Picture(optional): None
Appearance: Xing stands at about 5’11”. Every single part of his body is very, very muscular. His eyes’ irises are a burnt orange color. He is bald with various scars upon the top of his head. He has various slash marks all over his back. He normally never wears any clothes on his torso, though he does wear some very loose, soft, fireproof, white, easy-to-move-around-in pants. Upon the right side of his pants is a hilt bearing Xing’s dual hook swords. In his left pocket is a 12-hole red alto ocarina.
Personality: Xing is a very angry, vulgar, pissed off man. Rarely does he smile or show any happiness. Sometimes the smallest things will set him off, though sometimes he can hold his anger. Typically, all it takes is a reminder of his past and he will go berserk. He is quite headstrong and cocksure. He is not very good with formulating strategies; His battle technique relies on his trained instinct to dodge, fight, and burn. He is often playing music, whether it be with his own hands or his orchestra, whether it be alone or in the midst of a battle. The only time he may seem soft or even kind is when he’s alone with his ocarina.
History/Background: Xing grew up in a middle income family in a small, secluded village on “The Land of the Dragons” ((Mulan’s world)). His father was a blacksmith for the local army and his mother was a reading and writing tutor. Xing had 2 younger ferternal twin brothers; Liu and Lee.
Xing grew up with an average life; He would go to school, make some decent grades, cause a bit of mischief here and there, learn to play the guitar, and he would play with his neighbor and best female friend, Suyin.
However, when Xing was 15 years old, he was hanging out with Suyin, now his girlfriend, Xing had stubbed his toe upon a rock, and the pain had caused him to yelp. Within this cry of pain, fire had shot out of Xing’s mouth, this being a 1st for the young lad. He looked to Suyin curiously. “Di…did you just see that?” The 2 of them acknowledged that Xing had just shot fire from his mouth, so he and Suyin decided to test this newfound power out a bit.
Upon this further testing, Xing found he could emit fire from his hands, feet, and mouth, though he acknowledged that there could be more possible ways this fire could come from. Making Suyin swear to secrecy, the 2 of them kept this fire manipulation ability under wraps for a year, secretly training in it a bit at a time.
When Xing turned 16, everything in his life flipped around and went wrong. He came home one day to find his house ablaze. When he swiftly ran inside to check for everyone, he found his parents and brothers laying dead on the floor, scorch marks and penetrative holes where their hearts once were. Fleeing the house, Xing found Suyin standing there, waiting for him with a club in hand. The moment Xing approached her, she knocked him out with a swift whack to the skull.
Xing came to in a secluded cave, stuck inside some sort of cage. When he spotted Suyin, he questioned her as to what in the name of the guardians was going on. She went on to reveal that she had found a way to create lightning bolts using a special book she had come across. A completely different person now, Suyin explained her plan of how she and Xing could conquer the world using her lightning and his fire. Xing refused, begging her to come to her senses. However, since Xing had denied her, she summoned small, black creatures into his cage, ordering them to attack. The things assaulted Xing, the young teenage just barely winning over the creatures with his flames.
For the next week, Suyin tortured Xing with various blades and black creatures, never ending his pain unless he gave in. Xing cried until his eyes had run dry of tears and his heart had run out of love and kindness. Now there was just anger. The final morning of his captivity, as Suyin opened Xing’s cage for his morning slashes, Xing burnt her reaching hands. Springing from his cage, the 2 fought to the death. Although Xing won, he did not kill her by fire. Rather, he knocked her out and ran to get some wood, a hammer and some big nails.
When Xing returned, he built a large cross, nailing Suyin to it by her hands and feet. He then carried the heavy cross outside, propping it upright into town square. He set the cross ablaze, assuring her death. This act lost his citizenship from his village and made him public enemy #1 for a while.
Xing left the village, going far away to come across a sacred temple. Hiding away within the temple’s corridors, he taught himself in the ways of Northern Shaolin martial arts for 4 years, mixing it with sword fighting with dual hook swords that he stole and his fire manipulation.
However, during his self-training, Xing accidentally set the temple on fire, killing over half of the resident monks. Angry and ashamed with himself, Xing fled the temple at the age of 20. Within a month of his traveling, he met a wise man who taught him the ways of utilizing his inner darkness without letting it consume his heart. In the year that Xing spent with the man, he learned how to emanate music from his mind, how to play most any instrument, and how to teleport through the darkness.
After that year, Xing left the wise man, a stronger but still very angry man. Ever since then, Xing has traveled the worlds with the purpose of fighting the minions and leaders of darkness, loathing every bit of them for what happened to Suyin.
