In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Nickname(optional): Everyone calls her Syd because that's how she introduces herself. Not many people know her full name. Or Grey, just because it's her last name.
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Position: Neutral/Undecided
Weapon(s): Syd carries two kit rae archero knives that are curved in several places and very elegant looking but pack a punch when used correctly. These knives are attached to holsters at her hips and she has a kit rae kilgorin sword sheathed on her back. farm3.static.flickr.com/2045/1513542253_43beb5b496.jpg?v=0
Appearance: Sydney is short, standing at about 5’ 1”, with long crimson hair that is held in a high ponytail with two strands framing her face. She has deep hazel eyes and pale skin. Her clothing consists of a pair of loose-fitting black jeans and a dark green v-neck t-shirt whose sleeves have been cut off. Sydney’s feet are covered by a pair of black work boots, and she has a set of dog-tags hanging around her neck. She has a scar on her breastplate that she is unwilling to talk about, and a rather large tattoo on her back of a black phoenix, though people rarely see it because it’s usually covered. One thing Sydney refuses to do is wear skirts or dresses of any kind, so getting her in one is a MAJOR accomplishment since formal events are usually something she avoids at all costs.
Personality: Sydney is very independent and hates it when people help without her asking. She is not used to people being kind to her and approaches new friends with caution. Once she is positive that her new acquaintance will not throw her under the bus the first chance he/she gets, Sydney will guard that person with her life, forsaking her own safety in the process. In a fight, Sydney is the person who will rush in unnoticed, destroy or get rid of whomever possible, and leave before she can get credit for it. She prefers to be people’s guardian. Arguments with Sydney usually end with the other person getting punched in the face, or she tries to walk away because she has noticed that her anger is a bit out of control. Sydney may seem a bit rough and hard to understand at first, but once befriended, she will show that she does have a pretty easy going personality and enjoys a good laugh every now and then. She is also great with little kids and has a lot of patience when teaching someone a new fighting technique.
Original World: Unknown and destroyed
Current Residing World: Radiant Garden
History/Background: From the day she was born, Sydney had been trained to be a soldier for her world. She has all the skills to be a hired assassin, but with the help of one of her comrades, Ryder, she escaped their training camp when she was thirteen and never looked back. It was all Ryder’s idea to escape, and since Sydney was so close to him, she followed without question. She wanted to leave as well and see all the other worlds that their trainers had told them about. Two years after their escape, Ryder was killed by an assassin in Twilight Town, and Syd quickly moved to Radiant Garden where she’s been residing ever since. The only thing she has left to remember Ryder by is his dog tags which she wears around her neck, along with her own. She has a hard time trusting others because of her training and has since kept to herself and become the shadow guardian of that world, popping in and out when innocent people are in trouble. In order to keep her position hidden, Sydney takes odd jobs here and there for shop owners and rarely allows people to see her weapons because they're a dead giveaway that she's a soldier, and the last thing she wants is to get caught.
Role Playing Sample: It was cold and rainy as Sydney walked into Ambrosia. She was greeted by the smell of alcohol and extremely loud tech-no music, that, to any normal person, would seem completely uncalled for. But for Sydney, this was her place of work. She loved the atmosphere of the club. The people were extremely friendly and because of her flair bartending skills, she brought in more tip money than most of the other bartenders, which usually went to paying the rent on her apartment.
“Hey Syd!” One of her fellow bartenders called, “I found out how you do that trick where the bottle lands on your hand.” Sydney quirked an eyebrow as she threw her coat in the back room and took her place behind the bar. The man flipped a bottle of grenadine and tried to catch it on the back of his hand, but the bottle bounced off and crashed to the ground. Sydney shook her head and patted the guy on the back.
“Maybe next time Sean.” She grabbed a random bottle of alcohol, flipped it in the air and it landed smoothly on the back of her hand, causing a loud cheer from the people sitting at the bar. With a smile, Sydney quickly began filling orders, though she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched.
