In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

The sound of heels hitting the cobblestone could be heard as Maya ran through the narrow alleyway, a smile on her face. She jumped from street to roof, then from roof to roof, laughing each time she took to the air. One jump was all it took to get to the top of the a=stairs, and she ran into the small room with the window in it. With a simple change of direction, she exited the room, seeing the enetrance leading to a place seemingly made of crystal.
"It's so perfect, so...open." said the viera, sitting with her knees tucked against her chest and running a single metal claw in the dirt, causing a few sprouts of grass to grow. The earth here smelled so pure, almost...well, radiant. She placed her palm on the ground, and saw a single daisy grow next to it. She gave the petals a single stroke, then stood, turning.

The viera merely walked, while tracking the kit who was bouncing off the walls as if they landed on a five starred vacation resort. Her excitment just made the viera shook her head in amusement; seriously if she thought this place was perfect, then she was robbed with her time at Ivalice. It was quite shameful, but atleast she can see the kit in a happier lighter stage.
Eventually Coffee caught up with her and looked down to see the floor littered with flora. She merely followed the kit's lead until she wear herself out, which would be a while since she is a juvenile viera, "Where to next kit?"
A clawed hand stretched out to ruffle her white hair messily. Atleast someone was enjoying Radiant Garden; Creme couldn't stand the stench of the humes tightly composited in one marketplace, but she was sated once meeting a violin.
Crouching down, she jumped up towards the roof top. "Come on kit."
The world truly looked vast, but it wasn't as diverse as Ivalice or endless; still she wasn't complaining, it definately beat Traverse Town.
Maya followed her elder's suit and jumped on the roof as well, scanning around until she saw something in the distance where the crystals were. It was a large castle in the distance, and upon closer inspection she could see a strange symbol upon it. Her ears perked up, and she nodded to herself before calling to Coffee,
"Let's go look at that! It looks abandoned."
And with a jump, she started hopping from cliff to cliff towards the crystal area, until she had gotten ahead of Coffee. She stopped when the crystals were directly under her, and stood still, waiting for the other viera to catch up.
I'm really greatful for Coffee bringing me here, there's just so much space and things to see!

A long white speckled ear turned hearing the kit's call. A brow arched as her attention turned to a distance dark blob of architecture. She observed it with scrutiny as she listened to the kit. Sure it looked ominious for being alone, vacant, and void, but generally souch things had something a value.
"Maybe there's something worth...taking."
Turning her head, she saw the anxious kit bounce off. Not wanting the kit to go too far alone, Coffee followed. Throughout the ride the kit seemed overall peaceful; there wasn't any Mist scares or what not, so perhaps her concern can drop.
She landed next to Maya, and looked down at the crystal fissures. Esmeralda's blade reflected the hues of blue delightfully, while the halberd rested across the viera's back, "I wonder how much those are...pretty big too."
Still she was curious of the tall building more,"Hmmm with a full sprint should....definately take less than 10 minutes. Ready runt?"
Maya was more then ready, she was off by the time Coffee said the word. As she ran, the scent of the Wood surrounded her, increasing as the pure enjoyment of the outdoors filled her. No longer would she be bound inside buildings, no longer would she be confined within alleyways.
She was free at last.
~10 Minutes Later~
The young viera looked at the enormous size of the castle ebfore ehr, then used her earth magic to make a staircase to an upper window, pushing it open with ease. She peeked in, then crawled in, noticing the stale scent of abandonment...
and the sharp smell of Heartless. Not nearby, but there.

"Anything worthwhile?" The huntress husky voice rang from behind the kit as she leaned against the windowsill. Upon it's scent at the open window, she knew it was neglected as she can feel the clammy air heavy with dust. Not really waiting for an answer, the viera began to inquire by peeking and poking about, "Who in the world will reside in this tower?"
Seeing how they took a long yet innovative way up, there had to be stairs to get up here in the first place. Oooh goodie, she had to search for a secret door, or atleast rummage around in this mess to find it. An ear flatten to avoid a cobweb as a pair of stiletto clicked and left prints behind her.
"Maybe there's something...hidden here..."
There was only one way to find out, trash the place; Coffee already tossed the idea of this place being defended since they just entered the window with 'no' problem whatsoever.
She began to feel the wall, small tendrils of magic worming their way trying to find a weak point. As they did, she ran her hands over a tapestry, and nearly fell forward as it shifted back, revealing a staircase behind it. With a light smile, she ran to Coffee, and said "I found-"
As she cut off, her ears flattened and her eyes grew wide. She was looking at another banner behind the duo, and it wasn't pleasant for her. The symbol of the Heartless was upon it, covered in a layer of dust.
"What is this place?"
The whisper was filled with both fear and rage, and Maya wrapped her arms around Coffee's right one in fear.

Her ears turned hearing Maya's discovery as she trotted towards her. She was going to inquire when she watched the kit's expression; her faces magically contorted to a light frown. Instead of asking, Coffee merely followed the youth's eyes to find what she was staring at.
"It must've been some kind of stronghold," her fingers lightly touches the kit before grasping it firmly for reassurance,"...once upon a time. Since this place is abandoned, it's safe to assume that whatever this was for...is not much of a problem. If so we would be seeing these flags everywhere."
With that said, this place didn't sit well with the huntress. Since they left stuff behind, who knows what was left behind. If they were going to explore this place, they'll need to be careful. "I'll take the stairs first, k."
She moved away from the kit to head towards the stairs with Esmeralda in hand.
With a small nod, Maya slowly followed Coffee, her staff held in front of her, her ears pivoting wildly. Her eyes gleamed with nervousness, but she didn't see any Heartless appear and attack them.
Soon, they reached the bottom of the stairs, and were on the balcony of some sort of main hall. As she looked around, she saw mostly dust, but not much else.
Then, a small movement on the floor below caught her eye, and she looked to see a single Shadow walking by, looking for anything left in the castle.
Maya poked Coffee, then pointed, her staff already held at arms length in the Heartless' direction.
