In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Not long after arriveing in this world, Kaid was already a little lost. Radient Garden seemed to be a lot bigger then a lot of the other worlds he had already been too, simply by the veiw. But no matter, Kaid had seemed to find an area where the most amount of people to watch would be.
As usual Kaid decided to climb up into a higher up place, then sit and wait for someone to come by. This method seemed to be working for him so far. This time however, the peole who where already around, weren't so happy about him climbing onto the roofs.
This was so much easier in the last world.... he thought
So instead of causeing more trouble, Kaid decided to simply sit on the stairs, like a normal person... although who would call him normal.
Hopefully somthing interesting would happen before he would have to try and socialize himself... he wasn't very good at that....

For a while, Damien had avoided the centerpiece of the world, the castle; he was running away from his focus momentarily due to the attachment he was freshly developing. Generally he would do what must be done and get over with it for he can return to his sleep and forget all about it. Now that his focus dealt had a bigger destructive concept; he was intentionally delaying himself. For him, time waited for no one, but keeping a calm demeanor helps maintain the growing rate of his mark, which haven't blossomed to be noticeable to the public's eye.
Although he wasn't the biggest of social butterfly, Damien purposely placed himself in the business of the marketplace. If he was to be alone, he would go back to think and contemplating about the inevitable. The busy people and activity were his distraction, so he amused himself by being attentive. If there was an event he would attend; if there was a shop nearby, he would casually browse with no interest in purchasing; when there were rumors about, he would nonchalantly listen.
Already there were murmurs about the rough adolescence. With the world being safer than before, the youth tends to roam and plague the area, which can easily lead to being troublesome whether it was vandalizing out of boredom or...climbing on roofs. The L'Cie brows wrinkled not seeing why would anyone seek amusement in climbing the roof tops. People had done overtime work to reconstruct this world and city to be stepped on and be prone to more unneccessary damages.
The people here were quite diverse, yet they all had a common problem. The darkness that rippled in their hearts. This was the impurity he was set to erase, since supposively at one point darkness wasn't a norm, but some how someone had rewritten the planes and balance forging light and darkness to form a duality. Even if duality is fine with balance; one would try to overpower the darkness, and thus far he haven't seen the negativity of light. As a mere test, he reached into his pocket to clutch unto his bag of munny. What do the darkness in their hearts react to?
Feigning obliviousness, the pouch fell out of his pocket as he strolled down a flight of stairs. Although it was a petty test, greed can stretch to many forms and planes like money and power.

Kaid had stopped playing attention a little while after sitting down, since he was a little more concered with looking at the veiew of the place.
This world so far was much diffent from th others he had been too, and he hadn't even been here very long. Kaids temperary space out was interupted when he had heard somthing fall to the ground. He looked at the stairs in ront of him, and realized that someone had passed by him without even relizeing it.
Kaid also saw the munny pouch on the ground, not far behind said person.
Kaid stood up, and quickly retrieve the pouch. "Excuse me Mr. You dropped this." kaid said, tapping the stanger on the shoulder as he spoke to get their attention.
Kaid had always been a kind person, even if his praimary entertainment would say otherwise.

Damien blinked to himself in surprise. He never thought of himself so odd to be talked to so formally; it felt awkward to referred to as Mr. He turned his head and puffed a strand of white hair from his face looking down at the youth. He was a male, which would seem different, since one would assume stereotypically a female would show such kindness. He outstretched his hand for the pouch, "Thanks."
He opened it with his fingers before digging through it momentarily. He found an orange crystal and tossed it to the kid. With the different places he had been around, he had some trinkets to spare. He wouldn't really need it to move about, since he would be transported naturally when it all falls apart, "It's resourceful at tight spots; use it wisely."

Well this was confuseing.
Kaid haddn't really expected to get anything in return for simply helping someone keep possetion of their things. What was even more confuseing though, was what he was given, or more like caught since it was thrown at him.
Kaid looked at the Crystal, very focused on how shiny it was as he turned it in his hand. It was pretty as it was as a normal crystal, but the extra "use it wisely" threw him off. How would you use a crystal wisely? all I could see one used for in a "tight spot" is for chucking at someones head, or blinding.... Kaid thought, then returned to look at the man.
"Thank you..... But, uh... What do you mean use it wisely? is it more then just a shiny cyrstal?" He asked and smiled kindly.
First impression.. generally a very important thing for kaid. since he looked scary enough naturally; with his devilish looking yellow eyes and black hair. He had to constantly make sure people knew he wasn't going to eat them!

"If you think of it as just a crystal, then it would be useless." Damien replied without much more added information about the teleporting stone, "if you keep an open mind, then it will work. Simple enough?"
The L'Cie asked the youth, while he blinked making his expression seem even more flatter. He wasn't the most expressive individiual and try to speak with as less words as possible.

( i sorry i haven't posted in a whil, i forgot i hadda thready here XD )
Kaid was getting more and more curious about this stone he was presented with. I wonder what this thing acctually does.... he thought as he was instucted to keep an open mind.
"Well.. ok then, thank you!" Kaid said and smiled at the stranger.
"I'm pretty good at keeping my mind open. he said and decided to have a little bit of fun with his powers. Kaid make the illusion of a beautiful butterfly appear in his outstretched hand, to show the man that had just given him the stone. But he easily manipulated the creature by fliping his hand upside down. The butterfly turned to dust.
But kaid soon moved his other hand under the fallin remains and threw them back up into the air. They returned to being a butterfly in his hand.

"Keep an open mind?" Damien asked in wonder if that's what he was refering to, "I can easily use that crystal I gave you."
He have ran into magicians that bring forth such illusions, so he wasn't exceedingly amazed; then again, Damien wasn't one to loose his cool demeanor so easily or become overly excited or distraught.
"So how long have you been practicing that?" He asked to start conversation, since he didn't feel like being rude of walking off.

(XD no problems. My posts are short as well...then again Damien doesn't say much)
"Sounds like a prodigy in the making," Damien replied before pausing wondering if what he may say next would put too much weight on the ongoing conversation," unless that's a norm where you're from."
He guessed he was a foreigner, since many including himself was. He doubt he would know where the boy was from; then again he couldn't expect people to know what's Gran Pulse. Actually he himself never concerned himself with the fate of his world; he assumed it was fine, since he still continue to awake with more focuses unless the fal'cie had moved on elsewhere making their priorities move from one world to the universe as a whole. They commanded him to help rewrite or they would rewrite his humanity into a forsaken life of hell.

Kaid shook his head, neither of those things where very true. He wasn't a protogy.... Kaid really wasn't that smart! However, his powers weren't anything like the ones back on hs work.... all the other people around had more... practical powers; like elemental powers.
" Neither of those really.... I'm in no way smart enough to be a prodogy, and people in my world... didn't really have these kind of powers... most used things like fire or electricity... but no one I knew of had illusive powers." Kaid said and called them off so he would have to do extra thinking while talking to this guy. "Somtimes I wish I had normal powers... they'd come in a lot more handy..."
