In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

A steady gaze swept across the second district, searching for a sign that Heartless would be near. Nothing. A sigh escaped her lips, and she decided to check the alley. Asea made it her daily routine to track down heartless, and destroy them. It would better prepare her for her goal, and the heartless terrorized Everyone who ventured out of the First District. Her “guardian" warned her that it was too dangerous for a little girl, but this “little girl" could handle herself. Otherwise, the Martial Arts classes were worthless. She had been in the class longer than any of the others, entering when she was almost eight years of age. She normally would have been bored of it, but martial arts was now her life. As she entered the alley, three small shadows surrounded her, quite a large number considering it was the second district. She easily dissipated the first two to dust, but the last one wasn't as easy. Before she could dissipate the heartless, it called for reinforcements.

As he was walking through Traverse Town Jeff closed his eyes. Letting himelf focus on the Pyromancy he tapped into it. This was a skill he taught himself to help him out in battle because some might use sneak attacks. Jeff approached the area after 2 minutes of running all the way there because he was already near the area of the Second District she was in. The heartless were vile creatures and deserved incineration. They would soon learn just how angry Jeff could be at them for their mere existence. Orb Blazer was then used by him and 5 orbs appeared shooting out beams of fire to raze the Heartless. Jeff was beyond mad now because they were ganging up on an unarmed person.
"You vile creatures took my world from me. Well guess what? You won't take the lives or worlds of anyone else a long as I draw breath."
To emphasize his point a volley ball sized Fireball was also shot at them. Jeff would not show any mercy and would do his best to make these Heartless die.

'Six to one. Not very bad odds.' Asea thought as she scouted for her next opening. She knew she could take them, she had been training long enough to destroy Soldier heartless, and Shadows were lower level heartless. As she was about to strike, a ball of fire flew past her dissipating all but one of the Shadows, catching her off-guard. The remaining shadow took that opportunity to slash a large gash into her calf. Not wasting time, she used a Yoko Geri (Side kick) to dissolve the offending heartless. Blood was flowing from her wound, but she ignored it, and shot a glare behind her. A boy was standing there, his hand still slightly ablaze. "What were you thinking?! I could have handled them myself!" She stood glaring at him, ignoring her bleeding calf.
Looking at her Jeff considered her. Strange that in the face of opposition she did not want any help whatsoever. Curious when he noticed the red fluid dripping out of her calf he walked over to her and cooled the heat on his hand. It was not enough to incinerate a human as the power behind the flames used on the Heartless had been. No this fire was less heated and made for a different purpose. If she allowed he would stop the blood flow. "I was thinking you were outnumbered. So what is your name? You may call me Jeff. If you want, I could stop your bleeding."
Jeff's eyes lit with energy for a moment as he embraced his pyromancy abilities once more. Scanning the area he double checked to make sure there were none of the offending creatures. Heartless were vile and he would prefer roasting them all alive. Of course chopping them up could be fun as well. Granted he did not have a full arsenal as he would have wished had he had time to pack. Yet his current gear would serve him well. Perhaps he could find a kindred spirit in the new girl.
"So perhaps we should unite our forces?"

Asea studied the boy, her eyes narrowed. So, his name was Jeff, and he obviously knew magic. He could prove to be a valuable ally. “Me leg is fine, it wasn't a very deep cut. My name is Asea." She casually bent down to dress her wound, tearing off the hem of her pants, and bandaging it tight to stop swelling and bleeding. “Joining up depends, what is your goal, and how far is your limit? If we have a similar idea in mind, maybe I will join you."
"Asea. Judging from what you have seen you already know my goal. Still I will tell you anyway. I plan to utterly wipe out all of the Heartless. Each and every last one of them shall taste my blade. It shall be their last sensation."
Jeff then smiled at her. "Of course I also plan to prevent any more of the creatures from being created. So you see I possess a lot that I must do to make my goals happen. I don't see why we couldn't work together. Any help is welcome by me presently."
Asea eyed Jeff warily, fingering her key necklace as she thought. As much as she wished it also, she knew it may be an impossible task. Also a very dangerous one. What did she have to lose? No one would really miss her anyways. Besides, what could they do if she did? They couldn't hop between worlds. She would just be another long-forgotten resident that vanished to another world and never returned. Well, maybe she would return someday... Finally she reached out her hand and smirked. "I don't think the taste of a blade would be very 'sensational', but as long as I can help serve it, I will join you. It seems that we have a similar goal in mind, and if I die in the process, which is probable, it will be worth it."
