Fuzei's ThemeName: Fuzei Aero
Nickname: Fuzei Wannabe(Stemming from his desire to be a defender of justice similar to fictional heroes), Wind Tamer(Only in sarcasm, as he is considered a failure at wind magic, which is ironically what he chose to specialize in. He's determined to make this nickname true, so-to-speak)
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Position: Good/Heroic
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills: As the explanation pertaining to one of his nicknames states, he's considered a failure at Wind Magic. Even so, he strives to develop his skills in order to use them in his ever-fictional battle against evil and those that loom in the darkness, no matter how far-fetched it may be. A list of his skills and magical abilities are listed below:
Aero- Though at the lowest possible level, Fuzei can summon winds that spiral around him in a vortex-like formation. This shields him against physical attacks from his opponents. Since Fuzei's skills with this specific ability are quite low in contrast to other skilled users, the wind-shield is still capable of being breached, leaving Fuzei open to taking damage at that point. One unique drawback in this skill stems from Fuzei's own skills in the usage. Using the technique too many times in quick succession leads to a slight case of dizziness and nausea for unspecified reasons. The general amount of Aero castings he can manage are currently at two.
Low/Basic Acrobatic- Living on Destiny Islands with a craving for exploration, he naturally attuned himself with climbing up large tree's or jumping over large gaps to reach his destination. Though not graceful by any means, this still gives him some natural acrobatic skills to use in and out of battle situations.
Double Jump- Not simply game mechanics. Though the technique itself fails 50% of the time while attempted to be used by Fuzei, this allows him to solidify the air below his feet temporarily in order for him to leap off of it mid-jump, resulting in a "Double Jump". See? It's a bit more complex then pressing X or O
Basic Swordsmen Skills- Through self-training, spanning for 30 minutes each day, he was able to develop basic swordsmen skills. Though he has yet to test his skills against any actual opponent, he seems to take pride in his skills nonetheless. Some of his skills came from his father, who trained him at a very young age.
Weapon/Items:Though assumed nothing special by Fuzei himself, his family was a clan of Wind Elemental Users. His Grandfather passed the blade down to his son, Fuzei's father, who in turn passed it down to Fuzei. This greatly helped in his ongoing escapades in becoming a 'True Hero' by definition. Though the sword isn't used to a fraction of it's actual potential due to Fuzei and his father gradually losing track of their heritage. In appearance, the blade's hilt is a dark purple color, becoming lighter as it flows down to the hilt. More of the appearance can be found in the picture.
He also carried a light satchel-like carrier for any miscellaneous items he may find on his journeys of discovery.
Appearance: Many would wonder why Fuzei looks the way he does, but in retrospect, it would be easily defined by what he was influenced by while growing up. His peach colored skin reflects his lonely childhood, sitting on the bulk of the oddly curved paopu tree, staring out at the ocean, wondering what lied in the distance, farther then his eyes could possible see. His child-like nose, small ears and overall carefree yet stern facial expressions showed his desire to be treated older why still being able to retain his childish enthusiasm and love for life. His eyes were a true, dark green color that gleamed against the sun's reflection on Destiny Islands crystal blue waters.
His lean yet muscular body tone revealed his drive to become a 'True Hero', standing with his feet sternly pounded against the squishy, damp sand of the ocean's shore and swinging his sword out in front of him multiple times as well as spending his time climbing the islands tall trees, swimming in it's cool ocean, and running on it's sandy base. His auburn red colored hair was abnormally spiky, the bangs on the front being held up by the white headband that was casually wrapped around the base of his hairline in the mornings.
His clothes represented his interests and the people who inspired him the most in his life. The fictional heroes that protected their homes from evil. He dressed himself in a short sleeve, dark green under shirt, topping it off with a light blue vest that he wore in a manner similar to ninjas of legend. The two shirts were pushed together by a brown leather belt with a golden buckle in the center. Around his wrist and forearm are reddish brown colored arm bands that stretch from his wrist to end of his elbows. He also wore saggy light brown pants that were slightly tucked in as they stretched into his dark-brown boots. Of course, his strange attire wouldn't be complete with his light yellow bandanna carefully tied around his neck. His attire was finally finished with a satchel tucked inside his belt.
He's about 5'6 in height and weighs in at 118 pounds
Personality:Fuzei's personality is like a Warm Winter: Abnormal yet enjoyable to an extent. Lets go more in depth about who Fuzei is. Although hidden by his sometimes stern expressions, he has a caring, encouraging personality that others don't tend to notice unless the situation arises. He can be described as a "Glass is Half-Full" type of guy. As mentioned time and time again throughout this profile, he greatly admires and influenced by Fictional Heroes. He's not quite as influenced by their powers or colorful costumes as he is by their collective personalities. Heroic. Justice-Seeking. Courageous. Daring. These are the characteristics that influence his mindset. Though naturally shy and seclusive due to his past, he struggles to become more open to situations and naturally adapt to things that people wouldn't dare attempt to adapt to.
He constantly tries to be the courageous, heroic person he knows he can be. The only mental fear that blocks him from reaching his goal is his fear of being rejected as well as hurting those who he genuinely wants to protect and keep from harms way. His hobbies usually include creating challenges for himself. For example, one day he might say that he wanted to climb to a certain part of a tall tree. He won't stop until he reaches his goal. The next day he would set his goals higher and continue to try until he reaches his goals successfully. This runs into his personality. He has a genuine drive to succeed in his endeavors no matter what adversity or challenge comes his way.
Another one of his positive traits would be his ability to overcome his fears in a pinch. Whether trying to perform a seemingly impossible feat or attempting to fight against an abnormally strong opponent, he will block out his fears and focus on the situation at hand. It could lead to total defeat or total victory, but he was determined to be able to say "I did my best." in the end despite the outcome.
Original World: Destiny Islands
Fuzei was born and raised on the calm, warm, secluded Destiny Islands.
Current World: Destiny Islands
History:~Prologue to Adventure~(14 years ago)Fuzei Aero, son of Kazeta Aero, was born on July 1st on the calm, warm shores of Destiny Islands. His Mother, Hikari, loved and nurtured Fuzei as her own. Due to his heritage, Kazeta was born with an affinity to wind magic that was noticed earlier on in his life. One particular experience was when he accidentally blew himself out of his crib and onto the floor. He cried and cried...but no one was there to help him. His Father and Mother were on business. This moment was most likely one of the very first turning points for his life. No more crying. He decided that subconsciously, not being able to think intelligently. He was only 1 year old after all. He slowly began to wipe his tears with the arms of his soft, Cotton fabric sown baby attire that he was dressed in earlier that morning. He slowly began to climb up his crib with abnormal strength for a baby his age. He pulled himself over the ledge of his crib and sat back inside. Just then, his father walked in with his toothy grin..one that young Fuzei had come to admire. Kazemata grabbed a book. A book that Fuzei would continue to read as he grew up. One that he would adopt his later ideals from. He opened it up, took a deep breath and began to read. He told of tales from long ago. Stories of heroes who protected their homes from a darkness that was seemingly unstoppable, being triumph because of their infallible courage and will. Whether fictional or non-fictional, Fuzei enjoyed these stories. At the end of each tale, his father would lifted Fuzei over his head. "Always remember that you can be whatever you choose to be..including a hero." He said in a genuine tone. The words weren't just set in Fuzei's mind..but in his heart as well.
~Birth by Sleep~(13 years ago)As a toddler, his parents had already begun to adapt to his heroic escapades. Climbing up high(well at least high to him at his current height) trees, swinging a wooden sword downward multiple times at the sea shore and exploring the islands secrets, one such secret being the mysterious 'Secret Place' found behind a shrug near the waterfall. He would explore it on multiple occasions, having learned how to walk at this earlier age due to his adventuring tendencies. He would pick up a piece of chalk and tally the amount of new things he could discover in the cave. It could be something big such as the cave's mysterious wooden door or something small like the glowing moss in the corners of the cave. There was something new to explore everyday, or at least, that's what it seemed like. His father knew that, as much as he wanted to disregard his heritage, he couldn't take it away from Fuzei. With a sheathed sword at his waist, he called for Fuzei to come with him to the islands damp shores. They would begin training. Though unnoticed, the other children began to watch them train. Snickering and trying to hold back their laughs, this would begin a cycle of embarrassment and secludedness that would affect Fuzei greatly as he grew up.
~Kingdom Hearts 1~(3 years ago)"Argh...!" A twelve year old Fuzei muttered as he gripped the tree branch with his right hand, reaching out with his left in an attempt to grab the cat that sat idly on the rocky ledge. By now, he had embraced his heroic life style. That included rescuing cats from trees..something that he just happened to be doing. The rest of the children his age, most of them knowing him from school, sarcastically cheered him on. The entire island seemed to know of "Fuzei Wannabe", a wannabe superhero. They weren't actually cheering him on..they just wanted something to talk about as well as more things to make fun of Fuzei with. He was too oblivious to note their true intentions. As he slowly began to grasp the cat with his left hand, it jumped towards him. He wasn't able to react before the cat leaped on his face and began to scratch at him furiously. This caused him to lose his grip and fall to the ground, not severely injured. He forced the cat from his face, revealing the claw marks left from the cat's surprise attacks. Handing the cat to the elderly lady who hired him, he turned to his schoolmates who were too busy laughing to notice his gaze. Though he was unsure what to make of it, his desire to make friends overcame his desire to stand up for himself..and he laughed with them. These events repeated, the only difference being the time and place. He was almost a practical joke to them. He spent most of his day's alone in his house with his father, staring at a picture of his mother who had died while he was a child from health complications. Tears streaming from his eyes, he watched the children play through the glass window. That's what it always seemed like to him..that he was watching unstoppable events through an unbreakable window. This would always be a cause for torment and regret for him. This would be the last day that everything would be..normal, in a sense.
On a fateful night, Fuzei sat against the window, looking out at the islands graceful shores. It was quite calming for him, even as he embraced himself in negative thoughts about what his future may hold. No friends. Incomplete family. It seemed like his time on the island would be unmemorable. As he stared at the ocean, he noticed that it had begun to abnormally quake. The water rushed against the shore's at a much faster rate. The sky glowed brightly with a reddish aura that seemed to have been given off by an obscured object that floated in the middle of the sky. What was happening out there? About a hundred thoughts zoomed through his head. Instead of asking himself for answers from each and every question that floated in his mind, he decided to take action. He opened up his window and hopped out on to the sand. Where was he to go? What possessed him to investigate? Not even he could answer those questions for himself.
He picked up a thick wooden stick off of the ground. Who knew what he would run into out alone.
WHOOSH!! The winds picked up in both speed and force as a gust of wind sprawled past him. Following the wind was a brief moment of silence. Utter silence. It didn't last long. A shadow separated itself from the meager shadow of a coconut tree that stood a few feet from where he stood. It took on shape and solidified itself, flowing out of the ground. Fuzei's eyes widened in pure shock and disbelief. It's piercing yellow eyes stared at Fuzei, scanning him up and down before leaping off of its feet expectantly, attempting to pounce Fuzei. He reacted instinctively, desperately swinging the wooden stick in it's direction. What happened next made his fearful expression even more horrifying. The stick sailed right through the creature. As contact seemed imminent, he ducked and rolled out of the way. He couldn't fight these..'things'..no matter how badly he wanted too. He called out for anyone who needed help. Nothing but the wind answered his call, a gust of it blowing past him again. After that, silence. He ran away from his shadowed pursuers, making his way on top of the wooden shack that sat idly near the bridge that led to the famed paopu tree. He tiled his head to the right..spotting another islander. Spiky brown hair...red jump suit...wooden sword. He seemed familiar. Perhaps he had seen him at school or other wise. He called out to him, but the wind jumbled his words. He couldn't get to him either, as the shadow creatures blocked his way. At the very least, he had to help his father. He evaded his pursuers once more, ducking and diving out the way of them. He busted into his house, looking around for any sign of his father. There was none. He fell to his knee's. It seemed as if everything was lost in one fowl swoop. He gripped the stick tightly out of anger. He had already lost his mother...now his father? The only family he had? No. He wouldn't allow it to happen. He ran outside once more, towards the pier. He looked up at the sky. It was enveloped by a large, red orb of horrific destruction. Before he could fathom what it's purpose was, he began to feel tugged by a gravitational force that couldn't be stopped. Before long, the tugs power had increased 10 fold. He held on to a nearby fence, struggling to keep himself positioned on the ground..but to no avail. The tug proving to strong for him to handle, he was forced to let go. Letting out a sharp yell, he was soon consumed by the red orb. Everything..grew..silent...
"Where...am I....?That was the first question that he uttered as he awoke near a place resembling a restaurant. The pleasant aroma of scented candles invaded his nostrils. He rubbed his head with his right hand. What had happened? He couldn't remember it..as it was obscure in his mind. He did remember his prime objective though. His Father was missing. He had to find him. He assumed that he had ended up here as well. Even if he didn't, he had to look. He began walking. As he stepped up the stairs, he entered into a 'Shop-like' building. A man with brown hair and a squinty expression stood behind the desk. He walked up to him and asked him if he had seen his father. He described him almost perfectly. His gruff expression, his goatee, his dark reddish hair. The shop owner stared at him with a thoughtful, yet impatient expression. He shook his head but seemingly felt a little sympathetic for the young boy, introducing himself as 'Troy'. The man explained that he substituting for the actual owner, but Fuzei didn't mind. He welcomed him back to the shop at any time, which Fuzei was grateful for. He began his search, though half of his search was exploring his new environment. Various crates and shops. Strange buildings. The only thing similar to Destiny Islands was the calm, brilliant night sky that was littered with dazzling stars. As he entered into the 'second district' of the town, he was amazed at the sights he saw. It was so much more different then the small island he originated from. It was only a matter of time before the shadowed pursuers attacked him once more. They rose from the ground, separating from the meager shadows of lamp posts. He slashed at it quickly..but once again, his stick sailed right through it. He knew that he had to run..but he felt like a coward. This was a no land. He wasn't going to run away from challenges anymore, he decided. He slashed at it once more..but it failed once again. The shadow darted towards him quickly. It seemed like it was all over...until he was saved by the person he had least expected. A man with a brown trench coat, auburn red hair much like his, and a sword in his grip. It's hilt gleamed against the light from the moon. He held out his other hand, immediately shooting a sharp gust of wind at the heartless. They quickly dissipated. As he turned to him, he smiled. It was his Father. Glad to be reunited with the only family he had, the two set out to make living conditions for them, ending up living in the hotel in the 2nd district. They lived out their days happily, Fuzei assuming that he'd be in this new town forever..
Little did he know that a young boy, not much older then him, was journeying fourth in order to reclaim Fuzei's lost home. On one night..one fateful night...the world stars seemed to reappear in the skies. Before Fuzei new it, his father and himself were being dragged away from Traverse Town. They appeared on the sandy shores of Destiny Island. Curious of what had happened though happy to be home, the two returned to their lives. His adventure was not quite over, however...but for now he would return to his normal life.
~Kingdom Hearts 2 to present~(2 years ago)With the two happily reunited and back on Destiny islands, with Fuzei at a worthy age to be passed down one of his families most precious heirlooms, he was called home by his now-middle aged father. He grabbed the sword, who was in it's sheath at the time from a chest in the attic of their island home. It was the very same sword his father had used to combat the heartless back on Traverse Town. He asked Fuzei to outstretch his arms, which he did so. He then placed the sword in Fuzei's outstretched hands, causing Fuzei to grip instinctively. Asking what it was, he was answered by his father in a stern tone. This must have been more important then he realized. He was told that the blade itself had been through countless battles, used first by the very first 'Aero' family member. It was then passed down throughout his family, reaching Fuzei's father. Now it was his turn to take possession of the blade. It was also time to begin his training in order to master his element. No sooner then he was explained the origins of the blade was he called on to the shore. He was taught a few of the basics, such as Wind Walking(where the double jump originated from) as well as casting a basic aero spell. He was able to just barely succeed in learning the skills but was nowhere near mastering them. Although he was noted to have a natural affinity for wind magic as such a young age, he seemed to prove the opposite, having failed in his many attempts to cast the spells during his first few training sessions. Nevertheless, his father smiled and patted his head affectionately. He always had hope for his son's future. Fuzei promised to never let him down, returning his smile with one of his own. From that day forward, Fuzei desired to be a true hero. One that would honor his family and make his father truly happy. His drive..his devotion to be a hero...it didn't just come from his love of heroes..but from watching his father work hard everyday for Fuzei's sake. Teaching him how to master techniques that no one would ever think Fuzei was capable of. Now 14, he is determined to work harder. He wasn't going to let fear of rejection or other outside forces harbor his heart and fill him with dread any longer...
From now on, he would be looking towards the light.
Role Playing Sample: "Strange things have been going on lately..." "What's all of this supposed to mean...?"He clapped his left hand over his mouth and used his other hand to pinch his knows. The last thing he had remembered clearly was falling from Destiny Islands light blue skies and into the ocean head first. His heart was pumping at a pace he had never experienced. He couldn't hold it anymore. Fuzei's hands relaxed and went down to his sides. "This is the end." He thought, assuming he was going to drown. Suddenly, he had an amazing realization. He could breath(e) underwater. Not nearly as well. Not even slightly less well. He could breath(e) perfectly. His eyes opened wide. "How was this happening?" The young teenager thought to himself, tilting his head back down to look at the floor he stood on. It was pitch black. No signs of light. He was significantly surprised that he wasn't falling into the oceans seemingly endless abyss. He lifted up his leg as he began walking. He was determined to find away out of this situation..no matter how obscure it was at the moment. As his right foot hit the platform, a single dove flew up from the ground. As it left the ground, the dark abyss was replaced with a radiant green light. As if following the doves lead, a large amount of doves rose from the dephts of the abyss and flew in a spiraling formation into the air. Fuzei put one hand in front of his eyes to shield them from the luminescent light that flourished from the revealed platform that he stood on. This must have been what he had been standing on the entire time.
Along with the light that illuminated from the stain glass platform, a unique image was revealed. A boy with spiky, chocolate brown hair appeared, surrounded by other mysterious figures. "Who's that..?" He thought to himself before bizarre, yet awe-inspiring door appeared on the edge of the platform. He rotated his head to face the door, which glowed with the same light that radiated from the glass platform he stood upon.
"Don't be afraid..."A voice echoed in his mind. Why didn't he ask who it was? Not even he could answer that. As if the voice had eased any fear he had hidden in his subconscious, his body had already begun to move towards the door. He slid his fingers through the door's handles, one on each side of the door and pulled back on them. As the door slowly crept open, a blinding light seeped through, causing Fuzei to have to shield his eyes. Even so, with no regrets and no prior thought, he slowly began to walk through. The warm light hitting his skin and granting him a sense of calmness and tranquility, he felt the fear in his body wisped away.
His journey had finally begun.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Sorry if the RP Sample was cut too short xD My character may not be as strong as other characters, but I hope I can RP his full potential here.
