In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Leandra blocked another Armored Knight's attack before pushing it back away from her. "Yea I think we should probably clear our way out of here." She said as she cleaved through another Heartless. She saw one trying to come down from above her and drew on her magic forming it into Fire in her left hand. "FIRE!" She shouted shooting the fireball at the heartless.
She then focused on slashing a path through the heartless. She kept running forward while cutting through the swath of Heartless. She had a lot of fun with this competition even if they did both lose count. Even though she lost count later since they both lost count there was no way to determine a real winner but she was fine with that. Fighting all of those heartless was still fun.
Vapor quickly dealt with the two Armored Knights that had just spawned next to him, and took off after Leandra. He soon caught up to her, and starting to help her in cutting a path through the Heartless. He made sure to keep running, cutting through only the Heartless that mattered, leaving most because they would only be a waste of effort.
The whole time they were running, Vapor kept glancing over at Leandra to check she was doing okay, and that she wasn't lagging behind at all. Then, for some reason, he noticed her locket which he hadn't paid any attention to the past few minutes. Vapor's mind then snapped back to earlier when she had told him about her scar, and she clutched her locket. His curiosity finally got the better of him. "I'll make sure to ask about her locket when we're done here.." He told himself.

Leandra dodged a soldiers spinning attack as it tried to hit her and slashed through another Armored knight. She blocked an attack from another Armored Knight kicking this one away from her again and slashed the Armored Knight in half with her sword. She ran another Heartless through while running towards the exit. She smirked having fun while cutting through the heartless.
As she reached the exit she looked towards Vapor. It looked like there was something on his mind. She decided that she would ask him about it and walked closer to him. "Is something wrong Vape?" She asked while looking at him closely.
Once they'd reached the exit of The Great Maw, Vapor stopped to catch his breath, and Leandra came closer to him asking "Is something wrong Vape?" It seemed he'd made it pretty obvious he was wanting to ask her about her locket. He spent a minute or two contemplating how to respond; whether he should straight out ask, or if he should do it sorta discretely.
Even after a couple minutes of thinking of a decent response, he still hadn't come up with one. So, instead, he just replied "Your locket.."

Leandra fingered her locket and looked at Vapor. She wondered why he was asking about it then remembered that she held it when she told him about her scar. She figured there would be no harm in telling him since he already knew about the scar. She took her locket off and opened it showing it to him. "It's me and my brother before he disappeared."
(Sorry it's really short i know)

He watched her take off her locket and show the picture contained inside it to him. "It's me and my brother before he disappeared." This took half by surprise, he had already figured that it contained a picture of her brother from what happened earlier, but he didn't know what had happened. Well, now he does. "Disappeared.." He thought, wondering if he should further question her or if it was best to leave it at that.
Sure enough, Vapor's curiosity got the better of him. "Disappeared?"

Leandra looked down at the ground when Vapor asked her about her brother disappearing. Why did she let it slip that he had disappeared? She had never told anyone this much about her life before. She didn't know why she was starting now either. Why was she willing to talk about things she kept buried when she was around this boy.
"I'm s-sorry I have to go." Leandra said before running in the opposite direction of where Vapor was. She didn't know why she was running away but for some reason she was afraid. She wasn't sure what she was afraid of but she knew she was afraid of something.
"Hey, wait! Vapor shouted as she turned to run away while, for some reason, reaching after her even though he knew it'd do no good. And just like that, she was away. "Fuck.." Vapor thought, "I guess I asked too much.." He looked up at the sky for no reason in particular, the same as every other time he did, and thought about what he could do next. He could either follow her and try to catch up to her, wait where he was to see if she comes back, or just forget about it completely and leave. The last option was completely unlike Vapor, so he immediately removed that so he was left with following or waiting.
Every second he spent thinking was a second lost in catching her. So he set off after her, slowly catching up. He had no idea what she would say or do when he finally did catch her, but leaving her wasn't right in his mind. Once he'd reached a reasonably close distance, he shouted after her. "Hey, Leandra! Wait up!"
Leandra stopped in her tracks when she heard Vapor call out to her. She turned back and looked back at him. She figured that he was worried about her since she ran off. She was still trying to figure out what it was that scared her so much she had never freaked out like that before nor had she ever been afraid of anything.
"What is it Vapor?" She asked already having an idea of what was going on.
He slowed down once her saw Leandra stop running, and was at walking pace when she turned to face him. "What is it Vapor?" She asked him as he reached her. "Isn't it obvious.." He thought to himself, before answering her "You just.." He paused for a brief second, "..Ran away." He finished, looking her in the eyes.
He figured she was avoiding answering the question because she either didn't want him to know or it pained her too much to talk about it. Either way, suddenly running away seemed the tiniest bit drastic to Vapor.
"Yea I'm sorry about that." Leandra said as she looked at Vapor. She didn't know what was wrong with her. She had never felt like this before and it scared her quite a bit. She looked around and noticed that she had stopped in front of the castle. She hadn't been to the castle before and wasn't sure that she wanted to be here.
"Um maybe we shouldn't be here. Come on Vapor lets get out of here." Leandra said as she turned and started to walk away.
So he got an apology. He was fine with this. He didn't expect her to answer his earlier question if it made her want to run away. He was still wondering exactly why she ran away. Was she scared? Was she trying to run away from her past? Or was it just to avoid answering a question she did not wish to answer? Vapor was pretty sure he'd never know the reason but, apparently, it shouldn't have been the main thing on his mind. "Um maybe we shouldn't be here. Come on Vapor lets get out of here." This snapped him out of his little daydream-like state in which he was thinking too much, and he glanced around his environment. A castle. The castle. She was right. This was not a good place for them to be.
Vapor followed Leandra as she started walking away from the castle, back in the general direction of the town. "Listen." He started, "You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to."
Leandra stopped as they were right outside of the town when she heard what Vapor said. She turned around and smiled at him. If she hung around here or even if she found a way to go to another world she was sure that her and Vapor would become good friends. Even if she was to leave this world behind to look for her brother. She felt the fear she had before melt away and knew exactly what she was afraid of. She had never been running from her past. She had always been afraid of a future without her brother in it. But now that she had a friend she wasn't afraid. She could and would trust Vapor.
"My brother left the world I'm from two years ago to try and help the Keybearer. I waited for his return for a year. When he never came back I left as well and ended up here. I decided to stay here and do as much good as I can until I'm ready to find out what the keybearer knows. I want to find my brother. More then anything I want to find him. But I'm not ready to yet. He's out there somewhere i know he is." Leandra said looking up at the sky. She knew there were countless worlds out there one for each star in the sky. And she knew that on one of them was her brother.
He stopped when he saw Leandra stopped, which was just outside of town and just after Vapor had spoken. He looked at her, smiled, and listened intently as she answered his earlier question. "My brother left the world I'm from two years ago...I want to find my brother. More than anything, I want to find him." Vapor just stood for a minute or two, taking in everything Leandra had just told him. He really wanted to help, but he wasn't quite sure just how he would be able to. This kinda pissed him off. Because he would feel really bad if he just left her to go about this by herself, but he really had no idea how to help.
"..Shit.." He mumbled, under his breath so Leandra didn't hear. He spent a little longer thinking about what to do, then looked up to the sky. "I'll help."

"I'll help." Leandra smiled looking back at Vapor when he said this. She wasn't quite sure how he could help her. She would except his help though. After all she had trusted him enough to tell him about her past right? She was glad that she had found someone she could rely on.
She tried to think of where there might be information on traveling to other worlds. If she was still back in her world she could get more information about the fracture. But since she wasn't she would have to learn more information about getting to other worlds and alternate means. She looked at the castle as a lightbulb went off in her head. "Unless you know some way to get to other worlds we might have to go to the castle. Surely the library there should have some answers." She said still looking at the castle. "My answer has to be in there" she thought to herself.
