In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(this post looks way longer in the typey area D8)
Fiona as acctually quite surprised at the way the man took her fighting words. Smashing in the table, that was it? she had expected a lot more out of this guy... but she could also tell he was trying hard not to fight her.
Fiona sat pretty still during her little display, showing no fear or intimidation.
"Fine, fine, Whatever." she said, practically rolling her eyes. "It's an unusual kind of marking, so I was just curious how you got it." she said, trying to lead him into explaining, although he told her to drop it.
Fiona sat back in her chair as well, and placed her hands on the top back of her head, waiting to see what he would do next.
Mordecai only responded to her with silence. He was going to do everything he could to not yell at her or do anything that would make her not help him. He stared at the piece of the table he had broken off for a moment and then looked back at Fiona. "Maybe we should leave. I don't feel like paying for that, and I don't think you do, either." As he said that, he got up and grabbed all his stuff. "Let's go," he said, as he started to walk out. If she didn't come, he would have to deal with that, he supposed. If she did, he'd have to deal with that, too.
