In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Legato felt like exploring Traverse Town today. Though he just arrived there, he felt that Traverse Town was starting to grow on him. Though the towering, yellow buildings felt suffocating to him at first, he started to adjust to the new environment presented. He realized that he'd be staying here for a very long time and was already missing his family. However, realizing that they are most probably gone, he felt that a nice stroll would be the perfect thing to calm his nerves down.
He stopped outside the hotel and looked down towards the plaza. He remembered that this was the spot that he woke up in when first entering this world. It was here that he met Helena, who was the first person he saw in Traverse Town. Legato reminisced about his first adventure and his second encounter with the heartless. However, these were just memories and Legato decided to look around again to see if someone was around.
The clock tower loomed over him, imposing it's presence upon him. He was greeted with this scene when he first got here. There was something mysterious about that clock tower, but Legato couldn't think why. Maybe it was how it towered over everything else, maybe it was how it represented time. Whatever it was, Legato was impressed by the colossal structure.
Legato decided to sit down on one of the benches located in the plaza. Slowly making his way to the bench, he was thinking about what to do now. He probably should try to find Helena again. When he sat down, he was deep in thought about the future and what it holds. Quietly sitting, he thought of all the positives that came with this new world while trying to remove all negative thoughts whatsoever.

"nnnghh...." Anil moaned, as he slowly started to gain consciousness, his eye's opening little by little cringing when the light hit his eye. "W-what happened..." he muttered to himself, raising his head so that he could see where he was. At first everything was a blur, but then as he rubbed his eye's, his vision started to clear. It was then he found himself lying in an alleyway in some sort of town, but not one he recognized. He got up from where he sat, and trying to steady himself on his two feet, slowly made his way out of the alleyway into a clearing.
He then found himself in the center of town, though now he knew for sure that he wasn't in Beddor anymore. 'Where am I?' he thought to himself. He looked around, examining everything with his eye's until they came upon a large clock tower. 'Wow...' he said mentally, 'Its huge.' And indeed it was, the clock tower pretty much overshadowed the entire town without any problem. It seemed to have...a little bit of a dark sense to it, though Anil didn't know why he thought that. He then continued to stare at the clock tower for awhile, until an image suddenly popped in his head. The boy's eye's widened. The image was of him, running as fast as he could from what seemed to look like a shadow being.
"That's right..." Anil whispered, "Just what were those things? And more importantly...how did I end up here?" From there, questions started to enter the boys head. His brain starting to hurt after a mere few seconds of trying to reason out all his thoughts, but he couldn't. He didn't understand at all why he was here, or even how. And he for sure didn't know what those dark beings were. After seconds of trying to find an answer, Anil came up with none. 'Jeez...' he thought, slightly frustrated. 'This is just bizarre.' And it was about to get worse. For after giving up on trying to answer his questions, Anil heard a loud clanking noise behind him. He instantly turned around to see a creature that looked just like those creatures that attacked his home that day. Except this time, it looked taller and had on it's head and feet, armor.
The boy jumped back, a tinge of fear rushing through him. Man did he wish he had some sort of weapon now, he imagined a sword in his head, but remembering that he could not create any objects meant for destruction dismissed the idea. What was the use of having such a wieird power, if he couldn't even use it to help defend himself!? Well...he still could, but a regular weapon might be more useful in this case. Another idea then popped in his head, he pictured an image of an object in his mind, and opening the palm of his hand materialized a lead pipe in it. "Alright..." Anil said, a little bit relieved now that he had something in his hands. He narrowed his eye's at the shadow being, and dashing towards it swung the lead pipe.
Perfect hit. He caused the creature to fly backwards. The boy smiled, he then ran towards the creature once again and raising the pipe over his head bashed the shadow being into the ground. He then hit it a couple times until suddenly it vanished. Anil sighed, he then saw something glow right in front of him. He looked up, the object in front of him looked like a...heart? He watched as the heart slowly began to rise into the sky until he couldn't see it anymore. 'That was...weird...' The boy thought. His ears then perked up as he heard the same clanking noise as before, except this time...it was alot louder. He turned around, and jumping back saw a five of the same shadow being that he had destroyed earlier.
"Awww man..." he said to himself, "not good!" Knowing full well he stood no chance against the group of cshadow beings, the boy ran away. "Help!" He shouted, though after examining the area he was in, it looked as if this entire town was deserted. 'Great...' he thought, jumping onto a flight of stairs, and then onto the roof of a building after that. He let out a sigh of relief once he realized that the weird creatures couldn't jump up to where he was. At this point he was safe, at least for now...he looked down at the creatures below, their yellow eye's staring right at him. What was he to do!? He couldn't stay up there forever. "It'll be a miracle if I can get out of this one..." he said, and not taking his eye's off the shadow beings tried to think of a plan.
Legato looked up to see a boy just a bit older than him walk into the plaza. He could tell he was lost by the look on his face and then realized the heartless took yet another world. "Will they ever stop?" Legato thought solemnly. Why do they do it... He was saddened by the fact that they took yet another world however, at least they didn't kill everyone. Anyways, he got to meet millions of people from a variety of backgrounds and worlds.
The boy was fairly muscular with white and black hair. What is it with me and meeting people with radical hair. Legato thought. First Red and Black then this. He then saw a soldier heartless advancing towards the boy. He was almost inclined to help him however, he didn't need to. He summoned a metal pipe out of nowhere and smashed the heartless to kingdom come! Where the hell did that come from?
This action however drew 5 more soldiers to the area. "Help!" He heard him call out. It seemed like he he didn't notice him as he jumped to the top of the building where the heartless couldn't reach him. Deciding he wanted to help, he ran into the center of the group of soldiers and shouted "Screech!" The sound waves knocked back all the heartless for some time. Yet, he knew that they didn't have a lot of time.
"Follow me if you don't want to be there for the rest of your life!" He shouted, praying he could hear. "We haven't got much time, hurry!" With that, Legato ran towards the first district, praying that the person was not an idiot and would follow him.

As Anil tried to figure out a way to get out of the sticky situation he was in, something amazing happened. He heard a shout not to far away, "Screech!!" it had said. And as if a bullet had been shot, the noise in the boys ears were soon replaced by a high pitched scream. Anil then covered his ears, feeling that they would bleed if he did not. It was then he saw the five shadow beings suddenly fly backwards, as if an enormous gust of wind had slammed right into them. At that point only one word went through the boys head, "wow..."
His attention though was soon veered from the shadow creatures, as he heard another shout. He turned his head to where the voice was coming from, and looking straight in front of him saw another boy with very messy black hair, and dark tanned skin. He listened to what he was saying, though it was kinda hard to hear due to the scream from earlier. From what he got out of the other boys sentence it would seem, that he wanted Anil to follow him. "Sounds good to me." Anil said, he then jumped from the roof onto lower ground where the other boy was, doing a somersault before hitting the ground so not to get injured. He then ran towards the boy, using all the strength he had in his legs to catch up with him, which wasn't hard.
Once he had caught up, Anil then continued to follow the boy. He didn't know where he was taking him, but it couldn't have been as bad as staying with a bunch of shadow beings. Now that he thought about it, just what the he'll were those creatures? They looked like the ones that attacked his home, but what exactly were they? Well hopefully he would find out soon. For right now, he just concentrated on running, questions could surely come later AFTER they were in safezone.
Legato stopped running when he was outside the accessory shop. Hoping that the boy followed him, he turned around. Luckily, he recognized the ridiculous black and white hair bobbing up and down and was thankful that he was able to follow him. Legato allowed him to catch up to him before talking.
"We should be safe here." He said calmly. "I'm guessing that this is your first time here. This place is called Traverse Town and this where people go when the heartless take their world." Legato was hoping that this person could comprehend what he was saying.
"Those things before were called heartless. They take the hearts from people and worlds. Don't ask me why, I haven't a clue. For some reason, only a few people from the worlds taken end up here. The rest are probably gone." He explained. Legato wondered how he would react to this news and was hoping that he wouldn't take it too badly.
"My name is Legato. My world was taken too. I have two friends here. Their names are Falsetto and Helena. They've been here longer than I have. To be honest, I've only just arrived here. I'll take you to them o.k, they know much more than me. Oh yeah, what's your name?" Legato hoped that he understood English and that he would follow him.
Following the other boy, Anil soon stopped as they both stood outside some sort of shop. He then began to speak, "We should be safe here." the other boy said calmly. "I'm guessing that this is your first time here. This place is called Traverse Town and this where people go when the heartless take their world." 'Heartless?' Anil though confused, he gave the boy a questioning look and was about to ask what a heartless was, when he suddenly answered the question as if he had read his mind.
"Those things before were called heartless. They take the hearts from people and worlds. Don't ask me why, I haven't a clue. For some reason, only a few people from the worlds taken end up here. The rest are probably gone." He explained. Anil nodded his head, at least he now knew what those shadow beings were now, and how he had ended up here, but now he had a new question popping inside his head. Based from the other boys explanation it would seem that he was somewhat indicating that there was more than just one world, but was that possible? He tried to ask but before he could the other boy began to talk again, this time intoducing himself.
"My name is Legato." He said, "My world was taken too. I have two friends here. Their names are Falsetto and Helena. They've been here longer than I have. To be honest, I've only just arrived here. I'll take you to them o.k, they know much more than me. Oh yeah, what's your name?" Anil looked at the other boy with a blank stare at first, 'Legato...' he thought to himself. What a strange name, but then again if it was true that he came from a different world, then his name would probably sound weird to him as well. He scratched the back of his head, trying to reason the new information that now was stored inside his head, and looking down at the ground said softly. "Anil...My names Anil..."
After a long day, Falsetto finally got done with his shift in the weapon shop. He walked past the accessory shop and remembered that Helena works there. He could pay her a visit. He entered the shop and scanned the room for Helena. She was in the lounge area, relaxing. He didn't want to disturb, so he went over and looked through the products.
He saw many beautifully, crafted items. There were bracelets, rings, and chains. He came across this one particular chain that increase your defense and he surely needed that, he only had 30 munny and the item cost 200 munny. I need to find a better job, he thought.
He looked back at the lounge area and Helena was still sitting there, staring at the ceiling. Falsetto wondered what she was thinking about. Her world? Her parents? Her friends? If she's in Traverse Town, then that means she lost those dear to her. Falsetto felt sorry for her.
Falsetto walked to her direction. He wanted to talk to her, but he didn't know what to say to her. She's is a very quiet, but when she talks...well it doesn't get very pretty. Still, Falsetto wanted to get to know her and make her open up. He came up with a question.
"Helena...What was your world like before it was gone?," Falsetto asked. "My world was a glorious city and it has a humongous castle that towers over the city. It is called Radiant Garden, but some people call it Hollow Bastion."
Then, Falsetto remembered something. "Wait...where's Legato. He should be back soon." He told himself not to worry about it, but can Legato take care of himself? He hope he could.

The Accessory Shop was where Helena had recently been employed. She felt like she was restrained, chained to the shop. The income was okay, she supposed. In reality, the girl had never had as much money as she did now. A sigh escaped her lips, as always. Her boss was an older man who commandeered the cash register every chance he got. The only other worker there was the guy who swept the floors. Helena, on the other hand, stocked the shelves. Her shift lasted... well... forever. On her breaks, the girl would look out of the window and gaze out into the street, watching the Heartless run rampant. She couldn't do anything about it while she was at work. How in the world did people live like this...?
At this current moment, Helena was brooding, wondering about the fact that she couldn't help anyone this way. It bothered the girl to no end. She felt just like her father, a man who would willingly incarcerate an innocent person. How she HATED him...
Then the memories came. At one point, Helena had managed to block them all out, but all this succeeded in doing is allowing them to all gush out at once. Her heart began to race as she saw herself again, a young girl diving into caves and saving people from their own darkness. She could see her father again, dragging her out to the boat, ready to shove her inside the cave... And in the midst of the water he stopped, gave her his prized possessions, and surrendered to darkness. The blackness came back again, and so did the beady yellow eyes... In the midst of the darkness, Helena felt her mother's touch, and something inside of her awoken at last. A flame erupted in that darkness. And then she fell into the black lake.
"Helena...What was your world like before it was gone?" Helena finally stopped drowning in her dark memories to find that boy, Falsetto, standing over her. He continued, "My world was a glorious city and it has a humongous castle that towers over the city. It is called Radiant Garden, but some people call it Hollow Bastion." The girl looked at him inquisitively. She had never really been to any other worlds except for this one and Moonlit Lake. She always found it interesting, however, to hear about the other worlds out there... But Helena hated to talk about Moonlit Lake. However, she'd have to answer his question.
"I come from a world called Moonlit Lake... There's a lake on it. Surprising, huh? Not really much beyond that. I hated the place."
Do you, my daughter?
The voice caught her by surprise. She could have sworn it was her father... but it couldn't be. Helena must have imagined it.
"Wait... Where's Legato? He should be back soon." Legato? That's right... The song mage. Helena hadn't seen much of him since she got the job at the Accessory Shop. She shrugged impassively. The girl had no real feelings towards Legato... he was simply an acquaintance to her.
"Anil...My names Anil..." He heard the boy say shyly. He could tell he was shy, he'd been quiet most of the time and barely talked. "Anil, follow me, I'll take you to my friends. A fair warning, Helena is not that much of a people person. Though she may seem rough, she's actually really nice, don't be afraid of her." Legato explained matter-of-factly.
Legato entered the Accessory shop, knowing that Helena would probably be there. She recently took a job there to pay for a Gummi Ship. Legato also was working, but in the item workshop above the accessory shop. It was a nice shop filled with Moogles, which he didn't mind. The pay was okay, but all he did was clean up. He was only doing this to make money to pay for a Gummi Ship with Helena & Falsetto. Maybe Anil could join us? Legato thought, it'd be nice having more than just Helena and Falsetto around.
Inside the shop, he saw Helena staring at the ceiling while Falsetto was looking at the accessories, even though he couldn't afford them. "I hope you aren't planning on buying any of those." Legato said accusingly. He would consider it treachery if Falsetto would use any of the money for the gummi ship to buy an accessory.
"Helly, Fally, this is Anil. He's new around here, saw him while I was on a walk. He's shy, so don't scare him to much Helena. This guy attracted heartless and was stuck on the roof. Anil, say hi to Helena and Falsetto will you?"
As Legato introduced his friends to Anil, the boy couldn't help but look slightly at the ground. As one would probably notice, Anil was very shy. He didn't like huge crowds, and so wasn't that much of a talker, which was probably why he had so few friends in his own world, though that was a different case. "nice... to meet you both." he said, finally looking up so that Legato's friends could see him eye to eye, a small smile on his face. However, it didn't last long. For when he glanced over at the girl who's name Legato said was Helena, the boy then suddenly looked back down at the floor.
Her eye's looked fierce, and sorta...scary. Obviously she was one not mess with Anil guessed, he shifted his feet a little as he tried to encourage himself to look up again. Suddenly he realized there was a weight in his hand, he looked at it to see what it was, and seeing the lead pipe remembered how it got there in his hands. 'Oh yeah that's right...' he thought raising the pipe to the exact height of his head, 'The heartless...I should probably ask more about them later if I can...' Anil then held the pipe so it was horizontal to the floor, and concentrating released it from his hand making it disappear into thin air. 'I hope there won't be another time where I'll need something to defend myself...' he thought. A thought then crossed his mind, his eye's widened slightly. 'Adad!' he shouted in his head. He checked his pockets, surely when the heartless attacked his world he didn't lose that, his first weapon.
Anil started to panic, but then feeling some sort of handle in his hoody pocket, the boy let out a small sighed in relief. Good, he didn't lose it. At least now if he was to be attacked by one of those heartless things, he would have at least some means of defense. He scratched the back of his head, and looking at the others remained silently tried to at least have a confident look on his face, which he knew would fail.

Helena told Falsetto that she was from a world called Moonlit Lake, but she hated the place. The name Moonlit Lake sounds magical and beautiful, it didn't sound that bad. I wonder why she hates it. Eh, I shouldn't ask; don't want to get her upset.
"Maybe we can see my world once we get a Gummi Ship. My world wasn't taken by the heartless. If you're wondering, I was transported here by a small orb of light. I just touched it then, poof, I woke up in this town. Well anyways, you will love my world."
"I hope you aren't planning on buying any of those," a familiar voice said. Falsetto turned around to see Legato and a strange boy. "Who said I was going to buy anything?" Falsetto said with a small grin on his face. Falsetto looked at the other boy. Falsetto never seen the boy before in this town, he was curious to know where her came from.
"And who's this?" Falsetto said curiously. Did Legato recruit a member to our team? Falsetto knew Legato had a kind heart, too kind. He knew Legato wouldn't want to leave anyone behind, but that would surely get him killed. If you want to live you're going to have to make some self-fish decisions. But, that's what makes Legato special, his kindness. "Helly, Fally, this is Anil. He's new around here, saw him while I was on a walk. He's shy, so don't scare him to much Helena. This guy attracted heartless and was stuck on the roof. Anil, say hi to Helena and Falsetto will you?" Legato said kindly. He's shy huh? Well he'll open up sooner or later.
Anil took at look at Helena and I, and when his eyes laid upon the tsundere, he quickly look at the ground. He's afraid of Helena? I know Helena is...a little cold, but she's not that bad.
Anil shifted his feet a little and looked back at Falsetto and Helena. "Nice... to meet you both," the shy boy said.
Falsetto couldn't stand it when people were shy. Although, he was once shy when he was little, he never liked it when people were. The Sound Lord got up and went over to their direction. While approaching, Falsetto noticed a lead pipe in Anil's hand. Why does he have a pipe? Is he some kind of plumber or something?
When Falsetto was right in front of him, he took out his hand and offered a hand shake. "Welcome Anil. The name's Falsetto, nice to meet you. Are you from another world?" The Sound Lord said. Falsetto then whispered something into the boy's ear. "Hey, I noticed that you took one look at Helena and you were a little afraid of her, but don't be. She might look cold, but she's not that bad. Don't worry."
Falsetto then set his eyes on Legato. "Not to be rude or anything, but where did you find Anil?" Then, Falsetto felt anger rushing through his brain. Another world taken by the Heartless? When will they stop?
Will they ever?

Me? Cold? Funny. You'd think my powers would be ice or something, but my powers exhibit warmth. Odd...
The boy, Anil, was shy. Immediately Helena showed no real interest in him. She was a loner, but the tsundere could not stand it when people were too shy. No matter how cynical that girl was, she was very bold. Shyness was an idea that did not appeal to her in any way. Helena did not speak. Those rust orbs looked over Anil rather indifferently. He had white hair layered upon black hair. Dark green eyes with slits for pupils. Pale skin. To be honest, Helena initially thought that the guy didn't get out much. At the very least, this would explain why he seemed shy. Yeah, at Moonlit Lake, Helena wasn't much for getting outside the house on normal occasions, either. But she wasn't shy. Just... not friendly. Well, most of the time. Probably... sometimes.
"Hey, old man!" She called to her boss. The man, a stout grandpa with a gray moustache a receding hairline, looked over from the register. Helena yanked off her apron and threw it on the nearest shelf. The guy looked on with disbelief. "I'm taking my break, 'kay?" At first, it was as if he didn't believe she'd do it. That was a grave mistake. Helena rose from her seat, positively annoyed, and approached the door. The meek boy who swept the floors observed the scene silently, his broom clutched to his chest. Grandpa approached as if to stop her. "I'm gonna walk around some, mister. You can play slave-driver later." The girl, as if for effect, brushed across Phoenix Feathers. The duo proceeded on as if nothing happened shortly after.
Helena cleared her throat and turned toward Legato, Falsetto, and Anil. To think, she'd made so many acquaintances since meeting Hero. That peculiar feeling entered her being once more... Friendship, right?
Wasn't it?
"We can get all our questions answered outside, guys. I need some air," She muttered quietly. She curtly excused herself afterward by walking out of the door and taking a deep breath. Now, more than anything, she was curious. That feeling... what could it possibly be?
"Not to be rude or anything, but where did you find Anil?" He heard Falsetto inquire.
"I told you, I met him in the second district. Calm down will you, he's not gonna kill you." Legato replied exasperatedly. He told them all that he knew, apart from the conjuring of the pipe out of nowhere, he'll tell them that later, or Anil would.
"We can get all our questions answered outside, guys. I need some air," He heard Helena call out and with that, she walked out the door.
"We should follow her. Don't worry Anil, she won't kill you." He said as he waltzed out of the room.
Outside, he saw Helena waiting outside for them. He walked up to her and whispered.
"Hey, do you think Anil can join us, because I think that he could be really useful." He was going to let Anil tell his powers to the others to avoid a mis-communication. he saw them approaching them and called out to Anil.
When the man named Falsetto extended his hand out towards Anil, the boy at first just stared at it, but then taking out his hand from his hoodir pocket he shacked hands with the man, and smiling answered his question. "Yes I'm from another world, though I'm not really sure how I got here still." He then listened as Falsetto told him that he didn't have to be afraid of the girl named Helena, at this the boy just nodded. "I understand." he replied. The girl then suddenly shouted, which made Anil wince. Apparently she was gonna take a break from her shift, she took off her apron, and standing up from where she sat told the rest of them, that they could talk outside.
After that they all followed the girl outside, Anil being the last out the door. Legato then asked about his powers. Anil froze, his powers? Well...that was kinda hard to explain. He looked up at the rest of them, man was it scary looking people in the eye sometimes. And kicking the dirt beneath his shoe said in a soft voice, "I have a power which Is called the Imaginaire, it allows me to materialize whatever I picture inside my head. Of course there are some restrictions." At this the boy then looked down at the ground, hopefully that was a good enough explanation, if they didn't understand well...then he guess he would just have to say sorry and give a better explanation about his power.
"I told you, I met him in the second district. Calm down will you, he's not gonna kill you," Legato replied to Falsetto's question. "Hey, I was just curious and he seems too nice to kill anyone," Falsetto said to Legato. Falsetto shot a look at Anil. He didn't seem the tyoe to kill people. Although he could be hiding something.
Falsetto turned around to hear Helena shouting at her boss. It seems that she's going to take a break. She got up and threw her apron at the old man. "You know you don't have to be rude, Helena," Falsetto said to the tsundere.
Helena told the guys to go outside, to get some fresh air. "Hey, do you think Anil can join us, because I think that he could be really useful," Legato asked Falsetto and Helena. "I don't see why not, but did he agree with this Leggy or are you asking us without his permission?'
Legato then asked what Anil's powers are. He has powers? Falsetto gets excited when he meets someone with incredible powers and was dying to know what Anil's were. "I have a power which Is called the Imaginaire, it allows me to materialize whatever I picture inside my head. Of course there are some restrictions," the boy said softly.
Falsetto was amazed and shocked that something that power can exist in one child. "That sounds amazing. That sure is a blessing from the gods alraight. Now that we're at it, what is your world like? Did the citizens of your world have powers like yours? Falsetto asked the boy. He was very curious to find out the answer.
