In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Glacio left wandering around the city, lost again. I really need to stop getting lost in this city. Actually now that I think about it, I am going to ask the next person I meet if they have a map I can borrow or possibly have, He thought to himself as he was walking again.
So, another couple minutes passed by and he realized that the scenery looked familiar, actually everything he passed looked familiar. This meant that one of two things has happened: One, he was possibly going in circles or Two, this entire city looked alike, which of the two, Glacio had yet to find out. So Glacio kept getting lost as he kept wandering the city.
"Hello, can anyone help me get out of here or at least un-lost?" Glacio yelled hoping someone would hear him and his pleads of not very important help.

Oliver walked the streets of this strange place with purpose. Though he hadn't a clue where anything was or where he should have been going, he wanted to appear as though he was. Was he being followed? Probably not. He wanted to make sure that no one suspected him as they realized the had a few less 'munny' than they'd had several minutes before.
As strange as this place, 'Radiant Garden,' so he was told, was, it reminded him of Bhujerba, his city of residence back in Ivalice. The tone of the town, as well as the architecture (vaguely, anyway) and the disposition of the people were all similar to those of Bhujerba. Also, the ease of pickpocketing here was so great that it was almost painful. Oliver didn't like it to be too easy, as he felt that it wouldn't be a worthy sport otherwise. However, at the moment all he had were a few gil which happened to be worthless here, so he was trying to build a small fortune today.
As he passed an elderly woman, he expertly and dexterously stuck his hand into her money pouch and pilfered a few pieces of the strange munny, barely even touching her as he did so. It was quick, in and out so that no one would notice, and he succeeded. He'd only almost gotten caught once today, and that was from a non-combative young man. He wasn't suspected, however; it was only because the man turned toward him that he was nearly foiled. He continued his hunt.
Oliver spotted a young man perhaps one or two years younger than he wandering, clearly lost. He was shorter than Oliver, though slightly bigger in terms of weight and presumably muscle. He wore plain clothing- common here though strange to Oliver- and his observations were confirmed when he yelled something about being lost here. Oliver smiled, glad to find something that was sure to be a challenge.
He walked toward the young man without changing his stride, and when he was next to him, hesitated only slightly as he positioned himself next to the young man. He reached into where he assumed the money would be, but found nothing. He quickly withdrew his hand, unhappy, though he panicked as the young man turned toward him in such a way that made it obvious that someone else's hand was in his pocket. Oliver removed his hand quickly and started to walk away, hoping that he wouldn't make the connection, though Oliver was clearly the only one close enough to have done it.
Glacio was walking along the outdoor alley, wondering to himself how he could have gotten lost so easily, but then again he was still new here.
He was wondering other things to himself, like what was he going to have for lunch or what kind of job he was going to try to find. Then, he thought for a second he heard another pair of footsteps, but decided it was nothing.
So a little while later Glacio was humming to himself some lullabies that he could remember so he would be calm, and not worried about being lost. He felt, or at least thought he felt, a hand in his pocket. That feeling vanished almost as quickly as it came.
After that he saw a guy around his age running, towards the end of the alley he was facing. "Hey, wait! Why are you running?"Glacio asked, then realizing he was the only one here besides the guy running away,"Hey,wait! I know why you're running! Get back here please." Glacio now running towards the man, slowly catching up to him.
Caught, Oliver slowed down and stopped. It may have been easier in the long run to fess up and claim responsibility, but he wasn't even sure the young man even knew what he'd been doing, exactly. Part of his training in Bhujerba had gone beyond simply taking money; he'd also learned to act convincingly and conceal his lies, at least to a point.
He faced the young man with an unsure smile on his face, as though confused about the confrontation. It was best to try to make a person doubt himself before doubting you. It worked surprisingly often; Oliver used it many times and got off freely even after being caught red-handed.
"Yes, yes you can help me," Glacio said," Can you please give back what ever you stole. I'm going to only ask politely once, and I know you did it because you are the only one who has been near me for the past hour or so." Glacio took a step towards the man. "I will use force if I have to, though that may or may not be effective, I will use it if needed." He held his hand out.
Oliver raised his hands and stepped back as though the young man had the plague or something. This was getting a little tense, but he had to remember to keep himself in check. If this guy had any training at all concerning acting and he slipped up just once, his charade would be done with.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't take anything." All of a sudden, Oliver realized that this whole ploy was done with. He knew; might as well establish himself for once. "Okay, listen here. Firstly, if you can't guard what's yours at all times, then you don't deserve it. That's just my belief. Second, if you think that you can really threaten me and get away with it, then you're sorely mistaken. Let go now, and there will be no problem. If you persist, then you'll regret it."
This guy was really confusing and aggravating Glacio at the same time. At one moment he was saying he didn't steal anything, the next he said he did but it was Glacio's fault for not guarding it. "Okay, first off I was not trying to threaten yo....wait, what are those things," Glacio said pointing at some fast moving objects coming towards the two people," Wait, are these things...Yeah those are the things that destroyed my home."
Oliver sighed. Clearly this young man's intelligence was not quite as high as his own, and he didn't have as much of a way with words. Part of him wanted to just walk away, and if the kid gave chase he could disappear quite easily. However, he didn't have to talk his way out of this kind of situation often, so it couldn't hurt to flex his speech muscle a bit.
He prepared to respond with a witty, "Actually, you did, and here's how..." when the boy pointed out something. He automatically assumed that he was trying to trick Oliver, but he seemed genuine. Oliver turned to look, and sure enough there were strange black creatures that Oliver also recognized.
"Oh, you too? Then I'm guessing you know how hard it is to fight them," Oliver said. Pulling out his Mithril Knife, he stood in a defensive fighting stance with the blade before him. He didn't excel at close-range combat with his knife- he was more of a hit-and-run kind of fighter- so he hoped that the other guy had a weapon or something to use on these guys.
Seeing the man ready his knife, Glacio knew he had a team mate for this battle. "Alright since it seems we are on the same team for now, Best of luck. Now it's time for me to bring out my sword," Glacio said as he looked at the man, and now finally readying himself for the ritual," Here I go....Oh great destroyer of Ice and Darkness, I call upon thee, to answer my request. I summon you....ICE BREAKER!" He finished chanting the ritual, and with a bright flash of light, his magnificent two-handed black, blue and red blade appeared, also coating him in his brilliant gold Schutz armor. With himself ready for battle he said to the man," Are you ready?" Then he took a step forward towards the charging enemies he now remembered were called heartless.
Oliver was confused when the other guy said he was going to bring out his sword, seeing no weapons on his person nor around. However, he performed a ritual and brought out an impressive blade and armor that made him think twice about trying to steal from him later. He nodded at the question, albeit unsurely as he suddenly felt under-dressed.
As his temporary ally attacked the enemies in front of him, Oliver was right behind him, ready to fight. He began by parrying an attack by one of the smaller ones and following up with a stab at it, which caused it to jump back. He sliced at another, barely missing, and for a final Heartless he kicked and jumped at it, stabbing it, ending by flipping back to avoid attacks that were surely on their way.
As he caught his breath, he observed the man in armor as he fought.
Glacio took a step foward after showing his hopefully new ally his battle gear. He charged with a slash, cleaving a heartless in half and then was hit by a couple of other heartless. He was rusty. It was weird, his sword was felt lighter than it normally weighed. He stood there after defeating some of the heartless, trying to move but his armor seemed to have gained almost 10 times its normal weight. He was surrounded by the heartless now, but they were waiting for some reason.
A strange voice said, "O.M.E.G.A. systems online. Analyzing tactical battle style. . .adjusting armor style. Centurion style now active."
"Huh", Glacio said and then with another flash of light, his armor, was now different than before, now it weighed lighter than before, but also it seemed thinner
"I guess speed for defense", Glacio said jokingly.
He then charged forward with a powerful horizontal slash, wiping out some of the heartless surrounding him. Lets see what magic should I use, hrmm FIRE. Glacio then shot a charged ball of fire towards some of the other heartless trying not to hit the other guy. Boom he had hit one to close burning most the the heartless but also burning himself slightly because he was on the outer edge of the blast radius.
Okay, this guys armor blew anything that Oliver owned out of the water. It was clearly either magical or high-tech, but either way it was surely worth a lot of money. He doubted he'd be able to steal it, but it sure was cool. Something to think about, more than anything. Not to mention the fact that the user was a decent swordsman and could also use magic. No doubt, Oliver was outclassed in many ways.
However, he was sure that he had one advantage over this guy- speed. As he did his thing, Oliver rushed up to a couple more of the Heartless. He decided to use one of the many abilities he learned in Bhujerba: He jumped up to one of the Heartless and performed a Double-Attack. He sliced horizontally and vertically, hitting perfectly on both counts. The Heartless hesitated as Darkness leaked from its surface, and then retreated to the Darkness from whence it came.
Its allies were enraged at this, and became more aggressive. They tried hard to attack Oliver, but he was too quick for them. As he weaved around the little creatures, he called to his ally: "Are you doing all right?"
This O.M.E.G.A. thins was weird, after Glacio used fire it had said " One-hundred-eight mana units left." Well he heard the other guy call out to him " Are you all right?"
"Yeah, I'm fine; for now anyways," Glacio responded in kind. Now ,from what Glacio could see on his side of the fight there weren't many of them left, but still enough to over power him if he isn't careful. This sparked an idea in Glacio's mind; what if he could get his blade to bounce and ricochet off of the walls to hit them.
With this in mind he thought for a minute, he then remembered his best magic, which was also his most costly, Reflera. So he paused for a minute, remembering how to cast it since he has not used it in a while.
Then Glacio yelled,"Reflera," and summoned his signature Reflera balls that could reflect almost anything. He placed these along the walls where the heartless were. With this he threw Ice Breaker, and it ricocheted and destroyed most of the vile creatures.
