Diablo is a black raven and is Maleficent’s pet and confidant. He has been her baby for many of years to listen to her madness and fulfill tasks that she couldn’t entrust to many. Actually he was the one who helped brought her back. After being free from his cage by the Organization, he had gathered his mistress old robes and brought her back from tattered robs and oblivion; the memories fueled by those stupid bobbled headed fairies had rejuvenated her. Despite her diablo being a pawn and thus making her pawn, she still find him a loyal subject who has her heart in best interest.

۞Innate Skills۞

The Mistress of all Evil has an uncanny talent in the dark arts and black magick. In a few rhymes, she can deliver a curse, but these curses are limited to not being able to kill anyone. That’s why the sleeping death has been a popular curse to use; it was the closest thing to it.

Her natural skill resides over darkness and fire. She can utilize those elements by means of travel, creating gateways and entries, and even barriers.

۞Black Magick ۞

Active Spells ۞Firaga A flame attack that sends balls of explosive flames that chases after them. Fira: Three balls of fire that can appear at three different points and explode. Fire: A single ball of fire projectile that can only target one person. ۞Dark Firaga A flame attack that tracks her enemy from below, while emitting dark flames to blaze them. This attack can trigger one’s inner darkness to unleash itself. Dark Fira: A moderate dark fire that flares on multiple people. Dark Fire: A single ball projectile that can only target one person. There's minor darkness damage, so it won't noticeably tip the scale of someone's heart. ۞Thundaga A spell where a ball of lightening ejects arms of thunder to shock her enemies at the same time. Thundara: Bolts of lightening raining down on opponents that cause a slight stun Thunder: A single bolt of lightening on one opponent. ۞Aeroga A spell that knocks back her enemies with a funneling tornado. Aerora: A wave of air that slices at multiple enemy. Aero: A single gust at one target. ۞Graviga A spell that pins her enemy down under a black dome while dealing moderate damage for 3 posts. Gravira: A spell that pins down multiple targets for 2 posts. Gravity: A simple dark spell that holds an opponent down for a post ۞Spell Chains۞ Spell chains is a mystical strategy of extending one's mana to conduct multiple spells consecutively before one could feel the stamina drain of using magic. As a fey, her mystical connection is nearly flawless, so she doesn't feel withdraws after casting a mere spell, so she utilizes her magick to the fullest of casting up to 4 spells consecutively. Going beyond that lessens the potency of the spells. 1-4 spell chain: Spells are stable upholding to their high quality. 5-7 spell chain: Spells becomes less stable and drops to their -ra level. 8-9 spell chain: Spells are unstable and reverted back to its basic form. ۞Inharmonious Mystics۞ Becoming a professional in magic can come with the price depending on one's practice. For example a highly trained black mage would prove difficult in handling stretching their professions into a white mage. The same are with fairies; genuinely the feys were meant to create goodness, happiness, and stay with the light, but by descending from holy vows to becoming a dark fairy. ۞Naturally a majority of mystical professionals are not trained in man-to-man combat, which includes self-defense; with their spells gains more range with strength, they would typically work from a distance, while heavily relying on their spells to defend and fight for them ۞Maleficent can't harness the element of light, nor had she ever sought out to do it. ۞ Being focused on her talents with fire, she cannot forge stable blizzard spells and is more sensitive to them. But holding the fires of a dragon, she very resistant to weak blizzard spells. Passive Spells ۞Float A spell that can cause objects, herself, and others levitate. Edit: The Float spell can last long depending on how many targets have to be held up by the spell. Herself alongside other people are simple burdens; though after 10 posts, she would surely drop the dead weight. Loose medium sized inanimate objects are more fun to throw and even use to be an efficient shield. ۞Invisible By bending darkness about her, she can render herself invisible. She can suppress her darkness to lessen her chances of being detected, but enough of the times, she doesn't care to unless discretion is necessary. Edit: Her Invisibility Spell function to mask herself while traveling the worlds; her name as gathered some precious infamy and sometimes it better to be not seen. ۞Darkness Calls With her strong ties to Darkness, she can travel through the Corridors of Darkness unharmed. She managed to ensnare the Heartless to do her bidding, but her leash on them can be enstranged with the presence of the Dark XII. With Darkness she can also awaken the darkness in another. ۞Mystical Calling With her ties to magick, she can awaken the mystic boon in another, but the awakened spell would be one she wields as well.

۞Incantations۞

۞Meteors of Heaven, unleash thy fury! A fury of meteors ignited in flames shower down impacting close by enemies dealing high damage. ۞Rise hellfire, burn in the eternal pyre! Radiating from the fairy, dark fires expand on the scene. Using forms of water, blizzard, or aero can help clear a path for you. The flames doesn’t die down until after 3 rounds. ۞Winds of the skies, have no mercy! Funnels of aerora tornados spin to attack multiple enemies. The skies doesn’t calm until after 3 rounds. ۞A forest of thorns shall be your tomb Borne through the skies on a fog of doom! A curse sprouts thorny briar; they emit away aura of darkness to taint a tempting heart. The briar rots and fades after 3 rounds. ۞Now you shall deal with me, and all the powers of HELL! Raising her arms up, she erupt canons of green flamers around her. Those in range should seek a cure spell for the heavy damage. ۞Come to me, the Mistress of all Evil! Smaking down her sceptar to the floor, she opens up a whole of darkness to call unto heartless to amuse her with. She would fall back to watch the display until the heartless are cleared. ۞۞۞ Incantations takes more magic than a mere spells, since they are highly sophisticated, nor can they be invoked silently. Due to their high quality they cannot be conduct alongside spell chains. Also with them being as elaborate as they are only one can be conducted at the time. The mystical mist that lingers after each incantation must have two rounds to completely clear out. Channeling another incantation with an abundance of mystical residue can cause it to become unstable, act chaotically, and possibly backfire.

۞Curses۞

۞Sleeping Death A curse that must take form in some form of an object whether if it’s a spindle of a spinning wheel or a mere red apple. Coming into contact with the host of the sleeping death will cause one to fall into slumber with only the antidote of true love’s kiss. ۞Dark Awakening A curse that awakens one’s inner darkness. Unfortunately it can unfold beyond the victim’s control which can result into becoming a heartless. The only suppression of this dark inner force is the person him/herself. ۞Dark Horizon A curse to cast a world in darkness and littered with her thorny briars; for this curse to be effective Maleficent would need total siege of the world. If not, her perimeter goes only as far as the lands she does have control over like her former dominion in her home world.

۞Metamorphosis۞

۞Fey Form Although many presume she’s a witch, Maleficent is in-fact a fairy. She can revert into a fey, which to others would appear to be an orb of green light. With her talent of fire, which expanded to other forms of magic, she can bend her mana to warp around her like a galaxy, defending her from attackers when moving in a meek form. ۞Dragon The Dragon is a form she could always tap into. It qualifies to bring her inner darkness to the surface. The only time she didn’t initiate her transformation was when Ansem unlocked her heart with the keyblade forged by the Princesses she collected. As a dragon, she’s more of a physical fighter than before; she’ll rely on her magic, fangs, talon, and tail to fend herself, and may resort to flying. The draconic form calls for a lot of darkness and magic, so she would hardly fight entirely in the air; flying and fighting in her draconic shape, would only drain her more. With her dragon taking so much energy to uphold, she would only stay in this form for 15 posts before reverting back into a fairy. ۞Draco’s Flame – In her dragon form, her fires are more expansive. She can breathe out hellfire to burn for 3 rounds without incanting. If one was to get caught in her flames or ignited, it can burn for 2 posts straight unless one uses a blizzard or water spell. ۞Draco’s Wrath – Stomping on the floor, she can emit shock waves to knock back her enemies. ۞Draco’s Purge – Flying in the air, she would dive down to fly through her enemies, while snapping her jaws. ۞Draco’s Fury – An aerial attack, where Maleficent charges a ball of explosive flames before firing on her prey. ۞Dragon’s Slumber – Once reverting from her dragon form into a meek fey, the Fairy would whisk away to regenerate herself for five posts before going back into the fray. Although this is her point of vulnerability, don’t put it past her to summon the worst heartless she can grab to be a defending wall. If she was opposing strong heartless, her hold on lesser heartless would slacken, so she have a better choice in fleeing to live another day.

۞Weapon۞
She carries a long wooden staff with a glowing green glass ball. She uses it to direct her spells and curses.

۞Appearance۞

A notable trademark of the fey is her fauna green skin; one would think she was some sort of a nymph with its lushness, but her animalistic yellow snake-like eyes, the twist of her red painted lips, and demon like horns sets off a dark connotation easily.

Her face looks impeccably stiff with her finely arched brows that makes her look like she always frowning and dissatisfied. She have a strong chin and high cheek bones to put more hard tones to her femininity. Carrying a high air about herself, she takes time to paint her nails, which few are covered in iron reaver claws to resemble talons.

The robes she once wore, the black obsidian and dark purple fabrics fringed with flame like ends, is now modified to be a hooded cloaked that’s bound to her leather fitted bodice dress. Even with the worlds rubbing off on her, she stills a woman of stature; her attire still shows some modesty. The dress still have a high neck line, but it’s ringed while ending in a bat-like wing flair. The same ring like extrusion contorts around her bust, but below her bust line the leather is scaled. The rest of the skirt drops towards her toes with high splits on the side to give some relief in movement. To make sure it doesn’t say too much to expose her legs, they are linked by chains.

Her draconic headdress had some modification of being a steal like material with intricate petite extruding curvy designs, which makes it look more of an armored helmet than an accessory.

Altogether she looks like a female partner of the devil.

۞Personality۞
With her failure after failure, Maleficent’s patience became more minimal. She have a growing paranoia and fixation of perfecting her plans, which may make her come of a little of her rocker around those who she permits to see her true colors. For years she’s been used a pawn, her of all people; for years and pursuit of power, she’s been trumped by the lot of them. How many wielders have she crossed and fell at the end of their forsake keyblades? It disgusted her more how she was a ploy for Master Xehanort and all of his reincarnations including heartless and nobody. On top of that she had a weak crew called the Hellfire; she would be damned to have Hook again if only she knew early Wendy wasn’t a Princess. She would’ve have given the man a second thought. Her so called calculating nature of hand-picking her crew resulted to all of them dropping like flies or being so stubborn like Hades.

If anything her history forged a growing bundled nerve in her spine: anger, humiliated, irate, and vengeful. Even after her last attempt to salvage the crumbling world of the World That Shouldn’t Exist, she was steaming. She needed to be better, do better, and have better. The only thing that she reflected on that generally went in the right direction was tempting Riku; with him, he already was crafted to fit her every need; all he needed was a little push. If she was ever going to be on top, she needed to pick her so called cohorts wisely. Pete could only be a lackey nothing more or less; she needed hearts black like her, but tamable to bend or one simple to overcome.

If anything with her past, Maleficent became more stern and calculating; she still holds her grace, which is only proper for a future ruler, queen, empress, etc. Despite her new found knowledge, don’t trust a damn heartless if her life depends on it or a hungrier bastard that would quickly throw her under a bus, she still have low tolerance for incompetence. Failing her would come with a price for she doesn’t have time to make too many mistakes; kingdom hearts is now an interest of not 1 group, but now 3 including her own. The search for power became a competition, and with the ultimate Kingdom Hearts being sealed off, it forced them to ravage the universe of its worlds. The game went from chess to the Hunger Games, kill or be killed, take in the price of iron, and always build up more as you go along. Not being stronger isn’t an option especially when one is opposing 25 individuals, and she would be damned if she makes a pact with either the Organization or the Dark XII. In her eyes, they are opposites of the same coin. Tangoing with them would only toss her in the same predicaments unless she manages to outwit them.

۞History۞
From her lands, fairies do not bring seasons to the land but guidance to the people they live with. Their talent is using magic to bring joy and happiness to others. In a sense, a fey’s life is doomed to essentially be a fairy godmother. But why spend your entire life time building up others rather than yourself? It’s not like the humans ever thank the fairies in a tenfold in comparison of the blessings they were given. Rather than giveaway her blessings so freely to others who don’t even ponder in giving back, she preferred to focus on herself, which rose to the title of The Mistress of All Evil. She was the fairy to fall of the deep end immense herself in the dark arts and magic for her own bidding rather than others. Because her studies were far more expansive than fairies similar to the “Three Good Fairies”, she was deemed the most powerful of the lands, but not all the lands in existence were hers. She wasn’t strong enough to claim them all, and there was far more magic than she knew of.

With a little helpful birdy, she learned of Kingdom Hearts and the key to unlock it, and the fey would blame her youth, anxiousness, and naïve nature to not see how 'too good to be true' this was. A stranger gave her the map to the biggest treasures in the world; perhaps it was a red flag from there for someone to be so willingly to share it with her without hesitation. That was the start of over a decade long blindness; blindly she had assembled those to assist on her quest alongside Ansem to hunt down the Princesses of Hearts. Evidential they all fell one by one; surely she had thought she would see the end, but no. The true head of the operations made sure to be out of the way of being a blockade from that blasted Child and his pet dog and duck; perhaps she was spoiled by her victory after victory including taking down Radiant Garden and grabbing the needed Princesses.

In darkness, she was nothing, non-existent in a sense, but memory brought her back. Perhaps rumors were true, she was a personification of darkness and can never truly be gone forever. Once coming back, she was at lost to some decree. There was new on-goings, new people involved, and all of her old cohorts were gone or so she thought. With being tossed back in the fray, her influences were rather weak, since she rushed into it trying to hold and grasp power, while someone was already ahead of her. She hardly had time to breathe and digest what happened before and fully see what was occurring now to even have a strong foundation. The Fey even tried to find a gem in chaos when The World That Never Was fell with the fall of the Organization; surely her empire could rise with their destruction, but the wave of darkness caused by a damaged Kingdom Hearts was a powerful one. It was pure pandemonium proving it difficult to gain control over the lot of heartless.

Maybe the failure was a blessing in disguise to take her time, rethink it all, and then re-assemble once again. She needed hearts almost as black as hers, but easy to control.



۞Role Playing Sample۞

The Villian’s Vale, a tacky name at that, seems to have been untouched and for good reasons. This defense mechanism named Tron doesn’t have superior range to cast the darkness out completely; if anything he merely challenges those who come in. Personally she shouldn’t have to sneak in to her kingdom, which she see less and less remnants as the committee continues to restore their spat of land. At least there was one dwelling that still bear her mark, a lone tower in the outskirts of the town. She had come of use of it the previous year, and unfortunately it was the only remaining safe-houses she can call for gathering; any other place she would have to take or hide within.

Traverse Town was snatched by a witch; she made inquiry of this Jadis to join her, but she declined. Very well to not be with her qualifies in being against her, but once she had more able bodies perhaps she can entice the icicle again. Some worlds were at a standstill of ignorance; perhaps those would be her best bet, Twilight Town, Halloween Town, and more. Yet what resources this those worlds have to give except their hearts.

The only good they’ll do for me is to no longer exist, to fall into darkness. But wait there was another world; actually there was two. To siege Disney Castle would be a laughable venture; oh but that would only occur to rouse up the King. She’d done it once, well attempted, and that little predictable mouse called towards the key to help recover his world. The idea in her mind actually made the fey chuckled, “You can’t recover a kingdom when it’s obliterated.”

No, she would rather steal it’s heart versus leaving a world for him to gain back. It would be a slap in the face yes, but it would be a clear message to not fall asleep on her just yet. As much as vengeance was a sweet delight to indulge herself in, she wasn’t in the position to deal with hostile heart-fueled rebuttal from the Keyblade Master after demolishing all that he loves. Oh yes to see his distorted face once hearing the news of his world dying due to his and the Cornerstone absence with a love letter from her truly with the Queen’s Crown as a parting gift. No, perhaps taking it as her own trinket would be more sublime.

White teeth including a couple of fangs gleamed between lips red as blood with her sinister chuckle; she have a devious mind of a devil, destroy a world just to bring sorrow; at least obtaining its heart would be a wondrous perk. Still it wasn’t a suitable kingdom, and fortunately she knew the perfect place, where all that ends meet. They couldn’t even restore their worlds either; this would be utter bliss. By taking down worlds, they would building her kingdom, but she would need those hearts…and she would need some filthy hearts to grab them.

Sitting on her throne, her legs were crossed over the other as she sat straight with her head craned back in thought. Until she concluded everything, her dark eyes fell on the little minion she had left, “Pete! It’s time to go on a road trip.”

“So aaah who do ya want me to pick up this time around,” The overweight bulldog panted while standing alert with his triangular ears pointed straight.

“You are NOT getting ANYONE. Last time I sent you on a simple errand I obtained NO ONE and NOTHING!” She stood up and moved her cloak back to fall off her shoulders. Walking towards the archway exit, she peered out looking towards Radiant Garden, “I’m leaving you a simple task. Roam the worlds and be my ears, nothing more nothing less. Surely if they see you; they’d know ‘Maleficent is up to no good’, but I want you to play a fool.”

Her eyes glanced over at him not missing the upset expression that quickly left his face, “a task that should be rather easy for you. Tell them I fired you, especially those who know of your affiliations. Of-course they won’t believe you, but having you do nothing would give them no leads of what I’m doing. They can suspect what they wish, but suspecting is far from truly knowing. Being so easily…noticed and having an unforgettable face, having you representing me would only give me away.”

“Oh I uuh seem, so uh where do yah what me to go,” Pete started.

“Go to Twilight Town, and call on very little heartless. I don’t need anyone suspecting you’re the source. They will find the keyhole and shall report to me. If you hear any whispers of the Organization or those Heartless, report to me by those shadows. You will do no other actions unless I tell you otherwise. I have some old bones to uproot,” with a shroud of darkness she reverted into a little green ball and zoomed off with a Raven not far behind.

Trying to make her distinctively different from Jadis..other than being the Fire to her Ice. On that note expect an updated Jadis profile. I'm WIPing just in case I want to make some nip and tuck changes.

I know Maleficent is pretty bad-arse in the KH series and her home movie, but picky Zepho would still like to see a few more drawbacks in her abilities, and weaknesses. As herself:

All her -aga spells pack a hefty punch. Perhaps make a note of how many can be used per post/per every few posts? And/or consider some of these limitations;

- I think a weight limit should be noted for levitation.
- Perhaps the further her flames travel, the more they fizzle out.
- Being hit by the ball of lightening itself has more of an impact then the teeny little shocking arms.
- Time limit for invisibility, or a weakness in other abilities while concentrating on making herself invisible.
Blahblah ect.

As a dragon: I'd assume her vision is much more narrowed, and her movements slower.

Apart from powers, which I know you'd handle fine anyway, Malefy looks good!

I was leaning towards making Maleficent a magic dependent character; she's pretty much a black mage. She doesn't really fight physically or face to face (unlike Jadis) until she's a dragon; even as a dragon she has more affiliation with her magic then physicality. Also she was pretty swift enough to spin around in a 360 in gameplay, but no she won't be running 100 miles per hour...flying that fast..eeeeh maybe. And yeah...I can go all scientfic...saying that D: hey eyes are at the front of her head making her a hunter, so similar to cat she'd have to turn her head to see about her...and she doooes have ears along with out animal senses.

I guess I'm wondering how close can I stay to such formatting: high magic, moderate to low physical strength, to low defense.

In kh1: She...levitated a big hunk of the chapel for quite some time. I don't know how would that estimate in weight, but she won't be up-chucking buildings. And in KH 1: her flames were pretty consistent, so that's just sourcing canon material.

The ball of light ejecting arms is more so a description of what it looks like similar to these. I used to have ooone. Instead of multiple bolts like a classic thunder spell; it's a ball that stretches out arms to hit multiple people D: Anyho I don't know how much more detail of impact you need for a high thunder spell. So what are you looking for? You ask for limitations, but in this..it's like your asking for expansion.

The invisibility is a passive spell that I'd ideally think would be used outside of battle rps. It's more so to travel the worlds undetected. She considers herself a formidable opponent so she won't be cowardly disappearing on people.

Also while editing look back and forth between her and Jadis to make sure they are as different as I can possibly get them IC. They intersect in multiple way so if you say anything to put more difference in them just shot.

I was just giving suggestions, for you to use or not, especially if you have canon info to back them up. Either way it should have gotten the point across; if you are going to have the drawbacks be through weak defense and whatnot then you should squeeze that in. Lemme know when you've got that down and she should be good to go.

I don't see any problems between Maleficent and Jadis as far as similarities. They're both naturally similar powerful women in small ways, and you obviously have given much effort to make them not bleed into one another. I trust you'll do fine keeping them individual.
