In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Various items are stacked around the room, from glowing shards to over-sized books and more; this tiny shop is a packrat's dream.
A large steam-work capsule device appears toward the left wall, and an eccentric Moogle disguised as a super hero scurries toward you, trampling over an archaic spell book opened across the messy floor. This pint-sized fellow appears to be the Shop Keeper, and has all the self-confidence to prove it.
Mog:
"Hello! You may call me Dueler X, Kupo! I am the procurator of precarious things, kupo! There are few bargains I cannot find, few deals I pass up! As you can see, I always invest for the best, kupo! And most of my investments have compounding returns! . . .Sometimes. . . .Occasionally."
He gestures toward his newest prize - a machine in shambles that doesn't appear to have much value. "And with my new Materia Synthesizer 9,000 officially in business, I can take your ordinary, every-day materia and turn it into something much greater, kupo!"
He adjusts his belt and and looks at you with confidence. "So what do you say, kupo? Want to give it a try?"
Synthesis information: Dueler X is incapable of creating more powerful materia at this stage of the RPG. For example, Fire + Fire does not make a more powerful Fire spell. To keep things from getting too complicated, Fire is the only rank of the Fire spell, and so on and so forth. There is one materia type per element. However, what you do with that fire element is up to you.
You may combine any two basic materia you have together, as long as they are different. Nothing will happen if you combine two of the same spell.
Spells received once materia is combined cannot later be combined with anything. A combined spell is a complete spell, and how you make it work is up to you!
To combine materia, you must give Mog the two materia you wish to synthesize. This is done by clicking on the Dueler X profile (or Dueler X's name). At his profile look-up, the top right has a 'give' button. Select your materia, just one of each. The process may require you to refresh the page, so make sure the transfer is complete!
After giving Mog your materia, you must fill out the form below! You will hear back from Dueler X once he has combined your materia (and given it back). *Remember: the order of materia given will determine what spell you receive! This means if I fill out the form for dueler Dueler X in this order: Materia 1: Fire Materia 2: Ice,
he will give me something different than if I fill out the form in this order:
Materia 1: Ice, Materia 2: Fire
Post the form below when you are ready to synthesize. (After giving him the materia required.)
+ DestinyIntwined: Answered! ~As a general note to readers with the same question: Only Basic Materia x Basic Materia may be combined right now. We will let you know when more items are available for synthesizing! Thanks!

Ask Dueler X a question: In case we synthesize materia we can't figure out a use for ourselves, can we gift them to others or something? And should we contact the staff to describe how we would use the synthesized materia to make sure it's okay? That was two questions oh no.
Also I still have that old Rebirth materia that was accidentally sent to people and it was never removed, do you want to poof it now?

Hi everyone! Don't forget to accept your items from the gift icon at the bottom left of the screen!
+Marmadue, Fahe and Mikhail, done!
Answers to Marmadue's questions: 1: Currently we have the system designed that trades are not admitted between players for synthesized spells. The logic behind that is this: we want it to feel like the character is learning the spell they're receiving. If they cannot learn this spell, perhaps under just the right RP circumstances, they might be able to teach someone else the basics and thereby 'pass on' the spell, but it would require a special exception to the rules. But under the right RP conditions, this may be an acceptable modification of the rules.
Er, you just accidentally removed my cure and reflect that weren't meant for the synthesis: I gifted you a copy of both in July when I first wrote the synthesis request. Was I supposed to leave them in my inventory instead?
My most sincere apologies, kupo! My pet chocobo must've snagged those as you waited. I'll be sure to keep an eye on her from now on. Don't you worry, kupo! + Cure and Reflect materia have been restored! Mix-up on my part. You followed the procedure flawlessly.
