In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Kim walked slowly around the snowy land, she had no Idea where she was or what happened. Slowly Kim tried to recollect her thoughts, Last thing I remember I was getting my diploma when…
What happened next? Kim was very confused by this situation, as well as struggling with trying to remember how she ended up here. This whole situation seemed very odd in Kim’s eyes; she’s in her school one moment then the next in a snow covered landscape?
What happened… Kim, stopped for a moment trying to focus solely on the past. I got my diploma th- those creatures! They came and consumed the auditorium! With… darkness? How was that possible? All of this thinking made Kim’s head hurt, she’s always been more of a Kinesthetic learner and never one for big brain teasers and such. Kim thought that perhaps Wade could shed some light on the situation, pulling out her Kimmunicator Kim dialed in Wade’s IP address before hitting the call button.
Unable to connect… Kim suddenly grew worried, maybe those creatures had gotten to him, or her family. Or Ron. Kim suddenly felt extremely selfish, after all she when they came who did she look for her family, (The outrank Ron of course) but she had checked in with Wade and not Ron, after all Ron was her boyfriend and Wade was not. This internal conflict battled on within Kim for quite sometime, until she eventually deemed it useless to dwell in the past and set her sights on the current situation on hand.
I need to find a way back home and away from here, though it might help to know where I am first. Kim decided that she would need to find a civilian to ask about where she was and how to get home. It was up to Kim to find everyone, even if it meant searching this frozen wasteland. [/blockquote]

And there he was. A boy, red hair, walking arround the frozen First District of Traverse Town. The boy was carrying a bag with some goods - normal things like fruits, meat... things to survive. Yes, the boy went to food-shopping. Even heroes have to eat.
Finally, he was walking arround the district when he saw a strange vision. A girl, clearly lost. Axel sighed. It was pretty obvious what was going on. Probabbly a survivor of a destroyed world. Poor thing... Axel had to deal with tons of these when growing up, and was quite used to comfort them. So, se approached the girl. Of course, the fact that she was beautiful helped the boy to have one more reason to go talk to her...
"Hey...", he said, getting close but without invading her personal space. He approached slowly, to show he wasn't a threat. "You look lost. Can I help you someway? I'm from these parts, you know.

(My original draft ended so differently than this. But I had to change it because SURPRISE SHARK! D: )
Malakai was starting to like this world less and less… and less…
The Heartless and the Town’s less savory residents were trouble enough, but when the weather changed so suddenly – the cool night giving way to frozen waste – he knew that something was wrong. He couldn’t place his thumb on just what it was. Something evil, something sinister. But he knew that something in that world had changed, for the worst. And that he had to get out of there. Soon.
As he pulled the hood of his coat up over his head he stared disapprovingly at the snow that fell, silently thanking the stranger, that odd mouse in black, for giving him the way to escape.
The bell around his neck chimed ever so slightly with each step he took, the snow on the ground rising in a small gyre around him as he used his geomantic powers to clear a path for himself. He was in no mood for wet feet and frosted toes, and if things worked out with an acquaintance he would need not concern himself about those anymore. In a few days’ time he would be leaving, thus why he was out in such weather tonight.
He had just stepped out of one of the smaller supply shops, bag tucked in the crook of his arm, stocking up on potions and nonperishable foodstuffs and the like. And he was on his way home when he spotted her: a girl, not at all dressed warm enough for such frigid weather, and looking so utterly confused… and lost. The sight of her made him frown.
Yet another wayward child, Malakai thought sullenly to himself, who lost her world to the Darkness, or the Heartless, or whatever maliciousness it was that consumed homes and devoured hearts. …Just standing out in the cold. Best get her inside, help her out a bit. That was the right thing to do.
He took but one step towards her before he stopped. A boy had appeared – he didn’t see him in the falling snow, and was approaching her, talking to her. Beat him to his own game. Very well. He can handle this. Yet Malakai lingered, and watched them quietly, watching for Heartless, just in case. It was not safe for children to be out, with the Heartless rampant and this unnatural snow falling.
Awkwardly he stood there and observed, snow swirling around him, twirling in harmony with the chiming of his bell.
Lost… Oh boy, Kim always tried to seem the most on guard she could be never trying to look like she had no clue what to do. As Kim turned to get a good look at the boy she took in his appearance he had intense fire red hair, with subtle brown eyes that seemed to compliment the structure of his face. When Kim took further notice of the boy she noticed him to be wearing open black jacket, with a baggy blue t-shirt hanging over his pair of black pants. This boy struck Kim as very average and reminding him with some resemblance to some of the more popular preppy boys at her school.
As Kim realized that she was still in a conversation with a boy, she suddenly snapped back into reality, “No, I’m fine. Just need to get back to my town, I need to get a signal and I’m on my way.” She told him not wanting to give in to admitting needing help, Kims always been somewhat hardheaded when it comes to asking for help from another. Kim would much rather prefer just to find a place where she can pick up a signal then contact Wade, as Kim began to think about a possible place she could hook up to a wireless network, she was interrupted by the ever so slight jingle of a bell and a small squish of snow under feet.
With Kim’s fast reflexes she spun around and dashed over the man, about to interrogate him for eavesdropping when something caught her attention. She let her mouth a gape when she saw it, though she was quick to cover it. His face was scared on multiple different areas and types of scars, such as three parallel ones running across the lower end of his nose, and a large burn scar that was sticking out from under a long mass of his messy pale red-brown hair. Kim looked away not wanting to stare, her mother had taught her better, but still Kim wasn’t going to back down from a fight.
“Why are you eavesdropping on us!?” Kim declared loudly.

The girl was stubborn, that was for sure. Axel stood there, listening her answer while analyzing her. He was not the best at this, however - for him, she just looked like any average girl.
It was when she said about 'coming back to her Town'. Axel smiled, in a sad manner. She was, indeed, another victim.
"There aren't other towns arround here. This is the only city in the planet. Let's see, how I can put it..." Axel always hated to do this, tough he couldn't help himself. However, it was never easy to tell those people that they weren't at their worlds anymore and, probabbly, never would be again.
As Axel was trying to formulate an answer, he noticed Kim's reaction to the stranger's approach. The girl's move was swift and agile, her reflexes were better than those of an average person. Maybe she was an athlete?
However, the girl looked a lot angry, so, he decided to stay out of that and just listen to what the stranger had to say. He higly doubted it was a menace - probabbly just a bypasser.
Or so he hoped, because he was without the Sharkblade at that moment...
The girl’s sudden movement and speed startled him, and Malakai nearly dropped his bag as he took a step back, legs spreading for balance and free hand flying out to his side to call forth the snows should he need to defend himself. She never attacked.
She did, however, took one look at his marred face, gaped, then looked away. The series of motions brought a slight frown to his face. He sometimes forgot how grisly he looked to totally strangers. Certain she was no threat, Malakai eased up his stance, shoulder slacking slightly, reaffirming his grip on his goods. He regarded her with a calm eye, as he listened to her speak.
“I apologize if that’s what it looked like,” he said softly, looking from her, to the boy, and back, “I swear, my intention was not to eavesdrop on the two of you… Rather I was wondering why youths such as yourselves were out at this time, in this weather.” His eyes darted up to the falling snows. “It’s unnatural, you know? It never snowed here before, yet now it does. It feels almost sinister.” He looked back to her. “All the more reason to not be outside. There is evil at work here, and Heartless afoot.”
Kim’s head began to spin at all the different types of words the man was spitting out at her. What was all this talk of snow and sinister? Another main thing Kim noticed about the man as he spoke was his higher intellect level through the communication he was giving her. Ever since Kim had started missions she had learned to develop many skills of evaluation of another just based on their appearance and quirks they may have.
A predominate thing she noticed about this man was his appearance he was scared and bruised, though he had a regal outfit upon him, one not so fitting of the story his appearance appeared to be telling. Perhaps he had a fateful encounter with fire, though not majorly changed inside or undergoing any personality changing life lessons, just simply moving on with life.
Though the man did say something that caught Kim a bit off guard, a word he had used earlier, Heartless. This word appeared to be dark, and obviously not kind if it were named as not having a heart. Maybe it was a person around these parts? Or some animal species that lived here that could be dangerous if provoked. Whatever it may be Kim was confused and not giving up until she got answers. “What do you mean Heartless? And the weather hasn’t always been like this?”

"Don't worry, it's all right." Said Axel, trying to calm the newcomer. He looked like a polite and decent person, and, after all, that was a public place. He wasn't doing anything bad. He seemed like someone experienced and powerful, or so Axel's instincts were saying him - and he was quite good at this. It was a contrast to the abruptly of the girl.
"Don't worry, no harm is done. After all, anyone can take a stroll arround here. I'm Axel, nice to meet you. I've lived in this place for my whole life..." He said, looking at the falling snow. When Malakai touched in the weather subject, he smiled. "Don' even mention it. It's the price for peace, I guess, but I'm frozen to my bones." It was then that he mentioned the Heartless. Axel was surprised. That wasn't common knowledge. Who was that man?
It was then that Kim took the word back, asking about the Heartless and the weather. Axel could have answered them, but he didn't for two main reasons. Number one, it would be rude - she asked directly to the newcomer. Second and more important, he wanted to know how deep was Malakai's knowledge. Maybe that mysterious man would even tell him something new, who knows? All info is useful for the Pristis Institute and it was Axel's job to gather intel. So, he didn't interfered, just waited ans listened for Malakai's answer.
Again, Malakai’s eyes jumped between the two youths. Eventually he let his gaze linger on the girl. Out of the two of them, he suspected, she must’ve been a new arrival… After a few days of being in Traverse Town, one knew very well what the Heartless were.
He felt a pang of remorse for her. Surely she must have lost her home to the shadowy fiends. To know nothing of them, to have ended up here. He wondered if she was aware of the situation she was in now. A slight frown creased his lips.
“Heartless. They are shadows come alive. Creature Darkness,” he answered her, momentarily looking over his shoulder to see if any had materialized when he uttered their name. “They come in a variety of forms, but in the end they all share similar traits: dark of shape with eyes that gleam like cinders. Though I have yet to see it for myself... it is said they devour both Hearts and Worlds alike.” He bowed his head then, remembering his first dealing with the Heartless. “…And when they consume a World, it’s survivors end up here. As for the snow…” He turned back to the sky, and practically glared at the falling flakes. “No. It has not always been like this. People who have been here longer can tell you: this snowfall, it is new. Because, they say, of the castle that was raised on the outskirts of town. When that was built, this weather soon followed. Creeping shadows and changing weather… I do not like this place one bit.”
Kim crossed over to the other boy, what was his name again? Kim wasn't in the mood to think right now, this day just seemed to be one horrible downward spiral. She has no idea where in the world her family, Ron, Rufus, or Wade was, heck she didn't know where anyone was as a matter of fact! Another proofing factor in this horrible day was that she was stranded in a frozen wasteland with one scar covered man and a young boy who quickly reminded Kim of her two younger brothers, extremely annoying though she loved them none the less. She let out a sigh with everything that was going on and prepared to listen to what the odd duo would say to her.
After Axel presented a brief introduction Kim felt somewhat relived due to her being off the hook from the question of asking him his name. Surely he wouldn’t like that question, after all he had come to help her and she thanked him by a cold shoulder and dismissing of the memory of his name, not the most polite thing in the world. Kim made a mental note to remember to thank him when a chance would arise in the conversation, hopefully soon enough before the note would slip her eyes once more. Then there was the pressing matter of the other man, he had been somewhat rude to Kim and Axel, not even bothering to share his name with the two. Though he did have some sort of odd air about him, perhaps even a darkening tone to him, this frightened Kim a bit though she brushed it off due to his knowledge clearly being the superior of Axels.
Then the mysterious man spoke once more about the dark shadows, known as Heartless. No… hearts? that was a frightening though to Kim, especially how it pounded into her reminding her about the one thing she tried to clear her mind off her love one could easily be dead. Kim then took in what the man had said about the snow, someone was controlling this? How is it possible to control the weather, better yet to just claim a town as your own and not have one bit of an army forming against them? Kim felt the need to help these poor people in the town; though she figured it best to know the man’s name first. ”I don’t believe I caught your name.”
Axel kept quiet, listening Malakai with attention. He took a second to look at Kim, and she seemed confused still, as well as a bit worried. Axel had see this before, it was actually a common scene for a lifetime Traverse Town habitant. So he kept quiet, listening to Malakai and trying to learn as much as he could. He would leave the conversation to Kim for now, tough he would have his own questions later.
(Off: Sorry for the derp post, but I REALLY don't have much to work here xD. I was going to post nothing, actually, but decided to do so. But i pretty much skipped my turn on that. I'll try to do better next)
