Name: Yuri
Nickname:N/A
Organization XIII or Dark XII Nickname:N/A
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Species:Clavat
Position: Good
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: Above Average Strength: Due to training for so very long in swordplay, Yuri has more experience in it than you’d expect. But it’s not just the swordplay, at a young age he was taught to cut wood because of his late father. (Passive)
Cooking: Yuri taught himself how to cook after the incident as well. He’s quite good a choosing the proper spices and the like for different meals. If he has food with him, he can heal slightly by eating it. (The former is passive, the latter is has a cool down of at least 2 posts because he’s not going to find food everywhere)
Weapon/Items:Bronze Sword: Yuri’s main weapon. Not all that strong, but good enough for him, it is a weapon he has trained with for years. Therefore, he can use it efficiently despite its lack of power.
Hatchet: Useful for chopping wood but not so much for fighting, Yuri has this hatchet on him as somewhat of a memory of his quickly passed childhood. It reminds him of times when his father used to chop wood, as well.
Picture:YuriAppearance: A messily brown haired boy, Yuri is still quite young and also looks it, both in body and in face. He’s got pale, almost grey green eyes, and wears his fathers old clothing. The outfit includes metal in triangular shapes on his arms and around his torso in a tube shape down to his hips where it goes back to being triangular. Also noticeable a green jacket that has a yellow gold angle on it, with matching shoes also outlined in yellow. Paler green pants underneath the jacket are there as well. He seems to wear a lot of green. Under his shoes are a pair of white tights, although they do not make him look any more feminine than he already does. He’s average sized for one of his age in height.
Personality:Cheerful, yet serious, Yuri is burdened with responsibilities that he wishes he didn’t have. He’s kind and curious, and nearly fearless. The boy is very optimistic about life, although he would take the bullet for his close friends and twin sister. He doesn’t love fighting, but he doesn’t hate it, and with his ability to make light out of most situations, he’s able to do it and willing too. He’s also a bit lonely sometimes, but keeps it to himself. He has trouble being alone, but if Chelinka’s there he’s okay. He and his sister are very close, however, and she can practically read his mind. As a matter of fact, they have trouble keeping secrets from each other. They know the other’s feelings, and sometimes thoughts.
Yuri is the younger of the two, and also the braver. He’s not shy, and in fact very outgoing. If someone hurts his friends, though, he can become angry. He likes groups of friends, as is obvious by the fact that he has a group. He’s not afraid when it comes to things that would normally make a person stuck or scared, although he does worry at times.
Original World: Rebena Te Ra (although the exact location is in a Villa nearby)
Current World: Traverse Town
Movie/Video Game(s): Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
History:Born son to Latov and Aleria only twenty-eight seconds after his twin sister Chelinka, Yuri loved and still loves his family dearly. Shortly into his young life, his mother Aleria was taken from him and the others. With her whereabouts unknown, Latov raised Yuri and Chelinka with the help of neighbors Meeth and Alhanalem. Meeth would make meals, Al would teach the children, and Latov would protect the kids and get firewood.
Of course, that all changed when the twins turned nine. The same cloaked figure who’d taken their mother tried to take Chelinka. He failed at getting the girl, but murdered their father, who Yuri later buried remorsefully. Chelinka stayed silent for a long while, and Yuri trained and cooked throughout the years that they were alone together in the house. Yuri found it somewhat saddening, and brought upon change to his personality; instead of a cheerful somewhat-of-a-trickster child, he’s stay optimistic but become much more serious and responsible of a boy.
Becoming a skillful cook and a somewhat skillful swordsman, Yuri set out to find their neighbors. He quickly met Al on the top of a mountain, and later met a new friend, Gnash, in a forest. After a few important adventures, they got Meeth back. In Rela Cyel, Yuri nearly dies, but with Chelinka and the ghost of Tilika (the late princess) he makes it. Eventually, they keep trying and failing to beat the cloaked figure, which reveals itself to be Cu Chaspel. More time passes, and with more adventures made, the male and his friends eventually defeated him and Galdes, the leader of Cu Chaspel and such, as well as the hierophant.
Sometime after Galdes was defeated, Yuri and Chelinka have returned home, with Chelinka silent again. Yuri fell ill for unknown reasons. Chelinka saved him, but she died in the process. Eventually, Yuri was transported to a timeline, where he was still older, but his friends and family were still alive. Soon, however, things would change again. Yuri, falling asleep in the cave he and Chelinka had originally learned to fight in due to lack of sleep, woke up with a literal jolt of electricity in a new place. And, as he may soon have figured out, it was not just a new place. It was an entirely different world. He immediately wanted to know where his friends and twin were, but he had no way of finding out. Nobody knew him or had seen any sign of his friends.
Role Playing Sample: “Ouch! I’m up!” The boy shouted, rubbing the back of his head. He’s been hit by electricity. Someone must have used Lightning. At least, he thought so.
Yuri sighed, looking around at where he was. “Wait. I thought I was in that cave.”
He definitely wasn’t in a cave anymore. This was a city. Or a town, whichever you’d call it. To Yuri, it was a city, for sure. It was big to him, possibly bigger than Rebena Te Ra, or maybe just the same size. He’d overheard some locals calling it ‘Traverse Town’. He didn’t ask, but he did wonder why. It was a weird name to him.
What an odd place. He thought to himself, staring up and down at the buildings. They didn’t seem like anything he’d ever seen.
Frowning, he wandered the streets, asking about his friends and his sister. He didn’t see them, and was so confused after many people had told him they had seen no sign, he sighed. “Where am I anyway? I don’t remember a Traverse Town.”
He didn’t remember the place at all. He probably would’ve been told by one of his friends, but, none of them were with them. He assumed already that none of them knew, especially by the shape of the structures. They weren’t familiar.
But how? He wondered to himself, How could he end up here? He had only just fallen asleep in the cave he and his sister first fought a ‘boss-like’ enemy in. It had been that scorpion-thing. He groaned. Maybe some monsters had carried him off or something, but he couldn’t recall, being asleep the whole time.
The people were friendly here and all, but he wanted to be home. It wasn’t as comfortable here as it was there, but that must have been because he was so used to it.
“Maybe I’ll find a way home.” He said, beginning to brighten in mood. He felt more confident about being there. “Maybe I’ll be able to get back home after I’m done here.”
Perhaps he would and perhaps he wouldn’t. For now, he just had to trust himself and his instinct. Besides, this place didn’t seem
bad. Maybe he’d get used to it, but his goal was definitely to get back to his home.
