In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Is it only me, or have you ever actually wished that a zombie apocalypse/end of the world scenario would happen? ... just so you could have some super cool adventure in your life? Or maybe even like a game [besides KH of course] or book that you wished was real? To the point that it made you upset that real life was boring?
To be honest... I'm not a expert on 'how I will die during a zombie apocalypse', but hehe.... but according to Project Zomboid.... I will leave on my oven while putting some cooked chicken in my pockets just for a second, and then the oven will combust, burning down my safe house and attracting all the zombies in the area. I will then be upset that I chose 'near sighted' and 'hard of hearing' for my traits as zombies break through the windows but I can't hear or see them. Sounds like a great way to go.......
I feel like if we do ever have a zombie apocalypse, hard-core bad-asses will be all >D All riiiiight! for the first few days, then not so much when they recall the 'apocalypse' part, and realize that everything and everyone pretty much go to hell after that.
I think I can have some super awesome cool adventures in my life without needing the end of the world. Things like that are incredibly dramatized by Hollywood and games to the point where, hey look, someone actually wishes for a second that it could happen. xD

Hehe, maybe you just aren't the adventurous type, and are more the level-headed-stopping-people-from-creating-zombies-just-so-they-can-be-a-boss-and-become-a-bandit kind of person. I...don't think I'm quite the latter type of person.
Oh thanks for the link, xD now I'll probably start building a bomb shelter in my basement for when WWIII breaks out and I need protection from ... bombs. Sounds legit right?
Hehe.... alright..... but what if the scenario was more 'you're the main character, and uh.. that cool stuff... you can do all of it!'? Instead of burning your house down by accidentally forgetting to turn off the oven and then dying, you were outside fighting off bad guys all day long?
I'm gonna second Zeph's thought. Plenty of amazing, adventurous things can happen to a person without the need for something like the apocalypse. Just... think about it. Think of how many people would be dead. Think of all the people you know that would have died, and the very likely possibility that you will die. The constant threat of death doesn't seem like an adventure to me... more like a life of fear. And zombies are freaking terrifying, too, so I can imagine a not-so-slow decrease of humanity's sanity until we, too, are killing each other off.
Not pleasant.
I personally don't find any joy in violence, either. All of my friends know that the games I pick I mostly pick in terms of plot, and complain about the fighting in almost every instance. There are a few exceptions to this rule - Dynasty Warriors (I like the lack of blood), Battlefront (also the lack of blood), Tomb Raider (FOR THE PUZZLES), Bioshock (a large number of times trying to play it with a friend until I FINALLY got past the first couple of levels, and I can only play for short periods of time before I get squeamish again... but the plot in this game is PHENOMENAL) - but for the most part I don't like violence. (I also practice pacifism in real life, and am a vegetarian for wanting to HELP THE ANIMALS!1111!!!!1 among other reasons.)
Also, I looked at your link, Zeph, and I had to stop reading, 'cause it was a bit too depressing for me. v__v;
But I won't deny that I've wished I existed in a video game or a book or two - like the Harry Potter universe. I've also given plenty of thought to having a Sburb session in Homestuck - my friend and I have our order of entry all worked out, the whole chain of client/server players, as well as hypothetical God Tiers and Lands and such - but the truth is if meteors ever did destroy humanity in such a fashion, the odds are not high that my team and I would ever be able to enter the game at all... and the fact is, we would be taking barely a percentage of humanity with us. Namely, a group of friends... if we ever did get past that first hurdle.
But I love imagining waking up in Traverse Town and working to get my world back again (despite the likelihood that I will never go home); or being a Hufflepuff at Hogwarts; or being a shapeshifter, or one of the X-men, or other things like that. It's fantastical to imagine at the time, but the idea of how much my comfortable life would change is a bit too much for me to really want all those crazy things to happen.
(except for maybe being a witch that studied at Hogwarts. that would be really really nifty.)
My same friend I mentioned earlier has been working with me to design a Final Fantasy game starring us and our friends, and we both agreed that I would be the White Mage of the bunch. I complained for a bit, and then he brought up the other option - actually physically fighting the monsters - and then I was like... "yeah I'm the White Mage." Which I'm chill with. Healing people? Super rad. (I also wouldn't be the stereotypical damsel-in-distress-must-have-a-love-interest White Mage, but the one with a sailor mouth [lemme tell you guys omg in real life...] and no romance plot. HECK YEAH BREAKING THE STEREOTYPES i'mma shut up now this is getting off topic)
-end super long post, oops it seems I've caught the verbosity bug-
Well Reason destroys me again, just like in elementary when the teacher told me 'Evian, you know the sky isn't green'.
Yeah I think Harry Potter would probably be the best to be in, considering that magical cool fun stuff is fun.
I have to disagree with your thoughts; although, my OC is about the most cowardly person in the world: I am the kind of person that thinks 'death at every corner' is interesting. hehe.... what's the worst that could happen? You die, it's not like you'll have time to think about why you wished for an apocalypse after that.... but if you survive... that feeling is the best.
Okay, well tell me the things that you guys consider adventure? Going to a foreign country? Reading? I guess those are small adventures... but a SUPER adventure is what I want from life!
Reading a book, sure. Definitely going to a foreign country - that's a HUGE adventure. Meeting people you wish to spend the rest of your life with... and people you despise. Falling in love. Getting your heart broken. Choosing to not let love be your guiding point. Having choices in general. Dabbling in the little "magical" things in life, like music and art and RPing. Going to a crazy concert. Getting roaring drunk once in your life, just to say you did. Starting college with plans to start a life for your own soon. Having a whole variety of people change your perspectives on things. Daring to look at things differently. Arguing with your friends, and maybe never making up later. Fighting for a cause you believe in, whether it's equal rights or vegetarianism or what have you. Feel someone close to you die, and in the same life, witness birth. Being completely aware of the danger we're all in every day, and yet being able to walk the city streets with a grin on your face. Breathing, and marveling at the fact that you're alive.
also WOW THIS GOT DEEP OOPS.
But yeah, those are all adventures, I think. I fantasize too much, but I'm beginning to realize that life is too short to not realize that your own life is an adventure. It's what you make it to be.
ehhhhh whatever man. I can preach all I'd like, but I know I've wished for more fantastical things. But I'm beginning to realize all the things I said above.
I guess it's better to not make everyone else in the world die for my own amusement, but I shall continue to secretly wish for some delicious apocalypse action.
...Yeeeah. Evian, "cool story bro"ing perfectly legitimate and thought out responses to your topic is a sure fire way to not make friends here fast. >.>;;
...
So anyone else here read the A Song of Ice and Fire series? =D
It would be incredible to spend a bit in other worlds, though, totally! For a short time when I was younger, I was genuinely convinced I'd be getting a letter to Hogwarts. <333 Nowadays I'd totally add Middle Earth, Narnia, the worlds from shows such as Bleach... plop myself in a Star Wars movie with a younger Harrison Ford, and I'm set, really.
Hmm. Neverland and Westeros don't interest me as much. xD
Totally almost done with A Clash of Kings, girlie.
Hehe, maybe you just aren't the adventurous type, and are more the level-headed-stopping-people-from-creating-zombies-just-so-they-can-be-a-boss-and-become-a-bandit kind of person.
Until you know a person better, refrain from making assumptions of their character. You haven't a clue of who I am or what I've done. It's just common courtesy - thank you.

Man I was convinced I was going to Hogwarts until I was at LEAST fourteen years old. XDD MMM HARRISON FORD~ <3333 yes I second that Star Wars thought. Also I wouldn't really want to go to Neverland either. Just... eh.
Never heard of Song of Ice and Fire, sorry y'all. .__.
If you want an adventure, get a bicycle, find a road, and start riding. I want to recite Dr. Suess's book Oh, the Places You'll Go! but I don't know any of the lines other than that and "the people you'll see".
Go to a foreign land with nothing to your name and live there for a few months. For added excitement, don't go to a place with a language you can speak.
Adventures, to me, are putting yourself out of your comfort zone and going with the flow. You don't need an apocalyptic scenario to fulfill that adventurous spirit. Take a drive, run out of gas, and then figure out how you're going to get home.
In all honesty, stuff that like gets me really excited, but I don't think I could ever go through with it. I'm too comfortable and too afraid. With a job, a spouse, and pets to take care of, who would be there for them if I was just like, "Adventure time! See you in however long it takes for me to get back!" And me? I can barely do the dishes without wanted to kill myself.
I guess I'll just continue to satisfy my inner adventurer through books and writing.
