In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Location;; Ravine Trails
"Finally," Kairi muttered as she waltzed out of the city's barrier unnoticed or so she thought. Her blue eyes glanced around before jogging of to the Ravine Trails; she haven't touched basis on any of the RG memebrs or Reno, but she started to wonder what if she ran into any of them during her 'expedition'.
She shrugged not seeing any harm; after all her parents are in Destiny Islands, and she needed this.
Not caring if the coast was clear or not, a stream sparkled at her hand before Destiny's Palace illuminated and appeared in her grip. With being a Princess of Heart and having a keyblade, she should be suitable heartless catnip for efficient practice.
"And if it gets too out of hand just use some light, fight back, and retreat." She had it all planned out, so nothing could go wrong right? Hearing darkness swirl and warp the expected occured, Armored Knights. The teen tilted her head looking at thier feet, "how do they stay balanced on those things?"
They weren't really feet; it was more like walking on the tips of the toes. Although she was surrounded by five, she kept her confidence and optimism high. Seriously they walked in a uniformed manner; perhaps a good whacking can knock them off balance. Croutching down, she started forward with a run as she gripped the keyblade with two hands.
1she swung horizontally to the left; 2 she swun to the right; 3 she slashed downward; 4 she spun to gain acceleration for a final swing impacting everything near by.
With the heartless at her perimeter knocked back, Kairi manuevered to get away from the center, while swinging her keyblade at any heartless that got in her way. Regardless this was 'practice' she could still identify that these were people. Stretching out one of her hands, she conducted light to free a heart from the prison of darkness.
Violet eyes not that different from the hue of Radiant Garden's outskirts cast a gaze upon the endless, mountainous landscape, taking in all that it saw. Its beholder, however, was uncaring and unfeeling. As majestic as the landscape was, it was meaningless to her.
She was a five-foot-seven something, dressed from head to toe in a black windbreaker, capri jeans and strapped-and-zippered leather boots. Her long, emerald hair blew back in the breeze, wrapping itself about her scalp, ears, and slender neck. A brown, boxed package of unknown destination, origin or purpose was lodged in betwixt her dark-skinned right arm and hip, presumably the very thing that brought her to these vicinities today.
The female adolescent walked amidst the indigo rocks, her path indeterminate, her intentions, for the most part, unknown. She quickly stopped, however, for she saw quite the most peculiar sight. A girl wielding a giant, key-shaped weapon, fighting off a rather nasty-looking group of heartless.
Her eyes unyielded, as if already familiar with the sight. She slipped past several rocks in a daring attempt to remain unseen by the girl and her attackers, unknowingly and accidentally knocking over a few pebbles.

"You can rest now," the words were for the bright pink heart floating to kingdom hearts. In a way, it was sad to see how one's life have to end such way; that was someone's child; it could've been a best friend, bother, sister, mother, father, and so, and now it just ended. It's as if one died, but never died physically to begin with.
She daydreamed a second more thinking what would it feel like if she couldn't have brought Sora- Feeling a scratch on her arm, her bright eyes blinked to see a pair of bulbous yellow staring back emotionless and without any link to who he or she once was. The idea made her hesitate and feel remorse before retalliating with the swing of her keyblade.
When did shadows got here? Feeling she had distracted herself long enough, her eyes scanned about to see what she had to work against. There were still Armored Knights around accompanied by shadows. Kairi truthfully expected this to get worse with Crimson Jazz, but she counted her blessings as her hand stretched out before ejecting streams of light.
Get a hold of yourself. The only aid you can do is to cleanse them and protect others from becoming the same. Still she wondered if she could bring back Sora, will she ever be able to do so for others? Was that the purpose of a Princess of Hearts, to call back the lost hearts trapped in darkness who's true end route is Kingdom Hearts? Exhaling she stepped forward gripping the sword with both hands again and commenced her swings and slashes. She wasn't pleased when an Armored Knight blocked her attack. "Hey!"
"Seriously I'm trying to," Kairi stressed out with every swing and rolled her eyes realizing she was talking to a heartless, "Oooo Nevermind!"
Her exclamation made it halt for a moment before being kissed by a horizontal swing with the impact of a bat. Kairi winced as the darkness released the clean heart, "Sorry."
Even lieu of the girl's supposed failings to scoot away silently, the one wielding the key-like blade hadn't even noticed her. Nevertheless, tidings didn't bode well for the green-haired woman as something came flying at her from her blind spot. A bladed object had entered her peripherals, jutting through the brown package she was holding and stopping short.
Her focus was immediately deferred to the apparition that the bladed object happened to belong to. It was a vicious Armored Knight, attacking only merely out of its hunger. He had escaped her sight before. She was too focused on the black-haired girl and her surrounding enemies to even contemplate for a second that she was being followed.
A covert, silent approach was impossible now. The package was ruined. Her goals were torn asunder. The only thing that mattered now was exacting revenge, which she so swiftly began to do by parrying around the armored specter until she was at its rear. Caught off guard, the Armored Knight soon found itself being launched several feet backward into a wall as one of her feet collided with its back.
It wobbled upon impact with the indigo surface, trying to regain its balance - which it eventually did. But the woman's assault was not over. She used the remains of the package by hucking at the Armored Knight, which it unwittingly attempted to pierce with a stab as it waddled towards the girl. The package this time, however, found itself lodged on the end of the blade, preventing it from being used as a piercing weapon for the time being.
Taking advantage of the situation, she charged in. Ducking underneath a single swipe of the Armored Knight's blade as she ran, she leapt up and delivered a flying lariat to the Armored Knight's head, crushing both its face and helmet in one fell swoop. It silently and quickly turned into a dark, evaporating cloud, leaving neither the wearer or the armaments behind.

With a trio of swings, she let one hand free to deliver the final blow with light. It was becoming a tiredsome approach to use swordmanship, then resort to using her direct source of life without her keyblade. She never had a true trainer in regards to it, so everything was pretty much learned in the heat of the moment or her days practicing on the islands. A bit frustrated at her chosen tactics, which was time consuming and bringing her to close calls of getting injured, she swung harded and instinctively yelled with her last thrust creating a blast of light at the end.
The manuever caused a drag as she felt like an exhale of energy was tugged out of her. Stutter stepping for a moment, a blur caught her attention with a clang of medeal; following the sound she saw an Armor Knight in a forced flying motion, which led her eyes to a green haired individual.
When did she get here...
Feeling darkness nearby, she made herself focus again. With a swing and whack of the keyblade, another blast of light hit the heartless, and with a pull of a wave of exhaustion, Kairi lost balanced of her stance.
Okay that was productive Kairi smiled seeing another heart free and three Armored Knights were left as two deviated from her to the green hair maiden. The shadows had seemed to waver away; perhaps not seeing an oppurtune moment to strike. Still she could still feel a noticeable drain,...but not SO productive. Time to switch gears.
Standing straight with one foot in front of another, the single handedly wielded keyblade stretched out before producing a funnel of water splashing back an Armored Knight. As it moved back, Kairi moved forward using her free hand to cast light. The only difficulty was aiming her left hand over her right arm percisely.
I hope she's holding up well, she turned her head for a moment to spot her; her lips parted to call out, but her voice went mute. She didn't want to pull a distraction on both of them, nor were the heartless patient fair fighters to give her a break as a black bug light shadow jumped out at her from now where.
She whelped and stretched out her hand conducting Light right in the heartless face. The darkness curled away leaving the heart free, but unfortunately Splash had sprinkled down with a few squirts of water.
"The green haired maiden" seemed to have her predicament handled as she turned to face the two well-armored heartless waddling towards her. Their movements were erratic, hard to read, but ultimately not enough to limit the mute female's confidence. She remained calm, cool and collected... as if this was just something she could do naturally.
Her passive, unmoving eyes revealed a sense of lingering corruption as her right hand shot for something obscure hanging from her hip, tugging on the unknown object and bringing it to view in one swift motion. It was a pistol of some kind, though its design implied otherworldiness. The barrel was pointed directly at the chestplate of one of the Armored Knights, and it could be said that it was too late for the foul heartless to even have the slightest idea of leaping out of the way.
No, it hardly had the conception of what a pistol was - but it would soon learn. Its eyes widened as a green, fizzling and dazzling ball of light spewed from the barrel of the firearm. The mere speed of the volley left it bewildered as it collided with its chestplate violently, tossing the Armored Knight back at least five feet and onto its rear. The apparition's armor was observably damaged beyond repair. The shot left a large dent in the chestplate which surrounded a gaping hole, no doubt a glaring weakpoint now.
Yet even still, its partner persevered, taking no time to acknowledge what had just happened to its brethren. It came at the girl with a fearless lunge, aiming its blade straight and true for her heart. There was no way that it could possibly miss. Most people fell to the might of these armored assailants.
On the contrary... it failed.
She sidestepped majestically and effortlessly as she holstered that dangerous sidearm at her hip, sliding past the heartless's blade as she made a sprinting jaunt towards the knight's comrade, who until this point had been removed from the battle. It stood up in a vain attempt to protect itself from what surely seemed to be an attack from the front, but it could not be further from the truth.
No, she was using the knight in a different way. It held up its bracer as she approached, but that's where it made its fatal flaw. She slid around the Armored Knight gracefully, facing towards its back. Rather than kick it in much the same fashion as before, she put an arm-lock around its neck, holding it in place as its comrade approached.
What its partner hadn't anticipated was that its brethren was being used as a shield. It likely wished that it had not been so foolhardy as it stabbed forward, striking the heartless shield in the same location that the female's pistol had happened to compromise earlier. At that instant, she let go and rolled backward, hearing the ear-wrenching sound of the chestplate being torn to scrap metal as the Armored Knight accidentally took out one of its own.

A wet heartless layed sprawled on the floor roughly four feet from Kairi, and instinctively with sixth sense in play, she swung her keyblade to the right dismissing the Armored Knight lunging at her. It's heart fluttered away cleansed leaving one more to put up with quickly. Kairi inhaled before walking towards the heartless as it began to rise. Although it would be a sad execution, it was necessary, and with a swing it had ended.
The keyblade purpose was fulfilled, and it seemed satisfied as it poofed a brighter shine then before. For now it will rest unless Kairi called it again to fully finish off the remaining to heartless if the other haven't injured it enough to make it flee. Walking over, Kairi kept in my to keep her distance, since the ring of the firearm had caught her off guard previously. She saw fit to intervene when it was neccessary or dire; plus who was she to cut in when the other was handling herself rather well efficiently and relentlessly.
This gave her the perfect oppurtunity to observed without the creeper status. What really stood out was how green her hair was? That couldn't be natural, but that was totally some vibrant hair dye. Her skin tone was very dark and dusky compared to the Islanders and people here. Perhaps she was from a new world, Kairi pondered. The idea of a foreign world brought up a different perspective in how interconnected the worlds were becoming, This can't be anygood
If their worlds were weaved so open and connected with one another than something must be terribly wrong with the inbalance, and the sooner she finished her business in Radiant Garden the sooner she can figure out why. Her mind snapped out of it seeing a lone tainted heart floating away from one of the Armored Guard as one was left behind. Frantically, she held her hand out and let a stream of light rip to meet it, pleeease make the mark.
The final armored crusader gurgled in anger, brandishing its blade at the green-haired woman. She, of course, was nowhere near the foul heartless, stepping back a good five or eight feet to put a decent amount of distance between them. She narrowed her eyes at the armored being before reaching down for that familiar sidearm, whipping it out again.
Not wasting any more time on these troubling apparitions, the woman with the emerald hair let her finger clutch tightly against the trigger, providing just the right amount of force to initiate the firearm's firing mechanism. Like before, several green, dazzling balls of light were launched from the barrel of the magnum-like pistol, each one colliding with the chestplate of the steadily-approaching knight.
The projectiles collided with the Armored Knight, one after the other... each one resulting in the heartless being pushed back a good one or two feet. After the third shot had smacked violently into the knight's armor, it had finally fallen, collapsing to both feet and vanishing into a black haze of smoke.
Having completely disposed of her adversaries, the woman with the emerald hair holstered her sidearm once more.

Wow what is that thing, she have seen pistols, but none that acted the way hers had. Her head tilted marvoled by it as she missed her chance to cleanse a heart; it had portalled away in the darkness for restoration. Luckily she may meet it again; unfortunately meeting its peace has been prolonged. She would've kicked herself for that, not paying attention, but atleast everyone involved was peachy keen. To be polite, Kairi approached the other.
"Hehe seems like I don't have to ask if you're alright. That was pretty neat, especially with that...pistol thing," she was about to voice a concern for her whereabouts here, because she never saw her before and residents hardly travel over here for safety precautions. Then again who was Kairi to play Mother Goose, she doesn't belong out here, "Are you from here? Just asking, because I've never seen you before."
She tugged at her hair for implication, "if I have I surely wouldn't have forgetten."
The emerald-haired maiden batted an eye at the other girl who was present, perhaps noting and analyzing her features in silence. The girl under study asked where the female with the gifted visage had come from, which elicited a response that was neither cheerful nor scornful.
"I'm not from around here," she mouthed, speaking in a tone and pitch that would be befitting either that of a young boy or an adolescent girl. Its true place on the spectrum could not be discerned, but it certainly matched her.
Lowering her fists and relaxing, she brushed a lock of emerald hair away from her darker-skinned face, turning around to pick up the pieces of what appeared to be the package that she had been traveling with. It wasn't salvageable. Whatever it was, it was utterly laid to ruin. Gritting her teeth in an unfitting, peculiar way, she looked back over at the girl with the black hair, saying something even more uncharacteristic.
"You're pretty good. Looks like giant keys aren't unconventional weapons after all."

"Hehe, they can be...resourceful...multiple teeth can cause more damage I suppose," Kairi replied, while watching her picking up remanents pieces of a whatchamacallit, "ooh, let me help you."
Even if she refused it, Kairi's haste fingers started grabbing here and there once she stepped forward and squatted down. Her blue eyes observed them pieces she gathered with her right before piling them in the left, "...I hope this wasn't expensive. Hopefully a return can be...made..."
Her mind started to glue, tape, and pin thoughts together, did the heartless break this? For something that lacks consciousness, they can be quite troublesome. Look at this mess...
Her eyes scanned about the floor for anymore large pieces that she can grab before handing them over to the owner. Looking up at her, she observed her expression; she wasn't content taking anger out on her clenched jaws, "Sorry about that, then again it's not your fault at all. If you don't mind what was that?"
Maybe it was sentimental or something?
"Hmm maybe it's fixable?" Leave it to Kairi to be optimistic whether it was spilled milk or something far more devastating. Funny how she was so kind and open to the individual without going through the routine motions of the notions in introductions, "Oh I'm Shio by the way."
She seemed reluctant to accept the girl's help, but it mattered little as the black-haired girl insisted on going on a wild search for the package that had been destroyed. Not being the type to stand there and let someone else do all the work, she took this moment to search for the remaining pieces as well.
Eventually, a good two-thirds of the mysterious object in question had been deposited into the girl's arms. Her eyes looked upon it with a certain degree of scorn... speechless at the keyblade wielder's words.
"... pretty sure it's toast. Pessimism not intended," she replied, her expression becoming half-hearted as she slowly pocketed away whatever shrapnel that she could. "If it really intrigues you to know, I don't have a clue what it was. I was heading out on a delivery. Out... here. It's not my business to look at other people's things."
The woman briefly gestured to the vast landscape before returning her focus to the other girl, hesitating for a moment. She eventually took the hand offered to her, shaking it with a firm grip unbefitting that of a female. "Leiz."
Post by Ellie who has 0% on Jun 8, 2011 11:28:12 GMT -4
Leiz, what a peculiar name, that comes with the territory of meeting new people from new places, so Kairi merely accepted it no question asked with a soft smile. Also she couldn't talk anyone, she still wasn't using her own name these days. Like Reno, it seemed she met another nice person, despite her limited knowledge of her.
"Well that's still noble of you, not peaking and what not," Kairi stood back up to stretched her legs out, "if you still going on that deliver I can tag along to vouche for you. Then again...these things shouldn't be so surprising, but sooome people can still get...angsty and grouchy."
Doing some here and there errands in Radiant Garden had brought a few things to light like how to deal with particular people. Thus far old senile grandmas were becoming a least favorite to hear rants from, and that was in the town. It made her wonder who chose to live out hear away from the safety of the city. In that case, a heartless attack shouldn't be too out of the norm to not digest the unfortunate event.
"So ready if you are...if you don't mind the company," she left it open for her to shoo her away, since Kairi didn't want to be a bother; also she didn't have much to do to begin with besides roam in the forbidden area.
The girl apparently known as Leiz narrowed her eyes for a moment, perceptibly deciding whether or not it was okay for Shio to tag along. She seemed rather opposed to it for a moment, eventually deciding that the girl could likely be trusted.
"... I'm going to need a signature from the client whether he wants to give me one or not. So ... sure, let's get going," she replied, crossing her arms over her windbreaker as she turned around to face the direction in which the delivery was supposed to be made.
The girl with the emerald hair grimaced for a moment, as if it was going to be a long walk. Or a dangerous one. "I'm going to need some muscle, anyway. The heartless out here are vicious."
With that, she began to head down the indigo trail at a steady pace, keeping an eye out for any possible enemies along the way. One hand floated over the holster hanging from her posterior, while the other seemed tucked away in one of her windbreaker's pockets. Whatever dangers may have lied ahead seemed to unphase her. She was ready for it.

"So I've heard," Kairi replied lowly as she tried to juggle back her memory of a certain individual she was supposed to avoid at all cost, and supposively he had dwelled out here, since the inner city's defense forbade him entrance. Still others had came through her without sightings of any black feathers to be weary of. Seeing the odds, Kairi just assured herself that heartless may be the only company, which shouldn't be too problematic. When there was light at hand, nothing could truly go wrong.
"So knowing that you're not from here and do this kind of thing frequently, who do you exactly work for with these....services," she haven't heard of any sophisticated networking geared to universal connection. With world order the way it is, rocky, unstable, and vulnerable, this kind of web seems benefitial, then again everything have a pro and con. She looked over to Leiz wondering where would she lie, but naturally being Kairi she didn't see negativity in her.
Her darkness recognition was buzzing lowly, but it wasn't distracting or heavily present enough to unnerve her to not hear Leiz. Blue eyes glanced over the vast rocky landscape. It made her curious exactly where this person lived; there wasn't a house in sight.
