In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

-An established Hierarchy (If we don't have a Xemnas, we need someone taking the slack to get things done... even if there are 3 of us. And if Saix is gone... just get it to keep going down the line until SOMEONE is inventing stuff to get us propelled under our unified vision. Kingdom Hearts is getting so old it's decaying... xD And if Kingdom Hearts is no longer the route, we need to discuss a route to take.
-More applications. Once an established Hierarchy is set up, we can inform people applying for those characters of the character's responsibilities within the Organization.
-Some interaction. Maybe some fun. Yes, you heard me. Maybe they need scheduled chore threads just for some interaction? Maybe they need... I dunno. For instance, in some of the games, they held, say, friendly competition. "Do this for me and I'll give you something", etc. We could do some more stuff like that... and pretend like we all live in the same Castle sometimes. x3
...Dear God I just realized there is only three of us, well five: Xigbar, Axel, Demyx, Marluxia, and Larxene... that is unless Zeph dropped Xiggy because busy or Marly gone poofled on us again.
Hierarchy-wise I always kinda saw it like this for WD:
Xemnas - Leader. Nothing really more to that. He's alpha and omega of Organization XIII and nothing happens in it without him finding out somehow.
Saix - Acting secound-in-command. When Xemnas is pining after big ol' KH, Saix gets his commands, divvies them up amongst the ranks, and makes sure the damned slackers get then done. He has his own plans in the works, once upon a time with Axel, but those never were brought to light. (EXPLAIN, NOMURA. EXPLAIN.)
Xaldin - Third-in-command. He seems more like a drill sergeant than anything, from what I've seen in the games. When Saix is not around, he's making sure work gets done. He's not afraid to put someone to the blade to get them to get their duties done.
Xigbar - This one's ranking is an odd one. He's both Xemnas' closest, secret confidant because spoilers, yet at the same time he comes off similar to Demyx: laid back, not quite lazy, and a regular mook. When the higher three are unavailable he drops his laid back pretense and gets to business.
From here the authoritative ranks kinda stop.
Lexaeus, Zexion, Axel, Demyx, and Luxord - the mooks. They hold no real power in the Organization. They do the field work, the missions. Perhaps Lexaeus and Zexion once did, being founding members, but those days are long gone, they being sent as sheep to the slaughter in Castle Oblivion. Axel, once being Saix's BBF, may have a tiny bit more power than the others in this group, if only to try to sway Saix's will in his favor, but he's till best serving on the field... and kinda not trusted because team kill. Demyx and Luxord always were in this category, and I don't see that changing.
Vexen - The Organization's head science officer because SCIENCE! and chew toy. His intellect is about all he's good for, and sometimes even he can be an idiot and screw up. He's not very useful on missions aside from initial recon. He's weak, he's cowardly, he's proud, he has a temper, and quite frankly he's not well liked. He's a joke in the Organization he helped create. He likes to bark orders and thinks he's someone worth authority... but no one takes him seriously. He's kept low on the totem pole because quite frankly he'd cause problems if he was higher up.
Marluxia and Larxene - Dear god no one let these two out of their sight. Yes that's their rank. They are both members of the Organization and not. Their ambition and past treacheries have left their mark and they really can't be trusted not to be up to no good. Larxene ranks higher than Marluxia since plot-wise she came back willingly, and answers directly to Xaldin, but she's still suspect. Marluxia is still in time out... and gives them good reason to keep him there. He make's it no secret he still aspires to usurp Xemnas.
Roxas - Traitor. Last I read he has since left the Organization. Correct me if I'm wrong. He's operating outside the Organization and thus has no rank in its workings. Until someone drags him back or something... Then he'd share the Mar/Lar rank.
Looking at that as the hierarchy of the Organization, Xigbar would be the next ranking member, if Zeph is still playing him.
Otherwise that leaves the numbers leaning in Marluxia and Larxene's favor. With how we have the Organization filled out now they can very well make their move to seize power. Axel would be the only one to stand up to them, as Demyx would probably chicken out at the prospect of fighting Larxene.
And that's really all I can think of for hierarchy. /brainvomit
Now interactions sounds like a good idea. Days, for all its criticism, actually gave us insight into how they functioned in a close premise, unlike KHII that made them just look like mustache twirling villains that ran at Sora one by one to be killed. All we really had was Rising Storm, and that went huuuuuuurgh...
But yeah, we need to fill out our ranks... The Dark XII are gonna swarm us. xD
Just for confirmation, I don't plan to drop Xigbar. I've had a Departures thread up for a while for more details, and posted an estimated time of full-scale return. However, if I lose him during that time regardless, I'll reapply. :) As far as running the Org as second in command through Xig in the absence of Saix or Xaldin, I most definitely will not take that up at this time. At some point I may be able to help scour neighboring boards for potential literates to take him up once they settle in. (We could rope other WD members to help with that, too.)
Though, yes! Xig may be ranked high, but not in the authoritative sense. Sure, seniority rules in his case, but he is primarily the informant. Good at knowing what is going on and relaying that to whatever ears need to hear. And as Cade said, the confidant. Though I haven't had all her spoilers exactly yet.
Staying somewhat within character, some lower 'ranks' may have wiggle room due to what the RPers accomplish. The Dark XII runs similar to that.
Yep, Roxas is outta here. And making a move on the site plot, last thread I spotted Kuu in.
Thanks for bringing things up, Cade/Era. Just random interaction sounds great, gives us threads even when nothing big is going on. I'll be looking forward to that when I can be back here in full force.
I liked Days. It was repetitive, but I normally played it on trips, and the hop-in-whenever format worked that way for me.

*Noting random interaction* Also, noted, on all points, Cadey and Zephiris.
I guess what I'm looking for is some sort of forward momentum, whether that includes operations as they are now, or requires a little bit of a discussion and some creative in-character moments for a new route. Even if one person doesn't take up the mantle alone, some sort of canon momentum on the members' parts might be helpful.
