In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Those thin fingers running through the fur on his chin, trimmed fingernails gently scratching the "skin" under the fur, the black cat doll couldn't stop himself from giving off a purr, blue and yellow eyes closing momentarily as he enjoyed the brief touch of affection. His body unconsciously moved itself closer to Esme, not having felt something like that in ages, he wanted more. However, hearing her start to eat his rice ball brought him back to his senses, the cat shaking his head gently before taking another nibble of his rice ball.
Harukaka was glad that he was covered in such dark fur, as he was sure that he would've been visibly blushing otherwise. Still, after finishing the first ball, he could help but cast a sideways gaze over at his current companion, sliently wondering if she was enjoying the food. Haru could see from people's first reactions if they enjoyed his food, even if it varied from person to person. Continued eating was always a good sign, but it was they way the first bite would hit the customer that was important.
"So, what do you think? I added a bit of seasoning to the rice to make it kick, but not too hard. I learned my lesson when I gave a little girl one of my stuffed peppers..." Haru chuckled, remembering fondly the time he spent with Cora and how they had narrowly avoided a fatal fall.

She nodded, setting her head back against the dome of books she had set up. "I like it. I haven't really ate much aside from what I need to keep a healthy diet, so this is nice."
Having said that, her face held a smile for his innocent reactions. Her thoughts having led her to experiment with scritching his chin, and the result had been as theorized. Finger to cat-doll chin equals purrs. So, she did it again casually as she answered his question, sounding sincere with her words.

Books contain so many thoughts and ideals, Who are we to say some cannot be real?
