In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

(Thanks man, I totally get what your saying. If I loose I loose but it has to be a situation I can't possibly think of a way to escape. So if he looses I'll say he does if not you win. I've been in many battles in reality, local gangs, muggers, school bullies etc. I've won almost all but I've lost twice. I'm an abnormal teen with anger management issues and adrenaline power. I'm a dangerous on of a kind. So I'll think of this battle like a real battle, the only problem is that Zetsu's not as smart as me.
Don't call off the battle too soon, I want it to be long. Thanks again )
The ice shard moved with incredible speed but Zetsu could still see it. He thought of many ways to get rid of it but none of them were cool and his goal was not to get scratched. So he ran to the left and headed straight for a building. Head butting it and going through. He knew the battle had just started but this was a grate way to corner his pray.
Zetsu didn't think Eli could smell him, sense him or hear him. Without difficulty he could easily attack and if he was extremely lucky Eli would get scared and fear would dull his skill but that is a 0.00000075% chance. Since they were in a battle man to man battle he could attack from behind. Making it easier to fight. So let the games begin.
(( SO sorry for taking so long. I just started a full time job working third shift for the summer so it's been wreaking havoc on my internet time. Should be on more though now that I'm used to the schedule. ))
Eli was able to land safely. The shard did what it was intended to, however, Zetsu took a different approach to handling the situation at hand than Eli had expected him to. Instead of taking advantage of an open position to make a blow he ran head first through a wall into a nearby building.
"Ermm? Head first? Why?" He thought vigorously. The questions was a good one. Obviously the kid had strength. But, did he have the mind to back that strength up and triumph over an older, more-likely more experienced champion?
Human nature almost pushed Eli into the building to chase after. No, that would be stupid. He had no idea at this point where his opponent was for sure. And, Elihu was out in the open. If one was to be out of sight so would the other. This would turn into a game of wits if Elihu could help it.
Without further hesitation Elihu apparated onto a ledge of the nearby building and then jumped up onto the roof. Immediately after he went stealth making him almost impossible to see again and waited for anything to move or make a noise noting him of his enemies position. If he was lucky he'd be able to get a jump on his opponent.
"I hate spars. However, now that I'm in a foreign world... sparring should help me learn to adapt to new abilities unlike those of my world. Perhaps, this is a good idea after all," he thought patiently to himself.
(Hope your job goes well and your happy with it and by the way I've been accepted! I look forward to rpin' with you in traverse town. Because that's where I'm at currently.)
Zetsu thought his friend Eli was at a disadvantage. Because he didn't know of his enhanced senses. So honestly speaking the disappearing act was pointless. Zetsu stopped for a minute to concentrate on Eli's smell. It took awhile but he finally got him. Just about twelve feet away west, on top of a building. Without a sound Zetsu sped there and waited for a few seconds under Eli.
He stabbed his swords in the ground and looked up. A huge grin grew on his face. Without more planning he just burst out through the ceiling. In mid air he twirled and aimed a kick at Eli, attempting to shatter his ribs and bring the fight to a close.
Eli waited patiently, ears open to anything and everything waiting for the slightest sound; eyes open looking for any movement. Knowing Zetsu was most likely still in the building below him Eli tried to idealize a plan. The kid was strong and fast. He obviously had strength normal humanoids did not. As for the senses, well --
Before Eli had any more time to comtemplate he heard something pierce the floor of the building directly below him. He immediately focused his attention to the area around the sound being sure not to fall prey to a distraction. However, the sound proved to be true it was Zetsu as the ceiling soon burst apart below him revealing his target. Instantly Eli's answer to the senses were correct. There would have been no possible way to know exactly where he was on the roof without some sense of smell or heightened sense of super-human nature.
"You have strength and senses, I see..." Eli thought to himself instantly as the ceiling cracked. "But, I have heightened reflexes."
Zetsu came through the ceiling incredibly fast and spun in the air sending one hell of a kick in Elihu's direction. Eli's feet thrust off the ground sending his body parallel, face down, to the hole below him as the kick barely missed directly parellel to him below his stomach. As the kick resolved gravity did its job dragging Eli back down into the building. As he fell he sent two ice daggers up toward Zetsu.
"Let's see how you handle speed, then."
Instantly after he sent the daggers through the air Elihu apparated, teleporting directly above Zetsu in an attempt to catch him off guard as the daggers cut through the air toward his foe. He then sent a swift thrust through the air with his palm in an attempt to strike Zetsu in the back. If Zetsu evaded Eli would be in position to slip through his own daggers coming toward both him and Zetsu at the same time. If Zetsu took the blow it would probably be the cause of having to deal with either the daggers or the punch. In any case, Elihu was ready for a reaction. However, the kid would need some serious reflexes and instinct to avoid a hit here.
Unfortunately for Eli... apparating twice in such a short time was taking a toll on his bodies energy supply. He'd have to take it slow for a minute or two in order to keep up with the pace of battle. Otherwise he'd have to resort to bursting everything he had into one final attempt in hopes of ending the fight.
(( No desire to write but did my best. It's not too great. Basically, he uses his primary stat to dodge, fall through the hall, send two ice daggers at you, apparate above you, throw a punch and work with it from there. Elihu gets you are probably stronger with heightened senses, however, with strength he is aware tends to come vulnerability to fast, light handed blows. Which is true generally. How does a small opponent defeat a huge one? Not with more force, but with speed, agility, and a long series of smaller blows that in the end build up to an opening. This is his building tactic against Zetsu. Using experience and non-fatal, small blows designed to weaken his target over a period of time to the point of allowing an opening on ending the battle. Not bad if you ask me Of course, he has to rely on reflexes and experience alone not to take a hit as someone of your caliber would be dealing massive damage to a rogue if a hit goes successful. This could get interesting if his vibes are correct.
''You seem to be under the inpression that since I'm strong I'm not agile or fast.'' Zetsu said camly as the shards sped towards his back, threating to kill him. ''That would be true, if I were human.''
He formed kongouseki to cover his back and made a pillar so gravity wouldn't do it's job. The shards hit the knogouseki and broke into pieces. But that took a good amount of energy. Eli managed to punch Zetsu right in the face. It didn't hurt him but it still made him release the kongouseki. Causing him to fall and land on his feet.
Before the kongouseki completely faded he made a sharp ice pillar aim for Eli shoulder. If he didn't react fast he was sure to loose the battle. Zetsu took this chance to return his blades back to his case. Because he really didn't think he needed them. So he sped off.
Another pillar of ice. Elihu had to twist himself awkwardly to get into position to dodge it, but he knew he wouldn't be able to completely avoid a blow. He prepared for impact as he continued to conserve energy. With a smooth swing from his right arm as he twisted in the air he cut part of the pillar in half while the other half still gave him a thud to his left shoulder thrusting Eli to the ground with a new throbbing sensation he'd have to push past now in the battle.
Human emotions pointed toward anger. The kid was cocky. Yet, instead of being angry Eli felt nothing. His training continued to push him.
"I never said anything about you not being agile," Elihu said bluntly as the kid ran away once again.
Knowing he had a moment to spare Elihu focused and began to relax his body to ease the pain and build up some energy. This 'spar' was beginning to waste his time.
** Just quit my job. So I'm back. Yet, sorry for the horrible post. **
Zetsu returned his blades and stood on the fountain. ''Elihu! Come Out! Let's finish this! Come at me with your strongest move and I'll do the same!'' He bellowed. Zetsu just remembered he had to go to his concert right about now. He was just wasting time here.
(You can join the Showtime thread in traverse town. It's not in any district though)
(( Perhaps. Eli is going on a suicide mission to the world that never was when he can to die a warriors death as I make my new character, Marxs. The Nobody of my old character Mars that served under Marluxia here. ))
So Zetsu wanted Eli to come at him with his strongest move? Warriors had a single strongest move? Strange tactics to conserve ones power into one single move. Elihu found it foolish.
Elihu apparated down in front of Zetsu. He stared him down. Maybe the kid wasn't human. Maybe he was. Eli believed in the fact that he was not. However, that meant nothing to him. It just meant he was different. Every being had a weakness. Of course, finding that weakness was part of a battle. Unfortunately for Eli... he had not yet had time to find that weakness. The only note he could make was the daggers that the youngster would place into the ground form that case. It would seem they were a source of the power. If Elijuh could remove them from the playing field a victory may be possible. As for Elihu's weakness? To be honest, Elihu never measured his own weaknesses and strengths. He only measured them in terms of his enemy. It made the most sense. Outwit the enemy, move faster, and victor is always within grasp. FAST, agile movements hitting light blows repeatedly always prevailed over one strong slow swing.
(I look forward to meeting him. But which world is he in?)
''Kay'' He said. ''Although, I'll go easy on you. Just can't help it, sorry!.'' He stated with a smile. Zetsu dropped to the floor and summoned eighty percent of his power. Turing it into a spiked building sized ball of kongouseki. It was kind of hollow but that did't mean it was easy to break. He formed a chain at the end so he could move it. It was slow but has a good reach and with his strength it wasn't impossible.
''Koei'' He said ounce again. Completely forgetting about his 'I'll go easy on you'' statement. He had a problem with conserving energy. Which so far is his only known weakness. If his enemy could avoid him until he's tired, then victory is his.
"What the hell?" Elihu muttered as Zetsu created an enormous, gigantic, huge, overly large ... big ball covered in spikes. From there was a chain that lead to Zetsu's hand. "Now that's something I've never seen before..."
With a swift motion Zetsu sent the ball at Elihu with amazing speed and force. Eli summoned up every ounce of consumable agility to press off the ground in order to dodge the ball of death headed his way. Sheathing his daggers and drawing his sword he sent a swing at the ball as he managed to escape the blow by inches. The sword deflected off it causing no damage at all.
Elihu understood this type of weapon. He was trained in using a ball and chain... but definitely nothing remotely close to that size and weight. A ball and chain made for one of the hardest melee weapons known to Eli for their incredible ability to build up momentum in a target direction. However, their downfall was the chain itself. The weapon needed to be extended outward from its owner leaving the wielder vulnerable if you could dodge the ball and move quickly down the chain. This would only be possible of course, assuming you could get to the opponent before the ball extended fully. After being fully extended one could thrust it backward and use it once again. It was a long shot, but Eli might be able to use that split second to his advantage.
The spiked boulder crushed the ground as Elihu dodged it but definitely not with ease. He'd have to wait for another swing before he used his Burst ability to heighten all his abilities to their max potential.
"Wits over Brawn. Speed over Strength. I got this," he thought.
(( Let me know if I did anything wrong in that post with your attack. I can change it. I wasn't sure if you sent it at Eli or not xD Assumed you did. I sense a tie in Eli's future xD or a loss. Dunno if he'd be able to win to be honest. Like he said, all he has against Zetsu is his experience and his ability to adapt, learn, and utilize his knowledge against his foe. Assassins generally don't get into the 1v1 combat scenarios xD They ambush, kill, and leave xD ))
(Ya I get it. But you might win if you try hard enough. I didn't really attack yet but it doesn't matter. I would've done it sooner or later anyway.)
Akuma drew the ball of doom back and started swinging it round and round, building momentum. Just as he completed three swings he lunged it at Elihu. ''Soya!'' He shouted with excitement.
