In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Hello there Lint Trap! As I've mentioned, this is your thread so we can assess your Goofy skillz! I'll be RP'ing as Sora, and you as Goofy (of course) and so we shall commence. I'll let you start this as if making a new thread. Feel free to incorporate some NPC's if you wish. But, it'd be best if you don't include any actual characters from this site, including, but not limited to, Donald.
Again, this has nothing to do with your RP'ing skills being bad, but that we would just like to see how you roleplay Goofy if forced to do so for more than just one sample.
I have written over a thousand words of rp for this character for this application alone.
You are starting this round.
I will post exactly three times. If you cannot reach a conclusion of either A) accepted or B) rejected by that time, you may consider my application withdrawn and you should give the part to someone who can rp him better.
Terribly sorry I didn't have an actual post, but here is turbinate and time.
It was close to midday in Twilight Town, after a long few days of looking for Riku and Kairi. Sora had been trying to stay hopeful and be his normal, perky self, but you could tell he really wasn't as happy and perky as he was letting on.
…or setting. Goofy was never really sure which. The light was always somewhere between being there and not being there, bathing the town in a rich golden color. They had been traveling through Twilight Town for three days now, but there had been no word, sign or clue of Riku or Kairi. Everyone had been very friendly of course, and did their best to be helpful to the bright-eyed boy who had saved their World, but it quickly became clear that none of them had seen his friends.
Goofy glanced over at Sora who walked with his back straight and his head high, doing his best to stay positive, but he could see from the subtle tenseness in his shoulders and the heaviness of his step that he was getting tired. And Goofy hardly blamed him. It had been a mere handful of months and already he was back on the road searching, searching, searching. Both he and Donald thought the teen deserved more of a break than that, but still it was important to stay positive. Maybe a short rest and some food would bring around everyone’s spirits.
((Okay, let me preface this post by saying how incredibly sorry I am for the delay in posting! I'm not gonna lie and say I've been INCREDIBLY busy, and unable to post AT ALL. To be honest? I've not really been on the ball about posting...anywhere XD So, I just wanted to apologize beforehand. Also, incredibly sorry if this is a crap post. XD))
Sora mostly liked this World, it was always nice weather, the sun was never overbearing, and the people were always really nice...well, most of them were. Sure, the Nobodies were annoying sometimes, but mostly that's all you saw...Nobodies. Although Sora was a fan of this world, that didn't make it okay that they had been searching for three whole days for Riku and Kairi, and had yet to hear anything, anything about them! I'm just not sure how much longer I can do this. I've had to do it once, and it was hard enough then...I'm not sure I can handle all of this again.
[/color][/b] Sora thought, while trying to maintain his composure, by keeping his back straight, and his head high.
When Goofy suddenly asked if he'd like to break for some lunch, it caught Sora off guard. Normally it was Sora who had to initiate lunch, normally with an abnormally loud growl of the stomach, or by begging Donald, since he was normally the last to want to eat. "Sure! What do you guys wanna eat today? There's really not much to eat around here."[/b] Sora said, trying to fake his perkiness, hoping his cover hadn't been blown yet. After all, he was the savior of all the Worlds! Sure, he couldn't have done it without his friends, but he was the leader. The one who would open the door. He couldn't be sad...or atleast, that's what he thought.[/blockquote]
Some people were excellent at masking the truth. Some people had the ability to completely hide their feelings and fool even their closest friends into thinking that they were just fine and everything was as it should be.
Sora was not one of those people.
The Keyblade Bearer wore his heart on his sleeve, opening himself up to the Worlds in such a way that allowed them all to be connected with the least effort. This was what made him so strong. It was also what made him vulnerable. Goofy knew if he continued to try to hold his sadness and misgivings inside, it would gnaw on him until it became unbearable.
“Heya, Sora…you seem a little down. Is everything all right?”
