In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Doogie had been witnessing the decline of Twilight Town around him for a while now, but had figured that things would bounce back to the way they always would. At least until the stars also started disappearing. Seeing as how everything had not in fact become better, Doogie decided it was time for him to start taking matters into his own hands. Before he could do that…he’d need information, and he knew the best place to start.
For now, the tall man strode from his house heading towards Market Street. The days were becoming more worrisome as time went on, as Twilight Town was becoming increasingly dangerous. It was time that Doogie got to the bottom of this. Looking around as he entered the area near an item shop, he was surprised to see a lack of Heartless and Nobodies filling the streets. Most days there could be a couple spotted here and there, and when you were unlucky...well it was best to turn around and run away.
Stepping into the nearby shop, he smiled at the kind looking elderly woman standing behind the nearby counter. ”Hi there! I’m terribly sorry to bother you, but I’m looking for some information. I’m willing to part with a few Munny for it since I won’t be purchasing anything else.”
”Oh well that’s not necessary! What can I help you with my dear?”
”Much obliged! I’m actually just wondering if you’ve noticed anything strange going on in this area of town. I know that just about everything seems strange nowadays, but does anything in particular seem to stick out to you?”
Her brows furrowed in thought before shaking her head. ”Hmm…no, nothing that I can think of! We’ve seen an increase in those black and grey creatures that run around. I stay indoors most of the time because of that. But I’ve heard that the train has stopped. There’s always that old mansion that you can find outside of the woods nearby here. I don’t think anything of it but I always hear about kids saying weird things happen there. Sorry I can’t be of any more help my dear.”
Doogie smiled as he dropped a few munny onto the counter. ”It’s no problem at all, you’ve been an enormous help! I want you to stay safe okay? I might need some of the things you sell at this store in the nearby future.” The two smiled at each other as Doogie nodded and walked back outside. It seemed that this was a bust, but as he turned the corner, he couldn’t help but think about both the train station and the mansion the shop owner had mentioned. Maybe he’d be able to find something there.

Activity of Heartless and Nobodies in Twilight Town had been on the rise recently, so slow days were few and far between. Often, fighters would escort normal citizens to where they needed to go, if the creatures were brave enough to go onto the main streets. It was still best to at least carry some sort of weapon, in case one jumped from the shadows at you. So, on days of no activity, the town bustled, naturally. And a bustling day is what Foehn awoke to, the sound of people at the shops catching his ear from where he had been sleeping. A yawn and a stretch brought him to his feet, looking out his window at the city, and he smiled. Looks like he wouldn’t have to fight for food today. At least, not against any monsters.
A few minutes later, once he was all dressed and freshened up, if anybody was watching, they would see him jump out of the open window, feet first, as his wings unfurled with a snap. A few flaps slowed his descent so he didn’t land with trouble, and once he righted himself, he took a running start down the street, once again taking to the sky. It wasn’t that long of a walk to the merchants from his home, but it still felt good to stretch one’s wings in the morning. Or, rather, what passed for morning in Twilight Town. Constant twilight was tough to adjust to, but with time, Foehn had made a solid sleep schedule.
Now, what was he doing? With a rub to his eyes, he looked around, and with a start, remembered that he was low on essential breakfast goods. That would be his priority, but first, he wanted to enjoy the nice day. So he lazily glided around for a while, catching updrafts to keep him airborne, until he’d had his fill of flying. A few adjustments of his wings took him gliding towards the market, and he landed after a slow descent, feet first, wings already tucked in. It was just a short walk to the food stands, where he began browsing the goods. It took him a few seconds to realize that somebody was talking nearby, but once he did, he found himself accidentally eavesdropping.
” Much obliged! I’m actually just wondering if you’ve noticed anything strange going on in this area of town. I know that just about everything seems strange nowadays, but does anything in particular seem to stick out to you.”
This caught his interest, and he looked over his shoulder at the elderly woman’s shop behind him, and the stranger standing there. He didn’t stick out any more than Foehn did, but his words caught the Gria’s interest. When he didn’t get anywhere, the other person walked off, and Foehn raised an eyebrow, curious. He was going to check out the train station and the mansion? That caught his interest. He paid for the items he needed, putting them in a bag, and took the short flight back home, taking the time to put his merchandise into the fridge before getting the rest of his gear, and loading his pistol. He was going to follow this stranger and see what they were up to, if anything, out of curiosity. Finally geared up, he once again found himself leaping from his window, a few hard pumps of his wings bringing him well above the buildings of Twilight Town. A few circles of the sky allowed him to spot the stranger, and he landed quietly atop a nearby building, watching. He didn’t have to reveal his presence just yet.
