In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

All around the world, people considered Pokemon their precious friends and companions. Yet, in the land known as Serune, things were a bit different. It is human nature to be greedy, yes, but the people of Serune took it to new levels. Enslaving Pokemon, forcing them to work days on end with no rest, all in their desperate attempts to make more money. These people were known as the Higher Beings, the rich upper class, and they'd do anything to make a quick buck. The Lower Beings, known as Trainers to the rest of the world, protested again and again, but to no avail. The Pokemon League was banned, and tensions ran high. That is, until a Higher Being experiment went horribly wrong- instead of harvesting the powers of Pokemon, they created monsters. Pokemorphs. The Lower Beings were furious, and all out war fell across the land.
To protect themselves and uphold their laws, the Higher Beings created Team Kavulent, an organization of mercenaries, nothing more than thugs, really. They cracked down on Trainers, ruling with an iron fist, but the League continued their work in secret. The war raged for decades, with many casualties on both sides, until Arceus himself appeared to a Higher Being with a prophecy. On that day, a boy was born. A boy that would put a halt to the war forever.
It's been fifteen years since the time of the prophecy- the boy, if he exists, will be rising soon. But how could he possibly fight without an army? The Trainers are scattered on their journeys, trying to raise their Pokemon to the point where they'd have a chance against Kavulent. Will this war finally end? Or will it destroy Serune forever? Only time will tell...
