In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

In the short time Jin had been in Twilight Town, he'd quickly adapted to life as a refugee of his world.
Earthquakes were not uncommon things, and it was often that Jin found his habit of avoiding crowded locations with too many buildings to be even more of a blessing. Getting caught in falling towers was never one of his favorite activities.
However, it seemed that regardless of where he was when the ground started to shake he always found his way into the cleanup. That's what life was in Twilight Town - you either had to depend on one another or die on your own. In that way, Jin supposed it wasn't too different as life for a Gifted in Tamnia. Thankfully, the people seemed a little less wary around him when they knew he could be of help to them.
So when a loud crash signalled another skyscraper dropping, Jin recognized it as a call to action. There were likely people inside wherever it was that went down, and those people would likely need someone to dig them out.
Jin took a running start towards the sound of the crash, the quakes still rocking the ground as he vanished in a blur of speed. Traveling quickly was his best bet if he was going to dig out any survivors in time, especially if he had to work alone. Crush syndrome wasn't a joke, and oxygen deprivation and blood loss were also things to worry about.
When he arrived, the sight in front of him wasn't pretty. Station plaza had see better days, but the large chunks of cement and metal rebar were new additions since Jin had last seen it. Moreover, Jin could definitely sense people trapped underneath the rubble. At least four of them.
Taking a look left and right before figuring he was the first on the scene, the orange haired male figured he was the first on the scene. Thankfully, he was strong enough to start clearing the larger obstructions. If it came down to it, he could probably destroy some of the heavier debris with a quick bolt of lightning. What sort of danger that would pose to the people underneath all this would remain to be seen.
As Oswald was sitting lazily in on a large box near Station Heights he heard a tremendous boom, and then a wave of dust blow out from the broken down train station. This meant one of two things, either an earthquake had toppled the tower or there was a new arrival. Either way, he should check it out so he hopped off the box he was sitting on right as a sudden wind knocked him over. Startled Oswald got up and looked around for any signs of the reason for the sudden wind, when he found none he simply shrugged it off and ran into the train station.
Oh the poor station, even though most things had been destroyed before, this took the cake to it's beating, some of the top of the tower had fallen off as well as most of the clock, as well as some of the actual plaza had fallen leaving a small crater to the side of the rubble. After seeing all this Oswald immediately ran up to the rubble but skidded to a halt before crashing into the blazing haired teenager digging through the rubble looking lost in his thoughts.
"Hey, do you not what happened here? Or are you to lost in your thoughts to hear me?"
Charme opened his eyes, immediately regretting it as his head pounded. He closed them again, grimacing. He couldn't focus them- a concussion, maybe? The petite blonde moved weakly from the ground to a sitting position. He could feel his hair brush up against his face and stick against his back. His braids were also plastered to his bare midriff. Sticky- matted with blood, most likely. He hit his head at the end of his trip, apparently. He ran a hand over his body to check for injuries. The bindings on his chest were frayed and bloodied, but that wasn't too much of a loss. He had other silks to cover himself with. Regardless, it was nothing he hadn't dealt with before. Valdel had done worse. Vampires, man.
It was rough going but the dancer eventually found himself on his feet. He swayed slightly but found something to hold onto. He couldn't say for sure what it was, but it worked. The boy sighed and peeked one eye open.
This is more manageable, he thought as he examined his surroundings. Holy hells this place was in ruins. If there was a race for the most abandoned theme park this one would take the gold. As he looked around more he realized it wasn't a theme park. These buildings around him weren't attractions-
Charme opened both eyes, feeling fresh pain rip through his head as his eyes focused. He blinked once or twice as the swelling pain faded away and his jaw dropped in awe. This place... His heart beat a little louder. He could feel it in his chest. Wherever he was it was beautiful, even in its destruction. This was nowhere close to the Provinces. Hell, this place might not even be on Stellara. He pulled himself to a fallen pillar and lay down on it, his arms falling to the ground. The performer knew it was bad, but he felt warm. Fuzzy, even. Tired. He fought to keep his eyes open as he held a hand up.
He could hear a voice somewhere nearby.
"Hey, do you not what happened here? Or are you to lost in your thoughts to hear me?"
Charme wished he could make the situation a little more dramatic, but it wouldn't be too difficult to see the beautiful Hume wrapped in exotic, multicolored silks. Maybe when he had more energy... The androgynous figure gave a sigh and pulled himself up into a sitting position as he nursed his terrible hangover. Concussion. Same thing.
Avari had been wandering the streets when the quake hit. As the ground shook her first instinct was to crouch where she stood and look up to see what buildings would decide to fall this time around. If any of the buildings around her had fallen, she likely wouldn't have been able to escape the crash. She was relieved when they didn't- luck appeared to be on her side. That meant, however, that luck had not shown the same kindness somewhere else in town. She heard the thunderous impact coming from the direction of the Station and it only took her a moment before her feet began taking her in that direction.
"Jin!" She caught a glimpse of his carrot-top head before he vanished in a rush of speed on her way up Market Street. She knew his powers differed from regular magic, but it was always surprising to see just how many things he could do; lightning bolts, super speed, what was next? She didn't see him again until she reached the Plaza. She spotted two other figures nearby, one sitting up and seemingly hurt, perhaps having been caught in the quake by some of the falling debris, and the other a short dark figure with long ears and a tail. Misjudging the situation, Avari ran towards the blonde figure on the ground and with a short moment of concentration, shot a fireball towards the small dark figure behind Jin, having mistaken the creature for a heartless.
"Look out Jin!" Her fire magic of course still needed work as the one she shot was small, about the size of a baseball, and easily dodged by the targeted figure. Without looking towards the blonde, what she assumed to be a girl her age sitting on the ground, she asked, "Are you alright? Is there anyone else here?" She looked around the rubble for any signs of trapped refugees, but with Jin here Ava realized she should probably help the girl first before looking for other survivors.
Miller trudged along, following the train of individuals racing to find the source of the commotion. The remainder of this civilization had a dedicate populace, especially in the face of such disaster. The swordsman was just too damn tired to keep up with everyone else. Perhaps they were driven by loyalty; something Miller often mistook for debt. Regardless, he felt the need to follow and assist where he could.
Destruction wasn't uncommon for him; Miller had worked to repair land ravaged by war, after all. Plenty of collapsed, burning buildings had hidden secrets. It wouldn't be the first time he saw what remained of a family, huddled together for security in desperation. He shook away such thoughts, and with them the semblances they had with the world he now called home. Miller desperately hoped things wouldn't end up like that.
He had missed everything. Miller reached the cusp of the hill just after fire had been spun from thin air, and hurled at a squat figure. A pair of young individuals were tearing up the rubble before them, seemingly disregarding the dark being. One of them, the lady, had even located someone in need of help. Seeing that there were indeed people who suffered in the collapse sparked Miller, and his eyes were no longer dry and tired; They were alert now, studying the wreckage and keeping watch over the potentially hostile figure.

"Aaaaaaand done! It took a lot of work and several days, but this place is finally presentable!" Cora looked very proud of herself. Her new home, tucked away in an ally dead end, finally looked like a place where people could just hang out together. Or in her case, it looked like a place she could finally sleep with a roof over her head.
We were kind of worried since we had no broom, but Haru-kitties little magic lessons were handy! The wind was our broom!
"And we were able to learn how to make small gusts of wind in the process! Nothing fancy, though, but definitely something worth writing home about! Wait till Haru-kitty hears abou-"
Then there was a quake. Either she was incredibly lucky or just came very late, as this was the very first time she experienced a quake. There would be little she could do if it decided to ravage her new home, and even less if she wanted to escape.
Thankfully, her home was just fine.
"... wow... that was... that was scary..." she said, clutching her rebar for security.
You're telling me! Mana replied, Was that a quake! Geezs that was freaky... If we got caught in the collapse, I don't want to think about what we would be like. We should just search and hope we find Stella and-
Then a thought entered Cora's mind. The idea that quake did claim someone was more than enough for her to suddenly abandon her home and rush out.
Or, you can rush to someones rescue and worry about meeting new people after, that's fine too. Mana stated.
"This could be a potential emergency!" Cora replied. With her rebar in hand and the wind pushing her forward in her haste, she rushed towards market street as quickly as the wind would let her. When she arrived, she saw a man slowly making his way towards the clock tower.
Memories of what happened when she first arrived flooded her mind and fueled her anxiety. A gust of wind and she was rushing up the hill. The sight when she arrived was not a pretty one.
"Ooooooooh fudge..." she exclaimed, both terrified by the sight and awed by the destruction that was caused both to the tower and to the plaza itself. The gathering of people here suggested that there were some trapped inside. She ignored the fact that there were strangers here. The ones trapped inside needed help. One last burst of wind and she sprinting towards the rubble, doing all she could to dig out the rocks either by hand or by her staff on the off chance that there may be someone underneath.
It wasn't too long after Jin arrived on the scene that others began showing up. The help was certainly welcome, but Jin didn't know how useful some of the people that were around would be.
For starters, there was this little pest.
Was it blind? How else could it explain running into someone who was basically standing still and throwing chunks of rubble to the wayside? He'd been expecting it to weave around him to start digging at the very least, but that was apparently asking too much.
As he turned to face his apparent aggressor, Jin heard Avari's call. The burst of flame afterwards wasn't unexpected, but the need to draw a sword and disperse the blaze with an electrically charged slash was eating into time better spent digging through the wreckage.
"Focus on the injured, Avari! The faster we find and treat them, the more people survive." Jin shouted as the girl approached the bleeding figure. Hopefully that head injury would be solved with a layer of gauze and a few days in bed, and there were plenty of remedies for physical wounds available in this town. Healing shouldn't be an issue. The problem was going to be getting to the people under the rubble so that process could start.
Looking down, Jin took account the rather short figure that had run into him. Whatever it was, it wasn't a threat. In fact, the cynical snark in its question of his focus made it more of an annoyance than anything else. Jin took a second just to look at the thing, eventually growing frustrated at its expectant gaze.
"Are you going to stand there all day, or are you going to dig?" Jin questioned, dismissing the creature and returning to his work of dragging up some of the larger rocks and tossing them to the side. There wasn't any time for cartoons right now.
It was at that moment that another girl came running up to the rubble and began burrowing into it with abandon. She knew how to use her staff for leverage to make up for her lack of physical strength, which was certainly appreciated. It meant less time spent on coordinating an effort if everyone had some sort of role in their head already.
"She's got the right idea. See if you can help her," Jin spoke, turning his head towards Oswald and nodding in Cora's direction as he did so.
The work was long and slow, but with so few people actually working on the scene that was to be expected. Thankfully, aimlessly digging wasn't something people had to worry about. Jin's senses made it easy to pinpoint peoples' exact locations.
With one last boulder, Jin uncovered the first of the crash's victims. She was a young woman, unconscious with her left leg trapped under a weighty rock and sitting atop a puddle of what Jin hoped was her own blood.
The barest hint of a new presence prodded at Jin's senses, and the shadows in the crater that the girl was laying in began to warp and take form. Heartless sprung up by the dozens, sending Jin jumping back for cover. Just what the hell were these things doing here?
It would be impossible to clear out all the rubble in time to save the people underneath it if the Heartless were going to get in the way of the diggers. It was time for a new plan.
Jin's eyes darted around, looking for any semblance of a competent fighting force. He could handle a few of these little bugs no problem, but the numbers they were amassing would be trouble to handle all by himself. The injured couldn't fight, so that crossed the person Avari was caring for off the list. Avari might be able to help, but she'd have to get really good at slinging that fire really fast. The cartoon that had bumped into him earlier might be able to do something, but as far as Jin was concerned it wouldn't be much. The other girl who was digging through the wreckage might be of help as well, and...
Jin's head whipped around so that his gaze locked onto the figure standing off in the distance. How the hell could anyone just be standing there doing nothing when there were lives on the line?
In a flash, Jin was in front of the boy and had reached to grab at his lapel. From there, he dashed back at high speed while trying to keep a tight grip on the boy's shirt. If he was working fast enough or the boy was too shocked by suddenly being grabbed to react, they'd have a new set of hands to help out here.
"Dig or fight, but if you stand around doing nothing then blood is going to be on your hands! If you're too injured to do either, then you're in the way. Get out!" Jin called to everyone. Three arcs of electricity shot from the boys hand and marked locations in the rubble with black, charred markings.
"The rest of the survivors are all underneath there. You don't have to trust me, but your work will be a lot easier if you do."
With that, Jin drew both blades as neon blue arcs of electricity danced off of them. The energy condensed, growing more potent and shifting to a navy hue as Jin prepared for the fight. He spun both swords in his hands once, the one in his rear hand ending up in a reversed grip and pointing behind him while his forward arm held the point out at the group of Heartless that had fully emerged from the rubble.
Leadership wasn't his strong suit, but he could certainly dish out orders when the situation called for it.
Charme clapped his hands over his ears as a knife's edge pierced his forehead. Oh man, too loud. No please. He laughed quietly; partially because he preferred that to yelling, partially because he knew she hadn't meant to, and squinted to avoid his senses further damaging his mental stature. Brunette with dark eyes. Too many people looked down upon Byronic complexions nowadays; nobody could appreciate the darker sides of things. He took his hands away from his ears and whispered. "I fell from the sky. I dunno if there are others." His voice was light and melodic, silky. His smile turned into a grimace as he put a hand over one of his eyes. Talking hurt too.
The petite blonde pulled himself from his sitting position and held onto the destroyed pillar as he tried to find his balance. Charme watched as a man slew orders and aggression to and fro, cringing as the man's voice rose. He couldn't make out the distinct words, but it was already burning through his mellow. An eyebrow rose and he pulled out an ornate golden baton. With one hand steadying himself he waved it through the air, taking a step for-
His face met gravel and pavement.
Okay. Not ready for that yet. The unseen yet thick Aether surrounding him dispersed as he pulled himself back up, rubbing his sore face. At least he was tiny- the falls didn't hurt as much. The destitute dancer regained his footing and looked to Avari with a pout. "Love, don't let me hold you back. I'll be here after you're done." He tilted his head towards the shouty man.
It was at that point he noticed that shadow creatures. His eyes narrowed, his smile sharpened. So they'd followed him. Even after his world was destroyed, the Secret-Keeper's children were after him. Damn it all. He pulled his baton out as the creatures dove into some kind of crevice he couldn't see from his current vantage point. "Actually... With those creatures around, I'd love to have some company." How long until they came for him, just like last time? And in this state he had no means of defending himself. He doubted he could even charm them.
Before long, Jin was barking orders around as more people began appearing to help the victims of the earthquake. He addressed Avari first, which was quite embarrassing as she realized that the small figure beside him was not an enemy after all. Turning to the wounded girl with a look of apprehension, "The sky? Did you fall from the tower?" Avari glanced up to the clocktower above, noticing the newly made cracks and missing stone in the structure. Surely if if the girl fell from the very top she shouldn't still be here, but the idea that she fell from the sky seemed even more preposterous, unless the girl was a new refugee. If that were the case, she'd picked an unlucky time to pop up in Twilight Town.
"Whoa, take it easy there," Avari said attempting to help the blonde as she stood up off the ground, only to fall over as she pulled out a golden baton. Avari cringed, imagining how painful the fall must have been in the girl's state, and she immediately stooped down to help her back up, "Geez, careful there," disregarding the girl's comment about leaving her here, of course. The girl's attention then seemed to be drawn towards the hole Jin stood near, and Avari could see a glimpse of the dark forms that were certain to be heartless.
"Come on, let's get you to safety, okay? There are people ready to help just down the street." After the quakes there were normally people gathered in the safest area administering medical help to the wounded, so with the heartless running around, that seemed to be the best course of action for the moment. So, she put the girl's arm over her shoulder to support her as she started to lead the way back towards market street. She tried to keep at a pace the blonde was comfortable walking in her state, but at the same time, Avari was anxious to get her to safety as soon as possible so she could help the rest of the wounded.
Miller was, at first, impressed by the boy's speed; he quickly grew offended as the carrot top literally grabbed his attention. He had tensed up, lazily swinging a backhanded fist at the arm that held him. Jin had moved away, however, protected by the grandiose speech he was giving. Everyone was here to help those in danger, why announce everyone's intentions? Was the boy glory-seeking? The thought of this disgusted Miller, as if there was praise to be had when the world was in squalor. Each individual here operated at roughly the same level, with nothing to give but their time and most precious possessions. Grand-standing had no benefit here.
A sword gleamed in the light of the fractured moon, silently drawn from behind a cloak. Miller hefted the thing into the air, spinning it back ever so slightly, and catching it by the forte. He could feel the tendons in his fingers pulling towards the dull edge as his magic did its work, raising tension in the blade. This parlor tricks were all that remained of Miller's magic, which was stronger in his old world. Finding a catalyst would be a priority. With a gruff exhalation, Miller threw the blade like a javelin at the closest inky shade. The sword, expelled with a burst of gravity magic, shot forward, past Jin, on a true path.
Miller walked briskly forward, prepared to enter the fray to pull his sword back to his hand. He was never one for battle poses, and there was no way he'd be shown up here by this fire-headed fool.

For the moment, she didn't really pay much attention to what anyone was saying. She just continued to dig and dig to the best of her ability. It wasn't until she had made a considerable dent in her spot that she came to realize: was she just mentioned recently? Wait, was she being praised?!
That was enough for her to look up at the others.
Huh, lots of people here suddenly... okay a hand full of people... and a bunny? I get the feeling the poor thing gets mistaken for a heartless easily...
I think he's supposed to help you...
Oh!
Meekly, all she could do was offer the bunny a small, sheepish wave before getting back to work.
As time went on, it was beginning to get a bit monotonous. She started to doubt that anyone was under neath any of the rubble. Was she doing all of this for nothing?
Danger...
The familiar whisper caused her to snap back to reality. A sight she had not expected to see suddenly sprang forth, seemingly forcing one of the diggers to jump back.
Heartless?! Here and now?! Wait, were the Heartless the ones trapped under the rubble?! Are these friendly heartless? Well, whether they were or not, there was no harm in trying to reason with it, right?
"Um, Mr. Shadow? I'm sure you had a very rough day, but if you don't mind- YAH!" That was more in response to the lightning arcs marking three nearby spots. It seemed that, supposedly, this guy was marking the locations of the other survivors?
"Um, on second thought, I think I should worry more about them, okay? Do me a solid, Mr. Shadow, and please don't cause trouble!" With that, she rushed with all of her might to one of the spots, hoping to dig out anyone quickly enough before the Heartless started to have their fun.
Things started to get complicated now that the group had to focus on fighting the Heartless and digging for victims at the same time. They needed to get organized and set up a defense quickly if they wanted to maximize the amount of survivors. The ones more fit for combat - that was himself, Avari, and perhaps the brooding figure that he'd called out earlier as far as Jin was concerned - should hurry and start fighting. Everyone else needed to focus on digging.
In response to the unspoken question, Miller's sword came flying past Jin's head. Maybe it was a bit of a residual grudge from Jin's earlier manhandling of the boy, but a sword getting close to his head in order to strike down one of the dozens of Heartless that were beginning to show themselves wasn't something Jin was going to take offense to. The second war between the Gifted and Caelum had been starting in full swing when the Heartless showed up and dragged Jin here. As a result, large battlefields and taking risks to ensure victory weren't unfamiliar concepts to him.
When the thrown sword returned to the hand of its owner, Jin suspected some sort of telekinesis. It was a good skill - and an incredibly rare one by Tamnian standards. Those that had it weren't usually very skilled with it as a result. The trick that Miller had performed was near the upper end of most of their talents. For that much, Jin trusted that the boy could hold his own without the need to be babysat. His aim wasn't anything to scoff at, either.
"Go help the girl and the animal. Watch their backs while they dig," Jin said as his gaze went from Miller's sword to the boy's face. "I'll help Avari look after our downed survivor."
In the blink of an eye, Jin had moved from his old position and had thoroughly buried one elecrified blade into the body of a Shadow. The grouping that had gathered around Avari and Charme was steadily growing as if they were just waiting for something to happen. The question was what.
Gazing back to the rubble that had encased the people they were trying to save, a thought tore its way into his mind and rooted its feet in that position. The Heartless were emerging from the rubble. For the longest time, there was something about the way that his senses percieved them that had bugged him. It was almost like they weren't there. Like they weren't alive.
No. That was absolutely ridiculous. What sort of stupid rules would this world have to follow if people weren't even allowed something as simple as death? Still...
Jin's glance shot back to Charme. Head wounds tended to bleed a lot, but this was ridiculous. Jin doubted there was much more in Charme's body to lose. If someone didn't do something fast, Jin wouldn't have to wonder about his theory anymore.
"Avari," Jin's level tone drawled as he cut into one Shadow after another. The damn things just wouldn't go down no matter how hard he hit them. Sure, they'd pop into that black and purple mist, but that didn't stop them from reforming in some other place later. Jin knew what he was up against - the Heartless couldn't be killed with normal weapons, just delayed.
Now Oswald had been very confused during this entire "expedition" between being shot at by a fireball, a strange boy had zipped around and grabbed Miller, and finally there was an amassing swarm heartless approaching. It was an interesting but he did as the stranger asked and started digging immediately, he did not want to get on his bad side. It would probably end in a fight, and he didn't think he could handle a fight with his expertise. So he ran to the first spark he could, which happened to be a foot from the swarm, but he started digging as fast as possible.
It was occasional that some shadows went up to him, but a quick blizzard got them a way quickly, he was beginning to love that little star charm he'd bought it shot a nice fragmented blast that got most of the swarm away from him when he cast it. Through all of that digging, he came upon a huge piece of steel or iron, whatever it was Oswald couldn't lift it, but an audible moan came from underneath it, and that was all the shadows needed to start their swarming towards Oswald and the victim.
Even if he couldn't lift the giant metal, he guessed the lightning fast boy could, but until the stranger helped him, he would need to defend the towns person. So he pulled out his remote, and pointed the antennae towards the first of the swarm and pressed the button, the electricity shot out into the swarm and turned a few to dust, but it wasn't enough, he needed more to take care of the swarm. "Hey, Miller, a little help here."
"No way!" Charme huffed as he pulled himself over to his favorite broken pillar. "I've survived worse." The girl beside him would understand. "Avari! Tell him to keep fire away from my hair." He used Avari to steady himself and hid behind her, holding the golden baton towards Jin as a deterrent. The dancer's green eyes sharpened as he watched Jin carefully. This was the yell-y one. He was the aggressive leader guy who'd been doing all the hero stuff.
To be honest, most of the blood wasn't even his. His caravan had stood in the way of the Secret Keeper's minions as the manor around them at the time began to crumble. He didn't recognize this beautiful city despite knowing all of the Five Kingdoms, so he could only guess that he was on another continent or something? Or maybe he was on the other side of the Door. Perhaps he had accidentally let the Secret Keeper IN, and now he was stuck outside? As his mind drifted into tangents he felt the brain-pains resurface and pushed them away, remembering that the two strangers were still paying him mind.
"Oh, right. Sorry I spaced out there for a sec. I'm Charme, the boss of the D'amoure Caravan!" Still holding his baton out, he eyed his surroundings. The tiny minions eyed them from a short distance away, tilting their heads this way and that. Like animals. "Who are you guys and where am I? Also, what are those shadow things?"
He lessened his grip on Avari's arm as one of the creatures scurried towards them. These weren't nearly as big as the ones that had attacked him back in the manor. Still, he could see their grubby little hands had claws and wasn't going to take any chances. He shifted his baton vertically and it immediately elongated into a full staff. He ground it into one of the cracks in the stone beneath his feet and leaned against it, nudging the creature backward with his foot.
Charme's verdant gaze shot to the others. "Uh. I dunno how to fight. You two are super heroic and you," he stared at Jin, "have a sword. You got this?"
Avari's eyes darted up as the tall figure of Jin appeared in front of her. He struck down any heartless that got too close to them using the lightning on his sword. Between Jin's speed and fighting skill, these small heartless really didn't stand a chance, so Avari wasn't too worried about getting overwhelmed by the creatures. And should an opening present itself, she could even throw in one of her fireballs, which she had been getting quite handy with after her encounter with heartless in the underground tunnels. Avari spent a large chunk of her time practicing the magic, though it was still hard to land a hit on these small heartless that darted all over the place.
As Avari watched the approaching heartless closely, keeping herself between the dark shadows and the blonde girl, Jin suggested she use her magic in another way. "Cauterize?" She glanced up at him, "I mean, I have been getting the hang of this magic thing, I could-"
She looked over her shoulder as the blonde interrupted, absolutely refusing the suggestion of using fire to treat her wounds. Avari didn't blame her, though her hair didn't seem like the best reasoning for it. The girl hid behind nevertheless, as though Jin happened to be scarier than the heartless currently closing in, and gripped Avari's arm. Avari looked back to Jin for some kind of guidance or, well, something; this rescuee was becoming a handful. The girl then introduced herself as Charme, leader of a caravan, though Avari couldn't imagine a caravan in Twilight Town, let alone one with someone as young as Charme in charge of it. The girl couldn't have been too much older than she was! Charme could have come from another world, but it seemed like an odd occurrence to appear at the same moment an earthquake shook the town.
Avari glanced over to see the heartless that had come up from behind them, and while Charme nudged it with her foot, Avari took a swing at it, knocking it away with her ineffective struggle bat before following up with a fireball. She smirked at Charme and said, "Nice to meet ya! We'll get you to safety, okay? Can you walk?" She looked at the baton-turned-staff in Charme's hand and couldn't help but wonder what that was for, if not for fighting of some kind.
