In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

Name: Louis Lotus Nickname(optional): Louie
Age: Somewhere around 350, he's sort of lost count.
Gender: Male
Species: Vampire
Position: Good
Powers: Thundaja: The most powerful Thunder spell known to exist; It generates a massive amount of lightning that can be dispersed evenly among an area or focused onto a single foe. Limited Transformation: A natural vampire ability; He can take the form of a Vampire Bat or a Gray Wolf. Lifesteal: A dark power that allows the user to gain life from another. Restricted Immortality: A natural vampire ability; Louis cannot die unless his heart is destroyed. His body will cease to function if he has not had enough blood to drink or if he is exposed to too much sunlight, but he can continue living if 1 or both of these problems are attended to. Lotus Kick: A powerful jumping kick that normally goes in a 360, 540, or 720 degree spinning jump.
Weapon: 2 metallic battle gauntlets that each cover the entire forearm from just below the elbow down to the fingers. The tips of the finger-armor upon the gauntlets are very sharp and pointy. They can also emit minor cutting lasers that normally equal the cutting power of a sharp kitchen knife, but can increase in power, depending upon how much stamina or energy is put into the attack or use.
Picture(optional): None, sorry. I'll see if I can get one up sooner or later, assuming I can get a friend to draw a sketch.
Appearance: Louis is about 6 feet tall and very slender. His hairline comes to about an inch away from his forehead, and his loose black hair is often slicked back to a few centimeters down his neck. His eyes are a bloodshot red. His nose is very flat, the bridge of the nose only going about 2 centimeters off of his face. He has 2 long, sharp fangs on his upper jaw, used normally for obtaining blood from different creatures. Upon the right side of his neck, there are 2 bite marks. His torso contains, to use the crude term, an “8-pack” of abdominal muscles and some firm, small pectoral muscles. His arms contain a good amount of muscle, but it would seem like simple, weak arms if one were to view them through a skin-tight shirt or any other sort of clothes. His legs are very slender, but also contain a lot of hidden muscle. His feet are about, in American male shoe size, a 10. He often wears a black shirt with a large black cloak with a red inside (the cloak, I mean). He also wears simple slippers for footwear and black, loose cargo pants. His Physical Avatar wears a blue T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and cross-trainer athletic shoes.
Personality: Louis is a wise, funny, and patient being, though being hunted for centuries has hardened him quite a bit. He often tries to start up conversations with people (sometimes even random people on the street) by bringing up some random piece of information that he knows, such as how, “. 13 percent of all car accidents in Christmas Town somehow involve a moose?” When angered, he will not take it well and may violently burst out somehow. If he’s not angry in a combat situation, he can normally assist by analyzing the enemy and tell what he knows about it, which is more than often quite a lot. He can be playful and silly when he’s happy or calm. If he is around a woman, he is very chivalrous and kind, making sure that the woman is attended to. When he has to drink the blood from another human, he does not drain them completely so that he may prevent the subject from transforming into a vampire.
History/Background: Louis was born somewhere around 350 years ago. He lived a childhood as regularly as he possibly could back then in Old Twilight Town. He enjoyed juggling to entertain himself and his friends, and he would always try to cheer up someone when they looked sad or concerned. He also enjoyed performing tricks with electricity, showing off different manipulations of Thunder magic.
Things were normal until he reached the age of 16, when, one night, he got a visit from a friend of his; Brooke, a friendly girl about his age from the neighborhood. However, as of late, Louis hadn’t seen a lot of her lately. She had shown up upon Louis’ windowsill. Louis, being the knightly man he is around women, decided to try and brush off the oddness of the situation by allowing her into his room and having a conversation with Brooke. Louis and Brooke talked for a little bit, but after about 5 minutes of conversation, her true intentions were revealed. Louis started hearing Brooke’s voice inside his head, and it wouldn’t go away. This was Brooke’s telepathy, for she had become a vampire. Brooke proceeded to take out every ounce of blood within Louis’ body, then leaving Louis, a now partially dead corpse.
Louis came to about an hour later, feeling woozy and exhausted. Louis felt around himself, checking to see if Brooke had stolen anything, passing his hand over his neck to feel 2 holes within his skin. Louis panicked, remembering what he had heard around the town from people’s views on vampires. His own parents might even try to stab him in the heart if they found out. Louis looked outside, finding that it was still nighttime. Louis took advantage of this lack of sunlight to try out his new powers, trying to get his mind off of the whole doom factor. He ran outside, trying to remember what powers vampires had. In his experimentation, Louis was witnessed by a member of a Vampire-Hunting League. Louis flew off far away as a bat, hiding on the dark side of Twilight Town.
Over time, Louis developed his powers, enhancing his Thunder powers to their maximum. Once the technology age had come around, Louis instantly was attached to it all. He developed great skills at most anything involving a computer. He has managed to evade the Vampire-Hunting League long enough to get himself a large manor in Radiant Garden, full of trap doors, secret passageways and chambers, and a beautiful view of the moon from his bedroom window. He still looks to meet up with Brooke again someday, partially to thank her, partially to destroy her.
Role Playing Sample: Already done with Gozomoro Oso.
Questions/Comments/Suggestions? Do you think he’s too powerful, or is this a good set of powers? Also, is having a vampire character acceptable? After all, on the Character Creation form, it said “etc.” in the possible options.
One, you cannot be a vampiric netrunner. There is only so much one can be, and an Anne Rice-type vampire is not going to be able to shift consciousness to a digital form. For one, it would take forever to buffer...
While he can be adept with technology, there cannot be powers associated with it as long as he also has the typical neo-vampire alternate form and limited immortality. I'd also like to say that space flight is also something, unaided, that is its own rare ability that very few actually have, and vampire or not, I would likely say he needs some form of transportation of this manner. While they have their abilities, vampires are a little exaggerated -- or grossly so -- in abilities, and I often will see a character that explains far too much away with the species modifier as a reason.
In short, this is a little overpowered. Vampires are acceptable characters. However, be aware of the fact that since you wish to be in RG, your species would be known by at least the Committee. I also would like to request that you don't start an epidemic of vampires - no, I do not agree with the idea of being able to be changed into one, and never have liked the concept, just for the flowchart that would make...
One vampire exists. He has to bite one human a month to survive. This is twelve a year. When bitten, humans turn into vampires.
Month one, two vampires. Month two, four vampires. Month three, eight vampires. Month four, sixteen vampires. Month five, thirty-two vampires. Month six, sixty-four vampires. Month seven, one hundred and sixty-eight vampires. This is approximately the population of Radiant Garden. Month eight, three hundred thirty-six vampires. Month nine, six hundred seventy-two vampires. Month ten, one thousand three hundred forty-four vampires. Month eleven, two thousand six hundred eighty-eight vampires. Month twelve, five thousand three hundred seventy-six vampires.
This is assuming all the other vampires made need the same amount of blood as the original.
Also, the entire seduction of the undead and the concept that deviates from the original -- a deviation laid down initially by Dracula -- never did sit well with me. Shapeshifting... ah, well.
Basically, in short, you cannot transform others into vampires, you cannot cross-class with something that needs a practical inborn talent and latent ability that comes through years and years of work while a vampire, and I do not think you can fly through space.

So, to sum things down into the basic layman's terms, no unaided space flight, no vampire transformation, and no digital connection, or did I miss something?
Lifesteal is the ability to gain life from others. Telepathy is mental communication, a form of ESP. Telepathy is something I'm tempted to say no to, due to the massive amount of powers already imbued, though I may allow it depending.
Damn, that makes a social life during the day near impossible outside of the house. But you're the App. Nazi here, so I've not much of a choice. Very well, then. Louis loses the Avatar. However, he still maintains his strong knowledge of computers.
