Name: Eclipsion (ee-clips-eon)
Nickname: Eclips
Age: 3 months
Gender: Male
Species: Replica
Position: Neutral
Powers/Abilities/Techniques/Skills:
Corridor of Darkness: While not a nobody or an inherent being of darkness, the Organization created him in an attempt to create a synthetic person, similar to the Riku Replica or Xion. Therefore he has some natural darkness abilities.
Bladesman: He was created with all of the skills and techniques of his real half. His other real self is somewhat familiarized with most types of blades.
Adaptation: Given his background, Eclipsion has had to learn to quickly adapt to situations.
(Limit Break) Light's Agony: Eclipsion summons forth all of his light and darkness and sets them loose. Pillars of light and darkness spawn from his fingertips as he sends them towards his opponents. The technique ends with him charging all of his light and darkness and releasing it to create a large sphere of energy in all directions.
Being of Light and Dark: His fake body was imbued with the power to control both light and dark. Thus giving him the pros (and cons) of being able to use both.
Weapon/Items:
Organic Blade: A blade that literally transforms to it's wielder's desires. It's basic form is a normal curved sword (Soul Eater's shape) but it can change drastically depending on what Eclipsion wills it to become. It can change into an axe, whip, mace, spear, etc.
Diary(?): A book that Eclipsion woke up with upon birth. It details a recent adventure by a man who was researching The World That Never Was. The diary doesn't list what the research was for or who the owner was. It seems to end prematurely before the journey's end, did something happen to the owner?
Picture:
Image is stretching the boards. Please resize, thanks. (~WD staff member) Appearance: Eclipsion stands at about 6ft 0in, he is thin and tired looking.
He has long wavy chestnut brown hair with green tips. His bangs obscure his left eye completely while leaving his right eye slightly unobscured. His eyes are pale blue.
He wears a grey hoodie with an off-white shirt underneath. The tips of the sleeves end with black fabric as well as the bottom edges of the hoodie.
He wears dark blue jeans that are slightly faded. Usually the left pant leg is rolled up to his knee, the other is usually left alone. It's a strange habit that seems to stem from his other self. Eclipsion usually leaves it like this without thinking about it.
He wears grey converse flats with white shoe strings. He also has a neck tattoo of what looks like two overlapping crosshairs from a gun. Eclipsion isn't sure what it's supposed to symbolize. Lasly, he wears a silver nobody pendant, which symbolizes that he once was a member of the Organization or at least an affiliate of some sort.
Personality: Since he was just born recently, he doesn't yet have much of a personality. It is in development and it will become more clear as he interacts with the world. For now, he is a quiet individual, often listening without talking. He is analytic, studying whomever he meets. And for now, he is a bit wishy-washy, he doesn't really have an opinion on anything. Since he's just a replica, he shares no memories with the real Eclipsion.
His human self whom he is based off of was a bit more outgoing. While still considered quiet, he often had a good sense of humor, making witty remarks and employing sarcasm. He was empathetic towards many, always striving to help others. He enjoyed being with friends and learning new things about the world(s) they lived in. He had a strong heart, that he always strived to follow.
Original World: Radiant Garden
Current World: Radiant Garden
History:
Eclipsion was originally a normal 20 year man who lived peacefully in Radiant Garden. One day an opportunity arose to be able to visit a new world. The hooded stranger had persuaded him that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Feeling adventurous, Eclipsion ran through the dark corridor, eventually arriving in The World That Never Was. All around him skyscrapers stood tall in the dark sky. He wrote of his travels in that world. He wrote of the battles that ensued with Heartless and Nobodies alike. Though the rest of his diary wouldn't list the rest of the events that transpired.
Eclipsion was incapacitated by a group of Nobodies. Their strength had been too much for him and they took him kidnapped him and brought him to their leaders, The Organization. They saw a different type of strength within and decided to run experiments. Eventually they created a replica of him, with all of his combat abilities and no memories. The original was disposed of while the replica was fated to carry out tasks within the Organization.
His heart and body were fakes, unbeknownst the newly awakened replica. The Organization had created him in an attempt to create a being that could wield both light in darkness in equal shares. Creating something rare that could rarely be emulated or learned by others.
His frail constitution proved to be his failing however. The Organization realized he was just a broken tool. And so, treating him as such he was cast out and banished. Now he awakens in Radiant Garden, only knowing that he is an outsider to the Organization and a possible enemy to the Heroes of Light. He knows not of his existence as a replica, only that he remembers just one day starting his first mission within the Organization. Every memory from before is... missing.
Role Playing Sample:
-Day 1 Beginning of a New Existence-
Darkness, it was all he could fathom when he gained awareness. He faintly heard a voice,
"Give him the clothes from the original. He'll no longer have a use for them anyhow." He felt his body being covered in cloth. He had been lying on the cold tile floor, it was smooth and felt nice against his cheek. He heard a strange type of snapping sound.
"Come on, wake up; otherwise I'll turn you in a Dusk." Eclipsion felt his eyes open, everything was fuzzy and it was difficult to focus on one thing.
He woke in a white room, behind him a large glass tube that was filled with a strange clear liquid and a breathing apparatus that kept the inhabitant from drowning. The white in this room was unbearable, everywhere he looked, there was white. Finally his eyes found something dark in front of him and this gave his eyes time to focus.
He saw the figure move and felt something grab him by his long mane of hair. His head lifted up to meet the dark object in front of him. It appeared to be a man in his 30s, slightly chubby and balding. The man's green eyes stared back into his.
"Good you're awake and you seem to be able to see....this puts our plans for you into Phase II." Eclipsion wasn't sure how to even respond to the man's strange words.
"I need you to stand up on your own."Eclipsion felt the nerves in his body begin to relay their signals. His legs shifted slightly his arms began supporting him as he stood for the first time. He was a bit wobbly, but given time he would be able to stand normaly.
"Alright good, now I can bring you to the Superiors and show them that you're functioning." Eclipsion's mind was almost completely blank, he only half understood what the man in the black coat was saying. The mysterious man led Eclipsion, through a few rooms that he couldn't even fathom. Purple walkways that appeared to be floating in the air connected one floor to the other. His mind couldn't begin to understand what he was looking at. Eventually he found himself standing in front of a large white door. The man in the black coat turned around and began talking to him.
"Now, mind your manners. Speak only when spoken to, and answer the questions any of them may ask you, understood?" Eclipsion didn't really understand but he nodded anyway, his eyes blank and vacant.
"Eh...I'm having trouble believing you but regardless, here we go."
It was through these doors that he found himself meeting the Organization. The faces of various men stared down at him, most of their faces covered by black hoods. It was here that they spoke to the man who had escorted him into the room, asking him various questions about things Eclipsion didn't understand. Suddenly he felt his arm get nudged. He looked at his escort to see that he seemed to expect him to say something. Had one of the men asked him a question, he hadn't heard.
"He asked, Can you remember your name?" Eclipsion looked high up into the tall white chair. In that chair sat a broad shouldered man, underneath his hood he could see glimples of long silver hair. Eclipsion merely shook his head, he didn't even knew he had a name.
"Good, then we can start from scratch with this one." This is what the voice from the chair said. Eclipsion wasn't quite sure of what the man in the big chair meant. His escort and the Superior continued to talk and eventually he was ushered out of the Organization's presence. Outside of the room his escort briefly talked to him.
"Since you're not an official member of the Organization, or a Nobody; you will not be given a customary name. You may keep your name from before, Eclipsion." The young man nodded blankly in response,
Eclipsion...
