In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

I know i should not have created a new thread just for this question but i couldnt think of where to put this question. I want to start a character and go right into the RP academy, but i dont think i am good enough to even create a character. Is there anyone i can talk to that could help me out with a character creation?

Hi hi I'm Ellie, and I think it would be better if you roughly started your profile out...just to get a feel of what you're trying to do before we, the staff, come and help fix out the kinks.
In short, get the visualization and feel of your character first. It's hard to help someone create something that they don't...have in mind.
oh hey! thanks. well you see, im kinda a one person kind of guy. so, im really afraid of getting into my character, but not being able to explain it well enough. then i do a bad job and get it denied, in which i cant ever use that character again. you know what i mean?

Yes and No, because...
a.) I'm 'understanding' the hesitation of messing up the sole character you're going to play here, but I'd counter saying that during the charrie evaluation we help fix what is deemed 'bad' in this rp such as: an overpowered character or a character with an odd concept not fitting for this rpg.
If anything most rejected profiles are caused by not making timely edits. So don't count yourself out before you even started.
b.) You may want to break the habit of just playing one person. I'm just saying if you're nervous about making your very own, then a canon maaay be easier. Why? Half the battle is done; they're already created. You just need to personify them well, and make any necessary edits for them (which is mainly in abilities anyways).
c.) The staff will help you elaborate where you're short at if its necessary.
So overall...try it out first before you psyche yourself up. To boost your confidence, take a gander at accepted characters in the Final Profile to see what we're looking for. For guidance, look at the rejected profiles to see their mistakes and what to avoid.
I can tell you from the top of my head a lot of work with profiles comes to
+ Abilities --> Because a bulk of people and Kairi's grandma try to make unique and strong characters. We're either trying to define these new concepts, or toning down their strengths by placing downfalls, drawbacks, limitations, etc.
+ History --> Because some people tend to forget important details of KH canon or disregard are "what not to do" list in the profile template thread. I can't count how many times I reiterate what's been already said in that thread...and that includes word counts.
Soooo take your time, don't rush yourself, heck when in doubt make a WIP (juust be sure to have something complete-ish by 7 days)
