In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

Well, how about we start changing them around? I mean, I have no qualms about the original apprentices retaining their ranks, but the others didn't join in exactly the same order as the Organization, did they?

I don't think there's a need to rearrange them. Regardless, Ansem, Briag, Dilan, Even, Elaeus, and Ienzo...would keep their ranks, since it's related to knowing Ansem in his previous life as Xehanort, while the others weren't...I'm actually curiously how the rest of the Dark XII were found; they don't really have a connection except through their nobodies.
Oh, no, I don't really mind being Number XI. I'm perfectly happy being Number XI, honestly. It fits in better with the plot and personality of Arumial anyway. I simply wondered why it was that the Dark XII could have been founded in exactly the same way, in the same order as the Organization.
From what I can tell, it's the order of how they came into being. Consider- a heartless and nobody are created at the same time. I'm going to assume that that's the case with this plotline, despite obvious discrepancies. They also are NOT subtle- when one comes into existence, it's known fairly quickly.
Now, it's KH canon that Xigbar is responsible for recruiting the other Nobodies. Whether that means killing willful people to get members or just finding XIII-powered nobodies and convincing them to join, I don't know. Regardless, it's fairly certain that they were recruited as soon as or shortly after they were created. Therefore, let's assume that the XII recruited in a similar fashion- as soon as or shortly after creation. By that logic, both should be recruited at the same time and given the next available number (makes sense- nobodies/heartless who have been nobodies/heartless longer getting higher responsibilities).
For age (example: Vexen being referred to as the oldest of them) that refers to their age pre-heart-removal. They are ranked by the time they've spent as a heartless or nobody.
It's not like before the XIII and XII the members were roaming the land. They didn't exist- Xehanort was the first person to become a nobody and a heartless of that level. That's why they're #1.
Okay. I guess since Arumial was heartlessed when Maleficent took over Radiant Garden, he came way after the Xenahort affair. Wow! My history made sense without even realising it!
