In a cataclysm known as the Nightfall, the worlds were almost completely destroyed by a harrowing surge of darkness.
In the shadows of the ensuing chaos a new group has taken shape. Led by an Aegyl named Kalos, the 11th Hour touts an esoteric knowledge of how to combat the darkness and restore the worlds. They might be the worlds’ best chance at survival; but nobody really knows enough about them to confirm or deny their claims.
On the brink of collapse, the universe holds its breath in anticipation. Of restoration? Of destruction? It is up to individuals like yourself to decide.

There aren't enough praises in the world I'd like to give to wonderful coders for the Proboards community. The following have contributed to World Destiny in some way: W3 Schools for countless how-tos and countless of other souls who have helped get WD up to where it is.

There were times in life when everything seemed to be falling into place; some piece was pushed into the right spot to make all the rest of the puzzle come together. Sometimes, it just took a single push in the right direction to cause one to realize just what had to happen.
Xigbar would have liked that to be the case, but so far, it very much was not.
'Find Castle Oblivion'. Those were the orders. Hell, 'least there was something going on. It looked like Xemnas had stopped sulking in his room long enough to get off his lazy ass and do something. Mission? Fuck yeah, man. About time. If the nobody had a heart, he'd be amped about it, no sweat.
Sure, he'd take Lucky with him. Didn't mind it; the dude was one of the people in this place he actually liked hanging around anyway. It wouldn't be that much of a challenge to track him down, either, though even if it took a while, it beat spinning beer cans.
In short, there'd been too much time with nothing to do. The slightest tug at the line and he'd reel it. Xemnas, as Xigbar was certain, knew that. Hell.
What didn't he know? The dude had them all by the beads of their coats and fucken' knew it. Just one moment after another, and for what?
Truth be told, the Freeshooter was pretty close to saying 'fuck it, I'm done'. But what then? There wasn't anything to do after that - nowhere to go. The best bet he had to getting his heart back was stickin' around here, anyway. For now, though - only for now. He wasn't so certain he'd stick around for the rest of it. He'd been loyal all that time for what, just to see it all reset and nothing change?
At long last. A mission. Orders handed down from The Superior, after all this time. Months of endless waiting finally resulting in action. Luxord had been in obvious disapproval at Xemnas' lack of initiatives. The longer we wait the less we gain, he had argued to Saix some while past. The Dark XII, King Mickey and his cronies. They certainly had no intent to sit by while the Organization worked out their kinks.
He appeared in a wisp of swirling darkness, tossing his hood from his head with a satisfied smirk, "I am to understand that you and I are the 'away team' on this inquest?" He crossed his arms over his chest with a nod, "Castle Oblivion... I must admit, Xigbar, a castle unlocked by the power of cards, I feel we may have had more success should The Superior named me its Lord rather than that conspirator Marluxia."
With a flick of his wrist, a fan of spread cards appeared in his fingers, a smug smirk crossing his lips, gently bending his thing beard, "I wonder what use could Xemnas have for Oblivion anymore..?"
