In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There was not a single sliver of civilization in sight. However, somewhere amongst the rocky dunes, the girl presumed a residence existed. The same residence she was expected to go looking for. Reluctantly looking over at "Shio", she didn't answer at first, instead opting to keep her focus on the area around them.
"Just a delivery company," she bluntly explained, not having much to add on top of that. It was quite obvious that there was more to her business on the outskirts of Radiant Garden, but those were most certainly details that she wouldn't divulge.
A minute had passed as they crossed the indigo plains. Still very tight-lipped, the girl known as Leiz took a turn towards the east. Her head gestured in that direction, informing her acquaintance that the delivery point was nearby. Out to the east existed a very peculiar path, one that wouldn't have been noticeable unless they were out this far. A canyon-like trail was etched into the terrain, surrounded on both sides by jagged walls of indigo-colored rock that served to obscure the path from view.
The girl with the emerald hair was unaware of what dangers may have lied down that path, not even picking up on the slightest sliver of darkness. However, she seemed recklessly confident in their combined abilities, giving "Shio" a once-over with her eyes, taking a casual interest in her. "So. Are you not from around here, either?"

"Yes and no," Kairi replied; it became the routine answer to that question, "simply put it, I was born here, had a life here, but I was too young to remember much, yet I was raised in another world."
This was normally where she lost people with the loops of her life, but she merely said two words which can spoke for themselves, "heartless activity."
It was strange within itself to legitally have two homes, while her birthplace practically had a severed connection with, since only a few faces stood out her in memory, and one was her grandmother. She had no recollections of her biological parents, yet her heart was filled with her adoptive parents on the islands. All she had in Radiant Garden was it's committee and the figment of her grandmother, while on the Islands, she had a family, freinds, school, etc.
"Regardless...I know for sure I don't remember this place, then again I heard this world was truly something else back them. I think it even dazzled." The only thing that dazzeled down was the black waves of darkness with arriving heartless as a familiar ripple of darkness wavered lightly.
"Dazzled, huh?" she asked with a raised brow, contemplating the reality of what Radiant Garden could have looked like back then. It was rather peculiar how they insisted on calling this place that. Given its surroundings and appearance, it looked nothing of the sort. It was still closer to the "Hollow Bastion" that residents used to call it. "It's kinda hard to believe that."
Unbeknownst to the woman, darkness had found its way out, about and into the rocky crevasse, coalescing and dispersing into wicked shapes totally unlike that of anything human or natural. When her eyes had finally averted themselves from what lied ahead, she knew. She knew that this path was not safe. Frankly, nothing in Radiant Garden was completely safe. The heartless insisted on sticking their yellow eyes in every corner of the world.
This wave of heartless was considerably more prepared and vicious than the last, as if they knew how capable and dangerous their adversaries were. Armored Knights were only but few in number. This time, they were joined by several, fat-bodied heartless, and more notably, giant, spiked spheres. Visibly angered at their persistence, the girl stopped walking and turned to "Shio", spewing out a few words of warning. "Looks like we've got company."

"I know right," Kairi couldn't really phantom it's previous dazzling nature; it's still seems like it was in its transition from Hallow Bastion to Radiant Garden. "It's easier to quickly destroy something, but it's takes longer to re-"
A twinge wavered over her as her eyes shifted over in a weary alert manner, This doesn't feel good.
"...build."
Darkness had dropped off its spawns, which looked like a handful by Kairi's mental counting. After a while she just had to stop the counting and focus what was in front of her. Perhaps the Princess did bit off more than she can chew, but regardless she would have to swallow it down.
"Mm more like an audience," with a shimmer her keyblade returned; it would be stupid to resist its assistance in a corner like this. If only they were closer, she would be able to conduct a succesful blind; she had very few long distance attacks for she can hinder and put some at bay for they won't be ambushed and overwhelmed all at once. Wave had already caused a drainage, so she stick with what was liable. To get a better target, she trotted forward before pointing the blade forward summoning water to funnel and shot out.
With its range low it was only able to get one enemy at a time, but Kairi moved her arms like a sprinklers for she can attempt to keep as much back as possible.
"No time like the present," since the blade was a light weight, she held it solo with her left hand as she shot light with right.
Immediately concerned with the number of heartless that had made themselves known, the woman doubled back slightly, putting more distance between her and "Shio". She surmised that staying right beside someone else was a bad idea when there were types of enemies that relied on that kind of event happening. "Let's make a bit more space ..."
The group of Morning Stars almost seemed distressed to see that the two females had visibly separated themselves by a few good feet, making their all-too-familiar hit-and-run tactic much less effective. Still, what they had was numbers. The somebodies' simple strategy wouldn't suffice on its own.
An armored knight and one of its fellow, fat-bodied allies approached the emerald-haired girl with a threatening pace, the large body's arms lumbering back and forth dangerously close to its smaller brethren's head. Perceiving this, the girl sidestepped and withdrew her sidearm in nearly an instant, firing off one well-placed shot into the armored knight's chest. It fell back a good two feet - two feet too close to the Large Body's arm.
What followed was not the knight's demise at the hands of the girl, but its demise at the fat-bodied heartless's misaligned volitions. The Large Body's arm cleaved right through the armored knight's body with terrifying ease, reducing it to scrap metal stained with what used to be corpreal darkness.
It stopped in its tracks, trying to reaffirm what it had just done, looking between its fallen comrade and the dangerous female who stood before him. Staring at the girl with an intense and almost-infinite yellow gaze, the fat-bodied heartless's blubbery, oafish hands slapped its chest, preparing to charge.

Splash: 2 Wave: 1
The splash had hit a Morning star before moving around to get an Armored Knight and a Large Body, but without it being concentrated to one enemy, it became more of a nuisance than an effective attack. Noticing the funnel force was dimming down, Kairi freed her left hand to throw orbs of light at an Armored Knight that began crab-walking towards her. It flailed at the light halting his movements, and the splash ceased.
Seeing that her options were low, Kairi gripped the keyblade with both hands with a firm grip threatening to bash anyone that came near her, but her blue eyes widened seeing a Morning Star launch itself in the air conducting Body Press, while a twin began it's Spin Strike. We're they both going in the same direction?
Now Kairi was doing too much thinking than acting, but as they drew closer she made up her mind. As the Morning Star began it's descent to crash, the wielder stepped back and ejected a blinding light. The heartless losed it's grace as it fell to the floor giving the girl time to attack with the keyblade without harm from the dazed and blinded heartless. Taking too much time in trying to finish the Heartless of, the spinning Morning Star haste approach caught her off guard.
Thinking quick, she tried to run out the way, but was forced farther as a mace like arm whacked her forwards. The additional forced caused her to stumble and taste dirt. That's going to leave a bruise. Learning that rolly thingy before I left would've been useful
Rolling on her back she stood back up only to hear the whirling sounds of the heartless. She raised the blade defensely with one hand, while one stetched as she shouted, "Blind!"
2 Armored Knights - 1 blinded 4 Large Bodies - 1 prepping to charge at Leiz 6 Morning Stars - 2 Blinded by Shio
Perceiving its charge, the emerald-haired woman tumbled out of the way ... just as her assailant threw itself forward with its weight, violently crashing against the spot where she was standing earlier. A crass smile crossed her face as she observed the large bodied heartless lifted itself back to its feet.
Something shook the female back to reality, however, as she noticed two of those morning stars approaching from yonder in a somewhat uniform, linear fashion. Like spinning tops, they hurtled towards her, narrowly avoiding hitting one another as they homed in on her current position. Coming to terms with her mortality, she knew that either could have subdued her without much effort, so she took a few large steps back.
Both of the heartless span by just as she had done so, making it quite impossible for them to maneuver right around and hit her. It was obvious that as far as traction was concerned, Morning Stars lacked it - all that it would take to defeat them was exploiting that lack of traction, so she quickly started mulling over possible tactics to use against them.
That was a lot more easier said than done, nevertheless, as the large body had returned to the fray, arms flailing back and forth with an almost child-like enthusiasm. Eager to claim the emerald-haired female's heart, it continued this flailing motion as it lumbered towards her, but was cut off as one of the Morning Stars sped right through the blubbery heartless without stopping. Like so many other creatures today, the large body succumbed to collateral damage, taking a large, fatal spike to its gut as it was brushed out of the way of the mace-like heartless. It collapsed and dissapated into black mist shortly afterwards, eliciting a concerned look from the green-haired beholder.
"I didn't even have to do anything," she quipped, keeping her distance from the two nearby heartless.

Putting space between her and the flash of light, Kairi missed the collision of the Morning Stars; since they had defeated each other their hearts were still claimed by the darkness leaving a sour taste in Kairi's mouth at the minicual failure. Sure it was only two, but a heart was still a heart. To make up for it, she glanced around quickly to spot her closest target. With a quick swing of the blade, the blinded knight was finished off with a clean heart floating to its wonderland beyond the laughing sky.
As she slowed down, the youth can start feeling the effects of this 'excercise'. Although her personal work out had helped, it didn't prepare her for multiple enemies all at once; what did blossomed from the heated day of sweat on the islands was determination. Stretching her arms and legs, she mentally counted what was left.
4 Morning Stars 1 Armored Knight 3 Larg-
Her count broke as large mass of darkness slide towards her. The Large Body was very round with its arms spread out leaving Kairi the only option to run. She darned right didn't want to take a chance attacking it only to be mauled over or be cut off and followed by running around it. More comfortable with the distance she pivoted and pointed the blade at the Heartless direction sending a funnel of water at its face. The black helmeted head thrashed around to avoid the stream that pained and slowed it down. As it slowed to a halt, she seized the oppurtunity.
Gritting her teeth she swung, slashed, and stabbed it's head continuously with a grunt. Her movements came swifter as the beast began to move. Reaching her hand out to grab it, she muttered, "Oh no you don't."
Another flash of light went off and another heart was free.
