In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

He'd always been restless, unable to resist the temptation to always be in motion. In most cases, his inner turmoil to move or not to move seemed to have a mind of its own, buzzing just beneath his skin when the situation was serious and flaring up when he was on his own.
Like now.
Once again Reno found himself up at the Bailey, grunting with mock effort as he bent down to pluck an opaline jewel from the ground. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the remains of his cigarette, the one he lit mere seconds before the Morning Star appeared. He mourned the loss of his cigarette before noticing the odd, light blue smoky glow around the object in his hand. A part of him nearly dropped it, not knowing if he should really even be holding it; alas, the redhead shrugged and slipped the jewel into his pocket. If it burned a hole through his pocket, then he'd be quite amused.
"The Moogle should know what to do with it." He said to himself, picturing the floating big-nosed creature from the Marketplace. Or somewhere. But instead of heading off in the Moogle's general direction, the Turk leaned against the edge of the Bailey to look out at the Villain's Vale. Quickly bored with standing in silence, he decided to recline in it instead. He shifted, and hopped up onto the ledge he was previously leaning against, and stretched out his legs as his back was to the wall. His hands were up and his fingers laced behind his head to make a sort of pillow. Despite the lack of safety guards to keep him from rolling over the edge, the redhead appeared to be quite relaxed, blue-green eyes closed.
"Hands to yourself, yo." He said to his faux enemy, the one he swore was always following him and had been since becoming a Turk. "If I fall, you're comin' down with me." It was always better to be safe than sorry, anyway.

k S a H i I r O i
From her scouting, where she roamed into undesirable territory that would be off-limits, Kairi decided she had enough 'fun' for one day. A Crimson Jazz nearly burned her hair, which already had a fading coating of black dye to mask her natural ginger sensation. This time during her escapade she was alone; the last time she met a youthful spunky Akira. Despite how young and blind he was to the circumstances around him ,he had an upbeat spirit; for a moment, he had reminded her of Sora in that light.
Her arms stung from the constant fending of her keyblade; although it was light, it took a lot of effort to fend off her heavier opponents. Those Morning Stars weren't no joke, nor were they itching to hold back for her sake. Even when it got to heavy, all she had to do was conduct light to propel them along enough to either leave or finish them off. Coming towards the Bailey, the Princess was sluggishly walk with the keyblade swinging to and fro. The little exhaustion had made her forget about her paranoia of revealing herself.
The world should be safe. Tron isn't permitting Maleficient, the Heartless, and the Nobodies, so I should be good....right
For a moment, she held her breath to slow down her heart rate for she can stop panting like a dog. Kairi swore if Sora and Riku would see her now they would laugh their pants off. Although she was the girl to get down and dirty 'at times' on the Islands doesn't mean she was in tip-top shape.
Maybe I should run laps or some-
A patch of red hair...spikey red hair. Every now and then when she sees the color red her blood would boil at the thought of the spikey tresses and mischevious green eyes that would twinkle with playfulness. Her nose twitched to a wrinkle. How in the worlds Axel was able to get in here, she had no idea; regardless Kair was going to give her a piece of her mind! He had practically stalked and kidnapped her to be used against Sora for his own selfish reasonings. On top of that he was apart of the Organization, which meant he wasn't welcomed here. Even remembering his name made her want to scream.
Now to whip off that smug smile that had been taunting her memory. The keyblade vanished with a gleam as she stomped towards him. When did Kairi ever got this bold was unknown to her, but she wasn't going to question it as she gave a punch to the arm as a greeting, "Hey! You have some nerve."
As her mouth opened, she had forgotten one thing. She wasn't strolling about as Kairi, but Shio, and already she had slipped. "If I fall, you're comin' down with me."
H-h-he wouldn't even look at her. Let alone ACKNOWLEDGE her. Now she wanted to push him off the edge. We'll see about that
She doubted she could fatal kill Axel, nor was she trying to as her palm faced his face as light accumalated.
He was more used to blades and bullets hitting him than a tiny little fist. Hell, he even swore the Heartless had claws. So when his arm was punched, Reno bit back a snort. Was that supposed to hurt? Well, it wasn't as light as a feather but by no means did it do any actual damage. That was what kept him from instantly hitting back of course, the fact that any of his enemies- imaginary or not- would've tried to land a much harder blow when his eyes were closed than that little punch. And he was the one with the nerve?
Then his skin began to tingle. It was the creepy-crawly feeling he gets after being stared at for a certain amount of time. The corners of his lips curled up into a smirk, and one blue-green eye was cracked open to look at his "attacker."
There was a hand. In his face.
And it was beginning to glow.
Without saying another word, both his eyes flew open and one hand reached out to snatch the tiny wrist of the other's. With a short, quick motion, his other hand tightened on the hilt of his Mag Rod as it slid out from inside his sleeve.
"What the hell, yo?" He asked, narrowed eyes watching the stranger's every move. "What part of hands to yourself didn't you memorize?"

Brows dipped at the grip, and naturally Kairi began to tug her hand back as she was being chastized. Her teeth gritted together as she began yanking her hand away. She actually stopped and glared at him feeling the weight of his words. It would be typical of him to be a complete hypocrite.
Sapphire glared at Emerald and noticed that this lunatic was literally serious; he doesn't even have a right to look so irrate, especially what the heck he have done to her...such as dragging her throughout the countryside and the universe, "Oh yeah, that's rich coming from you"
"You don't," she tugged her hand back harder," know the meaning off hands to yourself!and I memorized alot you, you EMOTIONLESS SELF-CENTERED OBNOXIOUS HYPOCRITE!"
She felt her hand slip against his as she grunted and pushed her legs back to pull harder. Luckily she was born with two; stretching out her left palm to grab his face, it blazed white as light channeled from her heart and out of her hand. Whiteness flashed throughout the bailey and faded far from the Villian's Vale. She hoped that Nobody fell despite if he would use the Corridor of Darkenss to re-emerge right next to her. Kairi wasn't going to allow herself to be drag around like a ragdoll without kicking, screaming, biting, and blinding first.
He would have laughed at her first few attempts at trying to break his grip, but dammit, he wanted answers. One red eyebrow quirked at the girl's glare, because he wasn't stupid, and even he could see it held some actual heat. What's rich coming from him? The fact that he's the one making sense in a conversation for once? Yeah, if he looked at it that way he could understand.
"You aren't the one who just had a rude awakening." He said, grip tightening on his Mag Rod while loosening around her wrist. She started up again and he listened to her words, trying to figure out just what the hell was happening. As far as he can remember, they've never met before. So what was this little black-haired spitfire trying to do? Was she wanting to start a fight? Because damned if he'd start it by hitting a girl, sudden annoyance or not.
"I didn't start this, princess!" He said, more of a growl than anything at that point. Of course, he didn't know she was really a Princess. But her attitude reminded him of the children back in Gaia, mainly the girls who would do something bad then throw a fit when they were caught, thus acting like a spoiled Princess. "What in Shiva's name do my emotions have to do with this?"
She reached out and touched his face, and his green eyes widened in confusion. From her earlier comment he expected her to slap him, not simply land her hand on his face. But a stranger's hand, especially someone who just recently punched him, in such close proximity was never a good thing. He angled his Mag Rod so that the tip was to her side, and he gave her a small warning shock right before he was blinded by a sudden light. For a single heartbeat, Reno was frozen, not knowing whether the light came from the brat in his hands or not. Then he realized she wasn't in his hands anymore, he was in hers.
So naturally, he almost toppled over the edge to his death.
"Dammit, kid!" Reno shouted, scrambling as he felt Gravity tugging him down, nearly too far. His hands- well, one Mag Rod and one hand- latched on to the ledge as his lower half dangled over the side, opposite from the girl. Meaning he had nothing to stand on. Knowing that if she was the source of this god-awful light, she could probably see perfectly fine, so she'd probably try to loosen his grip on the ledge as well. And from her ranting and raving, he wasn't sure that breaking his hands to do so would be beyond her.
"Let's see if I'm right, yo." He snapped, the smirk now replaced by a sneer. Quickly and with a grunt of actual effort this time, the Turk pulled himself back up onto the ledge and dive-rolled, hoping she'd have the sense to move the eff out of his way before he crashed into her. Due to the light, he still couldn't see a thing, which caused a minor panic. He'll trap her in a pyramid the mere second he sees the brat again. Trust. Or he'd shock her, whichever comes first. "I remind you of some prick, ain't that right?"
If only Rude were here. Those shades of his actually would've come in handy for once. The light may have faded, but there were still large dots swimming across his vision as he tried blinking them away.

Their voices had rang in an endless bickering, and one thing led to another. Blind was still released, and her hand flinched back feeling a sting as her body curved away from it rod to not touch it again. Kairi heard his shout, but couldn't see him until the light had finally faded. Looking around she didn't see Axel in sight, but she did saw a single hand gripping the cobblestone of the Bailey.
Looking at his face, she could tell it worked, but there was something different about that face. Why Kairi even remembered details of Axel was beyond her, but she knew that narcissist would enjoyed that. Her brows wrinkled in confusion seeing a difference. The black dashes under his eyes were gone; instead they had curved to the outer edge and turned red. His hair was far much shorter...in a sense unless you count that ponytail. Then again, it has been over a year since they had crossed each other, and she didn't keep up with Axel's wherebout and activities to even care to know. Kairi was thinking over the differences until he called her kid.
Seriously that was an unneccessary blow; he darn well knew her name for kingdom hearts sake. She watched him dangle in a stare. Why wasn't he portaling to get out? Thinking of that as a safety net, she wasn't concerned until he didn't use it as the opportune moment. Did all of a sudden he couldn't use it anymore?
Holy Moogle Poms...if he was Axel Tron would've reacted. If he was Axel, then he surely would be mocking her and certainly wouldn't be playing STUPID! Her mind was reeling as if it was solving a complex math problem, and her pair of doe like blue eyes widdened.
"Let's see if I'm right, yo." he replied as if he could read her expression, and he looked...pissed.
"Oh crap...," feeling herself snap out of it, she reached out to tug him back over. He was certainly no light weight as she bended her knees to pull him harder until he was crashing on the floor making her fall over.
"I remind you of some prick, ain't that right?" The last word echoed in her head as she just sat there looking stupid. Everything she was seeing and hearing wasn't Axel. Axel didn't carried a rod; he carried chakras, and he wouldn't hesitate to show them. Axel didn't wear those clothes, but it's not like a guy could change wardrobe. It seemed the more she stared at him, the more he talked, and the longer she reflected...she had doubts.
"Y-you're not...A-axel.." If he wasn't Axel, then she nearly let another guy, a random guy, who certainly looked and sounded like Axel, fall off the Bailey. Naturally her eyes began to water, "....ooooh no."
She had blinded a person she doesn't even know, and she had no idea how to reverse it. All she could do was wait until it faded and ask the worse question ever, "a-are you....okay?"
The spots before his eyes faded, and Reno paused, wanting to spend a heartbeat or two memorizing what the girl looked like before he trapped her in a pyramid for Merlin only knows how long. She pushed him off the Bailey, so it's not like he would be considerate enough to sit down and talk to her about her problems. He had enough of them anyway, and didn't need some overactive child with a temper as well.
Then she spoke. He was honestly expecting more acccusations- like what, was he not properly sprawled out on the ledge? The Turk blinked, because she said nothing of the sort. His eyebrows quirked in confusion, and he half-heartedly scanned their surroundings for this "Axel" she apparentally mistook him for. His hold on his Mag Rod loosened, and hesitantly lowered to his side.
"I may not know who you are, yeah," he started, the steel-like gleam in his eyes growing softer the longer he watched her, "And the only 'Axel' I know is on the armoured trucks back at Shrina..."
She was- he couldn't- some sort of distraction tactic, right? He trailed off, his epic "Take this, twerp" speech falling apart as he watched the doe-eyed girl before him begin to tear up. His expression was a mixture of apologetic and horrified, mainly because he personally compared watching a kid's waterworks to watching a train-wreck in motion.
"But it takes more than that to take a good Turk down, yo." He said, suddenly feeling like he had to convince her that he was fine lest she start crying on him. Out of habit, he lifted his left arm, bending it at the elbow to prop the Mag Rod on his shoulder. His sneer had vanished, now replaced by a crooked grin. It seemed she really didn't mean to attack him, but had done so only after mistaking him for someone else. And boy, did he pray for the man she was actually after, because she fought decently for being such a small girl. To him, at least.
"What if we start again?" He offered, outwardly looking as if the past few moments hadn't happened- which meant his posture screamed "lazy"- while inwardly he was praying to the Lifestream that she didn't break down. In greeting, he held out his right hand. "The name's Reno, kid. You gonna tell me why I'm glad it ain't Axel?"

I'm such an idoit. I'm such an idoit. I'm such an idoit. her hands ran up to grip her hair, while her thumbs rubbed her ears to sooth herself. Her mouth opened in a panic to vomit an never ending flow of apologies, but he beat her to the punch.
Her mind decided to punish her with images of him falling and the 'what could've' over and over again. Personally she was five fingers away from severly hurting someone, which took a heavy blunder on her motivation for many things as they were placed on the back burner. She looked up at him not seeing a trace of anger on his expression, but she still couldn't help not feeling guilty or wrong. Even what he said made everything lighter, it was wrong to jump the gun even when there was too many similarities to throw her off.
As he proposed a redo, she looked up at him confused; Kairi was uncertained if she had heard him right, while her eyes still stung and blurred her vision a bit, "huh?"
She saw his hand stretched out to her as a formal greeting. Slowly she reached out for his, and for a split second, her brows dipped at the term 'kid'. Normally she would've retailiated, but seeing the circumstance he had some freeshots to indulge himself in until the guilt faded. "It's Ka-...."
She began on the wrong note nearly forgetting, "Shio."
"Regardless...that was wrong...even if Axel wouldn't have fallen or anything," Axel could've said himself and dangle that in front of her face playfully. Still she would've done that to the actual Axel anyway, because she knew that she still couldn't put him in dangerous hazard unless he let her. "He probably would still not be able to see for some time though with some bruises..."
Shaking her head, she knew was getting off track as she looked up at him, "I'm really really...really really sorry. I don't know what to do...to make up for this."
Then she simply stared at him to fill in the blank, she wasn't going to stop pushing his buttons about it and wasn't going to take any 'it's okay' to pave it all over.
Oh damn, she was starting to break down. He could see it, she had her hands in her hair and her mouth open to cry- or, stare at him in that brilliant impression of a gaping fish pose. What?
She was smart, not immediately reaching for his offered hand. He wouldn't have, especially not if the hand belonged to a person he nearly killed on accident. But, since he was the owner of the hand, he knew nothing would happen and she'd be safe. It's not like he had plans to pick her up and toss her over the edge- but, had she been Elena, he would've done so in the blink of an eye. The thought made him chuckle, remembering the happier times back at Shinra when the Turks were all in contact- hell, when they were in the same world.
His eyes narrowed again, more in observation than anger this time, at the slip up of her name. Or that's what he thought it was. Either way, he decided it was best to let her believe she fooled him. After all, it wouldn't be good to start off their second introduction on the wrong note...again. The way she spoke of Axel made him wonder how she really felt about the man, seeing as how she was confident enough that he wouldn't have fallen over the edge like the Turk. But then she says he probably wouldn't walk away without a few bruises.
One, thin red eyebrow quirked at her last comment. Or moreso the tone, as well as the way she looked up at him with those doe-eyes. He slipped the Mag Rod back up into his sleeve out of habit, now that they weren't fighting. Did she really think she had to make up for it?
No, did she realize what she was walking herself into?
He shook his head, trying to bite back his smirk. Poor girl, obviously she wasn't used to dealing with Turks.
"Don't worry about it, yo." He said, a lame attempt to gloss over the situation before he said something stupid. Not that he was that wild- regardless of his "reputation, which was mainly gossip anyway- especially because he didn't know how old she was. Hell, he didn't even know if he could make a joke without shattering her bubble of innocence. "You already apologized, and it was a mistake. Besides, I've been through worse, kid." He winked.

"It's Shio," Kairi corrected for the first time as her eyes hardened on him for a moment not admiring the title kid. She didn't drag herself all over the place to be treated like one. "And even for a mistake that was wrong...you could've fell if I haven't noticed sooner..."
She spoke indirectly of her stubborness, since personally an apology wasn't enough despite how much he grinned or winked to brush things over. Ironically being hard herself turned to being hard on him as she stared at him blankly not taking anything less for an acknowledged answer.
It only didn't get worse, because she felt doubt about who he was. If he was Axel and if he had mocked her, yes Kairi would've bashed his fingers to shove him off. It was more for a release of frustration rather than intentionally doing him harm, since she doubt she could unless she continued using light against him.
"Made up your mind yet?" her head titled as she sat up on her knees to push herself off to stand up on her feet. She offered a hand to help him up just to be friendly along with her drive to make amends. "Out of curiousity...why that as a tattoo? That is a difference between you and him...his are black, but are verticle below his eyes."
She drew her fingers on her face as a visual, "And your hair seems...shorter. Are you sure you don't have a twin?"
Both eyebrows rose at her correction, and he couldn't help but mentally smirk at the change of her tone. But as she continued, the Turk rolled his eyes up towards the skies.
"And if I would've had my eyes open, I could've stopped you before you even thought of pushing me." He told her, wondering how women could constantly blame themselves for one little thing. But he did nothing other than stand there and stare back at the girl, obviously not knowing what she was expecting.
But since when has he been one to give others exactly what they expect? Never.
"Of course I have." He said, as if he'd decided what she would do to make up for her mistake. When in reality he had no clue whatsoever. She stood then offered him a hand, to which he blinked at in confusion for a moment. He couldn't decide if it would be worse to ignore the help or accept it; the victim was either her feelings- again- or his pride. Reaching up, the redhead placed his hand in her much smaller one and stood, putting only the least amount of his weight on her aide. He didn't want to knock her over, afterall.
"These things?" Reno asked, eyes widening slightly at her curiosity. He released her hand, raising that very one up to trace the thin lines that curved below his eyes. Leave it to her to bring Axel back into the conversation. Hmph. Perhaps she didn't hate the man as much as she wanted him to believe? He smirked anyway, tilting his head just enough to give her a sly look. "They're what happens when you're at the pub with the rest of the Turks, kid."
Idly, he wondered if she was even old enough to drink. Probably not, which meant the story wouldn't be nearly as funny as it would if she'd experienced the feeling herself. Hence why he called her kid again.
Wait. Their hair was similar? Impossible! He was the only one who could successfully pull this hairstyle off, obviously. Anyone else who tried simply looked like an idiot. An idiot he took great amusement in laughing at.
"I'm sure, yo. You're lookin' at an only child." He said, pointing at himself. Naturally, he knew he didn't need to reach up and fix his hair- it looked better whenever he let it do its own thing. "So I guess this Axel of yours is a redhead too?" Rhetorical question. "Not a common colour, I suppose. Unlike yours." He motioned to her own hair, unaware it was dyed to be that shade.
The Turk paused, having a sudden epiphany. Or something like it.
"Let's try it this way, yo." He began, reaching into his pocket for another cigarette. It just hit him that he never bothered lighting another after the Heartless attacked, and it would give him something to do. Expertly he continued speaking, even with the cigarette now between his lips. "You tell me what this twin of mine- obviously less handsome than I am, y'know-" because he wouldn't be Reno without a comment like that, "-did to make you want to push him off the Bailey, and we'll call it even." Watching her with green eyes, he lit the cigarette, quickly returning the lighter to his pocket.

Kairi looked at him skeptically before giggle snorting; it sounded like someone took one too many to the head to be out of whack to get tattoes under his eyes like that. Nope, Kairi never indulged herself with alcohol. Sure in the sanctity of her home, her mom permitted her to try whine, but that wasn't a frequent pasttime. Actually Kairi never had a tatoo either.
From those she know who had it, they claimed it felt like multiple cigarrette burns, as if she would know how that would feel like. Sure in her past she had played with fire and got a minor burn, but nothing so continously like cigarrette burns. Still she wondered how much it would sting to get them on one's face. A finger carressed her cheek for a moment pondering on that.
"And...it's Shio," she replied firmly. Kairi knew he didn't have a hearing problem, and it seemed there may be more similarities between this guy and Axel than what scratched the surface. Her brows dipped out how he phrased it 'Axel of hers'; she couldn't hold back a snort at that. Mentally she merely grumbled. Hearing his question, she merely nodded in affirmation, then her blue eyes drifted to her bangs.
Seems like the dye is still good...
"Hm?" Kairi's curiousity perked as she watched the other light a cigarrette. How ironic she was just thinking about them...but she would perfer that to never kiss her skin. A brow arched at the less handsome comment; seriously if they looked to identical how can one be more handsome than the other. The redhead stiffened feeling her eye twitch at her word choice. She snapped out of it wondering why he gained the interest, then again if someone nearly pushed her off the Bailey she would want answers as well.
"He used me against a close friend of mine and practically lured him to danger, because of me," her arms folded over her chest. There was also a personal vendetta as it seemed like he grabbed with hardly any problems; she should've been the worst captive he ever taken with rebellion, fighting, and fleeing. "For that, yes...I will push him off of any edge and cliff."
Knowing better than to mention anything, Reno kept his mouth shut when he saw Shio lift one hand to her cheek. Typical sign of someone without tattoos of their own, so he was used to it. Damn right he took one to many something or anothers to the head that night, because as fearless as he was on Missions- or as talented as he was at masking his fears- he was terrified of needles. He shuddered just then, merely thinking about the horrid things.
Again, she corrected him. Of course he knew her name was Shio, it's not like his memory was that poor. Still, the way she continued to speak up made his eyes shine with amusement. Almost as a sign of voluntary disregard for her preference, Reno moved the cigarette from his lips and tilted his head back, exhaling near perfect smoke rings up into the air. Already he felt a small part of his tension burn away as the nicotine hit his system. He also noted that she hadn't made a comment on his smoking.
"We talkin' real danger or kiddie danger?" He couldn't help but ask, not interested in hearing some sob story about a mother's broken crystal vase and that she was used to keep the children quiet. Chuckling at an idle thought, the redhead took another drag from his cigarette. "So you're mad at him for putting your little friend in danger?"
Perfectly acceptable reason, one he knew from personal experience. But something didn't add up. Shio didn't mention anything about what happened to that friend of hers, so he assumed they didn't die because of Axel. So what was she pissed at? These thoughts happened all at once, as he was used to thinking on his feet. Having a general idea of where on the Bailey he was standing, he took three steps backwards until his back hit the wall, where he could lean against it.
"Or maybe you were an easy target." He said, taking another drag. "Ain't no one that ticked unless it's personal, yo." More smoke rings. Endangering a friend was personal, true, but not enough to push someone to their death. Even though Axel apparentally wouldn't have died. He didn't really know why he kept asking questions, but there wasn't a good enough reason to leave her alone. Maybe he lied, and answering his question was only a small part of her payback. The other part would be to entertain him for a while, because it'd been quite a while since the last time Reno held an actual conversation with someone other than himself. His ranting and raving at Heartless while destroying them most certainly did not count.

"Of-course it wasn't kiddy danger unless dragging me from world to world to be another pawn in their hands to get to him is a norm and childish," the youth snorted and a bit irked that she wasn't being taken seriously. Perhaps she should shove him over the Bailey since he's too Turkish to fall off, "if it wasn't a big deal I would've pulled a prank, pour ice down his pants, or something."
It dawned on her, and her face scrunched in a frown. Normally Kairi is quite the go with the flow girl to hardly get her feather ruffled in a bunch. But like Axel, Reno was ruffling her feathers in the wrong way. Her knuckles rested on her hips as the right hip cocked to the side, Do you find me that stupid or that immature to want to shove you off the Bailey over something kiddy? Seriously I may look young, but that doesn't mean I'm young and dumb."
"And it is personal if you're normally tugged, which puts the people you care about in danger. Soo I take it friendship isn't something to take personally for you," her head titled in a challenged. Mentally she charted where Reno's priorities were perhaps just lounging, smoking, and drinking. "This happened to him twice already, and I don't want to be seen as bait or a lure to just shove and push around again; I'm not allowing a third time around."
Her arms moved back over her chest as she leaned against the Bailey's balcony to look off towards the odd architecture that laid out there. Her brows scrunched not remembering that being there the last time she was here. Then again most of her consciousness at the time was fleeing from the immense darkness with Sora, Donald, and Goofy leaving Riku behind. Looking at it, she concluded that it wasn't too welcoming like the rest of the world that has been restored; with her adventurous edge and curiousity still strong she wonders what was or is there.
"Is that childish enough for you, Reno?" That was the first time she said his name, which seemed awkward since he would be the first Reno she knew of. Where was he from anyway? She doesn't rememeber him in particular with this world; instead she knew more of his look-alike.
The Turk chuckled darkly, holding his right hand up in a sign of mock surrender as his left knocked the gathering ashes off his cigarette over the Bailey's edge. Green eyes watched the ashes fall where he should've, and a part of him wondered why everything he said always managed to piss people off regardless of his intentions.
"Ice down the pants never gets old, yo." He said, and when he looked back up at her his eyes lacked that certain glitter of amusement. Obviously she took something he'd said in the entirely opposite direction, otherwise she wouldn't be giving him The Look. Her name rolled off his tongue with a bit of a snarl, and knowing his temper was about to get the best of him, he took another drag.
"Don't think you can start goin' around and judging people, yo." He told her, trying not to show how much the friendship comment actually hurt. He takes friendship very, very seriously, and somedays it killed him inside that he hadn't found any of his friends since Gaia fell to darkness.
"I ain't gonna tell you you're childish or stupid, if that's what you're asking." He said, cheekily blowing smoke rings in her general direction as the look in his eyes softened, not nearly as humorless as it was before. The cigarette was nearing its end, and he made a note to keep an eye on it before it burned his fingers.
"This friends of yours, any idea where he is?" It was a bit of a random question, but he didn't feel like his explaining his first one as to what sort of danger she was mixed in with. "Sounds to me like you'd be close, yo, if you're enough to lure him into anything."
