In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Skylar just stood there continuing to stare his cold, angry and defiant stare right at the White Witch as Axel quickly started to apologize for him. Skylar was a little confused to why he would even be doing so. "Does he fear her or maybe there's something about her he didn't tell me about. What do you know that I don't?" Thought Skylar was Axel continued to speak. When Axel got to the part where he mentions Skylar's previous experiences with the heartless, he thought Axel was revealing more than he had too. Telling her that he wasn't from around here was fine but he didn't have to say how he got here. If anything, Skylar figured trouble was about to start soon considering that he glanced over to Axel to see him in a ready position as if about to be locked in an inescapable conflict. Skylar turned back towards the witch after Axel was done talking continuing to stare angrily at her.
Skylar could tell his words angered her greatly, this was to be expected. After all he didn't handle the situation as well as he wanted to. He would have preferred to talk this out calmly but anger just got the better of him and he didn't like to keep his anger locked inside for very long. When the wolves started to walked closer toward him he couldn't help but noticed the witch produce a breeze of cold winter air in his direction. Skylar just stood his ground continuing to keep his eyes on her and her wolves that were still approaching fangs clearly visible. "Aw the flee ridden mutts want to play hard ball. They can try." Skylar thought as the witch started to speak.
When the witch spoke her first two sentences, Skylar just took it as an empty threat and merely chuckled with a small grin on his face. What he wouldn't give to just scream out "I'm begging for it! Who's going to give it to me!?" but he kept his mouth shut instead, satisfied with what he said earlier. He didn't need to make this situation more hazardous than it already is. He figured she would be more powerful then him but didn't really care much for there difference's in power.
When she continued to speak, Skylar kept on listening to what she had to say very carefully. She did in fact make some good point, without her there would be a lot more heartless running around. That Skylar could handle but what he probably couldn't handle were the big ones like last time. Skylar was brave and yes a bit foolish but brain dead wasn't one of them.
After she was finished speaking it was clear there wasn't going to be a fight tonight, unless Skylar decided to start something again but that wasn't the case this time. It seemed she is willing to make a pact with them considering she mentioned us as allies, and she mentioned a ride off this world. Skylar's defiant stare quickly diminished and he began contemplating, turning his head down and to the side slightly and slid his left hand into his left coat pocket.
After a minute or so Skylar finally spoke. "It's true you have definitely reduced the heartless population but I am no idiot. I know all to well what the heartless can do. I've fought a really big one shortly before I turned up here." Skylar no longer cared how much she new about him at this point in time. If she could get him out of here, and away from her, the better off he will be. "Besides" Skylar continued. "I've been taught by some very wise teachers that its better to be one part brave three parts fool cause if you just sit there and think about every little situation, what is going to get done? Its sometimes better to ask for forgiveness rather than for permission. You also mention an alliance, but you lack our names. Well I can't speak for Shark here but I will offer my name. You may call me Skylar and what may I call you? Or would you rather just be called by your title the White Witch?"
Then, slowly, tension and adrenaline started fading. The situation was going under control. Axel almost sighed in relief, but contained himself. He was pretty sure that everything was going to end well - the White Witch was prideful and egolatric, sure, but she was also a cunning person and, apparently, not completly evil. After all, if she was evil, she would have embraced the Heartless, not faced them.
The Shark noticed, however, that Skylar was still furious about the whole thing. He had already noticed the boy's impulsiviness, and was not surprised. Axel just hoped he wouldn't put everything to lose at this point - a harsh world or a agressive action would inevitably lead into a fight, and one that the hero wasn't sure they could win... or even survive. However, once again reliefed, he noticed that Skylar was able to control himself this time, now that he noticed the Witch's true personallity.
Anyways, the Shark decided to keep the respectful tone, as he knew it would make her feel well. He listened carefully for Skylar's and the Witch's answers, before adding his own:
"We recognize and are grateful for your work agains the Heartless threat. Even tough we and Skylar probabbly would be able to deal with some bigger ones, we are grateful we don't have too, as it makes our jobs easier and the population remains safer. That's all I worry about, the people's lives. The heartless are pratically under control arround here, big part thanks to you. We are just like... gardeners, that remove the minor weed so the entire garden can flourish better. And we appreaciate your worry, but I assure you that we know where we are stepping. We won't be overconfident, that's a promise."
When the traveling situation was mentioned, however, Axel's heart skipped a beat. It was their chance. He couldn't let this one pass.
"I had the feeling that you would be able to give us some information on this, my lady, since you're wise and powerful. I understand you're probabbly not... pretty happy with my hard-headed friend, but I must appeal for your kindness. We really need a way to travel to his homeworld and discover if anything happened there. The poor boy thinks his world is destroyed right now, and that's why he's so confused and angry. All this heartless thing is just too strange for him. So, I kindly ask you, could you share some knowledge with us? Would you really be able to lead us to Twillight Town, or at least put us on the right track, please? Any information is useful, really." Axel doubted that it would work, specially after Skylar offended her... But he had to try. If she could at least guarantee if Twillight Town was still in one piece or not, it would already be a great help to the boy's quest.
Her eyes narrowed at Skylar; he urged her to just smack the drollness out of him for he can gain at least an ounce of wisdom. If there was ONE ABSOLUTE thing she HATED about children is how they simplified everything. They do not see beyond the tip of their nose; their youth gave them the curse of vitality making it harder to realize how dangerous is danger. How many of them prance with the fantasy of living a long life of longevity and only to leave this plane of old age? That was far beyond the truth of reality. Many die and loose their hearts at a variety of ages; many disappear and never heard from again, while introduced to enough horrors to scar them forever.
Her Antique had to place in frozen sleep; her Mikhail was trapped in mourning for her lost as well as loosing Max. From there he had to carry the entirety of the Guardians of the Worlds on his shoulders without a complete solution to save the worlds but the urge to do something, to act. How many apprentices, his comrades, had they both lost? Dragno, Caxbib, Max, Antique, Xavier, her knight; Rellen, and Sir Lucas...were all lost to oblivion. It wouldn't surprise her if she missed a few names; regardless that was more than enough for her taste.
Actually Jadis could hardly figure out, in the moment, which was more dissatisfying: the people she lost, how remarkable an imbecile Skylar was, or how insulting such infidel even thought to see her as an alliance when his brain wasn't up to par.
"Then I must sadly note that your teachers were in fact idoits. I doubt persay your teachers are oh so consciously aware the turmoil the world is in to even advice such simple-minded notion. So I shall bestow another favor; fools die as fools; the wise live to see another day. Fools bite off more than they can chew, and end up regretting in the amor of the high of 'standing up and being a fighting figure'. At the end of the day, the fool doesn't lasts; it's just one person down amongst others, one less of a fighting chance, and another memory and detail. If all were fools, there wouldn't be survivors. Only luck resides with fools, and it's foolish to depend on it."
Her eyes were narrowed taking it very personally that he would waste her time with abomination ideas. It was enough to make her spit, because she knew enough people who could be labeled a fool, and she lost them all. So praising it was a mockery and infuriating, "You now received two lessons already. In that case you're in debt unless you want to be The Fool and rebuke words of a sage. Also to inform you, you've hardly seen how problematic they are; from what I've heard you only touched the juveniles, and regardless if you had sparred a big one, you obviously didn't fair well. You're here...not at home; you're here and how no idea if your world is still standing. I've yet to see this 'better' of this 3:1 foolish brave ratio unless you're counting me a...blessing in disguise."
She turned on her heels retreating from the ally not wishing to linger anymore. The wolves padded after her before giving the boys a huff. The Ice Witch didn't give them a glance assuming they would follow her, since she now had a key they wanted.
"I don't know whether to be complimented or insulted at your assumptions that I would be bitter to childish squabbles," her voice peaked up, "I care not how hard-headed your friend is because the unbalance of the universe would rid those who doesn't learn and evolve. Harsh it may be, but unfortunately it where the worlds stand, dog eat dog. My kindness has already been displayed numerous of time; if I was a bitter woman, you're friend would be rubble by now."
She entered the lower floor of the Second District where a fountain was covered in snow, the water frozen. Walking to the center, she stopped before raising a hand, "I do have ways...to move about..."
From her palm of disk of darkness expanded to an oval, "Lesson number 3. This is a mere portal to the Realm of Darkness, and I'm sure you can conclude my hesitation. I cannot lead you to Twilight Town, because I don't know it, and if I were to leave this world...who knows what would return to ravage it. I doubt you boys are that in-tune with the news and on-goings here," if they did they would've know Humanoid Heartless exist, and how they were more devious and hazardous than a large bundle of darkness. Those bloody things can think and calculate, and anything with a mind of its own is naturally dangerous. One of them visited here demanding in a polite request for the witch to turn over the world to them.
Before they could get any ideas, she sealed the hole up, "yes a Foolish person can roam through there, but would he know how to get out before the heartless feeds. After all you'll be in their dwellings. If you lack control or resistance of darkness who knows which will get to you first, the realm of the heartless."
Axel continued to suck up to the witch in hopes of getting her to help them but Skylar was still unsure he even wanted her help. Sure she could provide a motive of transportation, but she hasn't been all to friendly either. The whole time Axel talked, Skylar clearly had an annoyed look on his face. Skylar hated that he had to suck up to a person such as her and he was doing all he could to try and hide it. From the look of the witch she wasn't looking to happy either. She must hate this just as much as he did.
When Axel was finished speaking it didn't take long after the witch replied for Skylar to start tensing up. "You of all people have the nerve to call my teachers idiots!! DAMMIT!!!!!" Skylar screamed in his head. Clearly once Skylar is done with this little endeavor he was going to make her regret those words someday.
The witch continued on to speak of Skylar, or maybe both of them it was hard to tell, and how foolish they are and even started displaying a win loss ratio on how much of a fool he or they were being and how wise they are being. From the look on Skylar's face it doesn't look like he can take much more of this.
When the witch started to walk off towards the fountain, Skylar reluctantly followed taking in every word the witch was saying. "Keep on talking... You will get whats coming to you sooner or later." Skylar kept telling himself doing whatever he could to hold himself back and then she stopped.
The witch had some dark energies forming in her hand and soon it produced a portal. "What the.... How she do that? Wait... She used the power of Darkness. Doesn't that mean she's bad guy?" Skylar wondered about those questions for a few seconds then decided. "She was nice enough to open it so why not take it." He though as he got into position but as soon as he got ready she closed it. "DAMMIT!! What is it going to take to reason with her!" He thought, clearly not paying any attention to what the witch was saying at all. Axel better do something, anything and soon cause from the look on Skylar's face he was ready to go nuts. He might even resort to assault.
The Shark listened and paid attention to everything. He measured her tone, her words and her actions. He noticed that his words didn't make any good effect - actually, she seemed to grow angrier. But, however, he could notice that something was annoying her. HEr eyes, body language suggested it. Axel reflected on this for a moment, and then it came - she was worried, with something. She had the same appearance as John Pristis, the head of the Pristis Foundation: that look of someone who's carrying the world on it's back. And, now that he tought about it, it was pretty much this.
Axel followed her, side-to-side with Skylar, when she wandered off while talking. Finally, they arrived at the fountain. Axel listened to the scold the White Witch was giving them without any reaction, he just listened. He only got worried when she insulted Skylar's teacher. Axel quickly looked at the boy, to see his angry, revolted face. For a moment, he feared the worst and, just to be safe, he place his arm in front of Skylar, stopping him in case he tried to advance. Luckly, he didn't, or that would have condenmed them.
Then, finally, she showed them the Corridoor of Darkness. Axel payed more attenttion than never, fully ignoring Skylar now. He needed these kind of info - the Pristis Foundation knew a lot, but not everything. So, he listened and watched, as she explained the effects that the Corridoor of Darkness could have on a wanderer who stumbled upon them. The hero sighed. Those portals looked a lot like the traveling mean of the Heartless themselves. Pristis already teorized that no human could enter those portals without consequences, but now they had proof. Axel was reliefed that he and Skylar didn't followed that idea of capturing a heartless and using it as a transportation device. What would have happened if they did? Maybe the Witch was right. Maybe they were fools.
However, things were getting dangerous. The Witch was angrier than before, and Axel started to think that, maybe, it was a good idea to stop things right now. Skylar also looked pissed. It was better to retreat before things got worse.
However, Shark couldn't stop to think one thing... he took pity on the Witch. She was under heavy responsabillities and, maybe, they were getting the best out of her. So, he started to talk:
"I understand and respect your opinion. Once again, I thank you for warning us and, above else, for the knowledge you shared. We now have a bit more of information about the Heartless and that is always welcome. However, as I said, we know where we are stepping, and we won't be fools. We will live to see another day and fight another fight, you'll see. Now, I'm sorry for taking your time. We'll be going now. Let's go, Skylar, we have more patrolling to do, the night is a child." He said, signaling Skylar to follow him and giving his back to the Witch. However, after he gave three steps, he stopped. He started to talk again, but without turning arround and looking the Witch on her eyes. "Also, don't push yourself. You don't have to do all this alone. I understand the weight you carry... but every war requires soldiers. If you ever find yourself in need of someone to fight the battles, don't forget this soldier here. Have a good night." Before, the Shark was trying to get on the Queen's good side to calm her down - or, as would Skylar say, he was "sucking up to her". However, this wasn't the case now. Jadis could sense that Axel was being totally honest on that one. He, indeed, took pity on her.
Then, he left, hoping that Skylar would follow him.
"One moment," she held a finger, "you've acquired multiple lessons from me in one dark day, and naturally knowledge these days are not cheap. If you ever leave this place with safer routes, be sure to return if you have any findings of the Heartless moving. They've been busy; the skies can tell you that, and I foresee that they will come back here and try again, tipping the scales and reclaim the shadows here. If the worlds were to be rid of these Heartless, well more communication is required."
With that she walked past them towards the Third District to return to Charn; for a moment she slowed to a halt and glanced back, "I would advice to find better company, but maybe your leveled head can balance out his. I doubt you'd want to loose him...so early"
Tossing her hair back, the giantess left them in the bitter cold, while her wolves padded after her. Cool green eyes looked down at one of the canines holding a silent conversation. He thought she was pushing herself? That was hardly the case, and with Jadis being a proud individual, she didn't like the taste that left in her mouth. Still she had previously detested how unconcerned the denizens were here. When Heartless were here they either scream, ran, squabbled, or flailed at them; some done it with hate in their heart and need to survive, while others saw it as a sport. When the winter came and the heartless were less, all she had were complainers. From time to time she wondered why she cared for a spat of world that wasn't her own.
Where is that boy now...
She wondered if she'd recently lost one of her apprentices. Did he too lost favor in her because of the cold?
Surely the children like Skylar won't push her enough to be the ultimate educator. If they are so sure of themselves, perhaps darkness she come to display its muscles. Yet that would be a lesson ultimately too cruel. They wouldn't have stand a chance, but be sheep in slaughter houses with hearts to ravage.
As Axel began admiring her now, Skylar continued to stand there pissed off and swearing and cursing in his head about this whole situation. When Axel gave him a signal that they were leaving Skylar couldn't help but scream "Finally!" and began to dart off towards the stairs leading up towards the first district entrance. But of course, the witch had to get in a final word before leaving, and it caused Skylar to stumble when he was haft way up the stairs. "Great, what does she want now..." Skylar said in a low tone.
The witch went on to say that they owed her a debt for giving them several lessons tonight. "Lessons.... She can take her lessons and..." Skylar dropped his train of thought at that moment when he heard the witch suggesting to Axel that he should find better company to travel with.
That did it. "What was that!" Skylar roared as he started to walk back down the stairs. Not only did the witch pretty much tell them to report to her of any heartless movements, although Axel was pretty much offering his assistance, but she made it sound like they owed her, not to mention she once again insulted Skylar for his behavior. In truth, if she would have shown more respect to begin with, instead of feeding the fire, thinks would have gone more smoothly. The way Skylar saw it, each individual should treat others the way they would want to be treated, sure Skylar may have started the whole thing but at least he tried to get things back in order... Somewhat. Axel better find a way to quickly shut Skylar up or he's going to start up again and give her a piece of his mind. No doubt that this would end very badly if Skylar is to have his way.
The Shark listened the White Witch's final words. She said her words in a tone of "you owe me for not killing you both". Axel, however, was already used to the Witch's way, so it didn't bothered him. He knew how to talk to "higher-ups".
"Don't worry, I will. My mission is to fight the Heartless whenever they are, but Traverse Town is my hometown. It will only fall under my corpse. If what you say is true - and I don't see reason that you'd lie, so I guess it is true, those are troubling news. I'll let my eyes open. If I see anything strange when I get out of here, or when I'm arround here, I'll come to you. And I'll stress my warning. If you ever need a soldier, don't forget me. I'll do wathever it takes to protect this town. See you arround, my Lady." Then, he kept walking, with Skylar at his side. He heard the Witch saying something about Skylar, and, since Skylar stopped to listen, so he did. Her words were harsh, but Axel couldn't help but feel good. He was called "leveled head". It was a small compliment but, from someone as stubborn as the White Queen, it meant a lot, and Axel was flattered.
But Skylar wasn't happy. Shark-senses tingling, danger approaching. Skylar started to walk towards the Witch, angry, shouting. He decided to do something before things got bad. With a simple move, he grabbed Skylar by the collar, but from his back, so he wouldn't easily react. He pulled him by the collar, probabbly making him fall, as well as slightly strangling him. When he fell, he would let go of the collar. With luck, the White Witch wouldn't hear his screams earlier, since she was already going away, ans Shark stopped him mid-sentence, before things got worse. Axel would just hope that she didn't listen - or didn't care.
"Are you crazy? Are you trying to kill us all?" Scolded Axel, helping him to get up. He was talking low, fearing the Witch might hear them "Don't you see our place? We're mere pawns in the big leagues. Pawns are made to be discarded, so don't get our lifes MORE complicated, dammit. We're luckly we survived and kinda got on her good side, don't ruin everything!" He said, pulling Skylar away, trying to get him out of the Second District - and of general danger.

Last Edit: Sept 25, 2012 16:35:53 GMT -4 by skylar
As Skylar was about to give the witch another piece of his mind, Axel grabbed Skylar's collar causing Skylar to choke then his shirt got caught on his neck and stumbled backwards repeatedly until Skylar finally fell to the ground. After being gagged so suddenly, Skylar was feeling a little light headed and decided to lay there for a few seconds while he gets his barrings back. It didn't seem like the witch witch heard anything of what was going on considering she hasn't come back.
After a few seconds passed, Skylar finally said "What was that for! She was right where I wanted her!" After Axel lectured Skylar of the situation and where we stand, Skylar just slowly got back to his feet and turned away from Axel and began walked towards the First District while saying. "I am no ones pawn. I am not just a weapon to be used and to be thrown away when broken. I took my first step of this journey wondering what I could do to make a difference... Not once did I think I would be someones pawn!" Skylar stopped just short of the door and opened it slightly.
Skylar began thinking about his life, what he did, where he stands, what he should do. "My whole life I've been alone other than my parents. I would move from place to place so often I wouldn't have time to make any real friends. Maybe that's how I must continue this journey.... Alone." Said Skylar as he walked thought the door to the First District. Maybe all Skylar needs is to be a few minus alone or is he seriously considering continuing this journey alone. Perhaps Axel should leave him alone for a while unless he knows a way to settle Skylar's mind on the subject.
"She wasn't were you wanted, Skylar, YOU were. Don't you see? Even combined we are no match for the Witch. She was just too powerful, and would kill us both. I don't know about you, but I don't want to die yet!" Axel followed Skylar on the path to the First District, staying one or two steps behind in case Skylar lost his mind and decided to attack Axel. The hero doubted, but it was always a possibility. He listened as Skylar continued to speak. Finally, after a moment, he replied, serious: "I'm not saying we need to be pawns, but we need to step low and watch out near the Witch. She is egocentric, merciless, cold-hearted and powerful. A BAD combination, specially when she collides head-on with someone hot-headed like you. You were two stupids throwing insults to each other. The difference is that she did it better, and could torn you apart if she tired of that. We will make a difference, boy, in our way. I said what I needed to control her. The Witch and me share a common goal, the destruction of the Heartless, and if I need to play pawn to get on her good side, I will. She's a powerful ally on my mission. But you're more than that. You're my friend.
Then, Skylar started talking about journeying alone. Axel sighed and ended Shark Mode. He shined for a moment and, then, was back to his normal self, as he crossed the doors to the First District. He kept following Skylar, one or two steps back, silent, in order to let him think for a while. When they finished going down the stairs on the first district, Axel accelerated to keep up with him, then touched him on the shoulder and stoped walking, in order to call his attention.
"Come on, Skylar. We're friends. We did great partners down there. I was ready to take the Witch on if she seriously tought about hurting you, and we did great against the Heartless. Also, I still want to take you back to Twillight Town. Sorry if I hurted you back there, but the situation was urgent. We will make a difference in our own way, I promise. We're on the front lines in this whole battle against the heartless. We are going to be heroes!" He said, smiling. "Seriously, let's go back home. Let's put all this stupidity behind and get ready for the next day. We still have tons of heartless-butt to kick until we find a way to go back to Twillight Town. What do you say? Axel offered his hand to a handshake, and waited for Skylar's answer, smiling. HE did what he could. Now it was on his friend's hands.
After Skylar entered they First District, he continued to walked slowly down to the town entrance deep in thought. What would be the best thing to do? What should he do? Stay with Axel or go his own way? His head was telling him to just leave and go his own path, but his heart was telling him he should stay. "What should I do? What way is the right way? Even if I went on my own... I wouldn't even begin to know where to go." Skylar pondered.
When Axel put his hand on Skylar's shoulder in order to stop him and try to convince him that they shouldn't go there own ways, Skylar just stood there listening while staring a the ground facing away from Axel. After Axel said his peace, Skylar walked a few more steps towards the cafe. Skylar couldn't help but remember when they first meet earlier that night. He remembered how he felt when he first met him, how paranoid and confused he was after just ending up in this world. Suddenly his head finally clicked to what his heart was trying to say to him. "I guess if I were to go on my own I would be no better off then I was then and its not like anyone else has really put this much effort to even get to know me. Maybe this is for the best." Skylar concluded.
"I have two conditions if I stay." Said Skylar. "One, if we run into that witch again. Consider me gone from the area, I will not deal with her again unless its involves kicked her sorry butt. And two." Skylar paused for dramatic affect. "You let me give you a few lessons on how to fight cause may if it wasn't for your magic you would have been in trouble back there." Skylar said turning around and giving Axel a big smirk. "Think you can handle that?"
Axel just waited as Skylar tought about what to do. The boy was anxious. He really wanted Skylar to stay with him. He wanted to help Skylar, for real. He couldn't fix all problems on the universe, but he was surely going to fix every one he stumbled upon. Also, Axel was developing a bond with Skylar, as was really liking the boy's company.
Finally, Skylar started to talk, so out of nowhere that took Axel by surprise. He quickly started paying attention to Skylar's words. When he said he had conditions, Axel merely nodded with the head for him to carry on. Skylar voiced the first condition. Axel chuckled. "Please, do it. Unless someday I find myself in need to kick her ass. Then you'll be first-in-line" Said the Hero. He then stopped, to listen to Skylar's second condition. This time, he laughed out, and gave Skylar a jokingly smile. "Oh yeah, Karate Kid? You think that just because you where bouncing arround like a drunk monkey you did better than me, huh? I just didn't want to impress you too much, boy. But all right, I was going to ask you that anyways. I felt like some new moves on my arsenal would be pretty sweet." Finally, he smirked again at the final question. "Can YOU handle having me as a pupil? Well, fine, but don't expect-me to call you "Master Miagi" any soon. And I'll have to lecture you about the heartless too. You were lucky that those ones were just too stupid and too weak, or one blow and BAM, lost your heart. There are tons of different types, each one with it's own moves, skills and weakness. You're going to learn that if you want to stay alive in this." He, then, smiled, and signaled Skylar to come. "Let's go, it almost morning and I need some sleep. I bet you do too. House is warm and..." That was when Axel noticed he was without his coat. The cold made immediate effect. "Oh crap let's go!"
On the way, Axel looked at something strange. A big, shining crystal in the middle of the central plaza of First District. That made Axel raise and eyebrown. "I never saw that..." Axel tought to himself. Well, wathever, would have to check on that another day.
He kept going to his house, hopingly being followed by Skylar.
OFF: I'll leave to you to finish the thread, buddy. It's time to close this XD
"Master Miyagi!" Skylar laughed. "Hmm now that you mention it, it does have a ring to it." Skylar joked. As Axel continued to speak about instructed Skylar about the heartless, Skylar pondered for a moment on the subject. "Hmm I guess it would be better to know more about what I'm going to be fighting. It's as the old saying goes. "Know thy enemy"."
When Axel mentioned it was almost morning, Skylar looked at the horizon and saw that the sun was beginning to rise. "Damn, didn't realize it was so early. Alright back to your place it is." Skylar said while starting to make his way towards the apartment. Once Skylar took a few before realizing that Axel wasn't following and turned to see what he was doing. He seemed like he noticed something odd. Skylar looked around to see what he was looking at and saw it, a crystal like object just laying there on the ground. Skylar walked up to examine it more closely. "What could this be?" Thought Skylar. Once Axel started walking away Skylar quickly dashed to catch up to Axel.
On there way back to the apartment Skylar couldn't help but wonder about everything that has happened in the past 24 hours.
