cutting power of his sword can also be increased in paper is continuously wrapped around it, though after about only 2 or 3 strikes the paper shreds. If in need of an escape, Xiarnaq can throw down a blast of harmless confetti to obscure where he is and then use the dark portal ability to sink into the ground for a flawless escape. The quirkiest thing about this power, is when Xiarnaq makes origami of other people. He can look at anyone and create an origami version of them. He can even bring these to life by subsequently slamming them into the ground causing a puff of smoke to appear. When the smoke dissapates, a life-life version of the person is created, although they are chibified and only about 2 feet tall. They do not have any of the person's powers but maintain their voice and personality (albeit it may be a slight bit more childish). These constructs are completely loyal to the person they are modeled after and can be destroyed like any normal person. If destroyed, they simply turn back into paper.
Scan Eye: Xiarnaq’s right eye has the Libra spell enchanted into it. Using this, he can analyze enemies and possibly predict what they will do next, along with their strengths and weaknesses. This takes time though, and after 15 minutes Xiarnaq will know all that the spell allows him to know. This is noted by his right eye becoming a cross-hair when using the Scan Eye. This produces a major flaw, which is probably Xiarnaq’s biggest and most detrimental flaw is that it forces Xiarnaq to think like a robot. Xiarnaq has two trains of thought, the logic line and emergency reaction. The logic line is Xiarnaq plotting out a logical course of action within a certain threshold of error to defeating his enemy. Xiarnaq will follow this line as much as he can, and block, dodge and attacking according to the information at hand and can fight very well using this train of thought. Yet if Xiarnaq’s opponent is to perform an action that is above Xiarnaq’s threshold of error Xiarnaq “panics” in a sense that he then disregards the logic line and moves onto emergency reaction. Emergency reaction takes much more processor power from Xiarnaq as Xiarnaq forces himself to figure out the best way to block the current action of his opponent. This only extends for a single action though, and after that if Xiarnaq has not separated himself from his opponent he cannot perform any actions quick enough and will most likely be turned into junk.
System Extensions: Xiarnaq is a robot, and over time he may receive upgrades if Vexen decides to work on him more. Though this requires Vexen to do, and materials to perform the upgrades are usually in the rare spectrum of synthesis materials (e.g: Oricalum and Mythril). So far all this does is let Xiarnaq output information in the form of speakers and hologram projectors embedded into his system.
Weapon:Shadow Mark I Katana: A standard looking katana that has been forged for Xiarnaq’s use. Unique in that it never dulls or breaks, and Xiarnaq can channel NINPO.EXE techniques in order to enhance it’s cutting power.
Dusk Mark I Knife: A knife wielded in battle and chase mode in and possesses qualities much like the Shadow.
Despiro: A massive rifle wielded in heavy mode. Fires armor piercing rounds and designed for siege combat.
Picture(optional):XiarnaqStandard Issue KatanaStandard Issue KnifeDespiro CannonAppearance:Xiarnaq appears to be exactly what he is: A robot. Painted in black and white, he has the Organization XIII symbol stamped onto his forehead and Vexen’s logo on the palm of his right hand. He wears a long black scarf and despite his contrasting colors, he can actually be quite stealth, especially if using NINPO.EXE. He stands at only 5 feet, 5 inches in height, making him quite short compared to the other members of the Organization, but always stands up straight and is not one known to slouch or ever stop being at attention. For a face, Xiarnaq has what appears to be a black plate with two red dots on it for eyes. The right one will turn into a crosshair when the Scan Eye is active. Xiarnaq has a mouth, but it seems to only appear if he ever needs to hold something in it. His face plate will display information and the dots can move around independently, noting that they are only there to serve as indicators for others of where his eyes normally are. Xiarnaq’s voice appears to be an intimidating robotic male and has no real tone besides the usual monotony. Xiarnaq’s weapon systems seem to have female voices though and notify him of the status of his weapons.
Personality:Xiarnaq has very little personality due to his robotic nature. He speaks only when needed and will constantly pledge his loyalty to the Organization as the loyal goon he is. In terms of command chain, Xiarnaq can alter this based on orders, but currently he obeys the numbered members of the organization the most. He will override commands if a higher numbered member gives an order, but places Vexen as the second in his chain of command due to Vexen being his creator. Xemnas is at the top due to Xiarnaq having been programmed to praise the Organization and if Xemnas created it, then Xemnas should be praised above all. Xiarnaq is very knowledgeable and when asked a question he does whatever he can to answer it. He is also a bit of a smart mouth and corrects other members if he believes there is an error in what they say. He is very quick to apologize though if he gets something wrong and almost always sees the mission through. He announces what he’s going to do very clearly, and will state any information he knows about his opponent to them mid-battle, even announcing his NINPO.EXE abilities. Xiarnaq refers to himself and others usually in the third person, and usually refers to himself as “Unit” designating himself as the first of a series. Xiarnaq alters this based on his armament or if Vexen alters him to test things. For example, if Vexen were to equip Xiarnaq with lots of long-range weapons, Xiarnaq would refer to himself as “Long-Range Unit” and when asked for his name would reply with “Xiarnaq, Long Range Unit”.
History/Background:Xiarnaq has no real history to speak of. He no memories of what a heart or body were like, all he has is the shadow line of ninpo techniques he apparently learned in his previous life. This leads people to believe that Xiarnaq must have been an assassin of sorts on his home world due to the lethality of his fighting and how each movement seems to have experience and practice behind them. When Xiarnaq’s world lost it’s heart it’s assumed that Xiarnaq went with it and as per nobody protocol he tried to retain his body. Yet the odd part was that Xiarnaq appeared to fail at manifesting his own body and this was noticed soon by Vexen. Vexen, intrigued, decided to build a simple artificial shell and offer it to Xiarnaq to see if whatever was left would attempt to inhabit it. The experiment appeared to succeed as Xiarnaq seemed to bring the shell to life, but it soon ceased to function and Xiarnaq was thrown out of it.
Vexen deduced that even though it was artificial, Xiarnaq still needed energy to function. He installed a battery and other functions into this suit and soon had Xiarnaq attempt to inhabit it. This time it worked, and Xiarnaq now appeared to be able to speak and could be programmed as if he was an A.I. instead of a nobody. Vexen kept Xiarnaq in the dark as a pet experiment in his free time and soon got the idea to make him combat capable, turning Xiarnaq into the cold murder machine he is today. He now perform any mission the Organization asks of him, whether it be assassination, information gathering, or even something as tedious as doing the laundry or getting groceries.
